I got the rack of lamb and it was good.

I firmly believe that this restaurant is among the best I've ever visited. The food was outstanding, the service was top-notch, and the interior was stunning. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, which had an incredible flavour, and the lamb samosa, which was even better. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, as I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and plan to visit more often in the future with friends and family.

The place was fantastic, with a very presentable appearance and minimal wait time. The food looked amazing. I visited with my family and we ordered the tiramisu and calamari with tempura peppers, onions, and citrus buffalo aioli. It was incredibly appetizing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The kids had the mac n cheese, chicken tenders, and fries from the kid's menu, and they loved it. We all can't wait to return. I highly recommend this place!

We wound up here after getting lost, on the advice of Google reviews. The food was very good, as was the service. A lovely surprise. Thank you.

My husband and I are so glad that we got the chance to eat dinner at Orange Hill Global Bistro on Friday, August 23, 2024. I called the Restaurant at 8:39 PM. To see if we would be able to eat there we both knew that they close on Fridays at 9:30 PM. We were in the parking lot when I called and talked with the Hostess/ Manager or Maybe even the Owner. She was very nice to talk to very Professional she said that we were able to come in and eat which we did she escorted us to our table. She also, was very nice to us when we were leaving and asked us what we had to eat. Shika was our waitress I hope that I spelled her name the right way. She was very Professional also, we were not sitting at the table that long when she came and asked us if we wanted water which we did. Then bread was brought to us which was very good. We ordered our alcohol beverages which was Jack & Coke for me husband. And Honey Jack & Diet Coke for me which was very good also, then we ordered Bruschetta and that was Delicious 😋 😋 We also ordered our entrees My husband ordered the Hudson Valley Duck and absolutely Loved ❤️ it but couldn't eat everything because we were eating so late. I had the Scallops and Shrimp for my dinner and again I absolutely Loved ❤️ it but couldn't finish everything I couldn't believe how big the Shrimps were. The Risotto was delicious and also the vegetables!!!! We ordered Tiramisu to take home. It was absolutely delicious 😋 😋. "Thank You Shika for being very nice to my husband and I we really do appreciate it!!!!" It was our first time eating at Orange Hill Global Bistro but it definitely won't be our last time. We're planning our next time to go eat and enjoy our yummy 😋 food!!!! The Chef I have to say " Thank You for making such Delicious 😋 food." Your Presentation on the plate was AMAZING!!!! It definitely did say " A Thousand Words." I don't know why I didn't take any photos but definitely next time I will for my next review. The food was good. Service exceptional. I didn’t feel Like the menu was American per se. It was an eclectic mish mash of options, but what we ordered was delicious.

They have terrible service. I've doordashed here 3 times and they claim the orders come in almost 20 minutes later after I let them know what order I'm here to pick up, they confirm the order, then come and tell me some bs that they just received the order.

I rarely will rarely give a bad review, choosing to keep my opinions to myself but I was so disappointed so here goes. We had to ask for a bread basket after sitting for 20 minutes. Ordered the lobster bisque but there was no crab meat. Ordered the duck with berry risotto but there were no berries and the risotto was tasteless. Ordered farfalle truffle mushroom and was served mushy pasta that was hard to discern the shape. Needless to say we passed on dessert.

An unexpected surprise! Remarkably diverse global menu. One of the best sorbets I have had in the world. My husband and I went back again for both flavors. Lovely people. Accommodating and sweet service. Highly recommend.

The interior of the restaurant and the meal presentation make it seem like a really nice place, but the food flavor and service was still at mediocre diner level. I had the red curry. The flavor of the curry was decent, but the vegetables were overcooked. No one in my party seemed impressed at the flavor of what they ordered. I will say, however, that my friend's gluten-free pasta tasted a lot like regular pasta. We were seated and attended to immediately, which was great. Our server was very nice, but could improve in some areas. He mixed up the pizzas and had to be shown that there was meat on the meat lovers before being convinced and giving it to the person who ordered it. My friend ordered a Coke and he neglected to mention they only serve Pepsi. It took a bit longer than average to run our checks. If this restaurant can get the flavor of their food and their service to match the atmosphere and presentation it will be a really fantastic place to eat.

My experience here was exceptional. Faizon the bartender made me a delicious signature cocktail and gave great service. The manager Jessica was very welcoming and personable and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was phenomenal! I am already planning to return.

What a delicious evening!! Arugula beet salad was a perfect start, Salmon cooked to perfection and the Scallop/Shrimp dinner was amazing!! Good wine selection and the Creme Brule trio was the perfect end to the dinner. Also love the fireplace, video fish tank and the AC!! Can't wait to go back!!

Came here on a whim. Yes, it looks like a converted diner but it was nicely done. I don't know why some reviews were complaining at it. The interior and decor were super nice and clean. Promptly seated and taken care of by staff. I saw other staff checking on everybody all the time. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. I got the salmon and for $25, it was well worth it. Excellent service all through dinner. Good night date spot.

Just enjoyed Father's Day brunch buffet. Our first visit, we were welcomed with smiles and courteous staff. Food was outstanding. Selection offered something for everyone. Favorites included southern fried chicken cutlets, waffles with fresh fruit, and egg, cheese and sausage muffins. Staff always there to refill coffee or drinks.Cozy dining room, great desserts! Highly recommend. Will be back when we work off these calories!

Tried this place because of the reviews. Disappointed because the food was disgusting. My child’s chicken tenders were burnt, bland and didn’t taste like chicken, so she didn’t eat it. I ordered the shrimp and scallop dish. It was also flavorless and cold. The sauce they used in the dish was gross, and overloaded with rice, so I didn’t eat it. Tried 2 different types of martinis which were both poorly made, so I didn’t drink them. Spent $80 for 2 people and still had to go eat at a different restaurant because we could not tolerate the food. The waitress saw we didn’t eat our food because we didn’t like it. She just said she would give a recommendation for the chef. They should have gave us a refund. Wish we didn’t waste our money.

Love love love this place! always a go to for brunch, bdays and special occasions and never dissapointed (although I'd be even more delighted if the Cauliflower Steak was back on the menu).

This is our new favorite place to eat. The food is absolutely delicious and the cost is extremely reasonable. Wish we found it sooner. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to go, with great food, at a great price, with great service.

Went for the brunch buffet and this place is highly impressive. Some of the friendliest and nicest people work here. The food was second to none. Left full and very very very happy. The best food I have had in this area in forever.

Attended brunch with large party. Twelve total. Wait staff was on point to take orders . More than one wait staff assisted us. Food was excellent. I had heard mixed things about this but the food was fantastic. Will go again

Hotel staff recommended this restaurant. I checked the reviews, and it looked like a good choice. Ordered the Cajun chicken and shrimp based on the server's saying it was one of their most popular dishes. Brought out bread and balsamic oil after ordering. They put some type of red tomato flakes and baked a Hawaiian roll. The top was soft, but the bottom half was stale. There was nothing Cajun about the dish other than the name. The sauce reminded me of Panera's creamy basil soup. No Cajun spices or salt added to the dish. There were 4 shrimp and about a dozen pieces of cubed chicken. The pasta was cooked properly. However, it had so much sauce that it was not worth the carbs to eat it. I'm about to start a project in Newburgh and will definitely be looking for some other options.

Went here with a friend once before and got a simple but delicious tomato soup, so we came back. They were able to seat us 15 minutes to the end of lunch. They have a lunch buffet, but we were able to order from the menu. The menu itself has a lot of variety while keeping everything one page. I ordered the filet mignon sliders, which were cooked perfectly and enchanced by the buttery brioche and fresh crisp lettuce. They came with mildly seasoned french fries and homemade onion rings that were light and crispy, and not oily, as well as fresh cole slaw that was served in a leaf of butter lettuce and wasnt drowned in mayonnaise. Looking forward to coming back again.

My wife and I went out to brunch, which is the best place to eat lunch and dinner. The food is top of the line, and the prices are great. Please come and bring your family and friends

My wife and I made reservations at this restaurant for Valentines Day. The restaurant was not crowded, and we were seated immediately. However, we sat at our table for 45 minutes before I had to stop a server to come and please find a waiter to serve us. We got the feeling that we had been forgotten especially when we saw numerous servers and waiters constantly passing by our table. A waiter finally came and took our order. This waiter was very abrupt and abrasive with us when he took our order. He did not ask if we wanted drinks or appetizers and we felt as if we had done something wrong to upset him. Consequently, we did not order any drinks or appetizers, only entrees. Again it took more than thirty minutes for our entrees to arrive after ordering our meal. When my wife asked why it took so long, the waiter in a very condescending tone told us that this restaurant was "fine dining" and not "fast food" so things take longer. Our food was very average and very hard for us to believe all the 5 star reviews left for this restaurant. Our evening of "fine dining" was ruined and all we wanted to do was leave as soon as possible. We will not come back to this restaurant and based on our experience, would not recommend it.

Atmosphere was enjoyable. Service to get and order placed took longer then expected, once the food arrived presentation was very nice, however wasn’t as pleasant to the pallet. We ordered rack of lamb, the duck, and a kids cheeseburger. The duck was too salty, the rack of lamb wasn’t tender enough to fully enjoy, and the “kids cheeseburger” wasn’t a kids burger at all. Asked for it medium well, got it Medium. I would suggest some alterations to be done. You guys are close! Just not quite there.

A diamond in the chains!!! I had the wild mushroom soup to start. It had a good balance of earthiness, savory, and creamy. My wife would have loved it, but I was flying soko. It would have been better with more salt, but I love salt and think everything needs more salt, but totally respect that everyone's salt preference differs. Then I had the duck for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation. It was a wonderful medley of flavors -- salty, sweet, earthy, savory -- it was fun mixing different combinations of sauces, veggies, potatoes, and the duck (which was a perfect medium rare) If you would like to know how I qualified Orange Hill, please read on. Having worked in fine dinning restaurants for 18 years in places like Union Square Cafe and Butter in NYC and The Wild Ginger in Seattle, my taste buds have been wonderfully ruined. I wanted to treat myself to a better than average dinning on my way home from skiing at Hunter Mountain. Newburgh is a good place to stop and stretch your legs and/or wait out the rush hour traffic, which is what I was doing also, while heading back home to Brooklyn. I gave them 5 Stars because they put forth thoughtfulness and effort and did a great job for standing out in a sea of chain restaurants. Was it high-end NYC?! No, but it was definitely a memorable experience and worthy of me taking the time to write this review.

These are some good guys that work here. The service is great, the food always tastes really good and the ambience is really nice. Especially by the electric fire place in the back.. I'm always surprised the place isn't more crowded but maybe the location is why, even though it's very easy to get to and always parking right in front... You will not be disappointed.

Hours are not accurate online. We came to the restaurant and were turned away.

They say on the website that the brunch buffet ends at 2:00. We drove from over 20 minutes away just to eat there and arrived at 1:35. When we got there the buffet area was still well stocked but they said we couldn't get the buffet, even though we would've been glad to just eat whatever they still had out there. I am very unhappy about this treatment. If the buffet ends at 1:30, just put that on the website. Don't lie about your hours.

Great food and great service in a nice atmosphere. We had filet mignon and rack of lamb entrees. Both delicious and cooked to perfection. Delicious NE clam chowder and Calamari for appetizer. Homemade desserts too. Extensive menu with lots of choices. Best American Cuisine in the area. Do yourself a favor and go for a great dining experience.

The atmosphere was nice. The staff was very attentive and the place was very clean. The food was good. The pork chop was a little tuff but the chicken and pasta dishes we got were good. They didn’t have a changing table which was aggravating since we had a little one.

Don’t book a table through Yelp for some reason it doesn’t actually get the through to the restaurant. I’m sure the food is lovely, but we didn’t actually get to eat here as they close at 7.30 on Sunday not the Advertised 8pm

I worked here for about 9 months and had a great experience. Working at orange hill has left me with so much knowledge to become an even greater hostess/busser. The food is delicious and the staff is always so friendly/caring. I recommend dining in here and especially going to the Sunday brunches! There is a variety of different foods to choose from and even a large dessert table with special desserts that aren’t included in the regular dessert menu 🙂🧁🍰

The food was excellent! Delicious and great presentation! The service did not match the food excellence. Our waiter was not welcoming, did not smile, was very abrupt. It took a long time for him to come over and greet us. We waited a very long time for a dinner. Also had to ask for the check after waiting and waiting. Maybe this was an off night (a Tuesday)

Great food in a beautiful restaurant. Nice bar, super clean restroom. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive. I had the Mexican burger and Brussel Sprouts, both were excellent. Highly recommend!

Wow is all I have to say. Delicious cuisine, clean restaurant, great service. The Mango Chicken was Indian inspired & awesome. Pork chop was great for my GF hubby. Vegan options too.

So delicious, fancy, and reasonable priced. We had cauliflower fritters tasked so well. The Vegatarian menu was extensive. The decor insides were warm and inviting. Fresh new updates. Staff is very attentive and pleasant. We will be back her again for sure!

Orange Hill is a wonderful, fairly upscale restaurant for the location. The only complaints I have are about the wine selections: they are far more expensive than they are quality. In other words, the high price doesn't match the low quality of veritals. My second "complaint" is their sign. The sign does not reflect the class of restaurant Orange Hill is. The sign gives deli/ salad bar vibes when this is a classy restaurant with a full bar and to notch service.

As a huge fan of Citrus in New Windsor, I’m so excited I finally got a chance to try out her sister restaurant Orange Hill. Everything we had was exceptional. The swordfish was cooked perfectly.
