Sitting here drinking a cup of Burundi that I just made with a pour over filter. Doesn't get much better than this. So glad I stopped in! The proprietors are really friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is definitely old world in a good way.

I have come here a few times, and each time gets better! The owners are super friendly, and they can talk your ear off about coffee! They really appreciate a good cup, and it shows in the quality. They have hot or cold brews available for takeaway - with your normal additives for the side. They use the specialty nut creamers for those who are unable to drink dairy.

Stumbled into this tucked away roastery and had no expectations. Ended up trying a few samples and bought a bag of their ASIA whole bean. Well. My wife and I audibly gasped during our first double shot of espresso pour. This coffee is CREAMY. Like liquid gold level crema. Like heaven in a cup. I make a double shot espresso latte every single day and this coffee has blown my mind. Smooth, super low acid, full of flavor, unbelievably velvety. I can't really compare it to any other bean we've tried...this roastery has forever ruined other coffee for me 😂 What an absolute surprise this place is. I can't wait to come back and stock up. Update: Now on my 6th purchase. I can't drink any other coffee. This might be the best coffee in the entire world.

This review is 5 months overdue! Last fall, I was planning a Wedding Welcome bag for the guests staying over for my niece's wedding in Peddlar's Village. The couple are coffee and tea lovers so it seemed only natural to check out Old Village Roastery. Roger was a humongous help making sure I had the right amount, the right back and that it was roasted only days before the big event. Plus, when I visited from Colorado, we got a personalized tour and tasting. He spent over 2 hours with us and we had a blast! All around great product and people - THANK YOU!

Stop in and watch them roast coffee green beans. They will explain the process, let you taste all the roasted flavors and then you can decide if you are taking some home.

Old Village Roastery is a must-visit for coffee lovers looking for a unique experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they take the time to explain the origins and nuances of their coffee. The roastery's signature touch is the use of open wood fire to roast their coffee beans, which if you're lucky enough they will be roasting coffee during your visit. The American blend, in particular, is a standout for myself.

This coffee shop is truly a destination! Owners are passionate about their store and their coffee, to the point of development unique methods of roasting on-site to ensure maximum flavor. Was impressed with the entire operation and would definitely recommend this local coffee roaster the next time you're in the area (it's accessible from Peddler's Village in Lahaska).

What a Great Flavor Experience! Everything about Old Village has a spark of joy: As you walk in, you're greeted by medieval music, lush knight themed decor, the smell of fresh roasted coffee, and the trickle of a waterfall: It's wonderful. The coffees, all of them, have such rich flavor, all I needed to add was sugar. Absolutely worth visiting if you're at Peddler's Village, or in Lahaska.

Amazing Experience and Great Coffee ☕ Go see Roger and talk about how cool it is to roast coffee the old world way over an open flame 🔥 The kids loved their scavenger hunt while we learned about different coffee beans and world regions. Thank you for providing such an awesome experience!

My husband and I were nearby at Peddlers Village & we were looking for a cup of coffee and happened to wander in. Turned out to be an amazing find! The owners are extremely welcoming, walk you thru the roasting process with a tasting, and the atmosphere is beyond compare. Wish we lived closer so we could go in every weekend! Thankfully, you can order online.

We walked into this super beautiful roastery in peddler’s village and were immediately awed by the beauty of this place. Its maintained and decorated so nicely that you’d want to walk in just to look. They have amazing coffee hand picked from all over the world with tasting samples. Literally, all over. The owners are a super nice couple who also stay dressed up to fit within the environment, seriously putting in effort. Had a great chat and great coffee! Such places are hard to come by! Just lovely!

Absolutely be sure to visit here or order online if you have the opportunity. The coffee has a unique toasty flavor due to their roasting method. More importantly, however, is their emphasis on customer service and making every customer feel like family. When I walked in, I was greeted cordially and introduced to their different beans and roasts, as well as offered a number of samples. You can tell that the owners aren't there to just make money; they're there because they love roasting coffee and talking about it with their customers! Thanks Old Village Roastery for a great visit.

I hopped in on a whim and bought a pound of wholebean Sumatra and a little bag of Kona as a special treat for myself. I have been brewing it all week, and the flavor is excellent. I will definitely get some more next time I am in the area. Thanks for keeping the art of roasting alive in Bucks County!

Came across this coffee house when we visited Peddlers Village. The architecture of the shop is very nice & well thought of. The aroma of the coffee smelled so good & we were greeted by one of the owners (family owned business) and gave us a brief summary of what they offer. We ordered bold coffee &12 oz cup costs $3.

Absolutely gorgeous place, the greatest gem in Peddler's Village! If you are a fan of coffee, the smell alone will satisfy you. Coffee was dark and delicious, truly one of a kind. I loved watching them roast the beans in the fire, and the interactive Scavenger Hunt was so incredibly charming, I found myself squealing like a child as I found the items around the shop. The owners were so nice and welcoming, I don't think I stopped smiling the whole time. Thank you for a lovely experience :)

If I were able to give more than five stars, I would--this place is amazing! I had heard about this roastery through customers and coworkers. After stopping in the first time, I've been back every weekend since! Not only is it the most affordable coffee in the entire village, but the atmosphere is simply astounding! It is one hundred and fifty percent the most unique and inviting coffee shop I have ever been in. I myself am a big fan of the rennaisance era, and it's not something that's really seen in the lahaska area. The owners are some of the friendliest, passionate people, they truly care about the drinks they are making, unlike some places in the village. I have been recommending this shop to anyone and everyone that asks, it's truly something one must experience for themselves! I certainly recommend stopping in, you won't regret it 🧡

If you're looking to order some fancy, over priced cup of coffee that requires multiple adjectives to describe it, this won't be a place for you. If you want to be transported however to a different time, where good old fashioned warmth and smile awaits you the moment you stepped in, and will be encourage to linger, then this place should be a stop whenever you're out and about on a weekend in this quaint spot in Bucks County, PA. There's no fancy milk frothing or your misspelled name written on your cup here. There are however earthenware proudly displayed on a wall that mimics a centuries old house facade, with a gentle trickle of water flowing from it's roof. Tastefully stacked crates holds the boxes of region specific sourced, small batch roasted, in house packaged coffee. There's a bar counter that invites you to perch on its cozy barstools while you listen to the master roaster's genuine enthusiasm as he describes how he came up with the concept, the actual forge roasting process, and the main regions in the world where their coffee beans comes from. He segues to the contraption that he made in order to achieve the desired roasting process and ultimately the flavor profiles of each batch of region specific coffee. The pizza oven looking opening behind the counter is not meant for a flattened dough with various toppings; the high heat it produces is utilized in order to penetrate the inside of the beans being roasted so as to bring out the distinct flavor profile. Hints of Caramel, Citrus, Blueberries ( yes, blueberries) awakens your taste buds and olfactory senses. When you enter this place, immediately to your left a trio of aptly labeled pots awaits you to sample the day's brewed batch of region specific coffee. Once you picked a desired region to enjoy the owners will gladly hand you a cup for you to fill ( I highly encourage drinking it black in order to savor the full profile of the coffee beans). The idea of this place is to bring forth the old fashioned way of doing things...to make patrons appreciate what they came for, and walk out with more than just a cup or a box of forge roasted coffee. The concept of sharing knowledge about a core product, and showing the craft that exudes passion and a desire to share it is what ultimately impressed me. Roger and Cheryl you have a gem of a place there...flickering lanterns, Fairy doors and all. 😄

We discovered this wonderful place just adjacent to Peddler's Village where you can sit and enjoy a rich cup of coffee in beautiful surroundings. The Sumatra blend was flavorful and we took home a package of the Americas roast. The "Stoopwafels" were a special treat to eat with the coffee! Love the Olde World cozy interior. A definite destination.

Stopped by yesterday afternoon, and was happy to see that not only was this place open, but they did a really nice job on the design and construction. The owner could not have been nicer, describing the process for selecting the beans and how he then roasts them. I just tried the roast that I purchased, and it has a very unique and tasty flavor profile. Will definitely be back when my supply runs out!
