This family owned and operated restaurant is one of our most frequently visited when in Fort Myers, primarily because the authentic Greek food is excellent, as are the service and pleasant family atmosphere. I particularly enjoy their various salads, which are large and contain very fresh ingredients. Parking is free and reservations are accepted. Go on a Friday evening and enjoy a fine belly dancer performance in addition to a great meal.

Greek restaurant located on Mcgreggor boulevard in the Big Lots plaza. The outside of the restaurant looks a little plain. Indoor, is somewhat more pleasant. There was no wait time when we arrived. The restaurant was rather empty. The service person was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu offers many options for appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts and drinks. Kids menu is available, although I wish they could offer more options with veggies for kids. Authentic Greek beer is also available. I had no complaints about the food taste nor freshness. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meals as well. The place is clean and roomy ( offering one big room with many tables). Prices are not exaggerated, and food portions are decent. If I have a chance I will gladly go back for a taste of Greek food.

Ordered takeout from Uber Eats. Did not get what we ordered. When we tried to call to talk to the restaurant phones are not answered.

Dined in twice, ordered out 4 times. Each time, I’m reminded of how good food should actually taste. So full I have to lay down to write this review and still have half of my Greek Mix Grill and hummus left for later 😁. Also, this is written by a very picky eater 👍

First time customer. I eat alot of Greek food, unfortunately it’s very tough to find good Greek in SWFL. Until now. Our food was outstanding. Maybe the best Tzatziki sauce I’ve ever had. I was treated like family, they get customer service. Just exceptional all the way around.Everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. They gained a new customer who loves Greek and has no problem spending. Great job

Ordered from DoorDash. Absolutely disgusting. It’s like, if someone had decided to open a greek restaurant, but never tried greek food. Wish I would’ve never wasted my money.

I am so happy we ate here. The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. It has been a long time since I had as good a Mediterranean food as this. The Gyro's are great and the flafel was superb. We really liked the atmosphere as well. We will be coming back!!!!

Very authentic Greek Mediterranean! We decided to stop here on the drive home through Ft. Myers and everyone loved the food. Great options on Kids menu, they loved the chicken skewers! Lamb Gyro, the Lamb Shank, and chicken skewers were all on point. Great service, and great flavors! Will definitely stop again when we are in the area!

Our new favorite restaurant! We were heartbroken when Ian took Plaka from us, but Mythos is just as good, if not better! Excellent, excellent, excellent!

Saganaki cheese tasted like fried pecorino Parmesan. Not sure if they ran out of kasseri ? Or even halloumi cheese and tried to pass it off? Terrible. Lemon rice soup. Meh. Pastisio. Omg. Grandma would kill me if I served that!!!

Not even sure where to begin! Monday evening we walked in excited to try as a customer of mine finer here. Having my bestie in from out of town & one of our favorites is Greek! We ordered an appetizer of Spinach pie, 1 Greek salads & a combo meat platter that consisted of get meat, chicken & pork, with pita slices& tomato & sliced onion. When the platter was delivered it didn’t look at all like the picture we had previously saw, but that wasn’t where it ended. Our first bite of gyro meat was extremely small & thin pieces, and very dry, our first bite of cubed meat was extremely dry & crusty on the outside. We waited for a few minutes to get our server’s attention to let her know. She brought a plate so we could put all the charred dried meat on the plate so she could take it back to the kitchen. About 5 or 6 minutes later a plate with 5 pieces of meat come out on a wooden stick … if definitely was freshly cooked and moist, just no flavor. But what about the pork that was also taken away? Never received that back! About 15 minutes later the server popped back over & we just asked for a small container & our check. When she returned I informed her that truly this was the worst Greek we’ve ever had, her reply was “I’ll let her know”, and walked off. We put $60 in the check book and when she returned only $4 change was put back in? My girlfriend when up to the counter & informed her that the correct change was not returned. Within a few minutes she walked to our table & dropped it on our table walking off. The owner then walked over t inquiring about our dinner. She informed me her food is good, and that chicken needs to be cooked ( yes it does, no question there) just not dry & hard as a hockey puck! She said I made fresh, I said yes she did and it was fine much better just no taste, or seasoning. But we never received any pork back and that was given back as well because of the dry consistency. Apparently she didn’t quite understand that all of the meat was sent back. At the end she asked us if we wanted to take anything home, at that point we were done. I would say there’s very many other Greek restaurants that I would definitely choose over this one. As for the server she was tipped more than 25% even with her crummy attitude at the end. Ciao! WE TOLD YOU & YOUR SERVER, and as a previous restaurant owner… before anything leaves your kitchen you should always make sure it’s your best! You could just look at all the meats and know they were not freshly prepared, and extremely dry & over cooked these items were! Sorry but we will not return or we will not refer anyone to your establishment! Fresh is always better & truly it takes minutes to sauté up little chunks of meat!

This was INCREDIBLE!! My family and I travel all the time and this restaurant has been one of the best meals we have ever had!! The atmosphere was calming and clean!! The people were so kind and gracious!! And the food was out of this world!! It was delightful, it was fresh, it was the perfect serving sizes and the prices were totally reasonable!! If you are in the area - you need to go!! And when we come back to Fort Myers, we will definitely be going back!!

This gem is in a strip mall with several thrift stores - once inside you'll be in a clean & well appointed restaurant with excellent service and fantastic food - you won't regret it! Everything on our lunch plates was fresh & very tasty.

This place is legit. High end Greek cuisine at reasonable prices (And yes, there is such a thing). It's our new favorite restaurant in Florida. Saganaki is fantastic. Try the octopus (succulent to say the least). Also the lamb shank. It's so tender. And if you don't eat meat, try the Fish a le Mythos. Seriously one of the best meals our family has ever had!!!

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal here. Our server was knowledgeable and patient as we explored the menu and gave us a heads up that the PSARAKI SITI SXARA (whole red snapper) would take about 30 mins to prepare. It was worth the wait and we definitely recommend!

Pork kabobs were very tough, dried out and hard to chew. Could not eat it.

What a delicious greek cuisine experience! We had the stuffed grape leaves to start, which were perfect and the greek fries were spot on with their seasoning. We also had the Gyro platter, which was awesome. We left stuffed and happy. Also want to give a shout to our delightful server Eden!

Very good fresh food, nice people. Had the lamb gyro and it was delicious! I will be back to try other dishes. The iced tea was real brewed tea!

Four of us shared a wonderful meal, starting with an appetizer of Greek cheese in filo drizzled in honey, served with warm pita bread- amazing! Everyone was moaning in pleasure as we dug into our delicious entrees. My daughter and I each ordered a shrimp dish, which we shared, one with pasta, another with rice and I can't say which was more delicious. They were both so flavorful and complex and we took home plenty for lunch as the portions were huge. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is newly decorated, clean and fresh. I would eat here again in a heartbeat and I certainly will next time I'm in Fort Myers. I have been to Greece and this food is the genuine article- Run, don't walk, to get yourself a fabulous meal!

I absolutely love this place!!!! The food is fantastic!!! The atmosphere is good… and it’s perfect for a luncheon with friends or a dinner party the food is out of this world!!! I actually plan on eating there at least once a month!!!

We had an amazing experience on valentines day. Our server was amazing and the food was delicious!! We can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu. Try the Melitzanes. You won't be disappointed!

The food was all delicious and good portions. Waitress did a great job. Restaurant and bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. This is a great place to eat.

The star of the show was the Greek Salad.it had a creamier dressing than most places, and was so good we bought some to take home. Chicken souvlaki platter was excellent.

Love the food...delicious Nice clean atmosphere ...obviously family oriented because the owners children are there.... But the service....leaves a lot to be desired... I believe there must only be 1 person cooking/preparing the food! This was our second time there...it is my last We arrived 2 hours before we needed to be at a performance at Players circle...thinking we had plenty of time....it took an hour to get our food.& i had to ask for it...same excuse as our first visit..." sorry, we got kinda busy".....what a shame because the food IS delicious!

We has gyros as take-out. All I can say is WOW! Authentic gyros, with fries. Both were excellent. I also ordered a dessert, Galaktoboureko, which not only looks delicious, but tastes AMAZING! We are looking forward to our next visit, where we will dine "in". Not sure if they have a liquor license, but the FOOD is very good!

The best Greek restaurant in Fort Myers! Service is exceptional! The food is delicious and well priced. We’ve been going to this restaurant for over 12 years and NEVER had a bad meal! Very clean and enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend it, once you’ve been and tried it - I guarantee you’ll be hooked and return on a regular basis. Everything on the menu is delicious and so tasty. When I say tasty, I mean not over salted or over sauced like other restaurants but through the use of simple spices. Oh and by the way Friday evening is an entertainment night - belly dancer night! Fun evening to enjoy while having your meal… 🥰😋

I love the food here. I had the souvlaki with chicken skewer. Everything was tasty! We also had the cabbage rice wraps (I forget what they’re called). They were fabulous too! Service was good and food came quick. The only thing I’d change is the decor. It’s just really plain and simple. It would be cool if it had more greek vibes!

This place impressed me so much that I took the time to write a review on Google, which I literally never do. The place looks small from the outside, but it’s charming with the lights and the arch shaped architecture. When you get inside, the decor blows you away. The color pattern is very calming and relaxing and the Greek decor is very beautiful. The place is very welcoming and the atmosphere is very positive and vibrant. It’s a joy to just be in there. The waitress was very kind and attentive. The food was outrageously good. It’s probably the most flavorful Gyro I have ever had. The saganaki and spanikopita were also delicious! I expected to pay an arm and a leg, but the prices were super affordable! If perfect restaurants existed, this would be it. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Fort Myers area!

Wow! Just Wow! The food is amazing at this place. We ate octopus that was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My daughter and I shared this dinner for two option and it was enough to feed 4. We left full and had so many bags it looked like we went grocery shopping. My wife had lamb and it too was phenomenal. The server Johanna was great. She was attentive but not overwhelming. She timed everything perfect so that we had a chance to sit back and enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. This place is amazing. It’s in a strip mall and seems unassuming, but I would highly recommend if you like Greek. My only criticism is the ambience, but with food and service like this, who needs a fancy picture on the wall to look at. 10 Stars. Check them out.

It was amazing!! My friend and I went and our server Joanna was the sweetest and most funniest server! She was so amazing and made this experience so welcoming for my first time. As for the food, it was amazing as well, so authentic and fresh and I loved it, the gyro is very well managed and the meat very tasty and soft as it should be! Will be coming back soon!
