I love this place. Thr food is amazing and you can taste that it was cooked with love. The Irish tacos are to die for, and the drinks were strong. I highly recommend for a casual date night. Dinner and pool at O'Mally's, then a nice walk through old Sac.

Good options on tap, hit or miss bottled/canned options, but the absolute best bar food in Old Sacramento! If you've never had their I'm Irish Tacos, you're missing out

Ok, I stumbled onto a look alike Irish pub that was anything but Irish.

I love this building it's very quintessential Old Sac and has not had too many upgrades. Available parking on the street is always hit or miss but it's not far from the garage. We've gone there for 2 separate shows recently, and they are held in the basement where it is sweltering hot. The bar staff service has been great each time but we have not yet tried the food.

Stopped in for a beer and burger! OMG that burger was amazing!!! He added a few goodies for us, cut it in half for sharing. So delish.

Bathrooms are atrocious! Would avoid!!

So, this place was entertaining and very interesting. However, the service sucked. Eventually, you got a drink, and they finally find your dine-in number on your sticky table. You'll be served your food. As for the entertaining piece, the bartender was slow at serving, but they kept you entertained with their humor and witty snapbacks and a very good drink.

Loved the ambiance. I had an amazing time with my husband while the bartenders amicably attended to the clientele. The drinks were on point and the food was impeccable. 🔥 highly recommended!

2 years ago, I gave the pub a high food rating. Their corned beef was excellent- tender and tasteful. The cabbage was well prepared, and the bangers and mashed was great. Then the bar changed hands and apparently chef too. The corned beef was no longer tender and the cabbage was fried and greasy. They were out of bangers, but I won't be back to try them.

Went to have corn beef and cabbage for St. Patricks Day. Worst corn beef ever. Cook had long hair and kept sweeping in back while he was cooking. His girfriend was sitting near his area and came to our table and asked why they served our lemon drop in a martini glass, cussed and moved back to the counter by the cook. Do not eat anything here. We went to another restaurant to celebrate.

Most fun I had in a long time the new owners really made the difference here. Always making the place new and exciting around holidays When it’s not holiday season they come up with other entertainment like glow parties , bbqs , sports alway playing. Local bands ,comedy and magic shows .

Pool table and some pub food. Nice little spot. It it small but has a great vibe.

The bouncer, I think his name is Irving is really great. The bartenders easily keep up with a large amount of patrons. I always have a great time there.

Cool pub smack-dab in the heart of old Town Sac. Loaded fries were fantastic.

Disappointing. This place is much more of a dive bar with Irish decor than an actual Irish pub. The bathroom was filthy. All I did was pee standing up and I still felt disgusting just being in there. The "cook" was having a drink at the bar when I ordered my food from the bartender, which was a bit odd. And when he was done cooking our food, he returned to the bar to have another one. Our food was NOT good. I ordered the bangers & mash, and he scraped the char from the griddle and/or the griddle hadn't been cleaned properly, so it tasted super ashy. And our onion rings were fried in old grease because it had a really off-putting flavor. Oh, and they give you flimsy plastic utensils to eat with lol. Also, the bartender doesn't know how to pour a pint of Guinness. It was flat and tasted nasty. They need to train her how to pour a proper pint of Guinness (you can't pour it like a regular pint of beer, it's a 2-part pour with a resting period, Google it haha). Old Sac has definitely changed in recent years. Feels a bit dodgy in the evenings. Not the same vibe as several years ago.

We really enjoyed this place. Great energy, the food was delicious. The bartender in particular, a beautiful young black woman, was an absolute delight.

Irish only on name. Restroom was covered in graffiti and smelled of stale urine. No food (the kitchen was closed for some reason), and the music playing was pop and R&B. While I don't have a problem with either genre, I guess I expected a more Celtic atmosphere. The bartender (her name escapes me, I'm sorry) was exceptional; very friendly, customer-oriented, and fast. She was on top of her game! The most Irish thing in there was the Guinness, unfortunately.

They had the best tater Todd's in the world and the best chicken strips you ever had

Kitchen wasn't open when we got there, so no food. Didn't have dark beer. Inside is sort of sad and gloomy. Weird drunk guy asked us for change; left quickly.

Come here whenever we have the chance, love the food love the atmosphere, the staff are awesome and if something isn't right they make it right if you give them the opportunity. Will keep coming here and telling friends about this place.

One thing of this O' Malley place! Coming out of the Old Sacramento Walking Tunnel (no vehicles allowed in this walking tunnel), after the new Frankie's Pizza, there is this of O'Malley place! I wanted to get a sandwich! Comes with fries! No way! To ask for salad, be six dollar (before tax) more to substitute a salad for a fries! What happened, Old Town Visitor Center (not their fault, they get big FIVE STAR of rate from me), I asked them! They telephoned the number for me, nice of them! The person on end of O' Malley place! This what the person at Old Town Visitor Center says to me, "They telling me (the person helping me) yes your Guest may substitute the salad instead of fries! Tell them it be an extra six dollars!" The person left up to me to decide, holding the cradle of the telephone with their hand so the person on the O'Malley place side will not hear, "They say is extra six dollars! I really not suggest that you try to do it," then the person says thank you, they decided not to come not to try! Who does that, six dollar extra before tax to substitute healthier item! Ah yes, think is twenty one and over only! Outside menu posted, not seeing anything that suggests may be Child Menu!

Came from Washington I had such a great time and such a fun place to hang with some friends . Definitely recommend if in Old Sac!

We came in on a warm afternoon for a cold beer. It was good, and the Bar woman was great. Aficiant. Friendly. Worked hard to give good service. The only problem we had, is that there was a strong smell of fried food. No ventilation.

Their menu changed cos covid. Place is okay but very British.

It’s a cool little pub but the waitress charged me $20 for $10 fries and disappeared never gave me my change and when I asked for a to-go box the guy said yeah and walked away

Friendly staff, good beer selection, locals’ favorite. Had five different IPAs on tap, and Guinness. Pool table. Reasonable food selection and tasted good (corned beef & cabbage), but soon got cold as they serve on cold plates (and leave the doors open even on cold nights. I would certainly go back for drinks. Not sure about to eat.

This establishment met and exceeded my expectations the drinks we're on point the bartenders were very pleasant and seemed to be able to balance everyone and provide them drinks inadequate type

Went to have lunch there was only a few people at the bar we were the only table of four people waited over an hour and a half for our food should have not been that long of a wait when patrons at the bar we're not ordering food
