Namaste North is a wonderful hidden gem in downtown Anchorage. Sandy teaches the best classes I’ve had the pleasure of taking in Alaska. Highly recommend!

I had the blessing of being in the 2nd cohort of Sandy’s Mandala Yoga teacher training in 2020. What an amazing experience. I learned so much. It was healing to focus on breath, movement, philosophy and anatomy during the pandemic. I am forever changed and will take her classes for ever. #gratitude #love

My favorite place to do yoga...great mix of classes and styles; perfect for beginner and advanced. Sandy is a wonderful deep teacher...I always leave a class feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Wonderful small restaurant with delicious healthy food and great service. Very handy to downtown hotels. Willing to efficiently accommodate small group lunch meetings with advance notice.

This studio has amazing balance of high vibes and down-to-earth. It enriches the downtown community with a vegan cafe that makes a great hangout spot for those working nearby. One can tell the conscientious effort put into every detail: the space, the teachers, the food, and, foremost, the owner, Sandy’s own yoga practice. And, I just read that she will be offering teacher training, which will no doubt make the world a better place :)

We are visiting from Seattle and were looking for an authentic yoga studio. We found it! Wonderful breath-guided lunch class. Highly recommended to come to your center.

Wonderful community here. I have been going to Namaste for 2 years after searching around anchorage for a studio that was a good fit after having been out of the practice for some time. The owner /instructor is a fantastic lady who offers lots of workshops throughout the year, taught by some really amazing visiting instructors, also travel excursions in Alaska and overseas. All levels are taught here, as well as, the only Ashtanga class I have found in Anchorage in many years. love it here

I've been going to this studio for years - it hosts great teachers and classes for all levels. I had never practiced yoga before and learned the foundations through the beginner series classes. The atmosphere is very peaceful, personal, and cozy. The food is also great! Lots of delicious, healthy vegetarian options. Recently I attended a yoga for nutrition class which was paired with a cooking lesson - super delightful.

LOVE this place! I was brand new to yoga, and I am so glad I ended up here! Great atmosphere, no judgement whatsoever. You learn a lot about the history and roots of yoga. Sandy is amazing, and extremely helpful. She gives gentle corrections when needed, and is very encouraging. It has been a good choice, being new to yoga. The cafe/boutique is adorable, and gives the place a very cozy atmosphere. All props and mats are free to use. Plus, there's a beautiful mountain range in view right as you walk out the door! I would definitely recommend Namaste North.

Exactly what I needed. I just dropped in while laid over at the airport. Gonna do that again. Wonderful instructor also!

If you are looking to find your breath, stretch and feel good, this is an exceptional yoga studio. Smaller class sizes are a benefit compared to some of the other studios I've been to in Anchorage. All the instructors are mindful and positive; you'll love it! They will all make you wish you had discovered this studio a long time ago. Between 3rd and 4th street across the road from the Saturday Market. If you find the Hilton you are down the street - It's on E. Om - smiling Djh

This is not a public Dunkin Donuts. It is on the West Creek Capital One campus and you cannot access it unless you are an employee.
