I'm now buying it for my friends as well! Delicious pastries! The employees are kind and helpful. We look forward to going back.

They are always so kind and friendly. The Portuguese rolls are to die for and I share with others. We keep them in freezer and pop them frozen in air fryer🥖

I finally found this place. I've been following then on Instagram for a while but never had the time to go to rhe store. I found all I wanted plus delicious food and the best part - amazing people. Definitely part of my shop routine now and spreading the word for sure.

Adorable store featuring wonderful traditional Portuguese foods, including tinned fishes, jams, cheeses, etc.

Very nice but hard to find place, tucked-in in a parking lot in Furniture Row in San Marcos. The owners (I suppose), João and Miguel, are class-A people, with us Brazilian and Portuguese customers in mind at all times. The foods are of good quality and fresh, while the small Portuguese ornaments are cute. Go for it!

This is a great family owned business. They take the time to ask how you are and show that they care. The desserts are awesome as well!!

Cinco estrellas! I LOVE visiting O Prego! I say "visiting" because its more than just a shopping experience. Joao is so friendly, kind and we always end up swapping stories of growing up Portuguese. Its almost like visiting with family. We always get some pasteis de nata as gifts for friends, stock up on Sumol de Ananas (my son's favorite), and Chourico Caseiro, and Queijo Casteloes. They have all the favorites that remind us of "home". Obrigado Joao e ate a proxima!

A truly wonderful experience! So many exciting , authentic, tasty bites, including sausages, true morcela, other unique meats, delectable sweets and an incredible array of Portuguese and Brazilian cheeses not to mention a variety of native and other delicacies. Additionally, there are so many fun gift items as well! The best part, though is the owner, Joao Da Silva. He is the kindest, sweetest most knowledgeable gentleman.. he makes shopping at O Prego seem like visiting an old family friend. I truly recommend stopping at this wonderful shop. You won’t be sorry!
