Can’t serve me at 848 but they’re hours are to 9. Ignore me at the drive through and turn off the lights when I pulled up to the window. I’ll keep that in mind next time

I've never eaten gyro before. I decided to try the gyro fries based on reviews. Just as pictured and tasted good. Fries were very crisp, meat was good. I would only recommend cutting the tomatoes and onions up more. I'd eat here again.

Service was quick and friendly -- had a gyro sandwich, ff and baklava. The sandwich was not what I expected. Meat was under seasoned, small portions of meat, onion and Tomatoes were to big for my liking. Sauce tasted sour. Fried were hot but could taste the oil needed changed. Baklava was over powered with cinnamon or nutmeg. This was my first and last time at Nick's as I figured it would be much more authentic. Sadly Arby's Greek gyro is still delicious.

The gentleman taking our order was an A hole, so not a gentleman. We added some items to our order and they put everything on the side. All we wanted on the side was the spicy sauce. Granted we came the 50 minutes before close, I assume thats why kosta was upset. (Name was on the receipt) The food was great. Prepared by the nice ladies in the kitchen.

Just moved here from the Chicago suburbs. Have been craving a good gyros. Saw the reviews, and decided to give them a try. When we received our gyros "plate" we thought they gave us a sandwich by mistake. What a disappointment, the size of the plate, reminded me of a kids meal $15 for that? What a joke. Where we came from, a gyros plate would feed both of us, and leave enough for breakfast. Way to expensive for what you get, won't be back!

I absolutely love this place. I haven't had a lot of experiences with this style of food in my life time aside from food trucks, but I just can't get enough of this stuff. And they have diet dew, which is a big plus in my book.

Best tasting gyro I'vehad all around the country! I could have it 3x a day 7 days a week! Highly recommend! Can not give this place a high enough review!

It has been a while since we have visited and it was still good, but service is not quite what it used to be.

My first time visiting here since moving to Sioux Falls. The gyros are delicious as well as the baklava. The Greek fries are okay. They'd be better with fresh cut fries.

The chicken gyro had meat that just tasted salty, the sauce tasted like watered down mayo. It was like eating a salty onion gyro. The upkeep of the building and landscaping was nice and the person who took my order was nice, but the employee in the bathroom before I went did not wash their hands as the sink was dry. I will never go there again.

We hadn't been there for a few years, and it was just as good as it always was. Staff was friendly and courteous. Very authentic Greek restaurant.

Not only the best gyros in Sioux Falls, but the best you will find anywhere. I happen to be Greek and I feel that Andy, the owner who is full-blooded Greek, operates it perfectly. I've eaten gyros over in the Mediterranean Sea area and they were not as good as the ones right here in South Dakota. 100% legit and always worth the stop. Stopped in a few days ago and was reminded how much pride he takes in his business. The inside was the cleanest restaurant I had been in in a while. Go there if you have not already.

Love the food. The employees make you feel at home. It's definitely a good place to stop for a delicious lunch.

I've never had a bad gyro at Nick's. They are soooo good I highly recommend trying one if you haven't!

Walked in on a Sunday 20 minutes before closing time. The staff had already decided they were done for the day. Chairs were up and they huffed when I ordered. I wanted to sit and enjoy my meal, but they put everything in a bag and held it up to my face to grab and booted me out the door. Gyros wasn't prepared like they normally do since they avoided using the regular methods for preparing the food while cleaning. $15 for a sandwich and fries was a but much to be treated this way. I'll spend my money at Gyros Time instead

The quality has gone down tremendously. Used to be my favorite place, but it seems Arby’s is a the better place for a decent gyro.

This hurts, as it's one of my favorite restaurants. But where's the owner? Seems like quality is going downhill a bit... I had a gyro, fries, and baklava yesterday.. I found a hair in each item. 😱 Not to mention the baklava itself was just a shell of the former treat that I knew, they looked.... Very sad Seems like workers just don't really care? They are always super depressed, maybe it's time they found a new career? Unless the owner can restore their morale.

Great gyros. Location feels outdated. Workers wear clothing that is dirty. Price is responsible.

I was not prepared how good this drive thru food was going to be. Why does anyone go anywhere else? It was fast, hot, fresh, filling and flavorful. When I ordered the $3 side salad I was not expecting it to be the size of a whole meal; it was so good. I highly recommend eating here!!

I’m always down to go to Nicks! Plenty of vegetarian options. I always get the veggie gyros and they’re simple and tasty. This time I sprung for the pitas and hummus. Was a little disappointed that the hummus wasn’t made in house, but the pita was so warm and pillowy that I don’t even care.

Eh. I’ve had better gyros at Arby’s. These were very dry.

Being our first time eating here, we really enjoyed the experience! The gal who waited on us had us sample the gyro meat and sauce before we ordered. We were really impressed with that. We both got the gyro plate; it was so much food, and we left stuffed! We dined in... such a cute little place!

This is the beat place to eat in town! Excellent food and desserts and at great prices.

The food was good. The one thing to note is that the fries have no salt added. The service was good but some things take a little longer than others. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. I loved all of it. I would go again.

I guess this is what I should expect from South Dakota. The meat on the gyros didn't have much flavor at all. Also I've never had gyros with white onions red onions are just better on a gyro. The service was fast but the food was a little sad. I get that this is the Midwest but comon.

My wife got me hooked on their gyros I've only had a gryo one other time and was not impressed. These ones the pita is nice and warm meat if flavorful and tender and the service is always fast.

Pull up at 4:50 pm on a Sunday and they would not take my order even though they close at 5. Horrible horrible customer service.

We’ve been customers for years and have always enjoyed the gyros. However we went to dine in last night and hours were posted open until 9pm we arrived at 8:25pm. So we go to counter to order and my husband tells the lady what he wants and she’s like “you’re ordering this to go right?” And my husband and I look at each other like huh? And she continues “cause our lobby is closing real soon” and I asked looking at my phone for the time “how soon is that?” And she says “5 minutes” then says “well we wouldn’t kick you out” semi annoyed. So I said “no nevermind I wanted to sit and eat not in my car” and we left. If you’re going to close your dining area a half hour before posted closing time have that stated somewhere. We were on our way to a movie so was annoyed we wasted time stopping in.

I was having one of the worst days until I found this store. Food was splendid! Fries were not too salty Gyro sandwich was so good. Very satisfied with Nicks. Thank you!

Believed the food looked an was of the amount as in photos on the menu. Three small squares of cheese, six small slivers of green pepper, one slice of tomato chopped in twelve pieces, three olives, definitely not cucumber dressing. No thank yous when paying or giving tip..no hair nets on long diffinately dirty hair.

Nick's used to be amazing, but lately it's just lacking. Recently my family ordered three lamb plates without onions, and ALL of them had onions anyway. We asked for extra sauce and they gave us one, single container. The food is barely worth it anymore, the staff just don't seem to care. I've had this same experience multiple times over the last several years too, to the point that I actually dread eating from Nick's now because I know I can expect mediocre service at best, and their food isn't as good as it used to be either. Nick's is now a shadow of its former self, just don't eat here anymore if you can help it.

This place has the best Gyros! I've been going here for decades. Delicious! Also, wonderful people running it. Love this place!

You have to try the salad with a double meat in the spicy sauce.

Worst greek food I've ever had. The tzatziki was not even tzatziki. The pita was bland. Half their menu is discontinued. Not worth the price. The meat was too salty and the presentation was horrible

Not super impressed. Odd that fried are $3.00 as a side but they charge $5.00 for upgraded to "plate" which includes THE SAME piddly amount of fries. There is nothing more added to the "plate" deal. Did not notice that until i took pics of the menu boards. Didn't bother complaining...just wont go back. Very clean place though, well taken care of!! Staff...ok, not very cheery or friendly...the gal complained a lot about rain. I just laughed as she kept going on about it. The lamb spam was typical processed stuff. The cucumber sauce wasnt anything special as a lot of folks say. But im very finicky to Gyros...had then all over the country and on the pier in Dubai and Bahrain....so im judging against those standards. It was a good amount of meat...but not 10$ worth. Or $15 with the $3 fries and 2$ Styrofoam plate added in i guess..lmao. oh and the baklava...good price, good flavor...but just a bit to dry to me.

Haven't been here in years. Was so surprised at the cleanliness of the dining area. The staff were nice and hard working. Had the gyros burger and fries. Both were good and big portions.

I have been going to Nick's for 20 years. For gyros, NO one comes close, forget all these fancy new gyro shops, and save your self heart ache and disappointment and go to Nick's.

Delicious food and staff were all very friendly and answered all of our questions happily. We'll be back for sure!

Bring back the olives and Feta cheese on the sandwiches! They aren't the same without them.

Great little Greek fast food restaurant. Cosy and charming. Food is fresh and cooked to order. Great juicy cheeseburger on pita bread. And they have a drive thru. Will return!

So disappointed in Nick's....I ordered a $13 chicken gyro plate to go and got home only to discover that I had a pita filled with onions, tomatoes and tiziki sauce. There was only like 3 slices of meat. Never Again!!!

Pros- Great food and awesome staff. The owner is a really nice guy. Cons- if your lactose intolerant, avoid eating here..really messes with your gut. And very pricey for a fast food joint, two meals is almost $40.

Nicks seems to always "hit the spot"! The gyros taste great and if I could I'd eat 2, but I'm always too full after 1.

The place is very cute. The gyro was mediocre, good but nothing too special and too many onions. The salad it came with was just chunks of iceberg lettuce and some tomato slices. Baklava and the custard pastry (I can’t remember what it was called) were also very mediocre, and sticky. Overall nothing was bad but it wasn’t excellent. Edit: I forgot to mention that everything was styrofoam (plates, cups, carry out container). I personally dislike creating so much waste during a single meal and I also know several people who can’t stand the texture of styrofoam.

Only thing I would say is they nolonger have Festa cheese and olives with there gyro and need a bit more updating especially in bathroom, other then that employees are friendly and services I give 5 star.

The gyros were tasteless. Nothing like they used to be. We spent $33 for 2 gyros and it was a waste of $. I don't know what happened, but they used to be so good. I do not recommend going there.

Nick's gyros are absolutely delicious. People either haven't eaten there or think it's excellent.

Nicks gyro sandwich with fries and extra white sauce is what's pictured. They have so many delicious options! Love their gyro fries and gyro platter. Their onions and tomatoes are always fresh, and the gyro meat is cooked to perfection. Always friendly staff and great owners.

Authentic Greek food and updated lobby!

Overall they make good gyros the meat is a little bit smaller in portion to other places I have had. The tomatoes and onions were fresh and tasty. All in all a good gyro place I would recommend.

Quality and fulfilling meal for a very fair price. Hard to find anything else like it these days. The people who work there are very friendly. Highly recommend the gyros and onion rings. Love that they have a drive thru!

French fries were hot and fresh. Salad was delicious. Quick service as well.

Underwhelming Veggie Gyro. Had very little substance to it. No cheese, no falafels or chickpeas. Just lettuce and a few veggies with no seasonings. Fries were also pretty small and entirely unseasoned without flavor.

Don't try going there 15-20 minutes prior to closing time. They will avoid serving you.

Ehhh not the best gyro I’ve had. The meat was just okay and the sauce they put on the gyro really lacked flavor. However it is convenient with the drive thru if you are ever in a rush and are craving a gyro.

Guys, season the crinkle fries please. It would've been a 5 star if you guys simply added seasoning to the fries - they taste terrible. Everything else is great but the crinkle fries are just garbage.

Great place to get a gyro in Sioux falls. They have a small display case filled with goodies that are fresh made everyday, I highly recommend the baklava. Hubby and I both got just a gyro platter, and it was more than enough for each of us. Staff is friendly, food is quick and hot, definitely recommend if you're tired of the same old burgers and pizza.

Best gyros in town! I love this little restaurant and it makes me think of Greece because of the colors, flags, and canvas prints...but mostly the food! Wonder who makes the baklava...it's outstanding!

It was ok.. the taste was nice, but the quantity was not, as were the flies going around the table... BTW, this meat is not gyros, not by Greek standards. This is Döner, it's the Turkish method. Oh, and the fries were soaked in oil, they were weirdly crunchy on the outside but juicy (oily) on the inside..

I would highly recommend dining in. The place is SPOTLESS. Inside is painted in semi-gloss blue and white (ώπα!!!) Nick's makes most of its revenue from the elephant line of lazy South Dakotans who can't do a 30 min jog.. How ever the drive-thru line on average is 10min wait. (Nick has to go fell a cow for you...lol Actually that's very good for food made to order. Comparable to popular Gyro Time or bigger chains like Mad Greek) The menu is simple. Gyros or Burgers ... Has your staple Spanakopita and Baklava. The Gyro is simple (basic pita, gyro meat, sliced onion, tomato, and a garnish of 2 olives and piece of feta. Fries come off the fryer pretty crispy. Fries are fries, don't complain the serving size, fried food is BAD for you anyway ... They do have sides but who cares about those, you're here for the Gyro Plate (not the 6" Gyro Sandwich) RIGHT?! For a Gyro joint in SOUTH DAKOTA it's pretty fun. Food is swell, the service is fast and professional, and the townies love it. It's Gyro joint, not. Bistro... You will not get Moussaka here so don't find reasons to whine, The food is good, that's all you need to know. Nick's has been around for a while because the service is consistent and food is hot when served. Pricing is not too steep but you are paying for a spotless dining room, decent food, and a quiet atmosphere to escape the normies and not-so-based townies in Sioux Falls. You'll enjoy the dining room more than the drive-thru and it's close to plenty of shopping and other food chains to keep the prices reasonably good. Nick's is the place you go to avoid the daily grind, long lines and ridiculous wait times.
