New to New Hampshire, I called in this order of Shrimp/ Chicken/ fried rice without pork !!! Never have I ordered fried rice and was served two different shared portions ! A Chinese restaurant needs to have someone who knows to take a Chinese food order ! I’m so disappointed ! Will upload pictures of supposedly Chicken/ Shrimp Fried Rice !!! Paid for something that I will not enjoy eating !!! What a $25 plus waste !!! I strongly recommend the Chinese Restaurant a few walks from this one … Go to ‘ Hong Asian Noddle Bar ‘ Great Food and atmosphere !!!!!!

Terrible service time and time again nowadays. This past Friday was the last straw and our last visit as were completely disrespected by the manager and the receptionist. In fact, I cannot remember the last time I was treated so rudely by any business. My husband and I have been frequenting Oriental Delight for many years. Probably visit or get delivery 7-10 times a year. We love sushi and they are the closest place with decent sushi. Whenever we eat out we like to sit at the bar as it is more of a social experience. The last several times we have been there the bartenders basically ignored us for 5+ minutes before even acknowledging our presence. Meanwhile, the bar music speakers are low quality and always blare loud music (fairly heavy rock and roll - which is just not conducive to relaxing, eating and socializing). A couple of months ago, we walked out after being ignored for so long. We did it again this past Friday after a grumpy looking bartender passed us by without a glance multiple times. This time, we decided to stop and let the manager know why we were leaving. We asked to see the manager and when he appeared he seemed completely disinterested in talking to us. I let him know in a calm way why this was our second time walking out before ordering. He had no response to the bartender ignoring us, so I also mentioned the loud rock and roll music and he said "it's a Friday night and that's what we do" and I said well, it's not a nice atmosphere for eating and he said "if you don't like the music, then go somewhere that has the music you like, we don't need you here". WOW. Then the receptionist was saying something nearby about "how that was a ridiculous thing to say". I thought she was talking about the manager, but nope it was about what I was saying. I said "don't you want to get feedback about how your customers feel"? and she snapped back "not if it's rude". But I had not been rude, just informative. She said the bartender was super busy. I said "I have been a bartender - it takes zero time to glance at a customer and say 'I'll be with you in a moment, here are some menus while you wait' while you are whizzing by". Sayonara, Oriental Delight!

Amazing food absolutely HELD BACK by the nasty service crew that is greedy, clueless and needs dire need of replacement.

Awesome dinner..great price delicious food

Took My family there for the 3d time. 5 people Age range 10 to 80. Everyone was happy and it's now a go to for our family. Service was very good.

Excellent food! Consistently high quality and the best egg roles around. Seriously, so good we buy extras to-go. Sesame Beef is generous portions and actually crunchy. I’m not a curry foodie, but the fam is, and they claim it is superb. Parking is always exciting, cuz it’s cool to land a spot, and it’s risky backing out into moving traffic! All part of the experience. We literally go out of our way to eat here, try it, you’ll likely agree.

Been my favorite Chinese food place since I moved to Dover back in 2015. Huge menu and great drinks.

I order from here a lot. I live in downtown Dover. Tonight I ordered something and when I got it home it contained a large amount of cilantro. A handful. I’m allergic. And never in all my life have I seen cilantro in Chinese food. I threw it away. I called, not for my money back- but to let them know and to find out if that was supposed to be there. A man got on the phone and when I complained he said- we can’t list every ingredient on the menu- and hung up on me. Three times.

Found this place by accident. Good food. Vegan and vegetarian options. Some different items on the menu. Like the combo dishes. Will be going back

Had food delivered and the driver looked at my signed receipt and said NO TIP. which I was going to give him cash and stormed off and called the manager and he hung up on me They lost a bunch of bissness

Just NASTY! I found this bug in the food and God only knows what else I ate already. This is NOT a small bug. This only means that nothing is freakin washed and that the kitchen is just disgusting! I’m pregnant and I’m freaking out this is gonna cause me sickness. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM!

I do not know how you can make mistakes on pork fried rice with mixed veggies. You put frozen mixed veggies in it, and it has zero flavor, the rice is old. Then some sort of sticky stuff on the beef. After 3 visits of the same stuff, we will not be back. The trip to Wonton's will be worth it. At least their food on a one to ten is a 9 yours a 2.

Food is always good taking out or dining in Never had problem with this restaurant.

I got the sushi appetizer and it was horrible. It wasnt properly put together, it fell apart, and it had barely any rice in it. And on top of that, it tasted terrible. Do not eat here horrible food.

If you know, you know. If you don't, you should go!! The food here is spot on and consistent. The service is kind, happy to help, and the food comes out quickly. The sushi is off the charts amazing!!! Seriously, they're friggin' artists with their sushi plates. You will leave full and most likely with leftovers if you get a full lunch or dinner meal.

Excellent out of Chinatown - Chinatown food experience.

For a typical busy day (New Year's Day) you would think the food would be fresh. Pu pu platter for two, everything on it except for the beef was COLD & BLAND, General Tso chicken was NOT spicy and COLD, chicken lo mein was COLD and DRY. Duck sauce we knew just by the color it wasn't gonna be right. And it wasn't. That is not duck sauce. The worst part is our waiter saw me not eating and walked by our table half a dozen times and didn't bother to ask how it was. Finally when we came by we told him but he didn't seem too concerned whatsoever. Won't be back unfortunately.

Overall really good affordable food, and ready quite quickly, a couple things aren't especially great but not bad enough for me to complain about (mainly the grease from the chicken fingers upsetting my stomach), highly recommended for good food on a budget

Easy place to get awesome local sushi, as well as a slamming pu-pu for 2. Me and my wife have sat for many of years to enjoy date night with or sushi chef.

My wife liked her sushi! My beef pan fried noodles were alright, but the dish came out lukewarm and got cold in a hurry 🥶 I’m a disgustingly fast eater so it wasn’t me talking more than chewing! Average is the word! and 3 stars is the score! Even the prices are average (normal) ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always delicious and consistent! A3 is best combo. SR22 with tuna BEST sushi roll!!! Combo’s are best deals, I do c7 and c8 with crab Rangoon, chicken finger & fried rice. Can’t beat this deal!

The sushi was pretty decent. However, the misu soup was horrible. The rice and spring roll was very mediocre. The service was good though. I'd recommend going there for sushi.

Absolutely the best in Dover! We have been here multiple times and have enjoyed a variety of menu items. The quality of the food is exceptional! Always fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. Portions are generous and beautifully presented. The staff is extremely friendly and very efficient. A wonderful experience every time!

We ordered takeout food. They said it would be ready in 35 to 40 minutes. It was ready in 20 minutes. Bonus! The prices are decent. The portions are good. Probably the best Chinese food in the general area. The staff is very friendly. Parking is kind of a pain if you want to park close. But, it is downtown Dover so that is to be expected. I would recommend eating here as long as you can find parking.

My go to spot in Dover for Americanized Chinese. Sadly their Sichuan dishes and the sushi are not very good but for mostly fried stuff they do a good job.

First off, the only reason i gave 2 stars was because the sushi was very good. (update: changed to one star because the whole experience was just awful) We tried three rolls, all tasty and fresh. I also got the kung pao chicken but was SO disappointed. It was bland and not spicy at all. the crab rangoon were mostly cream cheese, no crab. rice tasted frozen from a bag. wings came out with no sauce or anything, very dry and bland. service was what really made the experience terrible. my boyfriend has celiacs so he has to be gluten free, the waiter wouldn’t even tell us the gluten free options. we tried asking several times but he seemed annoyed and would rather play on his phone. several times when we needed our waiter we could visibly just see him on his phone. i had to go and get basic thing myself while watching him on his phone. i tried smiling at him a lot to lighten the mood, but he was just rude and didn’t care. left no tip. wouldn’t ever come back.

My wife and I stopped in for some dinner. This was a mistake. The food is simply heated up frozen food. I just finished vomiting up my spring roll and pork fried rice. Awful food.

Painfully average. Is it Chinese food? Yah. Does it taste ok? Yah sorta. Is it 5 star exceptional? Absolutely not. I wish the people of Dover held this restaurant and others like it to a higher standard so we could get some better quality Chinese around here.

As a Saigon and Tokyo refugee, OD gets frequented by us a lot more now, as we prefer to eat in than dine out. Since the menus are basically the same, I have to say we really enjoy it. They even still have the "lunch box" on the menu, which is my go-to for lunch. Sushi is all great, no one is ever disappointed with their food here.

Always good food and fast service! Their Dragon and Phoenix and General Tso's Chicken are some of the best I've had and their crabmeat rangoon never fail to delight! Prices are pretty good considering today's environment, so definitely worth it if you're looking for a treat!

I had dinner with a friend, we each enjoyed an entre, we split a row of Dumplings as an appetizer, and an order of fried rice with our meal. My guest got a cocktail, I stuck with water, and after the tip the total for 2 people was over $70. The food was decent, not the best I've ever had, but much higher quality than most places I've been. Personally I suggest this place when having dinner with a large group where lots of people order and everyone has a taste of it all. I cannot speak for the sushi however so that may be the best in town as most people say it is.

This restaurant might not look like much, but looks can definitely deceive. Their Chinese food is top shelf. In my opinion, the real reason to visit is their sushi bar. I have had sushi from pretty much every restaurant in the area. Oriental delight surpasses their quality by far. Overall, I believe this restaurant deserves a 5-star review.

i was very delighted as an Oriental myself. good food is good food. solid location. kinda small and the wait for the food can be a minute but overall delicious and safe feeling. I'd go there again and get more food. i love food.

Best Chinese food in the area! My family usually orders take-out or pick up around dinner time. The service is always excellent. The staff and delivery driver are always so friendly. We mostly order from the Chinese menu and we are always happy with our food and experience.

Abysmal portions for the price. Always a disappointment in that regard. Only get our business sometimes because they're nearby and the flavors are decent so in a pinch we grin and bare it. Sushi is heavy on the rice also showing how they offset costs/boost revenue. Bummer because we'd be regulars if the price matched the product

Some of the best Chinese I've had. The Lo-mein was delicious and so was the pu pu platter. The Pu pu platter was not greasy at all. The sushi was delicious and nice and fresh.

Oriental Delight is definitely one of the best Chinese/Japanese restaurants in the area. We enjoy their sushi, but also their regular dishes. They offer great lunch and dinner options and the service is always very fast.

Classic American Chinese, good sushi. Bar has some hi tops and tv's for the big game. Known as the "O.D." Update: food quality is slipping..incorrect recipes, small portions, doesn't seem to have the same care as used to be. Bar is still friendly.

Very disappointed!!! Ordered take out of Sweet & Sour chicken and got chicken fingers which were 1/4 oz of chicken and 3 oz of breading. The soy sauce packet was leaking so the condiments bag was a mess. Very sloppy operation and I won't be back.

Delicious Japanese and Chinese food. Sake, beer, wine. We ordered a bunch of rolls and some rice and noodle dishes. Had a great time would recommend.

Food was to hard to chew and waitress refused to help

The Genri tso chicken was cook so hard you couldn’t even put a fork in it or cut it, When we told our waitress, She said most people order it crunchy. I told her we didn’t order it that way, and she just said oh, And walked away. Nothing was taken off the bill, the whole plate was left behind. Don’t order the genre tso chicken cause you won’t be able to eat it and they don’t care. Rated 000000000. Lost 45.00 down the drain. Poor management.

Clean fresh food whether it is sushi or Chinese food, it's the best in the area. No MSG. The service is quick, attentive and fantastic. We are regulars and have never had a bad meal. Consistently good and that is hard to come by these days. 10 Stars.

It was great. Food is amazing, and very filling. Would recommend going at night for aesthetics if you're into that kind of thing. Beautiful interior and they get your food out to you relatively fast too. Not too cheap, but not too expensive, unless you get more than one specialty meal. Oh and variety on the oriental delight menu is great. Many different dishes to select from.

We told the guy taking our order I was gluten free and asked if anything we were ordering had gluten in it because I have a gluten allergy. He said “ I don’t know, look at the menu”. We looked at the menu and it doesn’t specify, so we did our best at ordering what we thought was a gluten free meal for take out. We called back after we got home because things were questionable and asked about a couple things and we’re told that some of the food did in fact have gluten! The manager was very rude and asked if we had been specifically told it was gluten free and we said “no, the guy didn’t give us any help” and that was all. The manager than said “what do you want me to do?” No apology, No offer of a discount in the future after I ate 3 things that had gluten in it. Then he hung up on me. I am used to asking about my food and I am used to mistakes but have never had such rude service after eating something that makes me sick. Zero accountability and rude service!

Two years ago this place was great and I used to go on a regular basis. I have disappointedly recommend the place to many people. Today we asked for gluten free food and told them someone eating with us has a gluten allergy but we're given food with soy sauce and miso soup they said couldn't be confirmed to have gluten or not. When we called to notify the manager he argued they did nothing wrong and said, "what do you want me to do" and hung up on us after we said we wouldn't be able to eat there if they were this careless. Wow. Wish I could give negative stars. This place could literally kill someone.

It is so rare to find CLEAN, excellent service and great Chinese cuisine all in one place. Food was light, vegetables not overcooked; so unlike our experience in other area Chinese food restaurants. Highly recommend!

I am always given this restaurant the highest reviews when anyone asks where to buy Chinese food. I noticed that the beef teriyaki have gotten smaller and don’t have that certain zing that I loved so much but not the last couple of times. I recently ordered beef teriyaki spring rolls and my favorite crab raccoons. I got it delivered and gave them a good tip. Immediately, came inside open the bag and like I always do reach for the crab Rangoon and usually burn my tongue, lol. Not this time.!! They were COLD..! I immediately called and spoke with a gentleman that just kept on wanting to say: What do you mean they’re cold? Finally I said, it’s like your driver put it on the air conditioner, and next thing you know I was hung up on….!! Extremely unprofessional and after all the money I have spent at this place it really makes me sick but instead I just cried.

A great selection of sushi. A real Delight. The portions were enough to fill a near competition eater. Very satisfied.
