Excellent middle eastern / Iranian food with generous helpings.

When ever we go to Chicago we have to go to this place, the food is amazing, the service is great, the atmosphere is very nice, the owner is very nice too, recommend the Kabob, KASH-KE-BADEMJAN, BARG & JOUJEH,

cosy place and fine authentic persian food. meat quality is top. chicken tawook made of chicken breast is not the best; checken legs is much better.

They are running a total racket on Ubereats. For example they are selling joujeh and koubideh for a $4 markup at first, but then if you want the dish with white rice you have to pay an extra $5 on top of that, so a total of $9 markup for one dish. That's a 45% markup on one dish. If you go to their website, there is no such additional charge when you had rice. Very sketchy way of doing business. If you do go through with them, they don't even provide butter or sumac.

I came to Noon O Kabab with my coworkers for a group dinner two weeks ago, and the food and service was FANTASTIC! We tried a lot of different dishes, and I couldn’t find a fault with any of them. I’ve been craving the food ever since and will certainly be back soon!

My family and I recently dined at Noon O Kabab and we were absolutely impressed! We ordered the Family Platter B, which offered more than enough food for all 5 of us, with leftovers to take home. The standout for me was the Chenjeh, tender and full of flavor, but the Koobideh, Joojeh, and Barg were also incredibly delicious. What really blew us away was the tahdig – very satisfying and crunchy (the right amount lol)! The service was excellent, and the nice decoration/art works and the atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Persian cuisine!

Bad customer service. Specially when we asked for more than 2 bill and they refused!!! It’s not making sense at all. Asked manger about the reason he was more rude than servers. It’s happened with our friends too. !!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Persian restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the authentic dining experience. To start, the Tahdig with Khoresh gheymeh was a delightful dish. The crispy saffron-infused rice was perfectly golden and crunchy, providing a wonderful texture contrast to the rich and flavorful stew served in the center. The Koobideh kebab was another standout, featuring juicy and well-seasoned ground beef, grilled to perfection. The ice cream had a rich texture and was pleasantly fragrant, with just the right amount of sweetness to complement the intense floral notes of the saffron. It brought a refreshing finish to the rich and flavorful meal, making it a must-try! Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to explore the rich and diverse flavors of Persian cuisine.

If I could I would’ve given zero review, worst restaurant ever from the management to the servant they don’t know how to have a customer service no smile or any patients at all and they take 18 percent tax and service fee because they know you would not tip with the way they act with people and you have to pay only two bill for one table never seen that before, not going back there ever and food is not that great it’s like a normal restaurant, don’t waist your money in this restaurant.

This place has the best Persian kabob we’ve had in Chicago. Excellent service. Don’t believe the receptionist if you call ahead. Show up anyway. You won’t regret it. Their freshly baked bread, that’s represented in the restaurant name, further sets this place in the top tier amongst their regional competitors.

Our party of 10 had a great time! Appetizers, drinks and dinner, were all wonderful! Very attentive service and delicious food made for a wonderful dining experience!

Probably the best kabob restaurant in the area, and that’s saying a lot considering the other great options nearby. I love that they have a semi self-service area outside for people who just want to grab a quick meal. You can buy a 2 skewer koubideh rice for $20 and split it into 2 meals, making one of the best value for money meal in Chicago.

How can a Persian restaurant provide no sumac or butter? We added it to the Uber eats note in two places just in case, still nothing. All we got are onions, a lemon slice, and a couple cubes of (goat?) cheese. Most mysterious of all, we also recieved two sides of Mexican spicy salsa. What are we supposed to do with that? We ordered two koobideh combos...where the sumac and butter at bros? Shouldn't even have to ask for it. Highly disappointing which is a shame because the beef koobideh had potential. They also gave what is possibly the tiniest piece of tomato for a Persian dish I've ever seen. And I've probably seen over a thousand. Oh well.

Good food but the surface it takes too long

The main dining room is quite beautiful with friendly staff. Really is a great place to bring your family and have a flavorful Persian meal.

Can't cook a piece of meat to medium rare when you order it that way. Service is abysmal, took our order and dropped off the check that's it, asked for sweet and low for my tea and never brought it! Just looking for a paycheck and a tip but don't want to earn it!

I did not like the welcome dish, also the rice was oily and not well cooked.under the table was not clean although it was not a busy day.

Unfortunately, it was 91 degrees outside and owner wasn't blasting the a/c. Very uncomfortable trying to enjoy your food here. Our waitress was nice and did come by to say they made it cooler in there. By that time we were ready to leave.

My fiance and I come here 3/4 times a month! We love the meat it’s very high quality and the dill rice is so good. Very good hummus and grilled veggies. The staff is always really nice and honest. Love coming here!!!

This is the first time I dined here. I went for my birthday here. I always see so many people dining here so I wanted to try it with my family. Firstly the service was exceptional compliments to Teodora who offered great service and recommendations on the best dishes for my family. Secondly the food was delicious and very satisfying from the pita bread to the rice to the Koubedih skewers. Lastly they surprised me with a wonderful birthday dessert of pistachio ice cream. I'd recommend this place for any occasions.

Nice restaurant, the decoration is well, the food is tasty. It was very crowded on Saturday with lots of families dining in. We had kebab and rice and lintel soup. The parking is limited. You have to park in the street. We will come back again

I have been dining at Noon O Kabab for a long time, probably 20 years. The food and service are always good. It used to be a real value. Some items are still reasonable. However, Charging $30. for salmon and then adding $2 for dill rice along with a restaurant surcharge leaves a bad taste.

The sauce in picture has toooo toooo much oil that when you finish, it'll settle on top that u'll be uncomfortable for few hours ruining the amazing yummy food

My go to place for lunch, generous portions and wonderful atmosphere the food is awesome.

Always a delight. Usually we are here with a group of 6-8 and everyone has a great time and enjoy the food. Very, very generous servings.

First time and got take out, was not disappointed! The food was delicious, the meat was tender, the chicken was juicy, and the hummus was delicious! I didn’t realize the entree came with pita and I went ahead and ordered extra. I now have a great big stash of pita (and I’m not complaining 😁) Highly recommend!

I rarely leave food place reviews. But this place warranted one and for good reason. It is awesome! The food is always consistently good. We have been ordering from here for a few years. I’ve only had good experiences. We’ve had them make food for small parties and the guests rant and rave how good the food is from here. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t give this place a shot. Also super friendly and competent on the phone when taking orders.

We grabbed a casual dinner here during a trip to Chicago and were pleased with everything we ordered! My favorite was the aush reshteh and the kashke bademjan. Can’t wait to go back!

7/7/2024 I'm trying to check out reviews about people who mentioned food is good. I'm wondering about it! I have ordered two skewers of koubideh . I can almost confirm that two skewers are frozen kufta and brought from market like any fast frozen food are made in home if I am in hurry. Instead of that no seasoning at all, and order came late even it was not that crowded. Please prepare a real ground beef not from a cheap frozen box.

Food is good, however the quantity served did not match prices. We visited on 4th of July and the they were so disorganized that we had to wait for our food for at least half hour and then we had to ask a couple of times for bill to be brought. It took them almost half an hour for them to bill us.

Noon Kabab is hands down one of my favorite spots to visit in Albany Park. The relaxed space invites you to hang out, read a book or just enjoy conversation with friends while grabbing a bite to eat. The food is absolutely delicious with insane portions (I can usually eat the rice for three separate meals!) and the pricing absolutely makes sense for the quality of food you receive. Service is excellent and everyone is welcoming. There's also a separate fine dining room for special occasions. I love, love, love this restaurant 🥰

Wonderful, just go back from Sunday afternoon lunch/dinner. Read review in Sun-Times and decided to check it out. Greeted by the owner coming in and he complimented me on my shoes. Olive appetizer was delicious. JouJeh Koubideh great. Ground sirloin even better. Can't wait to back and try more. Also,plenty to take home and prices were reasonable. Big bank for your buck and tasty as can be YUMM.

Delicious Persian food in a beautiful dining room. Service was phenomenal and we got to try lots of things we would not have experienced elsewhere. The family size platters are huge and very delicious if you’re up for the challenge.

Picked up food to go, so not sure about service and atmosphere. But can for sure say the food was very delicious! I ordered for a party and everyone commented on how flavorful it was.

Food taste great! Service can be somewhat garbage. Until, they’ve confirmed their mistake. Then they want to give you and offer what they couldn’t or forgot. My problem isn’t the forgotten items or their mistakes. Anyone can make an error. It’s more about how they approach the mistakes. They will first argue or respond as if that’s not their fault. Then go ask about it to someone else. 🙄 Like why are you arguing with the customer?!

Absolutely delicious! I came here with a very large group and the staff did a really great job managing all of us! I had never had Persian food before but it made me want to have it many times again!

I have eaten here more times than I can remember. Food is 5 out of 5. But service suxs. Now they charging 2.5% cc charge. I looked around the register and no where they have a sign saying there will be a charge. I noticed it on the receipt after paying for food. Credit card charge is cost of running a business. I’m fed up with restaurants charging ridiculous amount for cc. I noticed they have new Point of sale system (POS). A lot of people who don’t run a business don’t know that a lot of these POS system are free for restaurants as long as they use their cc processing. POS system charge them high credit card processing fee and they end up transferring to customer. In the end it’s a win win for restaurant. Free POS and they don’t have to pay credit card fees. My average ticket is $80 to $100 here, I’m not willing to pay 2.5% cc fee on top of what I spend here. Anyone should not be happy to pay cc fee when they already spending or spent hundreds of dollars here. Their average dish is roughly $20, they should have a minimum cc charge instead of charging every customer 2.5% They lost a long time customer today.

I dined at Noon O Kabab and absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. They have a nice array of Persian cuisine that is perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented by the chefs. I had actually gone back a few days later to treat my pallet to this magnificent cuisine.

Excellent and tasty food, excellent service, in my opinion, if you want to enjoy your life and have a healthy and high-quality food , you should go to this restaurant.

I've had two monster wraps here, both vegetarian options and I have to say. There is no other restaurant that compares to noon-o.

Not sure of the good reviews. Tasteless,specially joojeh. Will never come here again. Do not come here if looking for a real Persian kebab taste. It may only be ok for those who have not tried real Persian food before. Old tables and inside was not classy. Even tables were not of a similar set. Also why is the tip bottom there for the area that has absolutely zero service? We even took our water pitcher ourselves from the fridge.

The restaurant is modest, but it is truly Gulf and full of good food. It is suitable for one visit only and will not be repeated. The barg kabab was delicious. It was tender. Only sometimes you could taste olive oil which was not pleasant to me for a barg kabab. The chenje was juicy. The koobideh was fatty and it was not tasty. The rice needed more butter in my opinion. The welcome plate was good.

For when we want a taste of home! Service that used to throw friends off has come sooo far since pre COVID era. Now the nicest people ever work there.

Worst experience ever! I called the day before and said I need a reservation but they said you can get it as walk-in service but when I got there they said I have to wait 50 minutes. Shame!

I give up on this former favorite of mine. Sad. Chicken dry rice okay. No falafel in my lunch special! Also the baba ganoush is old. They charge too much ad it was almost gone bad for the 2md time. No bread give had b to ask.

The best Persian food in Chicago. We were visiting my daughter in Chicago from San Francisco . They were packed when we arrived on a Friday night and we had to go to their smaller dining hall. Food was excellent the service was amazing ! They welcomed us with grace and hospitality and great food ! Highly recommend it.

Dining room at this place is an awesome experience that almost makes you feel like you are in another world. The food is equally awesome especially eggplant and lamb dishes. While the wine list was just OK, the full bar is very much appreciated. Pomegranate ice cream is a must try as well. Highly recommended.

Thank you noon kabob for catering to my daughter’s first holy communion. We live 50 miles away and hoped they were in the range for delivery service. The food was phenomenal , our guests were extremely happy with the food taste and overall quality. The food was delivered hot and the meat is high quality. Thank you again

I love this place very authentic! Excellent food, both in quality and quantity. Wonderful staff! I wish I lived closer. I could see myself eating there everyday!!

I would advise Never to eat here. We ordered the family mixed grilled platter. The meat and chicken were steamed and not grilled as stated on the menu. It tasted old and slimy/sticky. The rice had hair in it and we returned it back. The bread was old and stale, like reheated over again and not fresh. Overall the waitress was rude as she charged us for a soup that we returned that my son found gross and did not eat. She said he touched it so she had to charge us. We did not take any food to go as we left it all there as is fully loaded plates of food. The waitress said she would feed the employees the food that we left because it was a complete waste to toss away, which I could understand. The food was just completely off and not right. It has gone downhill from what I used to remember. Mind you I paid the full complete bill over $200. I paid for something I didn’t eat or like at all. Never again

Had a good dining experience. Went for lunch. Ordered dolma and falafel. Both were tasty. Ordered meet and shrimp dish. Came with mixed rice and veggies. Food came out hot and in good Time.

I can’t rate the food as I didn’t even get a chance to taste it. We were seated about 2:10 for a late lunch, I informed the hostess we had a stroller if we can have a table off to the side as to not disturb anyone, we were seated in the tightest space and had to carry the stroller over the chairs. We asked for a highchair and they brought one and just squeezed it between the other chairs instead of removing the chair so there is room. It took about 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge our table and the entire time they were seating other tables. Then the server came with water and I asked for ice and it wasn’t provided. I let her know we need another minute to decide, 15 minutes passed and she walked passed our table 4-5 times and didn’t even look at us. She was back at the hostess station and we made eye contact and she didn’t come for another 5 minutes. The other customers were rude and no one had even a lick of proper customer service. Just terrible atmosphere, uncomfortable and just rude.

Food was ok .. not much flavor… Service was not good. Server was not attentive. Our dishes were cold. Our dishes were not picked up when dessert was served. Atmosphere was just ok. It was super hot inside. The women’s bathroom was dirty. Smelled real bad ..

The kabobs are so so good. The portions were good and it came with Rice and a small cup of hummus with pickled onions grilled tomato and bread covering the whole plate.

Amazing dining experience. Met the owner, such a great gentleman. Staff was super efficient and food was displayed and served to perfection. Would definitely recommend . I was so pleased I returned with a group the following evening
