Old Bridge Cafe in South Salt Lake - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

I tried it today after reading reviews. I ordered the Old Bridge Platter. It is so good. It's a platter for two people, so I will be getting a few meals out of it. I will be going back. The gentleman at the restaurant was very nice. The sausages are really good!

Being a cafe, the ambiance wasn't as a restaurant though the service of the couple who own the place almost made up for that. Left with a full belly for less than $50 for two.people. got the platter to try Bosnian food for the first time and wasn't disappointed. Will be back.

Pretty mid. Food was clearly microwaved, if you’re into that. Schnitzel was fire but would have been more so if it wasn’t microwaved. Service was not that good, it was just one person working and he didn’t check up on us or refill our water.

5/5 would recommend if you like Mediterranean and Eastern Eutopean food. Absolutely delicious. The Old Bridge Platter is a great way to sample multiple dishes and understand the different flavors. This is homestyle food so it looks like what your Eastern European grandmother has made for you in her kitchen, and this is what makes it amazing (my Eastern European grandmother cooked for 2 days for every special Holiday). I felt like home. Also, the folks in the restaurant could not have been nicer and more welcoming and explained the dishes and pronunciation. Also, get the layered cake - it's an experience

Family own restaurant Balkan, Yugoslavian, Bosnian food. Delicious! Portions are great. Service is so good, you always want to go back.

Phenomenal cevapi, extremely kind owner and good prices.

The food is incredible! I am now going to have to ride my bike out there (13 miles), and brave not being hit on 33rd so I can have some of the most amazing Turska Kafa! The Bosnian style hamburger was massive; yet, I couldn't stop eating it because the flavors were magnificent. The owner was super friendly, and if you are the only table there he will gladly walk you through the menu and provide recommendations. If you are in a 10 mile radius of South Salt Lake then you have to eat here. Thems are the rules.

I cant explain how great their service was! Super friendly to talk to and their food is as excellent as their customer service! We ordered the old bridge platter, cevachi 🤤 and a turkish coffee for 3. 2 hours later and I am still thinking about it!

Visited on a whim. So glad we did. Food is great. When I told them I had never tried Bosnian food, they went above and beyond to explain the menu and even cater to a gluten allergy. Yes, they can make some of the dishes gluten free. I had no idea I liked Bosnian food. They took the time to show us how to drink Turkish coffee. What a treat!

What a wonderful place! It has been a favorite of my brother's for years and I finally got to try it. Now they will have both of us as regular customers.

Beyond yummy and a great value shop, the food is genuinely amazing. “The best food in Utah” according to me. From amazing cabbage rolls, delicious ćevapi, and a great vibe, this place has all your Balkan food needs. The servers are kind and quick, and, “the food is all made from scratch,” it’s so good. I’d recommend the old bridge platter, any of the amazing drinks, and a slice of cake of baklava to wash it all down.

We had the Old Bridge Platter for two and loved it all! I know nothing of Bosnian cuisine but I'm a fan now.

All 3 of us got food poisoning the next day. Based on reviews, I think that was abnormal.. there was always only 1 additional customer than us. We got the cabbage wrap in soup the platter with steak, coffee & cake. Overall, it was really good, just the food poisoning wasn't. We all really liked the sour cream onion sauce for the platter dish and the bread served with it. He gave us a refill of the bread since the platter had quite a decent amount of protein.

This is one of my hidden gem places to go for a business lunch or a quiet date with my wife. It is like a little trip to Bosnia. I always order a steak kebob with the rice and bread. It is amazing. The staff are attentive and friendly.

The food was sooo good and the service was great!I’ve never really ever liked steak or chicken very much but those kebabs were to DIE for! I definitely recommend coming here. The food is really good and fairly priced; there were 4 of us eating there and we only spent $63 total not including tip and the food prepositions were large.

I felt as if I was back in my home country where racism still exists. Being of a gypsy decent, was originally adopted from Eastern European country. The environment I felt when I walked in the restaurant, I felt as if every body got quiet and whispering of he must be of gypsy decent, I could understand Bosnian and knew they were saying. When I was greeted by the owner I felt as if he was smug and rude. When I got my meal it was not cooked all the way through. So I though maybe if I order out and pick it up my self it would be different. Well I gave it about a week later and the same treatment and the food was not cooked all the way. The food was bland and not cooked properly. I hope you don’t experience the same experience.

Delicious and authentic, Old Bridge never disappoints. Cevapi and pljeskavica are homemade, fresh, and filling, with excellent kajmak and ajvar to accompany. Plus there's a small selection of import snacks to round out the experience.

Really great place to eat. We’ve never had Bosnian food before so I was a little nervous. It was SO GOOD! We got the platter which had a little of everything. I couldn’t decide what I liked best. We brought our kids (6 & 4 yo) and they both found plenty they liked. My 4 yo boy loved the shish kabob & both kids loved the sausage. My 6 yo girl loved the pita bread and rice. Everything was SO GOOD. The man serving us was so kind. He brought our kids extra sausages & some chocolate bars at the end. We also got the cake and split it 4 ways, which was plenty after the platter.

Best kebabs I've ever had. All the food tasted ancestral. Better than your grandma makes it. Turkish coffee was excellent. Loved the owner and his partner, too. Great vibes.

Went for dinner after having not been for a few years and it was as good as or better than I remember. The Bosnian hamburger is very satisfying. The owners are very friendly and everything is well maintained and inviting. I look forward to going again soon.

Absolutely delicious food at a neighborhood restaurant!
