Heads up to anyone going here they are behind the curve. This business does not have a way to pay with ApplePay online. I was not able purchase food.

I have an allergy to shellfish (shrimp) and try to avoid it but had a minor reaction about 15 minutes after eating (didn't eat the shrimp or sushi) Something must have been contaminated somehow with the shrimp or sushi.

They never disappoint. The best in the tri-state!

The chicken in my rice was still pink, and the beef was so gross … it was rubbery and had no flavor — almost tasted fake. I called to tell them, and the manager quite literally hung up on me. To be honest, 1 star is 5 stars too many. I absolutely will NOT be back 🫶🏻

I honestly don’t know what’s happened here, they used to be the best Chinese place around… for a good 10 years! There must be a “new” chef or something because I’ve ordered 4-5 times in the last year and the taste and quality has been significantly decreased each time when compared to their past service. I kept trying again figuring it was just an off day or I was the one who had different taste buds, after all, I was pregnant during part of that time. Worse than that though, I’ve gotten food poisoning 2 of those times. The first time I thought it was a coincidence; maybe something else I’d eaten or just a stomach bug that hit at the perfect time, but the second time I can’t ignore. I am SO sick and so are my kids. I honestly think we should be entitled to a refund, but I don’t have the time to go round and round about that for $30. Eat here if poor food and gastrointestinal distress is your “thing.”

My favorite take out in town! I’m annoying about getting not spicy sauce but they hook me up everytime !

We ordered 37.00 worth of food tonight and it was not good. Ragoon was rubbery and the beef dishes had no flavor.

Their food is so good and especially for their cheap prices. They're my go to for Chinese food. I almost always order the General Tso chicken but I've tried many dishes. The egg rolls and steamed dumplings are delicious and always a must.

The woman on the phone was rude, she may had been busy or having a bad day but other than that my food was fresh and amazing. Who ever made it needs a raise <3. And my delivery driver was so kind and polite! Was so happy for my meal. Thank you No 1. Kitchen I love your prices and your food! Will always order from your store.

Their food is amazing. Way better than the route 60 one. My INLY complaint is the nasty crab rangoons. They even fold them funny now. They’re always too tough to even bite through and I used to order 3 orders at once and eat them. Do better please!!

The food was just so bland, sesame chicken tasted like plain chicken, the pepper steak was bland too. We also had a side of fried dumplings that were not up to standard. Don't know if they're just having an off day or a new cook. Whatever the case this time we should have had something different like my wife wanted. I know everyone has an off day from time to time. On the other hand we have eaten there quite often, even before the COVID and their food has always been good.

american lady or man i’m not sure which one that works register throws food at kids who come in to pay for their food with their own money. simply bc he didn’t know he had to sign the correct receipt. that was the response I received when i called back to ask. his food was slubg at him through the window. I was then got cussed and screamed at until i ended the call. way to go employee of the month.

Great service, good food and lots of it... fantastic value for money.

Foods good. No dining in..we were disappointed when we arrived. Carry out only. We ate in our car, but I was impressed with the quality and taste. They don't skimp and use real lo-mein noodles. The fried rice isn't an afterthought and tastes great.

The food is always great. But the staff can be less than friendly depending on who you get at the register and if you want it delivered you'd better order way ahead of when you actually want it. Been waiting an hour and they still haven't showed.

A local institution, the best American-Chinese food in the Huntington area! Fresh ingredients, lots of flavor! The chefs clearly know what they're doing; phenomenal wok hei. The prices are reasonable and the quick, no-nonsense service without fake small-talk and unnecessary fake pleasantries is a welcome breath of fresh air when you just want to get in and get your food! The same people have worked here for years and they're all excellent at what they do; this place runs like a fine-tuned machine!

i just wanted to say these people are incredibly rude. i barely had an interaction on the phone with them and they said “sorry we don’t deliver there,” and hung up. they do deliver here, they have done it before. they only are 10-15, NOT EVEN 15 😂😭 minutes away. absolutely awful service and incredibly inconvenient service. boo to you guys fr

Today I went there to pick Up an order for my client. The woman threw the receipt at me and told me to sign it. I didn’t say nothing. I took the pop to my client and told her how the lady was towards me. She called and complained and the woman said she was a manager and told her she couldn’t order there ever again since she complained. So I called and was trying to find out why they told my client there. The woman was very rude to me on the phone also. Also asked why I called her a b****. I never once called her outta name. Needless to say my client and myself will not be back to ever spend money here. The woman was extremely rude. She wouldn’t give me corporate or the bosses info.. my client is very elderly and can’t cook for herself so the days that I’m not there she would order from this place. Now she can’t because this rude woman said she is never allowed to work there again. It’s not right at all and was very unprofessional

Number 1 kitchen in the West end has great food. They tend to have good service except for sometimes it's over an hour before you get your food delivered. Rarely is the food stale and warm.

I love this place. It is clean, the food is delicious, and the service is awesome. The people are awesome. I had a busted out knee, and WhiteWolf was having to help me walk. It was extremely painful. They were thoughtful and had WhiteWolf pull the van up to the door for me when we started to leave, so I wouldn't have to struggle walking too far. They deserve more than 5 stars, though. 🌟

Absolutely the rudest people to speak too. Placed an order for delivery to only be argued with about my where my address is. Then at end after being talked to awful was told I need to call another location because they don't know where my address is. Seriously need to get some customer service skills.

Number 1 Kitchen in the West End is better than the one on route 60. Number 1 Kitchen used to be our favorite but the last few times we have ordered ,it was not that great. I dont know if they have new management or what, but the food is not fresh. Maybe they are trying to cut corners to save money. The fortune cookies are stale and the general chicken is all breading and dry. The rice was fine.

Sweet and sour chicken is just a bunch of fried tiny pieces. Nothing there. All breading. It used to be good and big pieces.

I only order from here they are the closest thing to carry out in New York City. Be sure to checkout their family meals .

Update 8/3/23: Still the best. My review still stands good. One of the best takeout Chinese Food places in the Tri-state. My family has been enjoying this gem for years. Food is ready in less than 15 minutes. Large portions making for great leftovers. Favorite dishes are Curry Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Sweet and Sour Pork. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Didn't like this place a few years ago but they are on point now food is the best around whatever they are doing now keep it up .....and the lady that runs the register always makes me laugh

Food is decent, but staff is rude and non accomodating. They charged a different amount on my card than what was stated at checkout and then were rude and confrontational when calling to correct it. The only offer was for half the incorrectly charged amount and to never order from them again. Very poor customer service from the staff.

This is my go to when I want Chinese. Great food, good price, overall good service. I had a single run in with the reported poor service but that was over a year ago.

You can only carryout or deliver, but the food is cheap, fair portions for the money, and really good. Nothing bad to say.

Take out only. But it's good tasting and they give you plenty. I get the dinners for two and have the leftovers for breakfast the next morning sometimes. I scramble eggs in with the rice. Hardly ever any disappointes.

When my husband talked to them he was told that "his wife needed to learn how to order from the menu", and she implied that I was stupid and didn't know what I was doing. When did that become appropriate behavior for customer service? My husband said he was bringing the food back and wanted a refund. That's when she said ok and you're never allowed to order from here again. Well I don't want to order from there and receive rude customer service all because you all messed up. Everything I've ever ordered from this place always arrived fresh. Compared to it's competition this is a huge deciding factor of what Chinese restaurant we decide to order from. The delivery drivers are always nice and either ontime or before eta. I'll repeat that last part again either ontime or before eta.
