We all threw up after we ate there and the owner was so cheap , he never offered my family anything ! He was angry and hostile and blamed us for all . Never again ! Awful owner and food isn’t fresh

What an amazing experience! Just took a trip down to NJ for work, waiting for a pick-up near-by so I stopped in for lunch. It was a quiet afternoon but as I walked up and a nice gentleman greeted me and asked me to sit down with him at his table, little did I know it was the owner. At first I wasn’t sure if I was imposing as I’m from the Midwest and we do not like to make anyone uncomfortable, but his son came out and got me a menu and pretty soon all three of us were sharing stories, laughing, talking about the past, and just having an absolute wonderful time. Both the owner and his son made me feel at home, and WOW the food was good!!! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, and I can’t wait to bring my wife here for a special evening and hopefully she’ll get to meet these two wonderful humans! Thank you for making that lunch the best part of my day! You have my gratitude 🙏🏻

Amazing dining experience. Had the Rack of Lamb and it just melted in your mouth. My hats off to the wait staff A VERY BIG THANK YOU. We were there to celebrate my moms 89 birthday and she was so pleased. Again highly highly recommend and I will be back again.

Delicious meal in a warm, inviting restaurant! Welcoming staff as soon as you enter, great service throughout the meal. Started with DELICIOUS bruschetta and warm bread and butter shortly after we sat down. Their house wine Pinot Noir was yummy, all of our food was fabulous. Can't wait to go back!

Everything was great at Ozzy’s. We started off with a glass of moscato, which the owner noted was from Naples, and a recommended cocktail called a black Manhattan. Both excellent. The owner brought us warm bread and really good homemade bruschetta. The appetizer was clams casino. Best I’ve had. For dinner it was a sea bass with almonds on the special menu and my wife had a chicken dish. So good. Ended with tartufo and cappuccino. All this and delightful conversation with the owner. Ozzy’s is very much recommended.

We went to ossys tonight with a cranky baby . The owner must have seen my exhaustion on my face and moved us to a private room with a tv. He put cartoons on for the baby and said that this is the room he has his grandkids sit in. Some restaraunts would have been frustrated or Rushed us out but he was above accommodating so that we could enjoy a nice meal at a restaraunt that serves more then just chicken fingers. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was such a great experience and we will be sure to go back not just because I’d the delicious food but because of his understanding and accommodations. I highly recommend ! Ps my bougie 8 year old was beyond impressed with the pasta

This is a very pleasant restaurant. It has great service and the food is amazing. There is nothing bad I can say about it. I have been several times and the food and service are consistent. My little have asked me couple time to take her back and she very hard to please. I will be a regular for sure.

Old school Italian Cuisine. Great atmosphere. My 20 somethings loved it. Food is always good. Staff has been there forever. And are very attentive.

First time here but definitely not the last. Took my daughter here for an amazing birthday dinner and they did not disappoint.

Ossy's is that comfortable and familiar place my parents would frequent. Warm and sociable, while also being focus on service and attention. The staff knows their regulars and takes care of them like family. When you walk in as a new face, they want to know your preferred drink and how you want everything cooked. They are focused on the customer. The meals are always hot and prepared to your liking. The bar is not a bar crowd, but a place to feel welcomed. These places are hard to find, harder to keep to yourself, but always enjoyable to experience.

We have our family Christmas party here every year. The spaces they have for large parties are fantastic. The food is also very good. The gentlemen who served the party always made sure all of the guests were happy and had everything they needed. We will be back again next year for sure!

Family owned, they know everyone who walks in the door. Great food, large servings, they serve cocktails and always there are large pours. A great find!!!!!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This restaurant just moved up to my top favs in the area. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious! From the moment we walked in, the owner was very accommodating. There were 7 of us including our 16 month old who devoured the penne vodka. Some suggestions - the fried mozzarella and calamari for appetizers. For pasta, the penne vodka and the entrees ALL the veal options and the zuppe de pesce! If you are looking for an old school, classy italian restaurant, Ossys is the place!! We can’t wait to go back!

Have been going there for 20+ years. Ossy's brother Michael runs the establishment now after Ossy died some years ago. I have never had a bad or questionable meal. Always good for a simple dinner or a holiday celebration.

Had a wonderful dinner. We had the fish specials on the menu and they were delicious. Owners were friendly and made us feel like family. Will definitely go back again.

Our LARGE family has been eating at Ossy's for YEARS!!! LONG TIME!!! We have had occasion's here along with dinners...and NEVER had a bad meal. Always good food, good drinks and wonderful times owned by a great family! If you haven't eaten here...you should!

Was at Ossy's for a catered party. Servers were very nice and attentive but the food took a long time. Food was average but they didn't offer decaf coffee! Idk what that's about. My reservations may be directly related to the hostess' decisions. The actual space was very attractive.

I had my wedding there last night. It was beyond perfection! I just want to thank Micheal and Ken and all the staff for going above and beyond for us. The service and food is top notch. All my guest kept coming up to me saying how delicious the food was. We never felt rushed in any way. If you're looking for an intimate place for a smaller wedding or just a delicious dinner ossy's is your place! Anything I needed without hesitation they provided. Thank you for making us feel like part of the family! If I could give them ten stars I would!!!!

This has been a favorite of ours for YEARS! Went back there tonight. Awesome! Best oysters we have had in a long time! Menu is perfect. Food is prepared perfectly. Michael is a consummate professional. These folks really care about their food and their service. If you haven't been there in a while IT'S WORTH A VISIT! Do it!

Been to this place dozens of times and always the same thing. Good solid food at a reasonable price friendly service nice decor and plenty of parking, which is also a big plus. Tucked away on a Main Street it's been there for years and certainly worth going to especially for a special occasion.

Stopped in based on recommendations on Google Maps and you guys weren’t wrong. I was treated as an old friend and served a fresh salad and a fantastic piece of red snapper that were prepared with care. If I’m in the area I will definitely be back.

Revisited Ossy’s restaurant after quite a few years. Happy to report that it is better than we remembered! Ed and Michael treated us like royalty. Excellent menu, great service and the food was perfect Went back tonight for another outstanding meal. Dessert was so amazing! Michael called it his creamy espresso capuchino cake. It was excellent! OK we went back again tonight. Tried the specials.. Amazing!!! Michael suggested the steak and the pork chop special.. Absolutely delicious!

The food here is excellent. I love the stuffed artichoke, but you have to call ahead to see if they have them. The house wine though is 10 dollars a glass, which is a bit high for Hawthorne. Other than that everyone is very attentive do everything on the menu is great.

Great local family owned restaurant. Very local flavor, with excellent service. Many of the dishes are prepared to your taste, ie. I enjoy some dishes spicy, and they do it perfectly. We usually get the fish specials, can be a quiet and romantic spot for special nights, call in advance for a quiet corner.

My wife and I done here frequently and are never disappointed. The specials are always good and well presented, good drinks and service and very fairly priced. Highly recommended.
