Do not online order takeout! I come here a lot for a quick good lunch, and made the mistake of ordering using their website. After missing my order that day, they double charged me and refunded me the wrong amount 2 weeks later

Couldn’t be happy with experience last night. We had a large party for 2 birthdays and they did not disappoint. Speed, service & atmosphere was 10/10. We will definitely be back!

Visited Osaka for my son's birthday. Everyone was so friendly. I have diet restrictions and the staff were very accommodating. They have gluten free alternative to soy. Our party were well taken care of and the food was delicious. The hibatchi chef was entertaining and had all of us laughing. It was a great evening.

I normally go to Osaka for their hibachi, which I love. I went and had their sushi. I never had sushi and stepped out of my comfort zone and had raw fish. 🤯I loved it!! The love boat was delicious. I never imagined I would eat raw fish but I actually enjoyed it and it filled me up. I highly recommend going to Osaka for hibachi and sushi 😋

Chef put on the show but was not up to par. The chef at the other grill had a better performance.

My family recently ate at Osaka to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday. The food was amazing and the staff was attentive and courteous! However, I was not happy with the pacing of our meal. Our reservation was at 6 pm on a Friday night for a party of 8 people. While we appreciate efficiency, we felt quite rushed during our meal. We received our soup, appetizers, and salads almost simultaneously, and the Hibachi cook began preparing our main course shortly after. By 7 pm, we found ourselves back in our cars, which felt too quick for a special occasion dinner. We would have loved to have more time to relax, enjoy each course, and savor the celebration. A slightly slower pace would have allowed us to fully appreciate the wonderful meal and the atmosphere.

Quality and taste were lacking for the price. You can get better sushi in haddonfield for less.

This is a delightfully aesthetic theme restaurant that most definitely indulges itself in some beautiful pretensions, from the heavy wooden doors that are made to look like a 1700s Japanese frontier fortress door, to the statue-fountain with hefty fish swimming in it to the faucets and basin in the lavatory. However, there's no sense of taking itself too seriously, no 'no fun allowed' atmosphere; fun is most definitely encouraged. The food is amazing, though it's not cheap unless you're going to fill yourself with an appetizer and soup; nevertheless, it's really, really good! Well worth eating here if you're anywhere nearby for any reason.

Sauces are delicious, ingredients are fresh, prices are good, food has actual flavor but the oil is clean. Super nice and made sure I didn't go hungry on a holiday, will be coming back again.

A very nice and authentic Japanese in haddonfield New Jersey area. Parking might be an issue but if you don’t mind walking and touring a nice town it’s a great date or birthday spot.

Sushi was great. Tried multiple rolls, I don't remember exactly what we had, but everything was great. Eel, salmon, and tuna especially. Edit: came back and the eel sashimi and sushi were great, the stuffed jalapeno appetizer was incredible, and the desserts were great! Pyramid is super chocolate, the creme brulee was freshly torched and flavorful, and the mochi tasted great!

This place has the best sushi I’ve found anywhere in south jersey. If you love sushi, you have to try it out. The staff are super friendly and always keep your water full. This place is BYOB and they will bring wine glasses out for you. Bill for 2 was 100$ for hibachi, 4 rolls, dessert, and the tip which was worth every single penny!

Got there at 4:30pm March 23rd. Two people for hibachi. They told us to wait. Took over 10 minutes for them to tell us they didn't have a seat for us until 7 or 8p.. its 4:30?! & the place was dead. Two ppl! We drove over 45 minutes. Website doesn't allow reservations or stating to make one. Never again will I waste my time going there.

Hibachi is our go to! Chefs are amazing! We literally go every 2 weeks. Best shrimp you will find at hibachi and genuine sauces for very reasonable prices! They also celebrate birthdays! Update: still our go to after visiting multiple places in NJ, PA, FL and OH.

Pushy to pay check. Only there 45 minutes at table (not the hibachi section), and waitress was hovering waiting for us to pay so they could turn over the table. Food was excellent, service could be better.

So food and atmosphere was great. When we arrived for our reservation we were told where to go all that. The hibachi cook was amazing and the food was great. Was talking to wife about coming back here for a date night but thats where the good pretty much ends for me. The servers/waitresses seemed like they were rushing us with ordering and seemed very impatient and annoyed which thats how it came across. Then after paying with my credit card and tipping on there cause I didn't have cash on me. (Didn't know I was going to last minute or I would have cash on me to tip with). So after paying my sister in law had to get change so we could split our bill. Now granted we had a big party with 4 separate checks and I know working in the service industry myself how hard that can be sometimes. So now after paying and tipping on my credit card cause again didn't have cash on me they started bugging me for a cash tip even though I pointed out on the receipt multiple times I tipped on my credit card so they hassled me multiple times for a cash tip. That is very unprofessional to do for this reason service gets a 1 star. Also due to that I will not be returning here. I really hope for others this is an isolated incident for future patrons who go there. Cause with how good everything was that was a huge let down that the servers just seemed annoyed when we didn't ask for anything special especially for my father inlaws 60th birthday. But my point being the service from the servers was very unprofessional. The hibachi cook was absolutely amazing and the food was excellent. But due to the servers and how they acted annoyed then bugging for a cash tip when they were already tipped, the chef was even tipped by us. So due to the servers I will not be returning here. So my overall star rating is 3 which really it should be 5 but the servers ruined that. Expected way better

Went here last night for dinner with my wife. I don’t remember what my wife got besides the rock shrimp appetizer but I did help her finish her food and all of it was delicious, including the rock shrimp. I am a big eel fan so I got the unagi don as well as the dancing dragon. They were both a big serving, which was excellent. As for service, they were very nice and refills came quickly. I also got a lemon sorbet dessert, I forgot the name of it but it was delicious. If you are looking for a quiet eating location with great sushi this is the place to go. They also have hibachi

We went to Hibachi here for my sons birthday the staff were very kind and friendly. The food was some of the best food I have had in a long time. I am already calling people to see when we can go back. It was fun and they made my sons birthday so special.

We went here in New Years Eve and I have to say I'm happy with service and food. We have been to others and the food wasn't that great. The cook was entertaining too

This is one of my boyfriend’s favorite places to eat at. I am a sushi lover and can admit that a lot of their rolls are pretty good; some kind of just taste the same. Overall this place is usually a good 4 out of 5, however, for his birthday on Wednesday I bought him his favorite meal and got myself some sushi rolls. Later that night I was up with terrible food poisoning (the whole bit). I could not get out of bed and when I tried, I would pass out-straight falling to the ground-out. Luckily, mine lasted 24 hours. The day after me, my boyfriend got food poisoning. I’m sure we will be back, but probably not for a long time as I would prefer to never go through that again.

Very nice and reasonably priced, sushi and hibachi restaurant (byob) within walking distance of Patco High Speed Line. Mid week evening, not very crowded. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. Needed her help to open a Japanese strawberry soda. Have never seen a soda bottle like this! Well worth the 4 bucks! Ordered octopus, striped bass and spicy scallop sashimi, (11.50) which was good, my only criticism is the sashimi was so cold I couldnt enjoy the full flavor of the fish, it kind of dulls your taste buds. Also ordered the NJ roll ($18) and I would highly recommend a try. The entire roll menu is incredible. There are a ton of tasty combinations and I'll have to return to sample more of them. This place is a gem!

Food - 5/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance - 5/5 Drinks - NA Value - 5/5 Had the kids with us so decided to take them to check out dinner and a show. Hibachi was it and Osaka was the perfect place. The food was great and the show was a lot of fun for the kids. There were a lot of kids in the hibachi area so perfect side to let’s the kids eat and enjoy themselves. My family of four did the hibachi dinner for four ($110) and chose the shrimp, chicken, and short rib. My wife also picked out a sushi roll. (The sushi roll was really good so maybe next time we go back and get sushi.). First the chef was fun. A little bit of banter and put on a little show for the kids. Lots of dancing spatulas and some fireworks. The chicken was eh (don’t need to order that next time), the shrimp was good, but the rib eye was fantastic: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The vegetables and fried rice are pretty much hibachi staples and were good too. The service was impeccable; multiple people came back to check if we could use or needed anything else and my water cup was always full. Of note- drink received an NA because Collingswood is a dry town (yuck hahaha). So no cocktails with dinner but everything else was great. Definitely recommend esp to people with kids.

Osaka is one of our favorites! We love the hibachi salmon and short rib combo. I used to hate sushi but after having the chicken tempura sushi with soy paper I am in love 😍. Osaka never disappoints! 10/10

My friend & I had lunch here Sunday & it was wonderful!! We were catching up, talking a lot but our server was so patient and never rushed us. She also kept our drinks full. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed. There was a party in the back room but you couldn't tell. We got the love boat for 2 and every single thing tasted so fresh and delicious!!!! Lots of variety in a beautiful presentation 🍣 highly recommend! We also tried the duck roll appetizer which was a cross between a sushi roll & a fancy egg roll.. it was incredible & I'm already craving it again!

It’s very rare that I leave a bad review as I always try to give the business the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately our server was HORRIBLE, RUDE and just plain crass and the hibachi chef wasn’t any better. There were six of us there celebrating my daughter’s birthday and they had us in and out in 35 minutes. The food was average at best.

My sushi was warm. Pretty but warm. Yeah no. Even though I ordered hibachi they brought me a regular teriyaki dinner. Only thing good about it was it being a byob.

Extremely bad customer service… We were looking forward to date night and made an 8pm reservation. As we had to drive 45 mins for dinner, we left a little after 7pm. About 7:35pm, we received a call that they overbooked tables and would need to move us to a later time, despite me telling them we were already in route… never again! We went to another restaurant, with great food and good customer service… everything works out in the end…

We went to the Hibachi area. We ordered the dinner for four. We got to select three items. We chose shrimp, scallops and steak. Dinner came with salad, fried rice and veggies. All for $110 (plus tax and tip). Not bad.

Too expensive for the amount of food. If you're not ordering the sushi boat, it's not worth it. Also, why does everyone put mayo in their ginger dressing??? I am kind of tired of it.

They have a pretty good variety of vegan options and it is pretty good! Their crispy tofu and tempura is very yummy and the soups/sauce are not too salty but still well flavored. I'd definitely coke back to try more of the items on their menu. The service and atmosphere were very pleasant as well

Sad to say my family will be taking a break from eating at Osaka. We ordered takeout here last night and my husband got severe food poisoning after our meal. We ordered the yaki soba with chicken and it wasn’t very warm and the chicken looked a bit undercooked. I thought we were over reacting since we eat here all the time but now my husband who ate it is very very sick.

Went to celebrate my daughter birthday tonight and this place made me uncomfortable from start to finish. The food was OK but the atmosphere was the worse It was Constant staring from people who were other races and not of color . I don’t know if this is a racist neighborhood or not but it was giving it for sure ! This made my overall experience unpleasant. I will NOT be returning !

Ordered 2 rolls for delivery and after 2.5 HOURS, I had to call and CANCEL order. Worst dining experience in my life. DONT ORDER FROM HERE, THEYLL HAPPILY SERVE YOU FOOD THATS BEEN SITTING FOR HOURS. ON TOP OF ALL THAT, IT WAS RAW FOOD. YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO COOK ANYTHING. RIDICULOUS.
