Best Pizza in the north land always great.

I was craving a salad, and this place definitely delivered on that! It was massive and delicious! I'll be going back for sure!

Hands down, the best pizza in the KC area.

Avoid the salmon. Burnt and dry. Meatballs were undercooked and mushy.

Always liked Nicky's favorite and tried the lasagna pizza..it was awesome!! Also love that there isn't much sauce on the pizza with warm sauce to dip❤️

First stop in at Nicky's we had the pizza, it was good but not great. But I love pizza and have high standards. Second time we stopped in and tried some of the other menu items. Spinach artichoke dip is fantastic! Italian grinder is amaze-balls! And the muffaletta was awesome (wifes selection) and I hate olives. I HATE olives and still finished the last several bites, I was Soooo good. Staff is great, atmosphere is sports bar/pizza joint feel, beer is cold and many choices. Eat here. Blue cheese is great. Take some home.

Ordered on grub hub. Places like this are why I always look for the small family owned pizza shop. Wings and pizza were what they should be. Very good. Unlike some major chain out there that you need a roll of paper towels to soak the grease off the top.

We should've gone here much sooner! It's a fun atmosphere inside and the food is so good oh my gosh. We got the Mediterranean pizza and Italian grinder sandwich and neither disappointed!So good I forgot to take pictures of our first time there. We'll definitely be going back regularly.

I don’t want to 5 star a place based on one visit and one pizza, but man it was tempting. I got a supreme and it was delicious, good ingredients and great dough. It was a really good pizza. The place was quite a bit nicer inside than I thought it might be. I’ve eaten at a few chain and independent pizza places locally and this may be the best. I’ll be back for sure.

This is an amazing place to eat!! Probably the best toco pizza I have ever had. The staff was just amazing and so kind!! If ever in the area, you need to stop in!

Love their pepperoni pizza, but the hidden gem is the Mediterranean pizza.

First timer and ordering thru Grub Hub, so with that, I will say the pizza has a good chewy and nicely browned crust. Only wanted peperoni, and those were good and crispy as well. Not too saucey, and I'm hoping that's because they read my note about that. Tried the spinach dip, and that was fine, too. I asked the delivery service to ring my camera to alert me as I was a distance from my door, but they did not, so when I did get their drop-off text, I ran out. I was not happy to see the chip box top opened and exposed to the elements. Pizza was fine, but every delivery in a small container always comes in bags. If not sealed them bagged. Please bag your containers from wind and have delivery drivers' hands on these containers.

The house salad was great and the perfect size. 2 more bites and it's done. The personal/small is, again, the perfect size. For me it means a couple of slices for tonight. I got the veggie and it's packed. Oh, that's my Old Fashion caught in the picture, excellent. My friend got the BBQ chicken. He was amazed by the chicken, so tender. 5/16/24 Back for another pie. Got the Nicky’s Favorite and it was great. Salad was very fresh, crunchy lettuce. Only thing I would suggest improving is the unsweetened tea.

Every time my husband and I come here I try to get something different. EVERYTHING is good! You can't go wrong! Nana's home made meat balls are the BOMB! She makes them fresh weekly. Fantastic neighborhood hangout. Never disappoints.

I've eaten here 3 times since we moved to Liberty in the last 2 years. The first time my wife and I had Lasagna, the day we moved into our new home. The marinara sauce was just awesome... like a sweet Garlic Basil... and those layers ricotta cheese!!! And did I mention the portions were HUUGE! Just awesome! As hungry as we both were, neither one of us could finish the entire serving and took it home. We thought it was the best lasagna we'd had in a very long time...but then we laughed and chalked that up to us both being so darn tired and hungry from unloading and unpacking all day. The second time, we are here, we just wanted a pizza, but a change from Minsky's. Love our Minsky's, but like anything it gets old. We both really enjoyed the pizza. The crust was crisp, the sauce was tasty, the cheese was every bit as good as Minsky's. So we left pretty impressed. Hard to even come close to Minsky's in our book, here in Kansas City. And for the second time... The service was just on point. I never had an empty glass...the entire time we were there and they were busy both nights. Last night, we decided we wanted to try the Lasagna, again. We actually ordered it as takeout...And it did not disappoint. It was everything we remembered it to be. Just amazing! All the flavors in the sauce and cheeses! I think we found our new favorite close to home Italian... And it's a great neighborly bar. While I was waiting for takeout, I struck up a conversation over the games on TV behind the bar. Just a really nice neighborhood establishment. And I keep forgetting to take pictures of our meals, but your mouth is just salivating from the aromas coming from the kitchen or from your takeout boxes... I can't wait to start eating!! 😜

We’ve been several times since moving to the area and we LOVEEEEE this pizza! We crave it! We typically get it for carry out and it’s always quick and ready when we get there. We’ve not had a single disappointment with the food there!

Great food and atmosphere. Plenty of TVs around but not too many, which can be overwhelming at other places. Buffalo chicken pizza was fantastic. We subbed tomatoes out for onions. Also got one of “Nani’s meatballs,” which is hands down the best meatball I’ve ever had. Only gripe is the meatball has shrunken in size over the years. Still worth every penny, though!

Waiter 33 Andrea, she was a very rude waitress. She was very rude to my 3 year old granddaughter, absolutely uncalled for, that is not OK!!!! She never checked on us and if she did she would walk by and ask if we were doing ok. We had to get our own refills. Never smiled one bit. Was friendly with everyone else. But our food and the young gentleman that brought it out kudos to him. Food was very tasty.

I've really enjoyed Nicky's Pizza. Came in at the tail end of happy hour recently and even though it was busy, we were greeted promptly. The service was excellent and the food came out well made and tasted great. This was only my second visit, but this might be my favorite new pizza place.

I heard about the lasagna pizza and got the opportunity to try it. It was delicious! Our server looked like she needed some help but she did a good job taking care of us.

Last Minute laye night dinner with one of my girlfriends. They have gluten free pizza and it is very good. I had all meat and cauliflower crust. My friend got a personal pan and liked it also. I'll definitely go back again. The seasoning they use is unique and wonderful!

So my friend always gets the thin crust pizza with grapes, and I have to admit it looks delicious. But I'm terribly fond of salads, so that's always been my choice. However, in the future I will likely get the pizza, since my salad always comes with the clumps of lettuce that should go into the trash. Even after requesting romaine only. But the waitresses are splendiferous, and the atmosphere is nice enough for a pizza place.

Most dry, dry DRY, flavorless pizza I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. Now I know I can’t eat cheese on my pizza but I seriously doubt they even put a spoonful of sauce on this thing to compensate. The meat isn’t seasoned with anything but parsley and a prayer. The pepperoni is burnt too. 0/5 if I could. Abysmal.

The pizza was just okay. It was terrible I suppose. I probably won’t be back. It was bland and the crust seemed to be not fully cooked.

Young hostess flirted with my husband asking him if he had any big plans tonight? Lol yeah he's coming home to his family. Like ok it was innocent enough but just wasn't a " FAMILY FRIENDLY " atmosphere. More like a bar had a ton of dudes at the bar. My daughter had surgery today and it was a tough day for me as a mom my husband is cute but we won't be eating anywhere that either of us are being flirted with. Unfortunately we won't come back to this place 😔

Food was awesome. Not your chain pizza joint. You can tell by the way that it is. The salmon cheese bread was right on point, I don't know what that sauce is that it comes with but def Smash. 10/10 would recommend.

One of the best locally owned places to eat! We frequent this establishment at least once a month since it's opened and have yet to have a bad experience. Foods great, staff is friendly. Definitely a go to.

This is the best pizza! Our favorite place! Always great fresh toppings. The sauce and crust are always perfect too. Can't recommend it enough.

Have been told for some time now to check out Nicky’s. Today was a great opportunity to dive right in. Multiple appetizers to choose from. We settled with some wings cheese sticks and meatballs. All were good but the meatballs definitely were the favorites. Waitress was eager to help and was very knowledgeable. With the ability to order half pizzas this allowed us to try several styles. We settled on three types all with the hand tossed crust. Buffalo Chicken Lasagna and the all meat options. All were well prepared and packed lots of unique flavors!

Should be a 0 star. Showed up over an hour before close and 3-4 tables of people there and a server ran over and said they were closed. We tried to ask when they closed and she just shut the door. An absolutely WILD move we won't be giving them another chance.

This is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. We got the buffalo wings as an appetizer and the lasagna pizza, the service and the food was top tier. They started off super strong with noticing we chose a booth right by the window and the sun was super bright and they immediately closed the blinds for us and got us started. 11/10 definitely come here for your pizza needs 🤤

We are new to the area and were searching for good pizza. This WASN'T IT. I ordered a Calzone with sausage, pepperoni, and onions. I was told it came with a house salad. The total was almost $19. When I arrived, I inspected the calzone and asked, "What's this?". She stated, "A calzone." I said that it wasn't a calzone, and the lady stated,"That's how we make them." I should have told her to keep it. The sausage was almost minced, there wasn't much pepperoni and very little onion. The cheese was on the outside, and the crust tasted old and flavorless. The calzone was small, and the house salad was tiny. The calzon was cut into two pieces so it would fit into a small box. Never saw that one before! Either learn how a calzone is made or call yours something else. Like a Folded Nicky? This place will be a "NEVER AGAIN!"

Helpful waiter for church group of eleven, different items ordered, individual checks; provided plates and forks for celebration cake brought in. A busy place, but waiter helped us have a good experience. Plenty parking, including two blue spaces near front door.

Good food and value. Handicapped parking within 50 feet; threshold at entry difficult for our wheelchair on entry, easy on exit. Usually busy at lunch, today one table with children, one with older couple, ours and another table with special needs, several individual diners. A go-to place for us.

This place, hands down, has my heart… and money. Found the new lunch spot!

Fried meatball sandwich is my favorite

The two meat calzone (hamburger and bacon) was fabulous and was unbelievably large. The homemade special "suga" sauce (on the side), was a great addition.

The food is fantastic. Fresh quality ingredients and made to order. Good pizza, hand made meatballs and terrific sandwiches. I highly recommend the Grinder. Good food, good drinks and great service.

Little loud but its a bar and pizza place

Some of the reviews said, "Best pizza ever" and "Best Pizza in KC."   No to both, but they do make a decent pizza.   It had good flavor and they do not skimp on toppings.   The crust was a little floppy, and it could have used a touch more sauce.   Still, a good little pizza.  The cheese had good pull, and the toppings were of better quality.  I could taste some love in the pizza.  I wouldn't say no to this place, and if you are in Liberty, you should give them a try.   Rating 6.8

Great little pizza shop. Nice selection of pies and a few crust choices. Pies are very good and service is fairly quick.

First time to try. Server was excellent, tried two pizzas cauliflower crust was fine, but loved the thin crust lasagna topping pizza, what a nice surprise. The taste was fabulous

Met with some friends as we were passing through, loved the food! The pizza was amazing, good beer. Only gripe was the lighting and sound. Our table was really dim and the music was quite loud. Ruined a bit of the social aspect.

Well.. there wasn’t any sauce on our pizza and it was cold by the time we got there (we got there the exact time the website said it’d be ready by) so yeah.. subpar

We have been coming here for years. This evening our dining experience was less than unacceptable. Two servers were very cranky and offended because they are way too young to realize what the real world is about. You choose to serve, but are offended if you were asked to do anymore than just the bare minimum service. So sad to see such a great establishment fall to the bottom. A kindergarten teacher chose to tell us about her horrible life as a kindergarten teacher, and then having to serve adults was just too much. Sorry to say we will be sharing with everyone not to go there ever again. Grow up millennials!!!! As our waitress was so offended by us…… two seconds later she was laughing and dancing. Must have been the way too generous tip my friend chose to leave that made her so happy!

A great old fashioned neighborhood pizza place. Food quality is higher than what one would expect from a neighborhood bar. Service was great. All around an excellent dining experience.

The only reason I gave it a 4 is because I do not like Parmesan and it was pre-mixed into the ingredients. Other than the Parmesan it was really good. The toppings and the pizza were good and it was delivered really fast. The crust was great. Friendly staff too. If you like Parmesan I would recommend this pizza restaurant.

Great place to grab a pizza and some beer. My wife and I have had their pizza several times and have yet to be disappointed. Their dip is amazing as well, and the service was great when I went for a beer with a buddy. The atmosphere is solid and doesn't feel too confined. We ordered the special because I had to try it (chili dog pizza). It definitely tasted like a chili dog! I got a small Nicky Special for the wife as well as some dip! Also, we ordered the cannolis which were small but amazing! Overall, I would highly recommend either dining in or ordering takeout.

Absolutely excellent sandwiches. They've never made anything I haven't liked. They're definitely getting hit by a staffing issue and the way people act in there sometimes definitely makes it show. Well worth it for the food, though.

Good pizza, atmosphere and facilities! Good menu and we've never ordered anything we didn't like, as we try everything! Our favorite waitress, Lindsey is amazing and always a pleasure to see! Unimpressed. I've had better gas station pizza. If you want thin crust St. Louis style pizza go to LEOs Pizza on Englewood. Thousand times better. Leo's is the best place in KC.

The grinder is amazing and we love the bbq pizza with thin crust! We got Moscow mules and they were 7 bucks each and pretty delicious. I will definitely be back!
