Not sure where to start! And not sure why this place isn't rated 5 out of 5 ! We were a little skeptical due to the fact that the menu had Mexican with Italian and multiple other choices. With that being said I have to say this was one of our favorite restaurants in Ketchikan. My husband had the prime rib tacos and I had the chicken marsala both were absolutely delicious! The customer service was above and beyond and the food came out very quickly. We are Looking forward to going back before the end of our stay in Ketchikan.

Let’s start here with what was excellent. Breadsticks - incredible. 10/10. Sopapillas - not on the dessert menu, but served on request. 15/10. Best sopapillas we’ve ever had. Service was very good, our water cups were always full except at the very end, food came quickly. Meals: my husband and I both had street tacos a la carte which were very good, but not incredible (whereas the breadsticks and sopapillas were genuinely incredible). It was delicious and we will definitely go again on our next trip to Ketchikan.

Who likes it, repeats it. We went twice, Mexicans, Peruvians, Argentine and Colombians. Everyone ordered something different, there is an option for everyone. Each order of food was very well presented and had good portions. The staff is very attentive and speaks Spanish and English (I don't know if they speak another language). The atmosphere is really cool, Nice decor, very organized, and the view is beautiful. Wherever you look there are particular details. You can reach the site walking from the port. The menu is quite extensive between Mexican and Italian food. The drinks are excellent, even fine liqueurs. Rate with five could be a risk but it was my experience so I will do it. Hope all of u have the same experience, And if you have any recommendations you can make them as they are very open to comments.

I have been to Ketchikan several times over the past 10 years, and I finally found a restaurant that matches the awesomeness of it's view. The food is fantastic, the owner is front and center, and the service is attentive. 5/5 stars and worth a visit!

BEST wait service in Ketchikan. Didn’t have to beg to be seated, hound anyone for refills, chase down the check, etc. Great staff, well kept up restaurant, clean restrooms.

We had the chile rellenos and carne asada. Excellent! The mango margarita was also a must have!

Visiting family, loved the paintings on the wall. Beautiful location. House marg was perfect! Alfredo was rich and creamy. Highly recommend!

Food: SO GOOOOOD!!! Service: Slow, perhaps it was an off day Atmosphere: Really great I had the El Patron Molcajetes, easily enough food for two to three people. You know that feeling when you order fajitas and they come sizzling and popping. Now imagine it's a bowl of soup, scratch that, a boiling cauldron of amazingness. I mentioned they were slow, however, in my case, it was zero issue since it's a great place to hang with friends and chill. Such a great spot, come and try to prove me wrong.

Hands down the best meal I had here, maybe the best meal I've had in years! Great pasta, Italian, and Mexican food and drinks.

This place was amazing, my raviolis were God's gift to man. My salad was delightful aswell. The decor of this place is outstanding, you are welcomed into the building with a gorgeous painting of Neptune. This will be a place for my children to return to, and my children's children to return to aswell.

Had a wonderful lunch here before leaving. We ordered a taco plate, and a small Hawaiian pizza. The tacos were amazing and fresh. The pizza crust was fantastic, but the toppings were very one flavor. The service was great and the outside dining was a plus, we watched seals play while eating.

My families fav place to go for mexi food,and love that they have many other options if you want something other than mexi food. Nrver had a bad meal there, the view of the water is great and everyone is so nice. Love that the owner is 100% involved and will see him working along side his staff! I was so excited to try Ocean View as I've been missing Mexican food so much while I'm up here, but it was a bit of a disappointment. The food looked and smelled amazing, but the guac had an off taste to it and not enough flavor and it was the same issue with the street tacos. It wasn't busy at all, with maybe 5 other tables, but I felt like my server kept ignoring me. Still, not the worst restaurant I've ever been to but I probably won't be back.

I could come here everyday and never get sick of this place. Hands down the best pizza in Ketchikan. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. A small will run you about $10 and it’s bigger than a large anywhere else in town. I still haven’t finished one and I’m a big boi. Also best atmosphere, view, and Mexican food. #buzzybooth

Food & atmosphere was nice , Service is okay they messed up in one of our drinks and one dish, it might be because they were busy at that time. But we enjoyed.

Got the seafood fettuccine and it was the absolute best I’ve ever had. This restaurant has a very friendly, engaged staff and obviously I loved the food. I can’t wait to visit Ketchikan and Ocean View again!

my favorite place in ketchikan! prices aren’t as bad as people will tell you, and portions are great ! the food is some of the best in town as well. i reccomend the chimichanga, mushroom swiss burger, and chicken marsala !

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I normally get the fajitas, everytime I hear the sizzling of the hot plate as my server brings it over I know I am in for a treat! Plenty of meat & cheese sauteed in peppers & onions. I often get the Patron Fajitas, which is shrimp, bacon, beef & chicken. It's always excellent. If you are lucky enough the owner will stop by your table and make you feel like you are a guest at his home. Did you know they have an espresso machine? He made me a cappuccino that was as good as any I have had at any specialty coffee house. On a sunny day when the patio is open I get to eat with a view that is almost as good as the food. The service is outstanding. Attentive, polite & pleasant. This is a local, family owned jewel in Ketchikan. If you are a tourist or a local this is where you want to eat.

It was a nice place and atmosphere. Margaritas were on point. The guava mojito was really good as well. We ate the Mexican food. Maybe next time I'm up this way, I'll try the Italian food.

Excellent front of house service. Besides well thought out recipes, the attention to quality is evident. The Mexican / Italian meals are prepared with equal skill. A very good value. Consistent. Outstanding menu items: Frijoles con Puerco. Quessabirria Tacos. Anything Carnitas. Pasta Alfredo Spaghetti Work boots welcome.

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The window seat was a definite plus as we were able to watch seals play out front. The food was hot and delicious.

This place is different. It is a heavily decorated themed restaurant. The themes clash and contrast, not in a bad way, just very abruptly. The food is outstanding, great mexican food. Never tried their Italian stuff, just never really looked that appealing. I got the Mar Y Tierra the last time I was there.

The food was great but terrible customer service. The waitress did not check on us to see if we needed our drinks refilled and before I left, the waitress, walked up to me and told me next time I come in to have more change which I thought was extremely rude maybe because she expected a tip

Was very pleased to stumbled upon this place. The interior was very clean and appeared to have been recently restored. We regularly eat Mexican food so we’re not strangers to it. We were amazed at the flavor and the amount served on the lunch menu. Ice cold beer on tap. We had a great lunch there.

Food was amazing!!🔥 the wait time after eating and before getting the check was a bit longer than I was hoping but not at all terrible. I'd say this is well worth the stop if you're hoping for top quality Mexican food and generous portions. (I left with enough leftovers for a second meal!) Great staff, ambiance, and location- 10 out of 10, highly recommend

Beast Mexican-Italian food in Ketchikan. I had the chicken Parmesan. Chicken was perfect tender and chewy. Pasta and sauce were excellent.

We love coming to Ocean View. We are amazed at how much better it is this year. We’ve gotten several dinners but our favorite is by far the Calzones and Alfredo dishes. My favorite drink is the Mango Rita!!!😋

I've tried eating here several times, the menu looks like it has some amazing dishes. A LOT of dishes, this place isn't sure weather it wants to serve Mexican or Italian food. Unfortunately, I've been underwhelmed with every choice I've made here, and everything is just kind of mediocre. The prices are on the high side all things considered, and the service takes awhile no matter how many patrons. But it seems to be a consistent and reliable experience.

Only itanian/mexican restaurant we've ever been to. We ordered burgers and fries! They were good.

Luis is an amazing server. So suave and cool. The presentation of drinks was amazing!! Food is on point! I will be referring all my friends to this awesome establishment!

Absolute garbage. Food was average quality, ridiculously over salted, and cost $30 for a burrito with beans and rice on the side. The beans and rice was an extra $6 charge. The server was absent minded and lazy....bad combo. I can make better food at home.

We visited Ketchikan, from Anchorage. My fiance told me this place had the BEST molcajetes and he was right! I had the Iguana. It was very flavorful and so good. Just the right amount of spice for my taste buds. There is a lot of items on the menu that I wanted to try. I told my fiance we need to come back to Ketchikan just so we can eat here.

Best tacos in town! Go for the lunch special, you won’t regret it.

A perfect place for a family of 5 to go eat- Mexican, Italian, some Greek you should be able to find something there. They give free chips and salsa and keep bringing it to you - we had to tell them to stop. Portions are good sized- you won't walk away hungry, if you do its your fault.

Always an incredible atmosphere, amazing food, and enjoyable experience! The quesa barrias are a MUST! And the margaritas are a favorite for sure!

Good food, good portions, and priced decently for the island. Stay away from the bar…. A few drinks will double your bill.

Husband and I came in for a quick trip. He loves mexican food. Can't believe we have never come in before. We would fly back just for this again! Restaurant is clean, food amazing, the decor was impressive. Yummy!! If you get to Ketchikan make it in for dinner, or a drink. We were treated very well.

Interesting restaurant with both Mexican and Italian cuisine. I had the birrias and they were good. The entire place smells like fabuloso and some strong scents.

This place has it all. Mexican, Italian, and pizza. I enjoy the pizza yet to try the rest. Great place for takeout for sure.

Food is always amazing here! Italian or Mexican, I have a hard time deciding what to have because they are both great. Service is iffy, it was pretty slow when we were there today around 3 and took a bit for orders/refills etc. but staff is always friendly. The views are great especially when the sun peaks out.

I wish I could remember the name of the prawn dish I had when I visited; they were the best prawns I've ever tasted. Flavorful without being too spicy. They had a special section of street tacos and other specialties and the prawn dish was a part of that section. We had a group of five, all of us had different dishes and all of us raved about our choices. My daughter had just turned 21, so she was treated to a birthday serenade and sopapillas for dessert. All five of us dug into the dessert and it was perfect for the group. It was SO GOOD, too. I was leery about going to eat there; Ocean View is a mexican and italian restaurant, which didn't seem to go well together, but three of us had mexican, two had italian and all were true to their origins and tasty.

My #1 go to if have the option. Wish they'd bring back their Halibut Olympia, was the best in town. Large variety of Mexican & Italian dishes, salads, & hamburgers. Something for everyone. Regardless of what you order, you won't be disappointed.

Can't believe I paid $19.99 for a chicken taco salad that didn't have the chicken. The lettuce is brown. Terrible. They didn't want to make it right. I'll never eat there again. Waste of money.

Great atmosphere. The food is pretty good with tons of choices with Mexican and Italian food being the main choices. The service is ok although it took awhile to get our food but when it came it was good. Prices are a little on the spendy side with our entrees being over $30 for fajitas and mojitos being around $15.

Honestly I’ve been here almost every other week for as long as I have been here. The food is fantastic, the view is even better. Perfect for a date night or just a casual dinner with friends. A bit expensive but it’s completely worth it. Chips and salsa for the table complimentary. Amazing cocktails. Will keep going all the time
