Mustard's Last Stand 1288 N. Harbor City Blvd. Eau Gallie, FL 32935 3 Stars (local chain review) Intrinsically tied to my love for America's Pastime (baseball, not identity politics) is my love of Germany's greatest contribution to civilization: the frankfurter, more commonly known as the hot dog. Originating in Frankfurt, Germany, these delectable sausages have been around since the early 13th Century. Starting with the coronation of Holy Roman Emperor Max 2 a hot dog was given to the people in the event of an imperial crowning. Craving a dog, like a Grampus craves seals, I headed to the Eau Gallie location of Mustard's Last Stand (the name alone is worthy of 2 Stars). My conundrum today was going to be how does one rate a hot dog? The best damn dog I ever consumed was a Sabrett's in 1987. This guy had a cart in Canova Beach (there's a lost name) when I was a deputy and stopped to get a dog. One bite and I was hooked. The second best I've ever had was an Original Nathan's. I've just named two of the top four brands out there, the other two being Vienna All Beef and Hebrew National. The help today was outstanding. Both Trenton and Xavier were busting their respective tucheses. To mix it up a bit, I had to go with the Chicago Hot Dog and one Roast Beef Sandwich. My order was up in no time, and I got to work. One bite in, and I knew this dog was not one of the four mentioned above, or if it was, it was past its prime. It was, however, cooked properly and served in the traditional Chicago style—poppy Seed bun, peppers, green relish, fresh tomatoes, onions, dill pickle, and celery salt. The bun was fresh and warm. This would have been better had the base sausage been of higher quality. The Roast Beef Sandwich, while tasting fine had that rainbow slime on it that beef products get three days before it goes bad. The execution was outstanding and the flavors were there; however, I can't score it higher due to the meat situation. The Big Boy says, “If you are craving a meat stick, this ain't a bad place to meet that need.”

So many great dog options and topping combos and they are all available as impossible veggie dogs. The prices are great the food was amazing and fast and I love the space and music. Will be back any time I’m in the area, no doubt.

Disappointing! Not what it used to be

Hot dogs are GREAT, it was a nice day to sit outside and eat, but traffic on Rt 1 is a downer.

This is the ideal place for anyone who loves hot dogs. They have everything you could think of to put on a hot dog and several you would not even imagine. All of the ingredients are fresh, the prices very reasonable, and the people working there are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Lucky I got a pic. This is one of the best stops in Florida. Each stop brings a new experience and one same experience. The rule here is try a different dog each time. And always order the potato pancakes. Don't forget to get a picture as the mustard or the ketchup. Tip the staff. And drink as much pineapple creamsoda as you can

Order are prepared after you request them, this assures the best experience and I've never had a bad French fry here. EVERY hot item is hot and fresh, every cold item, crisp and delicious. Best hot dogs in Florida.

The impossible veggie dog with veggie chilli and cheese was on point. I opted for nonvegan cheese (FYI). The veggie dogs have come a long way to being quite realistic that my wife who eats meat did not initially believe me!!

One of my all time favorite places, I had the kielbasa and sour trout, my husband had the Charlie dog.

For those of us that love a Chicago style hot dog there are not many places we can go to hear in Brevard county Mustard's Last Stand thankfully offers us to locations where we can get Chicago hot dogs and even a nice you cargo beef sandwich On this trip I ordered one of my favorites a jumbo dog. It may sound crazy but I prefer the hot dog to condiment ratio that i enjoyed on the larger hot dog So if you're from the Midwest and crave a hot dog head over and see the girls at Musterds Last Stand

It's kinda a dive, but in a good way. If you want a quick hotdog or sausage, it will definitely do. Great selection, quick food, great prices! Definitely a fun stop.

It was exactly as expected. Quick friendly service, themed hot dogs, and good french fries. My mom forgot her purse, and they put it behind the counter for safe keeping, we really appreciated their kindness.

I just came in and got the junkyard fries that I get everytime I’m here and the chilli tasted a little off so I brought them back up with only one bite taken out and the lady with colored hair told me there was nothing she could do to replace them the lady in the back was being rude telling me to order something else if I didn’t like it I come here all the time and now i probably won’t be returning to this establishment not until i get my money back for 8$ fries that were thrown in the trash by your employees is absolutely crazy.

The hotdogs themselves were small and not great. Bun and toppings were OK. You'll do better at Costco. I didn't like the garlic fries either 😞 The service and atmosphere was great.

This is one of my favorite spots in Brevard County and my friends always want to go here when they visit me.

Beyond upset. I ordered the veggie hot dog with veggie chili. They were good enough to give me the veggie chili, but a regular meat hot dog. As soon as I took one bite I knew immediately the hot dog was not vegetation. My husband, who got a real hot dog, tasted it and said it definitely was not vegetation too. I brought it back up to the counter and they said "oh sorry, we'll make you a new one." I declined it, of course, and requested my money back. They gave it back to me, but honestly I've been a vegetation for over 30 years and just giving me back my $4 is not adequate. Giving me back the whole bill, or coupons for a future visit would have gone a long way. Beyond mad and disgusted right now.

Tried this place for the first time and yes the food here is very good. Will be going back. The hotdogs were phenomenal. The staff were very nice. Prompt service and great selection of food items

My family loves Mustard's!! We've been going here for years and it never disappoints. There is something for everyone on the menu and everything is so good! Great atmosphere, good service, and great food. My husband's family demands a visit to Mustard's when they come from out of state. Can't recommend this place enough!

Stopped in here to try the place and was not let down. Ordered 2 dogs, the garlic fries and 1/2 fries & 1/2 onion rings. The buns on the dogs were soft and tastee. The dogs were perfectly cooked. The fries were awesome, tasted great and the portion size was perfect. Will go back again and try something new.

We always enjoy the variety of dogs they have, especially the fun and unique specials. They also have great shoe string fries with multiple toppings available. Great place to grab lunch or bring out of town guests to for a fun unique Melbourne experience.

Myself and my wife went to musters last stand it's very good you been going back but every other week stop in had a couple of hot dogs and enjoy them we'll keep going back people that work there are great

It's hard for me to get too excited about hot dogs, but here we are. I live about an hour south of Mustard's, but any time I visit Melbourne this is one of my favorite places to eat. They absolutely do it right. The buns, the dogs, the fries, all exceptional. The staff is always friendly. Places like this are why I haven't had a big Mac in 25 years.

This is a delightful hot dog stand. My brother in law drove me here 19 years ago. He loves hot dogs 🌭. I love them as well. The poppy seed bun is steamed to perfection 🥰. Slaw on top of 🐕, is the best slaw dogs I've ever placed in my mouth. As I describe this culinary art form, my brain is relaying to my mind: I need a slaw dog from Mustards Last Stand. Sweet tea, too!

Just a totally great place with outstanding food and a cool atmosphere. Great dog friendly porch as well! Highly recommend checking out this place that has a unique vibe versus the chain restaurants in the area.

I called ahead as they can get busy. My order was ready soon after I got there. The hot dogs were hot and delicious. The curly fried were great also. They had several different vegan options also.

Had Chicago style dog and KC fries. Amazing! Can't wait to go back and try another one of the 1000 different options

Tiny hot dog stand located just off US 1. Large variety of hot dogs and sides .. very reasonably priced. Great atmosphere with tables inside and two patios. Counter service. Food is made fresh and served hot. High quality, tasty hot dogs. Snoop Dog .. cheese, bacon, jalapeño and onion rings. So good !! Onion rings are large .. crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Shoestring fries are perfectly done. Definitely a new favorite spot when visiting Florida.

I consider myself pretty picky about onion rings...usually I have to drench them in ranch. These were so good I ate them plain! Hot dogs were pretty good...nice fresh bun, temperature of hotdogs was hot!...I hate luke warm dogs. Fries weren't the best I've had but were better than average. Elderberry cider they had on tap was terrific! Check it out!

The beef was 10 dollars the tamale was 2 bucks. Looks like they took a frozen tamale and put it in a microwave and tasted like it. Fresh look like they have been sitting there for awhile the fresh were 4 bucks. So over 17 bucks with no drink. Drove frome satellite Beach. I would not recommend Mustards. Vienna beef it is not I grew up on the beef sandwich coming from Chicago it's a long way from a Chicago beef. Buyer beware

Go outside the norm to try something new. For me it was a Chicago with a jumbo dog. Delicious! Quick stop, friendly staff.

Consistently good food, drinks, prices and service regardless of which location I've been to. Highly recommended for a good quality, creatively topped hot dog, and the sides are always great.

They serve delicious hot dog, with shoestring style fries and some other sides. Lot of different flavors to choose from for the hot dogs. The portions are good and they're very reasonably priced. Restaurant is decorated with a bunch of license plates. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Definitely recommend!

So this was the 6th time that I've eaten there. I got two slaw dogs 🐕 2 go and after choking the 1st down. I went back and gave them the other one back.

As hotdogs 🌭 go, this place is pretty good. I had a foot long with sauerkraut and onions, a chili dog with onions and fries. All tasted very good. I, personally, prefer my dogs done on an open fire grill so you can char it a bit... but that is the only thing that could have made this a better experience for me. Charming little shop with dine in or outside options as well as a drive up window... you can even walk in and get it to go. Have a go for yourselves and bring the kids.

Great local hot dog palace! We always have good service and great food here. The specialty sodas are always a hit with the kids. The portions are huge and the price is more than reasonable.

If your a local you already know. Best dogs, brauts, and sausage anywhere. I recommend the Ditka with kraut and spicy mustard. Only complaint is the fries not up to par for me. I tried with cheese and with chili and cheese and I could do without the fries going forward.

Neat little eclectic roadside stand that offers hot dogs and a little more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dog wasn't bad, I wish that I had known that their rolls have poppy seeds on them since I can't have seeds in my diet. The atmosphere was..'okay'. The inside was decorated cute with very many references to Chicago. The inside dining area is small but there is outside dining available, which I chose. The passing traffic was unbelievable and near unbearable. Loud exhausts and drag racing from the nearby traffic light seem to be the norm and accepted. It helped to ruin the experience. Would I stop again? Maybe, maybe not. I suppose if nothing else were open, I might.

The variety of different combinations of hotdogs and fries is mind boggling. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. Not your regular hotdog stand. Way better 😁 4 star just because it can get loud outside. But I love watching the Hot rods drive by.

That was the best hotdog I've had in Florida! 100% recommend! I had the junkyard dog, and it was great! Portions were actually surprising for the price as well! They don't skimp out on fries. A must-have if you're in the area and are hungry.

First time here as a newbie to the area and I tell ya there will be more. Great hotdog, soft buns, perfect ratio of toppings to bun and dog. I cannot stress that part enough. Very impressed. They have options galore, so don’t let they menu intimidate you. Next trip we are trying the beef sandwich; so I’ll let you know when that happens.

I got a dog with New York onions sauerkraut brown mustard and relish the New York onions did not taste like New York onions at all. I also got a Chicago dog which I never had eaten before it was okay. And I ordered the potato pancakes they were tater tots definitely not potato pancakes.
