Went here with the wife pretty early in the morning. Grabbed a quick drink and the bartender let us access much needed internet.

This is a SPOT!!! Mary, the bartender is the best, a quiet local place with nice shots and good vibe. DONT MISS IT. Get yourself a mystery shot, and let the fun begin!

Had the best time here with my family and also with some absolute legendary locals. Many ice cold beers were had, and with the jukebox stacked and the pool table open—I can almost remember dancing around the bar while using the pool stick as a microphone. I woke up the next morning with a bit of a headache, a new Facebook friend, and an absolutely beautiful Office Bar hoodie. And memories of course. It was great fun and a no judgment atmosphere here. My kind of bar!

The dive bar of dive bars! One pool table. A dozen or so bar top seats. Nachos or peanuts. But very reasonably priced drinks! Along the main road, 15 minute or so walk from the cruise terminal, ya should check out the office. Views of the water. Plus hang up a dollar bill on the ceiling to commemorate your trip!

Walked in the bar, sat there for 10 minutes. Completely ignored lady was busy taking care of one other group. Other people walked in. She wasn’t even looking around, oblivious walked out never even said anything to me possibly I was the wrong shade of color. If I could give less than one star, I would.

From Minneapolis, on a cruise stop. Walked from Icy Strait port, only 1 mile. Watch for the tiny bar sign, bay side. Great service, local spirits, and a local bar atmosphere. Kid friendly as well, in case, parents need a break too. A worthwhile stop off the ship, meeting locals, listening to their stories, and avoiding the gift shop crowds. :)

Great wee bar and walkable from the port if you need to, even with a broken leg. I only stopped for a drink or 3 which were slightly expensive for me (understandably given location) but were cans or bottles. Lovely bar girl (owner's daughter I think) who was kind enough to take a picture. If I am ever back in Hoonah, I will definitely come here and will try cooked food next time.

The staff at this bar was fantastic. Super friendly and introduced us to Alaskan beer. A great place to just hangout, slow down and relax. WiFi access was also a bonus.

A fabulous place. "Real" Alaska. Named by Esquire Magazine as "One of the ten best bars in North America ". A well earned award. Very friendly staff. Mary and Jim the owners make you feel like a "regular" even if it's your first visit! The Alaskan King Crab is terrific. Very fresh and very reasonably priced. I once observed a woman ask Jim, "Is the crab fresh?". "Fresh?", said Jim reaching into a barrel, pulling out a HUGE crab, "Fresh, Ma'am, it's alive. You don't get any fresher than that". The Office Bar. Easily accessible from the cruise ship pier by local shuttle. A "must" for any visitor to Hoonah, Icy Straits.

Foods are okay, service is very slow. Do not come here if there are more than 1 ship docking on the pier. They are overwhelmed and you will only get your order 30 minutes or longer. The good thing is that you can get free wifi while you are waiting for your order. Ask for wifi password if you need one and they will hand you a little piece of paper containing the password.

"Don't worry honey I'm working late at the office" one of the longest running jokes in town. There's only two places to enjoy a beverage in the office and the lodge people cab back a d forth to each. The office has wifi and simple foods. Pizza. Nachos. Pool table juke box. Nice view of the harbor in the summertime they serve crab. Like all bars in small town Alaska. Expect some drama late night. Best to clear out. And watch out for bears at night....take a cab. Have a good time!

What a nice place in this small town. VERY friendly service by the staff and the customers were equally as friendly. Stopped in to catch a football game and the staff was very helpful in locating the channel and the game. Sampled a few 'munchies' and had some beers. A great time but my team lost! Also interesting to find out this bar was listed in GQ Magazine in 2006 as one of the best bars in the US! Who knew?

Service was abrupt and just short of rude. Reasonable price on the whole dungeoness crab.. $5 less than the touristy spot at port. Servers could use some guidance on hospitality and smiling more.

We stopped by Icy Straight Point on a cruise. We wandered over to Hoonah for a pleasant walk. We went to the Office Bar for lunch. It is a simple little bar that serves a few food items which include crab cakes, nachos, chowder, and fresh Dungeness crab. The bar overlooks the water so it is a nice view. They serve a pretty good selection of beers. I opted for an Alaska summer ale which was very good. We shared a crab which came with a large helping of potato salad for $25, which was a great meal and the crab was so sweet and tasty. I would highly recommend the short 1.5 mile walk from Icy Straight Point to Hoonah to get the crab here (significantly cheaper and nicer atmosphere than what is available near the cruise ship). The walk is pleasant and the reward at the end is worth the walk.

Stopped in here last week. Had the pleasure of meeting some locals(Dotty is great) and the owner. Heard all kinds of interesting stories about the history of the town while also enjoying some great Alaskan Brewing company beers and the jukebox (loaded with 50s/60s classics).

Local, organic coffee roasted right in front of me. Who could ask for more? My cappuccino was delicious without being overpriced.
