The ultimate rock dive bar! The atmosphere of metal and punk really makes this bar stand out. Plus the different shows that happen here make Ollie's a change of pace from the onslaught of tired sports bars in the area. It was one of the first places I would practice new stand-up material. I will definitely miss this place once it closes.

I’m from Toronto, here visiting my snowbird parents in Cape Coral. I was so relieved to stumble across this little oasis of art and culture - something I believed Cape Coral to be void of. If you are looking for a great dive bar with friendly people, Ollie’s offers a secret escape from the cultureless sports bars and strip malls that make up this town. The trivia night was a lot of fun.

Bob, a recent arrival in the local music scene, grappled with a history of abuse and ongoing mental health struggles. His initial band offered solace, but their lack of understanding regarding his depression and anxiety ultimately led to a dismissal fueled by a false accusation. Seeking solace through dark, and otherwise inappropriate humor, a misunderstanding at a bar with a patron highlighted the challenges of his coping mechanisms. Life took another turn when a personal crisis resulted in homelessness. Fortunately, a friend offered temporary shelter. However, another friend's manipulation and fabricated stories painted Bob as a predator, leading to a bar ban based on rumors and a social ostracization marked by hostility and threats. Despite the ordeal, Bob persevered. The fabricated stories eventually unraveled, revealing the true perpetrators. Thankfully, Bob found the support he needed to navigate his mental health challenges. This experience underscores the devastating impact of false accusations on innocent individuals, the importance of mental health awareness, and the need for supportive communities.

Recently during the Cape Coral art show, a community family event, this establishment had some bands playing and singing/cursing vulgar language for all to hear. I witnessed people asking the owner to put a stop to it but he didn’t care in the slightest. Glad to know how they feel about the next generation in our community.

Went for the Sunday night open mic comedy. The bar served an awesome fried bologna sandwich. Lots of laughs, cold beer, and a friendly atmosphere.

We played Ollie's Pub Records and Beer in Cape Coral about a week ago and what a cool place with a fun atmosphere. The owner Steve was nice and if your into records and a punk rock this place is where it's at. We didnt get to try the food but it looked and smelled on point. The bathrooms were a lot of fun with plenty of hearty propaganda which we always enjoy. We also had a great time, felt very welcome and played an awesome show. Now they have sandwiches!!! Get the Chastity BLT! Love this bar/ bottle shop/ record store. They have a huge variety of beers and ciders you can drink on site or take home for later. Plus the record store is packed full of great finds. I went on a Friday night and they had live music outside on the patio. 🤘

Ollie’s is an awesome punk music venue and place to meet new people. If you’re searching for a cozy & welcoming alternative scene that happens to draw in a bunch of fantastic folks, look no further. Same deal if you’re a local artist (musical or otherwise) searching for a place to share your stuff. You’ll fit right in at Ollie’s as long as you’re an open-minded person. Bonus: Check out their sandwich menu; there are a bunch of tasty and unique options (although I’ll admit I’m partial to their classic grilled cheese with American).

Went in for a quick drink with 15 minutes to close. Got offered a drink menu by the bartender, and immediately some guy (owner?) barks at us that its last call like he wanted us to leave. It's a cool place so it's a shame.

Love this place. They were easy enough for me to get a gig there with my band. Lots of people turn up depending on who is playing. Expect to see regular bookings by Hellfrost, For The Struggle and TBD. Beer and music, what more do you need? Have a pinball machine, easy access (recommend the back door) and is fun to spend time at.

So I went here to watch my nephew( no conflict Kev) compete in a musical rap contest. I didn't want to drive to downtown Cape (from Ft Myers) on a Sat nite bcz well it's The Cape! That being said... I'm super happy that I got dragged there by the next generation and I had a great time!! Everyone was so friendly and supportive of all the artists! Oh and the cool vinyl shop in the back spoke volumes to my old azz😁

The live music was way too loud and I couldn't hear the bartender at all. It was honestly painful. :( The music sounded great though. Lots of good energy. Pretty expensive drinks though. It has beautiful lighting and very cool decorations. I like the outside seating area.

The best records, beer and live music combo you will ever order can be found at Ollie's. They have an open mic night, comedy, karaoke and even a night when you can bring your own vinyl to rock the house. This place draws the best musician artists the area has to offer and is a must visit for music fans. Come hang with the cool kids at this must visit venue.

Great little hangout for the rockers!

This is a local beer joint with microbrews and a gaming hall with 2 pool tables, pinball, and tabletop video games and a record store with real vinyl. Seems an odd assortment until.you step in and find out that you can enjoy watching the game before a live.comesy act takes their stage. Did I mention they have live entertainment? Easy located in Classic Cape Coral near shopping and great places to eat. I bought some vinyl, listened to some comedy, and enjoyed myself. You will too!
