Came in on a recommendation from an ex-local and wasn't disappointed! Staff is so sweet + it's cute inside. Small, quaint, and trendy! The food is to die for. Thin, crispy crust with delicious cheese.

When we are visiting my FIL this is our "go-to" for a quick meal. Can order by phone, online or in person. I like the variety of pizza options. My son has Celiac Disease, so he likes their GF pizza made "old school," with sauce on the bottom and cheese sprinkled on the top. And the staff have always been helpful and friendly.

Great pizza. 4 stars because they forgot my sauce for the breadsticks and we had left..

We ordered take out and the person on the phone rushed the order. We ordered gluten free crust and spicy pulled pork. We didn’t get that.

Went to this Otto location yesterday with friends and had some awesome pizza! Busy shop but the girl running the place was friendly and prompt. Nice outdoor seating. Really great overall experience. Would recommend!

Never disappoints! Recently had the gluten free pizza and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

Google states this restaurant closes at 9p but there have been 3 times I have tried to pick up my order between 8p and 9p and they have closed early, and I couldn’t get my food. Great pizza, would recommend, just not close to their closing time.

This is the 3rd time I’ve put in a delivery for pizza and Otto’s has closed before their stated time of 9pm. I understand times are tough, but I watched the employees walk out and leave me sitting in the parking lot after telling me “we don’t have your order”….

Always love Otto's Pizza, this trip was for carry out. The mushroom and Manchego - with additional of sausage was very delicious!

Closed at 8:49 on Monday November 28th and there's a couple deep potholes in your little parking lot too

Way overpriced. Bought lunch there and it was $3.20 for a can of soda.

Ordered 3 cheese slices and one speciality slice, a soda and two PBRs. Had a punch card for a free slice and the cashier took the card but did not honer the free slice. When asked when our beer was coming we were told that all they have is what is in the cooler, we were not told to grab our own beers. No PBRs in the cooler. We asked if they could check outback and when she return we were given two miller high lifes. $35 without tip for technically 3 slices, 2 millers and a lemon/lime soda.

No indoor seating but THE PIZZA WAS AMAZING! Definitely worth it! The sauce is so fresh and the dough is light but still somehow soft and crunchy....it's a must.

Amazing pizza! The pepperoni has the perfect curl!! We sat at the outdoor patio and enjoyed our meal. We ordered the spicy pulled pork, sausage, pepperoni, and bacon pizza. It was a bit too greasy for our liking (and greasy messy) but had really good taste. Drink options are limited - canned beverages of Bubly and other miscellaneous sodas. Very glad that typing "pizza" into Google maps brought us here!

Hard to like the pizza or salads. Had Caesar salads. Dressing were good but someone there thinks a side salad has a teaspoon of pepper (each). I've had hundreds- perhaps thousands of Caesar salads. Never seen pepper used - yet alone dark with pepper. I ordered the pulled pork and mango pizza. Crust varied from paper thin to somewhat doughy. So perhaps something for everyone. Pulled pork appeared to be out of stock. Found nothing resembling pulled pork on the entire pizza. There were 6 globs of dark paste that were sriracha or similar. Rather spicy but no pork. There were a few pieces of mango. Tonight I had craved good pizza...Sadly my pizza tasted like bitterness and resentment rather than something made with love. Other pizzas were better though no one here spoke highly of tonight's dinner.

Best pizza I had in Maine by far .everyone has his or her opinion but this is what a real pizza should taste like .my place to go for pizza from now on .

Eating in was a bit awkward because there were limited choices. I do think they are adding on a patio of some sort though so that will improve that. They have a lot of “to go” options that were premade. The pizza was very flavorful and delicious.

Awesome pizza. The best brick oven pizza in the Portland area. This is a take out and delivery spot with a few tables outside which explains the atmosphere rating.

Decent pizza but as with everything these days to much money for what it was.

I honestly don’t know which location I was at last night but wherever it was, your employees are literally AMAZING. When I say life has been hard, it’s an understatement. Your employees honestly restored my faith in people. I get this sounds like a lot for a quick interaction but when I say they honestly were so wonderful in a time where a lot of people aren’t, it means SO much more than I can even express. Your food is wonderful at any location but where I was the other night, seriously changed my entire outlook in a way k can’t even express properly. Your people are BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU.

I ordered one pepperoni pizza at 5:09 pm. Paid for it. Called at 6:40pm wonduring where it was. It was delivered at 7:10 pm completely unacceptable. The food may taste good...however, if it's going to take 2 hours...it better be over the too phenomenal...it isn't. And not worth another attempt just to wait hours again.

Pork and scallion had legit no meat on it and so many scallions. 100% not worth it and will never go again

Super disappointed tonight. My pizza was see through, and looked like a thin crust. Their crust used to be my favorite. wasn't ready until 20 minutes past the hour wait I was given. The cottage rd location has just really gone downhill.

Very disappointing when you spend $40 on food and they say it’ll be ready in 15 minutes and you show up and the pizza is cold in the box… won’t be back. Very disappointed I thought for this kind of money I’d get a good pizza.

Online ordering was easy and convenient, delivered on time, driver pleasant and smiling, but above all, pizza was delicious. Highly recommend!

Best pizza in MAINE hands down.... Not even a close second....

We ordered the large double crust (thick crust) pepperoni pizza. We finally found a thick crust pizza that tastes good, has nice and chewy crust, and has plenty of pepperoni. It was quick turnaround and the staff was friendly. We joined the rewards program and plan to return for another pizza.

I didn’t like the taste of their pizzas pizza’s but other people in our group really loved them. So it’s not for everyone. It has some unusual pizza choices there that you may love or hate. So maybe worth trying

Do not order delivery!! We have eaten Otto's pizza for a while and it is generally very good, but I've reached my limit. Not because of the quality or taste of the pizza, but the delivery service which has continually gotten worse. I understand the current climate of the pandemic and hiring shortage and am usually quite sympathetic to the front line workers. Unfortunately, the deliveries went from being a normal 10-15 minutes late to much worse. My limit was the recent delivery which was 1 hour and 15 minutes late. The part that annoyed me even more was the person I would call to find out when it might finally get delivered. Every time I called, the person said that our address was next for delivery and should be only 5-10 minutes. After the 4th call, I asked specifically where he was and the Otto's employee said he was in the greater Portland area(that's a pretty big area) and we're on the list for upcoming deliveries. This was at an hour late. Customer service was pretty lousy for someone who's $100 pizza order was an hour and 15 minutes late and I had a house of hungry teenagers for a birthday party waiting for pizza. Like I said, Otto's pizza is very good, but not after that. There are comparable pizza joints around Portland that are as good and they will have my business from now on.

Great thin-er crust pizza. Wide assortment of toppings. If you like good olives on your pizza, they use Kalamata olives, Not the "plastic" ones you find most places.

We were in South Portland before taking our kids to camp. One of our girls is extremely picky and a vegetarian so we have to be very careful where we get food from. Pizza and salad are usually pretty safe for her so when we saw Otto and decided it was worth a try. She LOVED the salad. The red wine vinaigrette was so delicious, she wants the recipe to make at home. The rest of us enjoyed our pizza and salad. The mashed potato pizza is really a play on a baked potato bar. The roasted cauliflower and mushroom pizza was so delicious (we got it with sauce). We loved it so much we went back for lunch the next day. Our girls said "Yay" when we pulled into the parking lot.

Usually a safe-haven for those with food allergies but twice now they have "sold-out" of their dairy free cheese option. If you know demand is high, have the inventory on hand.

First time trying it- great crust but very little cheese and minimal sauce.

OTTO is a solid pizza option near the airport in Portland, Maine. We ordered the four cheese pizza with the standard mozzarella cheese, accentuated by dollops of a decent ricotta, and very tasty fontina and asiago cheeses. The crust is fabulous, relatively thin with cornmeal on the bottom for extra crispness. The cheese sticks are also good, with two decently flavorful cheeses but a great buttery, garlicky bread with the perfect texture. You’ll want to order an extra pomodoro sauce which might just be the highlight of the entire menu!

We just moved here from NYC and consider ourselves something close to pizza experts. OTTO is better than 99% of pizza places in NYC. The garlic/onion was off the charts. Best pizza we've tried to years.

I really like Otto. Food is usually done pretty quickly and it's great when you're just in the mood for a different pizza other than the traditional.

I typically don’t love Ottos pizza. It’s hip and they add stuff like squash and cranberries and potatoes. But it’s convenient and their delivery is stellar so I get their pizza every now and then. This most recent time I got their special; bolognese with ricotta and oregano. It was delicious! The sauce was hearty and a little spicy, the ricotta balanced it out perfectly and the oregano added the perfect balance. I really liked that pizza and I hope they add more stuff like that to the menu!

Pizza is high quality, staff is high quality, always super friendly and helpful, and the pickup window is a great solution to keep us all safe from COVID! Thanks Otto!

Love the pizza but service could use some work, phoned in an order and arrived early and paid for it, sat in my vehicle because it was cold outside and thought since the lady had taken my order name when I paid for it at their temp window but no, it was just left sitting at their staging area and I had to go back and ask them for it a second time. In a day where everyone is doing curbside service you would think since it's 30° outside you would grant your customers the courtesy.

Average pies overall for our recent takeout order but do clean the ovens occasionally. The bottom of both pies (mashed potato and pepperoni) was extra crunchy and had that beach sand crunch (cornmeal and oven remnants). Yes we brushed the crusts off, but those little details take away from the meal experience.

Never in my life would I ever have imagined eating a squash and cranberry pizza, but hey! It was actually super good!

Killer pizza!! We had the recommended Fresh Pineapple, Bacon, & Hot honey Pizza... the BEST pizza ever!! The Mashed Potato, Bacon, & Scallion pizza was delicious as well!!

I never thought I'd say that I had a favorite pizza place but, this is my all time favorite. The recipes are delicious and your dough is perfect! Just enough crunch and not too much crust. Thanks again for my always delicious food!

The best pizza I've had in long time. They use corn meal which helps the crust to be nice and crunchy, like my mother used to make it. The tomato topping is perfectly ripe/fresh tasting. The cheese is flavorful and used judiciously, just enough. The other toppings were amazing. I had grilled chicken which was seasoned perfectly and amazingly flavorful. I really wish this place was closer than 4.5 hours away! Thank you!

Amazing. Such unique pizza options and definitely not disappointment. Thin crust, but done right. We have the pineapple, bacon and hot honey, you could taste every flavor. Would definitely recommend and interested in trying other combinations.

You can eat a thick bread crust pizza anywhere, but not here. We had the eggplant, ricotta, and basil. Perfectly baked, we ate the whole thing with a glass of hard cider. Looking forward to getting back to Portland for another OTTO pizza.

Pizza used to be best in town but they really need to step it back up to compete with some of the other pizza establishments. We ordered the basic cheese and it was so thin and average at best. Bummer.

My wife is gluten free so this is always a major characteristic of any pizza place we go to often times that is not a positive thing. Not so at Otto's This is some of the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. The unique flavor combinations make this a must do

We went to OTTO a few years back when we went to Maine and we loved it so much we drove from where we were staying in Wells all the way just for OTTO! Definitely will be back!!!! Everybody loved their pizza!!!

OTTO truly is a one-of-a-kind pizza franchise. At first glance you might look at the menu and wonder if someone threw darts at a board to select the toppings for some of the pizzas. If you would have told me that butternut squash, dried cranberries, and ricotta cheese would work on a pizza, I would have called you nutty. Instead, I find myself hopelessly addicted to the pizza options here.

We stopped in on a sweltering day for lunch and despite the heat we sat outside... Love small diner feel with doors that open to the parking lot - it was more fun than it sounds. We created our own pizza and shared a salad. The have gluten free options so everyone was satisfied. It was very quite so service was good. Food was even better.

Love this restaurant and location! My family and I stop in for dinner every time after we spend an afternoon at Fort Williams Park. The pizza is great, fantastic local beer, and (most importantly) my daughter loves it.

Tried this place based on a recommendation from our Airbnb host as my family had never been to Portland before. We were all impressed including our two kids. I was really happy to see buffalo cauliflower pizza on their menu and was not disappointed at all. This is some of the best pizza I have ever had!

Good find! It's an old car shop turned into a pizza joint. All fresh air. We had a 12" pepperoni and bacon pizza. It was very good. Sauce was Very tomatoee. Crust was thin and just the right amount of flavor. Highly recommend! When we were there they had both garage doors open. It was a very hot day so be aware of this. For us it was a nice feature but did get A little warm when there wasn't a breeze. Service was very good. We got waited on right away and the drinks came quickly, which was good because as I mentioned above, it was a very warm day. We had water and it was cold, big plus. The food came pretty quickly as well. The tables are not all that big but they compensate some for that with a metal stand for the pizza. Works out well as it has a smaller footprint than the pizza pan does. The only negative really, and not a big deal really, was the size of the water glasses. They were like bathroom cup size, well close. We had plenty of water though because they left a larger water vessel on the table.
