I live out of town but my grandkids have been wanting me to come here. So Friday was the day. And Muddbones did not disappoint!! The burgers were excellent and the atmosphere was great. I loved how kid friendly it was. There was absolutely nothing I would complain about and I look forward to our next trip there. It will be our new tradition.

We have made over an hours drive to dine here. We will continue to do so, it’s so worth it!! The people are some of the kindest, genuine people I have ever encountered. My husband and I typically order the Double Spoke with bacon, cheese, and bbq sauce. An order of fries 2 rattlesnake eggs (only available now Thursday- Saturday) the dipping sauce is amazing!

This is hands down the best burger you have ever had. If you can resist the burger, try the texas cheesesteak too. Seasoned fries are worth it, and definitely get the smokey jalapeño sauce on your burger if you like a little spice.

Ok so I am always heard a lot of talk about how good this place is I thought it was hype. I have never enjoyed being wrong as much as this I would say this place is everything that has been said about it and more. Great atmosphere great customer service especially the best tasting burger and n the Great state of Texas if I could change anything I would say cold beer on tap and breakfast.

Love love love this place! My mom and I drove 40 min to here because of how many people recommended it! The burgers were so delish! They were like smash burgers but seasoned well. The bun was super soft and tasted great! They also have their own fry sauce which was good too. I think my favorite thing there was the “burger magic” seasoning that’s on their tables. I don’t know what the heck is in it but it’s sooooo good! Small inside but cool atmosphere and very nice workers. We will be back!

Heard about this place....it was 1.5 hours away so I made the trek. Totally worth it! I had the double spoke with cheese and bacon. The beef was hot fresh and seasoned well and the veggies were cold and crisp. The bun was soft...it was delicious. Highly recommend. The whole family loved it. It could use some more seating but I loved the way it was decorated. Extremely clean and the staff were amazing. Definitely will be back. Also had the rattlesnake eggs which was delicious and I love the sauce.

You Will Not leave hungry or disappointed. Free Old School video games to play in the back while waiting for your Burger. The owners made such an amazing atmosphere right when you walk in the door . The customer service gets a 10/10 and when the food came out it blew us away . By far the best burger I have ever had . It was hot, well seasoned, and fresh . Me and my whole family for the deluxe burger and the rattlesnake egg and it was another 10/10 unbelievable flavor . The owner came and checked on us and created conversation with every person in the building . It was a great experience nothing negative to say .

July 2024 We stopped by after many great Google reviews. The owner stopped by and greeted us. Our group enjoyed the hospitality and the food. Here are my rating. 5 is very satisfy. -Taste on burger 4/5 (but fries were kind of soggy.) -Temperature 5/5 freshly hot -Cleanliness 5/5 very well kept. -Attentive and courteous 5/5 the cashier patiently explained to us the menu and offerings. -Speed 5/5 Will i recommend? Yes Will I revisit ? Yes.

Google didn't steer us wrong. Best burger we've had in a long time and found it in Bonham. Relaxed atmosphere with some arcade games and historical pictures on the walls. They also have a covered outdoor patio, although too hot outside for us but there are ceiling fans. The owner (?) has a great sense of humor. Next time we're in Bonham this will definitely be a place we will return to.

SO happy that we gave this place a chance yesterday! Camping out at Bonham Lake and we were craving a good burger. We heard this was the place to go! The owner took our order, and he was so welcoming and nice! I personally loved his jokes too! If you know you know. Anyway, not only was the service good, we DEFINITELY enjoyed the burgers and Philly cheesesteaks! They were full of flavor and cooked to perfection! The inside of the restaurant is a bit small but they have a covered patio too. This spot left me feeling satisfied and I can’t wait to go back! Thank you!!

By far the saltiest burger I've ever had, almost to the point where I thought maybe they literally spilled their salt shaker on the meat and just served it anyways. It was so bad...I couldn't finish it. Dang! I love this place. My favorite burger spot but also the worst burger I've had all year. Hope it was a one time thing but after that experience, I'll need some time to recover, lol. Second time eating here and DANG THESE BURGERS ARE GOOD. No difference from first to second visit, excellent customer service from the owner, quick wait time, best burger I've ever had. If you're in town, these are the #1 burgers to get. Me and husband visited today for the very first time, and we are so glad we did. The French fries were amazing, the burgers were a little dry but they were hot and pretty good. I think maybe a little over cooked made them dry but not where I couldn’t eat it. I will definitely be back. The staff was very friendly and although when we first walked in there was no where to sit, before they called our food out we was able to get a seat at a table. Thank you for the great service and awesome food.

WOW! Love the people (shout out to Will, thanks for the tiny duck), the food, their hearts for Jesus, just everything! Started out sharing the Angry Opossum with my husband and was humbled after two bites...is there a term for an incendiary device that goes off in your mouth? Will warned me but I had to be a showoff! My fireproof sweetie ate it and I went back and ordered an Old School burger. Also had a couple of Snakebites (don't ask, just order one. You'll love it!). Great experience. Wish we could repeat it, but are pushing west on a 3-month adventure. The memory of Muddbones will provide smiles on our trip! God bless y'all.

Ordered the Old School and fries. The burger was really good. The meat was seasoned and grilled just right. The fries just had salt and pepper, just the way I like them. Nothing beats an old-fashioned burger and fries when made well. The place gets busy, and the burgers are made to order, so prepare to wait a bit. It's worth it. There were a couple of things that I was disappointed in. The place is hot. They do have AC, but with a kitchen and a full house, it was a little too hot for me. The other problem was their food line. I'm not sure why, but 4 orders placed after mine came out before mine. I also noticed that, at times, orders were stacked and were only being called out 3-4 orders at a time. It's not a big issue unless you're hot and hungry. So maybe it was me being "hangry"? Definitely would return, just not when it's busy...if that's even possible.

Muddbones is the best burger around. This place is always busy, and it's awesome to see a small local restaurant out-do the big chains! Plus, they are Star Wars nerds, and that's always a bonus!

I used to live in Bonham and loved their burgers and rattlesnake eggs. I was in town today and stopped by to see their "new to me" place and discovered they've expanded their menu 💓. Had a burger elsewhere yesterday so I tried a bacon egg and cheese sandwich...Delicious! And, although they've expanded, the rattlesnake eggs are still as awesome as ever!

I visit Muddbones numerous times a month. It's become a tradition ever since I've moved here to Bonham. Even if you are not from the area I highly recommend coming here. The burger and other food options they offer are top tier! The prices are competitive and in my opinion reasonable. I haven't tasted a burger anywhere like Muddbones (in a good way). I can understand the high ratings and why people come here so often.

In town earlier this evening for a ballgame and it wrapped up in time for us to walk through the door of Muddbones at 7:57, which would be 3 minutes before closing. The owner was working the register and as I was going to leave with my party of eight ,because I felt it would be wrong to rush in at closing expecting them to wait on us. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and assured us they were happy to have us. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. The angry opossum burger was hot as advertised. The way we were treated went way above expectations and I plan to visit again whenever i can make an excuse too. P.S. noticed older reviews they now have delicious fries and they take cards.👍👍

Hamburgers lived up their name and the fried pickles were very good. If you don’t like a lot of breading on them, this is the side for you. French fries were seasoned well. Place was clean with clean bathrooms. Service was excellent and the food was piping hot! Great place to stop and grab a bite!

It was 8:00 PM and we had rolled up to Mudbones and thought this would be a great place to eat. Turns out Mudbones closes at 8:00 PM. Even though they were practically closed, the staff opened the door for us with open arms and still allowed us to eat. And let me tell y’all THOSE BURGERS ARE THE BEST… I couldn’t get enough. I would highly recommend this place for not only the top tier service but that banger of a burger! ;)

Best jalapeno burger I've ever had!!!

This place was so yummy and the service was excellent! My husband ordered a double spoke burger with cheese, all the fixins, jalapeños, and smoked jalapeño sauce on the side. He said it was delicious and he loved how smoky the sauce was. I ordered a double spoke burger with cheese, bacon, and all the fixins and it was super juicy and extremely flavorful. We also ordered a rattlesnake egg which is jalapeño, ground beef, and cheese in an egg roll that’s deep fried. It came with a yummy side of chipotle ranch and it was delicious!

I love this place. The burgers are excellent. I had the mushroom swiss, and it was juicy and the temperature was hot aka fresh off the grill. The fries have a seasoning on them thay bring an unexpected flavor but it is hard to see on them. Overall, tue guy taking orders is hilarious and always has something fun to say.

I decided to try this place after driving by it for the last five years. The staff is very friendly and it has a fun atmosphere. The food was good, but a bit salty for my taste. If they cut back on the salt enough that you could taste the ingredients, these burgers would be worth a long drive. I'll try this place again.
