Great dinner and alot of fun with our family. Definitely going back there again!

This is a great place for a great experience. The whole staff were super accommodating.

We have been going to Murasaki for over 7 years now, and they have some of the best Asian food in the area. It’s great quality with a friendly and helpful staff. This is one of my family’s favorite local restaurants. I highly recommend them.

Love this place! Great hibachi and sushi. The only downside is you feel kind of rushed because of how they schedule their reservations.

The food here has been adapted to suit American preferences, often meaning dishes are sweeter and have milder spice levels compared to more traditional or authentic versions. Still good, just a lil too sweet in most dishes.

I want to leave a review about the NOT hospitality of the restaurant. My family and I, 4 people, went for dinner, a man met us at the reception and when we asked where we could sit, he said that we needed to wait 20 minutes, while 3 tables were occupied in the restaurant. to the question “why can’t we sit at a table that is empty at the moment?” the man, in a nervous and unfriendly manner, replied that this is a table for 6 people, and we need to wait to be seated in a separate corner where there is practically no distance between the tables, and people sit very close to each other since there are tables for 4 people. .. that is, with an empty restaurant hall, it is impossible to have dinner with the family in a normal environment, because their table is for 6 people!!.. seriously???!!! Is this the hospitality of Japanese cuisine?? Maybe the food here is delicious, but we weren’t able to try it because of the strange rules of the establishment... absolutely unhospitable and nervous man at the reception! That is, the restaurant’s policy is to lose 4 real visitors for the sake of 6 invisible ones?.. We had dinner at another place with nice friendly staff and great food!

I was in Stone Harbor this weekend with some friends and we came here twice. Both times the service was good, our server tonight was Debbie and she was very nice. The host was also charismatic, chatting and joking with us while we waited for the table to be ready. After getting both, I can confidently say that the hot dishes here are actually better than the hibachi experience. The hibachi was fine, but the hot dishes were flavorful, spicy, and overall more enjoyable. Our favorites were the red curry, the vegetable tom yum soup, and pad see yo. The kitchen did a good job of catering to my friends gluten allergy as well, which was appreciated! Would recommend coming here.

Fantastic restaurant! Very accommodating and have patrons interest at heart. Had an entree that was a bit too spicy and made sure we were completely satisfied with offering another entree and no additional cost. Highly recommend this restaurant sushi is outstanding!

Service was great, but the hibachi food wasn't very good. The people in our group who ordered off the regular menu were much happier with their orders. So go here, but don't do Hibachi (or maybe we were just there on an off day).

Slightly above average Hibatchi restaurant. The staff were very kind and they had great service and I really enjoy the relaxing atmosphere but my one big issue, the hibatchi steak I paid 33 dollars for was the single most bland tasting piece of steak I've ever had. I don't even understand how that's possible. Do yourself a favor and get the sushi or the hibatchi shrimp and avoid the steak dishes.

We went for a hibachi dinner and found it was very ordinary. No wonder why everyone else sat on tables. The hibachi chicken was hard and bland to say the least.

Delightful. A few years ago, we had dinner here and weren't impressed by anything. THIS TIME was a GREAT experience. Wonderful food and service. They accommodated both my husband's gluten allergy And my dairy&crustacean allergy and I didn't feel like I had to miss anything! If you haven't been there in a while... give it a try!

Food was good but a little pricey compared to other hibachi locationsI have been and the portions were smaller. The servers forget about you and you have to speak up to get their attention for more drinks etc

They were good with our gluten free requests! She was knowledgeable and they also had gluten free soy sauce! Everything was delicious!

Place is awesome! We were driving by from Deleware and stopped in dinner, very clean and good atmosphere. Looks little Dark on outside but it's a must! Sushi was superb!!

Make sure you book a reservation as they don’t treat walkins well. They had plenty of free tables but they told us to wait 15 minutes and after being told to wait by the bar with no offer of a drink we left without food

Don't let the exterior fool you. It's a converted Wendy's but the interior is totally different. Definitely suggest reservations if you're interested in the hibachi tables. There's only 6. We had food allergies at our table, not us but the waiter was attentive and thoroughly explained everything to be sure everything would be prepared correctly. Food quality and preparation was excellent. Saw some reviews claiming it to be pricey. Not at all. It's BYOB and we both ordered filet and chicken. With soup salad and shrimp appy, we paid $30 each. That same meal at Bennihana would be $37 per and not BYOB. Definitely recommend and we'll be back.

Came here with a group of 4 less than an hour before close (were the worst I know) and they could not have been more helpful or sweeter. A friend has Celiac and is gluten free and they were super careful to make sure he got the food he needed. Everything was delicious

Doesn’t say anywhere you need a reservation, but apparently you need one for the hibatchi. Had three open hibatchi tables but told us since we didn’t have one we couldn’t be sat and didn’t tell us how to make one. Waste of time and gas to get here.

Always a good spot! Consistently good!

Stopped in for a late lunch after traveling down to the area for a weekend getaway and picked items off their lunch menu. Our server was apparently new and it was obvious. It was nothing alarming or anything and it something that happens from time to time and did not effect my overall rating. I was happy to see someone from who I presume was from the kitchen come back to table and verify the order just to ensure everything was correct. We started lunch with the Thai Crispy spring rolls which came out hot and where tasty. I ordered the Thia Basil chicken which also was tasty and it comes with rice and a soup or salad. We also ordered the noodles with beef and the noodles woth vegetables. Overall it was a great meal that we thoroughly enjoyed and us a place we return to whenever we are down in the area. We did not try the hibachi, but based on food quality, I'm sure it is a win as well. Murasaki is a minutes off Exit 9 on the Garden State Parkway close to the Wildwood's, Cape May, and Stone Harbor area and while a bit off the beaten path, is a nice break from all the hustle that is often found in the tourist area where crowds are all to common. Murasaki is a solid spot and someplace worth checking out.

I frequent Murasaki s say at least once or twice a month maybe more, and the reason being is we never had a bad meal, Staff is very friendly, and what also is real nice, as soon as you get seated which usually right away, waiter or waitress brings your salad, soup and drink right away 😀 highly recommend it!!

This is the best hibachi in cape may county. Food is great, service is great, and it is clean. The decor is a little plain but thats me being super nit-picky. Hibachi show is always fun.

I can't say enough great things! Food was excellent, service was perfect and not intrusive, lovely restaurant. It's a BYOB, very relaxing and prices are reasonable. Soup was just okay but I really enjoyed the salad ( surprising). I literally give this restaurant high recommendations whenever I am asked and sometimes when I'm not! 😂

Midweek meal was great. Music a low but understandable since not many people at the establishment. Good was excellent and fresh. A bit pricey but delicious. Worth it.

Absolutely love this place, have been coming to both locations for many years. (We are locals) Food is always delicious! Eating in or taking out they never disappoint. From the amazing flavors to the presentation of the sushi rolls to the different style entrees, what’s not to love? It’s BYOB! The owner is always super nice and welcoming.

Murasaki's brick exterior doesn't reveal the wonderful ambiance it has. The food is very good: sushi, Thai food and Japanese. I love Hibachi and they have it for lunch for 15-18 dollars; what a deal! I appreciate the immediate attention from the polite servers. Murasaki...you are a pearl!

Did the hibachi for a little "dinner and a show" atmosphere. Was amazing. Chef was talented and didn't just go through the motions. First hibachi chef to ever get zucchini into my mouth. Food was absolutely amazing and prefectly prepared. We will 100% be back again and again.

One of the best places to eat, never disappointed

I ordered take out over the phone. Staff was very helpful with working around some food sensitivities. The food was prepared by the time I arrived. The meat in my dish (beef teriyaki) was cooked exactly how I requested. This is a good restaurant to stop by if you are in the area.

1st time visit to Murasaki for sons birthday dinner. Small restaurant (converted Wendy's) but the inside is well configured with bother sjt down tables, and 3 Hibachi grill tables. Food was Incredible, the quality cuts on the beef and seafood were well above other places of this type restaurant (think Sakura....). Definitely a fair priced and high quality dinner. It is a BYOB so feel free to bring an adult beverage of your choice.

Was able to call at 5:45pm for 6:00pm reservations. They do guarantee your seats until 10 minutes after your reservation time which is pretty nice! Upon arriving, we were seated immediately and I noticed how clean the restaurant was. The bathrooms were clean was well! Once seated, we placed our order with the waitress while waiting for another family to be seated. They have a full menu for dinners and appetizers, but we opted for hibachi. The chef put on an amazing little show before cooking the food! The service was great and the food was even better! What an amazing experience at Murasaki my family and I had. Murasaki is just a short 15 minute drive from the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ. Well worth the drive for such a great experience, service and food. You will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately they are short staffed currently so the hibachi tables are not opened. They are still serving hibachi, though. However the waiter can be a little stern and watch out, they close the kitchen at 9 30pm so you have to be sure to get there before 9pm. They don't serve Thai iced tea which is a bummer. In addition the menu online is not at all updated so you don't really know the options unless you get there. The Yellow Curry with tofu is vegetarian and tastes really good. There's a great helping of vegetables in it! However getting "medium" is not really that spicy at all, I am used to far higher levels of spice. Overall it's good.

Interesting Restaurant serving a variety of Asian cuisines. We had the Japanese chicken soba noodles & the the Pad Thai, as takeout. Both were delicious. Flavorful and great value for the money as each included soup & salad with the entree. Has become one of our “go to” spots for Asian cuisine. We stay in Stone Harbor & drive to CMCH to patronize this restaurant.

We had high hopes for this place. The veggie spring rolls were good but the pad see ew was the most tasteless dish I ever had. Literally no flavor whatsoever. My husband got the buckwheat noodles and those had a little flavor but overall terrible as well.

Their sushi rolls are some of my favorites on the east coast. The torched cilantro yellowtail is my favorite. When I lived down there, I would crave it all the time. Now, I get it every time I am in the area. Can’t miss.

My family and I stopped in wanting hibachi. They told us hibachi seating was not open at the time but it was still on the menu. I opted for the filet mignon hibachi and was happy with it and the portions were good. I also ordered a yellow tail roll which I shared. We thought the ginger dressing on our house salads was the best we've had. Fried cheesecake and a fried ice cream was a good ending that the four of us shared. I would like to say the wait staff was great. Our waiter knew the right things to suggest to my youngest and we appreciated the extra attention.

We went to this restaurant because while shopping someone said that this was a great spot. I'm glad we took their advice because WOW it was good!!! I wanted a roll with jalapenos but didn't see anything but they made me something up special. The rolls were all spectacular. The staff was funny and attentive. We will DEFINITELY be back!!! (They also had hibachi, but we didn't have that.)

Their lunch special is Bang for your buck. I never ordered the hibachi or the sushi. Loved the Thai food (yes its spicy and flavorful if you're into that spectrum of Asian flavours)

Enjoyed the sushi lunch special here. For about $13 received 2 rolls, salad, and soup. Fish quality was quite fresh. The salad tasted fresh too. Food came out very fast too : 10-15 minutes. Indoor dining was open for lunch but I decided to get my good to-go. Very clean restaurant and nice decor.

We wanted hibachi and was told the chef quit so they did not have the hibachi table cooking. We were able to order it from the kitchen instead. Food was ok but not quite what we expected. Best to call first if you are looking for that true hibachi experience

This is one of our go to favorite places and has been ever since they opened. My kids used to pick it for their birthday dinners. We also order often for lunch during the week. The food is good the staff is pleasant, the restaurant is clean, and the hibachi is a sight to see. I gave them so much credit for persevering through the Covid shut downs with their limited staff and still servicing the area. Great people!

Headed home from Cape May and we spotted this place so we decided to try it. Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious! Only about an hour from our house so will definitely go when we are in the area.

My first time there and was so pleased with everything. I entered using a walker ( broken leg) and immediately was assisted to my table . I was then asked if there was anything they could do to make me more comfortable! My sushi was so fresh, the fried calamari was tender. Everything that was ordered was so tasty Service was above reproach. There was never a rush to bring the next course but they were very attentive Going back tomorrow for dinner!
