Adorable place. Great for Mother’s Day, Girls Lunch or any reason to have a tea party. Great atmosphere and staff. Nice selection of tea and sandwiches. Adorable kids tea choices. Scones are a little more dense than I am used to. Clotted cream and lemon curd is an extra charge.

DO NOT TRUST FOR PRIVATE EVENT CATERING. I booked my event with them 2 months ago. They were quick to send me the catering info and sign me on. It was clearly communicated to me that I am booked for June 1 by the manager (Jessica). However, after COUNTLESS attempts to discuss details by email, I was finally answered by owner (JENNA) one month later that the date was not booked with her?? Even though it was with the manager months ago?? Owner Jenna confirmed that the date was still available, and I second time over confirmed my June 1 date with owner Jenna. She said she would call me to discuss details - has not called, has not answered, voicemail box is full, has not responded to an additional months worth of follow up emails. I am currently at my wits end so I turned to reviews to see if they’ve had any new reviews since their transition to home catering instead of their event space. Dana’s review from a week ago confirms that the red flags and fears I have of them blowing us off are real. They obviously don’t have it together since this transition, but are unwilling to communicate that to customers that they’ve roped in. IMMENSE WASTE OF TIME, ENERGY, and probably MONEY!! Now I am left to scramble to find an on budget TEA PARTY THEMED caterer (since our entire theme was planned around booking MTH), and hope to god the hypothetical new tea themed caterer has the same date open, 3 weeks out from event. I doubt we find one. There is a point where it goes beyond bad business and it becomes just disappointingly unkind and inconsiderate treatment of other human beings (ie ghosting all communication).

NO SHOWED to my event that I had ordered catering from them for and have since ignored me. Never returned my calls or emails. Jenna had confirmed my order and then they just didn’t show up day of. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. DO NOT TRUST THEM with your catering order or event!!

NO SHOWED to my event. Ordered catering from them over 2 months in advance and was fully confirmed by Jenna the Owner. They NO SHOWED to my event. I called and no one answered or called me back. I emailed and no one responded. I had to scramble to order last minute food to feed the entire event I was hosting. I still have not heard back from them. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. Do NOT trust them with your event.

We recently catered an event and were delighted with the quality and quantity of food. We had tea service with a variety of finger sandwiches, scones, frittatas and pastries delivered on time and beautifully arranged in trays. The teas were individually packed and had a good variety. Thank to the owner who dropped by with the food . They are a to go place for high tea👍👌

I don't think its fair to give a bad review since I've never ever talked to anyone here. Ive been trying to call for months to book a bridal shower no one ever calls me back. Even drove there but they were closed. ☹️

We celebrated my bridal shower at the Mulberry House and it was so lovely. Jenna and her team were so friendly and accommodating to our party, not to mention the food and tea were delicious! Such a cute little place for a perfect tea party 🫖🌸💕

Thanks to Jenna and her staff at the Mulberry House, our pre-wedding party for our NJ family was an amazing success!! We had some challenges planning the event from out of state, but Jenna ensured we had everything we needed and even provided an easel after ours broke on route. Please note that they don’t get down to the details until 2 weeks before the event, so my advice is to do your own thing for what you can’t plan ahead through the venue. Also the downstairs room is small but was perfect for our 16 guests (you also get the outside porch!). Jenna was so helpful with providing the best suggestions, and we got so many compliments from our guests! The menu options were fancy, plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Mulberry House for your next tea party!

We had a formal tea for a post funeral luncheon for my mother. Jenna and her team went above and beyond for our family and friends. It was a perfect end to a difficult day. Thank you so much Jenna!

Visited with a friend for a dine-in special and had a wonderful time! We enjoyed a 3-course brunch and the food was delicious and fresh. It took a bit for the tea tray to be prepped, but we also didn't feel rushed at all and enjoyed our tea and conversation while we waited. The scones were absolutely delightful! My friend requested clotted cream (I'd never had it before) and they brought some out for us. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for future weekend specials at Mulberry House!

I tried to schedule my daughter’s bridal shower for August. I am planning this shower from out of state. I called and spoke to Jessica in June. I gave her all the information and I scheduled a visit to view the tea house while I was in NJ. Jessica said I would receive the necessary paper work by email in 3 days. Friday before my scheduled visit on the following Sunday, I called again because I had not received any information and to confirm my visit on Sunday. Again all my information was taken during that phone call. My daughter and I arrived as scheduled to view the tea house. The place was locked up. My daughter called the number for the place and asked that they call me. That was in June. I still have not heard from anyone! Needless to say, we are NOT using the Mulberry House! VERY DISAPPOINTED,

I wanted to really love my experience here. My husband booked this as a Mothers Day surprise, and reading the reviews we had high exceptions. I can not rave enough about Mulberry House. I just hosted my daughter’s bridal shower there. I've been coming to Mulberry House the last three years for tea to celebrate Galentine's Day with my best friends and I hope to keep continuing that tradition! Their tea stands are fantastic: the fingers sandwiches are delicious and not just the usual cucumber ones (which they do have also if you love those!), their scones and pastries are perfection, and I always have a hard time deciding between a soup or salad because both options always look (and taste) so good. I HIGHLY recommend the Chicken Salad, Curry, Raisins & Almonds sandwich, the Ho-Sin Pork & Cucumber sandwich, and the Truffled Egg Salad sandwich. They have a very large tea menu so you'll be sure to find something that you love and they also have a tea for children which my friend's daughter has had and enjoyed. I do recommend making a reservation because it fills up quick and they do a lot of events and are closed on certain days. The staff is also all very kind and helpful. It is also BYO so make sure to bring some champagne for mimosas and/or Bellinis! Mulberry is definitely one of my favorite places to have tea and I'll be back! I cannot say enough about Mulberry House! I contacted them initially for my sister's Bridgerton-themed bridal shower and received a response from Jenna within 24 hours. Visited the Mulberry house, for the first time today, for afternoon tea. Such an elegant little place in a pretty town. From the second we arrived everything was great. They have limited outdoor seating and seating inside as well. Our waitress was wonderful. She gave us suggestions from the menu and told us the daily specials. All staff members visited our table at least once and made sure we were doing well. When the food came, it was exceptional. We got the tea for 2. We opted for the soup which was delicious and tasty.
