Cramped quarters for starters. Our server Emily was awesome. The others were just blasé ( the one who brought the appetizers must have been having a bad night-asked her for plates for apps and she blew us off)The food was severely undercooked after 3 times sending it back. Just wanted a burger medium well and it looked raw inside each time it was bought out. This is the last time we go here and do not recommend it to anyone.

This is my favorite Friday spot. Nikalette at the bar curates a perfect beer list with nearly 50 taps! Come in for great appetizers or the best burger in town.

A gem in Hooksett! One of my favorites to visit. The staff is impeccable, always so friendly and attentive. Whether it’s an appetizer or meal, the food is delicious! Highly recommended!

I've been here multiple times. At first it was delicious. Over time it seems like quality has gone down a little. I have tried the chicken tenders at least 3 times and each time they have been severely overcooked and dry...kept hoping they'd get better, but after the 3rd time I was done with those. Recently I went with family and I got the fried pickles...those were extra crunchy which made them a little unappetizing. My sister in law got the marinated steak tips, they were cooked well, but the marinate seemed like it didn't sit long enough to actually season the meat. Last visit my Reuben bread was too crispy so I mostly ate just the meat. Within the last 7 months I have been a little disappointed with quality and consistency, not sure what changed. The serves have always been awesome and friendly so no complaints there.

Went here this past weekend to grab a beer before a movie. After movie we meet up with a couple of friends and had a bite to eat. The food and cocktails were very good. Will definitely be back when in the area.

The food is clearly designed by a master in culinary arts. There is no ac, so be prepared to sweat. Avoid it when students are in town as the line is 30 deep. While the food is amazing and worth the cost, the draft list is over priced, if not well curated. Street parking only.

Everything was excellent. On the hottest day of the year. Thanks to the kitchen staff, we were able to enjoy family.

I like this place but it's a hit or a miss overall. The prices are high- easily walking out of there spending $100 or more if you get drinks, an app, and a meal for 2. The drinks are TINY so you easily go through one quickly. The selection is great though. My seafood risotto was $30, which yes, seafood can be on the higher side for prices but this did not taste fresh - very very chewy and very very dry shrimp... The risotto was also crunchy. Poutine was delicious, not the first time I've ordered it here and probably won't be the last.

Awesome food with gluten free options! I ordered a burger well done and it came as close to raw as a restaurant can serve, basically still cold. Even my boyfriend who doesn't mind rare meat was shocked. I told the waitress and she was very accommodating and put a rush on a new burger. The second one was perfect although by the time it came out my boyfriend was pretty much done with his food. All in all I would definitely recommend this place, the nice staff, the atmosphere, and food were all excellent!

Expensive, loud and the doors are not handicap operational that I noticed. The mix of seating has those terribly high stools that make my knees uncomfortable (just saying) and the food which is cooked fresh takes time to prepare, plate, and to be served 45 minutes plus. I do not have that kind of time. The bartenders are nice for the most part. Updated--- I went to a function this past weekend which was nice and it looked really expensive 🫰 AND they threw out all of the food rather than let anyone take a Togo box home Omg just really?? I do not know what to say...so in the two seconds before it is whisked away it is still ok, but then it isn't fit for consumption? Hmmm...?

What we ordered was not what we were expecting. Beer was good.

2 out of 4 and first timers! The service was excellent! Beers were cold! Nachos were delicious! 2 meals out of 4 were on point! 2 Baked Stuffed Haddock were delish with Brussel sprouts and rice. The special Asian Salad ordered with Steak Tips, came out with steak ice cold 🤷‍♀️ reheated but really!?? Caesar Salad Wrap with chicken had no taste! No caeser dressing or croutons and chicken had absolutely no flavor!!! Sweet Potatoes

Ordered the cowboy burger, it was good. Ordered a regular cheeseburger with tomato and lettuce, medium well, hand cut fries. And a side of Mac and cheese as I read great reviews on it. Cowboy burger was what was expected. Hand cut fries were great. Cheeseburger...well that's another story. Ordered med well. The meat was so hard I had to cut the edges off with a steak knife and gave to dog. The bun was very hard almost like it was stale. Tomato was hard not fully ripe. Mac and cheese was ok although we have had better. Mac and cheese was filling as they reported.

Our food came out cold, Dring had way too much ice, For $14 one will expect to have a larger amount of drink… The risotto I had was OK, For $30 It was not as meaty.. Definitely not a place to remember.

As always, another wonderful experience at our favorite place. We started with fried pickles, I got the BOM (fiesta burger at the time), my daughter tried their flames of passion drink and lobster roll, and my wife got the stuffed haddock. All were delicious. Our server Jess H was very attentive and took very good care of us.

Both of the times I have dined in have been an excellent experience. The servers I had Emily C and Lindsay were both rockstars. Super knowledgeable about the menu & both had great recommendations for me and my family. Nachos are a smash hit!

Have gone here a few times before watching a movie at the local theater. Worked out perfectly.

We love it it at The Tap House and always have a great time thanks to the incredible bartender, Nikalette. Her warmth and skill behind the bar always makes for a memorable experience. Nikalette not only served drinks but also engaged us with her vibrant personality and genuine interest in making sure we always have a fantastic time. Her attention to detail and personalized service truly sets her apart. We'll be returning to The Tap House for the delightful company of Nikalette!

I went yesterday for a late lunch / early dinner. I had oysters from the raw bar - delicious! And the pork belly tacos with a margarita- again the food was fantastic! Our waitress Emily was very friendly, and did a great job taking care of us.

Best Putine I've had in 25 years. Great service. Great food. definitely coming back.

French onion soup was great. One son had meatloaf with lager sauce, other had steak tips with same sauce both said was taste less and under seasoned. I had baked stuffed haddock also under seasoned. Service was great though!

Agree with the other reviewer about the rude bartender. Food took a long time to get to us. Was not hot when it arrived. Greasy and bland.

The atmosphere is really fun and you can see some of the brewing process equipment. They have a decent beer selection and good pub food options. Our waitress was great! Would definitely recommend the fried squeaky cheese as well as the potato rounds.

I found a seat 🪑 at the bar 🍺. The first hostess or bartender was unpleasant especially when she handed me a menu. I had another hostess who was much more friendly. I had the Margarita Flatbread and a French Onion 🧅 soup 🍲. Both were good 👍 though the soup was average in flavor. The price to portion was fair. Other than the initial service, which did improve, the price of a ginger beer 🍺 was outrageous! $6 for one ginger beer?! I could have gone to the store and bought a carton for that price! I wasn't able to access the guest WiFi but maybe it was my phone 📱 that had the problem. There are plenty of widescreen TVS to watch sports. I'm on the fence about recommending this restaurant

When we arrived the restaurant was fairly busy and there was about a 20 minute wait. After we were seated it was about 20 minutes before our server arrived and took our drink order. It was an additional 15 minutes before our beers arrived and we placed our meal order. My wife ordered the baked haddock and I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. It took quite some time for the food to arrive. The haddock was tasty but dry. The salad came with no dressing on it so I had to wait for our server to come back to ask for some. The grilled chicken was cold which did not enhance the salad. The prices are not low which makes it even more disappointing that the quality of food was not up to par.

The beer was awesome. I had sea dog blue berry, tasted amazingly fresh and ice cold. The menu was definitely different, not your average pub style food. Nothing really caught my eye and I’m far from a picky eater. I decided to try the pork belly tacos because I was told they are popular. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever tried in a long time. Not saying they weren’t “good”, maybe they just aren’t my style. I felt bad so I asked to just take them home, and then I ordered fish and chips because I was still hungry. It was okay. Batter was heavy but decent, fish was undercooked. Coleslaw and fries were generic. The atmosphere was dark and dungy which was ashame as we only get so many nice sunny days in NH. Overall, would maybe grab a beer once in awhile (especially if ur a beer snob), but I wouldn’t go back for the food.

The food was delicious. The place was hopping. People waiting for tables. The server was good, but because of the volume of diners the food was slow. My only real complaint was the noise level....I couldn't hear my family at our table. But when people wait an hour for a table you know the food is good.

Asked for black/blue sirloin tips. Got close to that and service excellent for my 1st time there. Will definitely return. Worth the ride from Bedford NH

Food was good but service was horrible. We need ever saw our server after placing food our order until she brought our bill to us. We were never offered refills on our drinks. We waited over ten minutes after stacking all of our plates for our bill and then waited another 15 for her to come and collect it.

I had the pork belly tacos they were excellent. The oysters were wonderful. The service staff can't do enough to make sure you are satisfied . I love this restaurant.

I was excited to go taste the food at Taphouse, and the staffing said that the owner was from Montreal. I ordered a Montreal smoked meat and a Poutine. What was upsetting, was how their smoke meat was so far away from what a Montreal smoked meat is. They had dry meat and some odd bread. A Montreal smoked meat is a kind of Pastrami, not a dry piece of meat. The Poutine was not good because they put a bunch of herbs on top. The owner should go back to Montreal and have a smoked meat at Schwartz.

Solid food, our waitress was great but the rest of the service wasn't. Overall, it's probably the only restaurant worth going to in Hooksett NH.

Sat at the oyster bar and talked with the man working there, ordered 6 oysters that were good. Had the Bolognese which was really good and the steak tips that were super bland and honestly boring and disappointing.

Great place for burgers, fries, and a beer. Good wine selection, too, as well as more traditional meals. Very friendly and professional staff.

Beer was good, selection solid. Waitress was attentive. Fries tasted like Dirt, unwashed? Almost like seasoned with dirt. Burger meat was unseasoned? Nasty flavor, inedible. The bun and fixings were all really good. Everything was lackluster but the parts seemed right. Very strange experience, we won't be back.

3 adults... had some mixed drinks specials that were dynamite! The food was delicious! Our server was perfect! Definitely be back again!

Have always loved this place as the ambiance is great! The food quality has drastically changed. Service is meh and we just expected better. Bartender did not ask how our meals were or if we needed anything before handing us our bill. We were thinking about dessert as we know how good they always were. You folks have a local farm but served browning and wilted lettuce. Please do better. Also the meatloaf was flavorless and rubbery. Maybe try using a protein with a little more fat and add worcestershire sauce and it tenderizes and adds flavor!

The Tap House has a great atmosphere one of the best in the area and have loved coming here with friends for a drink. it’s an easy place to just hangout and vibe. The food quality has gone down over the years though and is usually hit or miss, which is unfortunate since they had a great burger and fries but they don’t have the same wow factor really as much. Some of the servers are fantastic and do a great job and really make the experience better and they do it with a smile on their face too which is nice to see. Management needs better customer service skills though because I ordered a large takeout order one time which included a Buffalo chicken flatbread. When I looked, it was just plain cheese so they offered to remake it and when they did it barely barely had any chicken which was under the cheese and I usually hate sounding like I’m complaining but I asked if they could just give me more chicken on the side and the manager at the time opened the box to look inside and pointed out that it’s under the cheese but that’s not something you do to a customer and there still wasn’t enough chicken regardless

Husband and I had a great date there. We both found the portions to be just right not to little but not too much! Great service! We found the bill very reasonable! Planning to return soon! Keep up the great work!!!

I had a GREAT REUBEN there. The drink list is fantastic.

Food, good. Drinks great. Atmosphere good. Food should come out hotter, felt like it was sitting under the lamps for a while, it was barely warm even though we were told it had just come out of the oven. Service….makes me not want to come back. Literally lost count of how many times our waitress rolled her eyes after checking in on our table. Super fake. They got one of our orders wrong and didn’t want to change it, and still charged us for it. (Yes I would like what I asked for, and no I don’t want it now because we can tell you don’t care) Smaller dining space. noticed they tried to rush us for ordering, and in the middle of meals asking multiple times if we are set and wanted to box up our food. Really annoying. Barely halfway done our drinks and meals. (Fine we won’t order more drinks and desert like we were going to) The local beer rep. handing out samples from his brewery was way more friendly and respectful, and he doesn’t even work there.

Ordered Chicken wings and fish taco's, the wing's weren't the worst but far from the best. The fish taco's were the absolute worst I've ever had. Small pieces of haddock with a ton of batter. Waitress was very nice.

The Reuben and Montreal Meats sandwiches were great! Other dishes were well reviewed by others in my party. Staff were pleasant and as attentive as they could with it being clearly short-staffed, so things took a bit. Would definitely stop again.

Fried pickles were absolutely amazing, and the mushrooms burger with a beyond patty was unbelievable. My titos martini, lightly dirty was also perfect and we will definitely make this place a regular go to.

Very good size menu and plenty of choices for various beers. While we wait quite a while for service and food - they were very busy, the service was very good as well as the meal. We would go back .

Loved this place. We were in area for hockey and wound up eating here twice. The servers are so friendly and attentive. The food was really good. And I loved the downeast cider with the rim! My son loved their midnight burger ordered it twice. Highly recommend. And if we are ever back up that way we will return.

The service is fantastic. The poutine is very herbal. It’s delicious, but I was honestly expecting it to be a bit better.

Ok. … great waitress….excellent beer….. food just so so. Family member wanted to go here…. Frankly the 99 has better food. Raw bacon, crappy salad…. Not best Ruben ever had; actually one of the worst. Cook needs some lessons. One eater loved the poutine, although it I think the Chez vachon on west side has that beat by a long shot. Reason I rarely go here. Been here before couple x’s & disappointed then too. Bummer… wanted to like this time.

We have been here several times. Recently, over the weekend, and never any complaints about the food and service. Thankful to live close to here.

The food was just crazy to say the least in flavor, plating, and time it took to come out was 10/10. Jessica was amazing, she made sure we were set and ready at what seemed like perfect times. Also the drinks were pretty dang good. Recommend 100%

Luckily we arrived at 5 pm on a Wednesday night because by 6 pm the restaurant was packed. I thought this was mostly a high end burger place, but it’s much more.

Had some really good food at the tap house. Prices weren't bad for the size of the portions. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf which was very good. My son got the mac and cheese with pulled pork. It was huge and he had enough for lunch the next day left over. The others in our party got the Guinness Stew which they both said was excellent. Atmosphere was fine. Tvs to watch the game. Kind of loud but nothing outrageous. It was packed so noise is expected. We will definitely return.

Food took an hour to get and came warm and not hot. No one checked in on us. I can see if it had been hot and better service this could have been a great place.

The food was excellent, I had the shrimp scampi, and my wife had the scallops and bacon. They have a good beer selection. My wife tried their new cocktail, tiramisu martini, then ordered a second. Topped it off with the Almond Joy cheesecake. All this is accompanied by exceptional service. Our new favorite place.
