For everyone who intends to enjoy a meal with those they love, do not and I repeat do NOT do so here! I never in my life been to a restaurant where the owner is so rude, ill mannered, and down right disrespectful to his customers as well as his workers. How is anyone suppose to enjoy a meal or time with their family when all that they can hear is the owner literally dropping F bombs at his employees. I mean it’s one thing if they royally messed up and things became a big deal, but these poor servers are getting cussed at for almost everything they do, even something so simple as engaging with the customers they are serving… it’s literally their job to engage with the customers and give them a great experience. It’s hard to see honestly and it blew my mind! My server was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of and even took the time to make us feel welcomed to the area as we were only visiting. Only for me to overhear the owner yelling at the staff because they’re being too friendly to the customers. I pulled up the reviews after the fact to see if maybe we just caught him on a bad day but then I see a review saying the owner berated a customer and chased him out the door all while yelling slanderous comments. Upon reading further that customer had a complaint about additional charges to his bill that wasn’t supposed to be there. Instead of trying to figure out the mistake and making it right, he instead chooses to berate the customer and run them out. I continue to read and the theme is the same. There are quite a few reviews about the owner and the customer service that I wish I had seen before I took my family there. Bottom line is this, if the owner is this bad, and the customer service is this bad, then this place is not worth your money. Our server was great and honestly I’m sure many of the servers are just as good but they’re under some terrible leadership and that’s dragging them down. I do hope this place can improve but my experience was overall disturbing. So much so that I wouldn’t put it past the owner to be the type to spit in your food and charge you for it.

I've been enjoying this place for a few years.

I used to love coming here for the Greek salad and chicken tenders. They have changed. Maybe not their fault but it deserves a review. Chicken tenders are not the same. They’re tough and dry and small. They used to be large with Panko breading and juicy. The salad was, OK, the feta cheese was made out of cows, milk and not goat cheese and the salad dressing had absolutely no vinegar in it. It was all oil and spices. I had to ask for vinegar. Bread was still delicious and so were the tomatoes on my salad. But I will never get chicken tenders Again. Maybe I’ll try the moussaka or the Shawarma. Waitress was a doll for putting up with me. She got a big tip.

What was ordered and a realistic take. App sampler (hummus, tabouli, baba ghanouj) was incredibly grainy, and the server had to point out which was baba which is ridiculous, tasted absolutely canned and artificial. Stuffed Grape leaves over rolled in tough grape leaves Musaka serve with a “bechamel” that could only be described as rubber and incredibly bitter Vegetarian sampler, couldn’t even swallow a bite of any dish. Everything came out room temp. Spanakopita philo was soggy and the feta tasted off, tatziki was nothing more than room temperature yogurt, zucchini pie a complete mess of scrambled egg (or at least the texture from what I gathers before spitting out) and Lebanese salad was so old it began to take on a fermented sour like no other. Pita is store bought fluffy fake stuff. Paid for the whole meal, as it was our mistake to even come here in the first place, never again. Stay away if you even remotely know what Greek food should taste and look like.

We’ve been coming to this location for a while now and have noticed the quality of food isn’t as great as it used to be. The lamb we received tonight was hard and seemed old or had been left out for a while. Will be our last visit, too expensive to be mediocre.

Amazing garlic encrusted fish, so good

I am sure that this review will get removed immediately upon posting but I feel that I MUST warn people before they go here. I went here today with my sister and niece for lunch. We have been going to Niki’s for over 10 years and have always had good food and service but this has really changed in the past two years. It started going downhill when one of their servers was adding more tips to our tickets. That happened about three times to me and I reported it to the manager who always apologized but never refunded the overpayment. We started having bad service and the servers couldn’t get our orders correct. We decided to go again today and give them another try, boy was that a mistake. We sat down and waited for our server. It was about five minutes later and no server came over or even acknowledged us. We figured that this was probably a mistake to give them another chance so we decided to leave and go to another place. The owner was incredibly rude as he berated us from across the restaurant when we decided to leave. He then aggressively rushed at me continually berating us as I went for the door. What kind of owner does that? Well, I will NEVER return to Niki’s ever again and I told him that as I hastily headed out the door. My advice to anyone, don’t give your hard earned money to this horrible man.

My wife and I went in for the first time yesterday. It was such a pleasant experience with the great service we got from Michelle and the food was amazing. Even though my wife and I ordered a couple of high end drinks the bill was well within typical prices around this area.

I go on Tuesday for the chickens orzo soup and Greek salad and/ or BLT special. My addictions.

A lovely atmosphere and most enjoyable food, service top notch too. Enjoyable family night out.

This place has improved greatly from 3 years ago. I had previously given 3 stars, but have visited twice in the past month and the food was so amazing. The service was wonderful. This is a regular date night spot for us now. Keep up the great work!

They updated the inside of the restaurant, and it looks very chic. The food is always great and the staff treats you like family. I would recommend any of the shawarma dishes - they are excellent.

Wonderful and abundant Greek food in a family restaurant setting. We had hummus, baba ghanoush and a lamb gyro sandwich. Way too much food for lunch. The gyro alone was enough for 2. All tasted great, served quickly by friendly people. Good prices.

This is another place I've been coming to for years. Sadly, I can't do a proper rating because, I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of Greek food in general. However. Were it not for this place, I probably would not have given Greek food another chance after how terribly my prior experiences had gone. The atmosphere is simplistic but inviting, the staff are not overly friendly but accepting, and very on top of your needs. For these reasons, and because I had family that liked the food there, I gave it a try. I only go there for grape leaves, tea, and pita, but all of those things are pretty dang good. It introduced me to Greek food that I like and gave me the courage to try more. For both its modern and traditional Greek meanings, I think the Calla Lily, which adorns all of the glass separators, is very fitting to represent this restaurant.

Very solid gyro with good flavor. Was a little lacking on toppings but that may have been my fault for not asking. Will definitely try again

I'm keto dieting so I had their Greek salad with gyro meat! It was huge and so much gyro meat. I ate half and took the rest home for the next day. The server was new and did a wonderful job. Wish I could remember her name. I crave Niki's Rainbow all the time now. Wish it were closer!

FOOD POISONING! Avoid at all cost if you care about your health and taste buds. This is most bland and stale "Greek" food I've ever had during my travels and I am European, used to be a chef at a Turkish restaurant. If you are casual local american diner you might have nothing to compare this food to... had the microwaved spinach pie, frozen flavorless kefta, stuffed grapeleaf and the stale baklava. Got food poisoning and was sick for days. Confronted the owner he said I was dehydrated. He said he doesn't care about reviews. Wow. He didn't try to make me whole. He thinks he can just get away with anything.... to be continued

This was the first time I ate at the same restaurant two days in a row. The food is amazing. I had the garlic encrusted haddock and moussaka. Both were delicious. Highly recommended.

We have been eating at this restaurant ever since we came to the Melbourne area 24 years ago! The food is delicious, consistent, and even some of the servers are the same! Sam is the owner and has done an excellent job with keeping this restaurant's quality top notch, a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, and very welcoming. LOVE the Greek salads with lots of feta cheese and delicious dressing. Greek combo is an absolute favorite and the pita bread is hot and tasty. Lunch or dinner, either is wonderful! Plus, they now have a second room and an upscale bar!

Fantastic food with an extensive menu. Some servers are phenomenal, very attentive, and at least one will let your drunk stay empty and not check on you..... so that part is a gamble, but definitely won't keep me from going. Everything I have had has been wonderful. The red fish is a favorite, try it!!!!!

Hidden gem! We had an appetizer and drinks. The chips were delicious! Drinks were well made and the menu is huge, the photos are a bonus! Living Beachside it can be difficult to find GOOD food, but this place has me so excited to try everything on the menu!

I randomly walked into Niki’s after a meeting that I had for lunch. I ordered the gyro platter for lunch expecting a basic sandwich. But it was The best gyro. The best gyro that I have ever had was in Mykonos at a place called Leftairs until this day. I was blow away by Niki’s. The bread was the perfect thickness and freshly made. The lettuce and tomatoes were crisp and fresh, the tzatziki had the perfect zest and lastly and the most important part…the gyro meat..:soft, juicy, tender, succulent and perfectly flavored!! I can’t wait to bring my wife for dinner here and try the entire menu!!!

Great food and fast service. I always look for local Greek restaurants since I’m vegan/veg and Niki’s had great options for me! I ate here on my lunch break and I had the lunch special with the falafel, Greek salad and french fries for $14!! Delicious and lots of food. Can’t wait to come back. :)

Chicken shawarma was good and the garlic sauce on top was delicious. Hummus was a bit bland. Portion size could've been more for the price.

I think most of my family liked their food. Only 3 stars because my souvlaki was like a dried up pork chop diced into pieces. And it tasted fishy. I only took a couple bites. Wasn't good. Also I didn't like paying $9 for a kids meal that consisted of a pile of pasta and two tablespoons of marinara.

Very good, fresh food at a reasonable price. I had the chicken Shwarma with a side of babaganoush. The babaganoush was deliciously smoky and perfect on the soft, thick fresh pita. My hubby had the generously portioned stuffed flounder. There were no bones, so he made no bones about it. It all disappeared from his plate. The server, Cindy, was very attentive without being intrusive. She brewed a fresh pot of coffee for hubby and brought refills of that and my ice tea without needing to be asked. She was good about answering questions. The restaurant itself has comfortable booths, pleasant piped-in music, and mercifully no distracting TVs, which makes it easier to chat. Was it the best Lebanese food I've ever had, no, but it was pretty close. I expect we will be back.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience on a take out order. The portions were incredibly small and overpriced. ordered a shawarma platter and was shocked to find that it was barely enough, about 2oz of meat. I called to complain and was told "I will notify the chef, thank you for the feedback" I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying meal. Save your money and go somewhere else"

When I visit Florida, Niki's Rainbow Restaurant is one we never miss! The food is delicious, the waiters, waitresses and staff are always friendly and accommodating. This Greek American cuisine is fabulous!

I couldn’t be happier to give this experience 5 stars. I arrived at the front end of dinner service and was warmly greeted and seated. I was given a nice balance of space and attention as I prepared to order. Starting with some Dolma (one hot & one cold) as well as the Greek Chips and knew I was in for a treat. Why doesn’t every Mediterranean restaurant have chips like this? If you like tzatziki, feta and fresh warm chips, get this! I then tucked in with the shawarma combo and enjoyed both the chicken and beef. The garlic sauce on the chicken was particularly delicious. Finally, can a Mediterranean meal be ended without having a piece of baklava and a fresh cup of coffee? I think not. All that to say, although I may have brought the average age demographic down in the dining room, this was totally worth the trip. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Reading the reviews was excited to try this place but was disappointed. The food was bland, the portions small, and over priced. The hummus looked like it came from a jar. The shrimp and french fries were good but that's about it. Service was good as well. I'm still on my search for good Greek food.

This Beachside restaurant was fun to visit - it's Beachside! The food was very good, and the atmosphere quiet and cute. Attentive and kind staff. I enjoyed sharing Spanakopita, Calamari and found a new favorite - Greek Chips. YUM - handmade thin, crisp chips with tzatziki sauce, feta, green onion and tomato. Who knew you could do that!?!?!? They have room for a large group off to the side, could be good for a business lunch.

Food was excellent as was the service. Location not the best and the name is kinda misleading. But we had a very nice experience and will be back.

I loved the food. I ordered the greek combo with stuffed gape leaves gyro meat great lasagne spanakopita and moussaka. OMG. I have NEVER had anything this good. I want to go back and congratulate the cook. I will return for sure. Food coma. Lol

Fabulous Food, staff, atmosphere

Food was great. Server was attentive. Decor was upbeat and modern. Conveniently located. I'd go back. My guests recommended Niki's for our meeting and said it was the nicest, cleanest, and best food option in the area.

Not the best greek food I've ever had, but better than most in the US. And...I ate there 2 nights in a row, so that says something! The first night I had the vegetarian mousakka, and it was delicious! So good that I decided I needed to go back and try the falafel - which was also good! The sides (salad, fries and rice are what I've tried so far) ate just ok. Nothing special. The spinach pie was on the bland side. I'd go back again for the mousakka! Both times I ordered to go, so I can't speak for service or ambiance, but when popping in to grab the order, it does seems good on both counts.

I have a coworker leaving and they wanted their going away lunch at Niki's so we went. Service and food was outstanding.

This is a must stop for anybody who likes Greek and Mediterranean food. You cant find a better gyro. I strongly recommend the gyro plater w/ fries and salad. Great lunch spot and good people.

MUST GET THE BABAGANOUSH! Staff was great, food came out timely, and our server was helpful. Other than the amazing babaganoush, the food was OK. I had the garlic-encrusted Halibut. I know it's a mild fish, however this seemed more "battered" than "encrusted" and wasn't crispy, or didn't have a garlic taste. It wasn't bad- but I would not get it again.

Some of the best food we’ve ever had. The blackened Red fish and Mahi was amazing! Literally tasted so fresh, the appetizers were also SO good. The herbs in the rice smelled so fresh, I could go on. Definitely recommend. Attention to detail.

This is a great Greek restaurant that offers a nice variety of fresh salads, sandwiches, gyros and other traditional Greek dishes. The salads are always fresh and tasty, the service good and the ambiance average. We have eaten there 7-8 times and never been disappointed and it’s our go-to place when other places are closed between the major meal hours.

My first time, won't be my last...I ordered the Gyro platter which comes w/ greek salad & fries...the Gyro meat was moist & flavored just right...I will be looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

I'm not even a fan of Greek or Middle Eastern food but I go here a lot because they have a fantastic grilled cheese and french fries plus delicious home made cheesecake!! Great little restaurant!! Oh, and Sam, the owner, is super warm and friendly too!

¡Opah! Everytime this spot delights my spirit and tummy. The Pita bread is sooo deelish and fresh. Hummus, Gyro meat, grilled chicken greek salad, baklavah, fries, and the insanely deelish pita bread = our standard order, always happily satisfied and served with love by such a lovely staff!
