We enjoyed the tour very much. We learned a lot and had a tasting flight. Their crafted mixed drinks are delightful. If you're looking for something to do in Baton Rouge, come here!

I visited on 6/8/24 and had a wonderful experience! Our tour guide Jimmy was phenomenal; although he’s not from the area, he knew more history of Oxbow’s origin at Alma than most native Louisianans do. I especially enjoyed how every piece of furniture, equipment, and product had a purpose, from the repurposed cane trucks, down to the straws and sanitizers.The rum was outstanding & I was able to leave with a souvenir!

I went there Saturday 7/6/24 and had a wonderful experience! I came with a large group of family and friends to celebrate a birthday. We did a tasting, a tour of the distillery, then hung out awhile and enjoyed a couple of cocktails. We were there about 3 hours or so and enjoyed ourselves the ENTIRE time! I wasn’t much of a rum drinker before but they have some really high quality rum that changed my mind!! Our tour guide (Jimmy I believe) was phenomenal! He was great at explaining the process, answering questions and providing interesting facts about the distillery and rum in general! He then made us 2 delicious cocktails I wish I would’ve gotten a picture of because they were also beautiful!! One of which was called Fool’s Gold and the other was frozen w a dried pineapple slice and leaf on top (sorry I don’t recall the name of the 2nd lol) and I highly recommend both! Everyone there was so kind and knowledgeable!! I enjoyed myself so much I forgot to get pics but this place is definitely a win! I loved the ambiance both inside and on the patio and I will be back!!!

We visited Oxbow Rum Distillery recently and had a great tour by Jimmy. He was such a fun tour guide with lots of tidbits of information and interesting facts. He also gave us our rum tasting afterward. Jimmy knows his rum and is quite the character! It was a very open and unique atmosphere - inside and out.

The tour is an amazing experience. The tour guide is a nice guy and very knowledgeable. Even locals should experience such as wonderful day in the city.

Visited this place while passing through Baton Rouge. I didn't get to take the tour, but I did hang out in the tasting room and enjoyed an absolutely delightful Ti' Punch, featuring the Oxbow Rhum Louisiane. Of course, I took home a bottle of said Rhum as well! The bartender was friendly and helpful. I hope to come back next time I'm driving through.

This place is a date night secret! My boyfriend and I had a blast!! Our guide, Cole was very down to earth and knew a ton of information! The tasting will get you smacked so I would highly recommend eating pretty good before you go! The drinks by Sal was top tier as well! I highly highly highly recommend Oxbow Rum Distillery with a a Live After 5 adventure afterwards! ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Oxbow and highly recommend a stop in to taste the delicious rums being distilled there. Jimmy was a wonderful bartender and host, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the different spirits. We opted for the full tasting and were impressed with the unique flavors of each pour. Although we didn't get to participate in a tour we were able to glimpse the impressive copper still! After our tasting we each enjoyed a specialty cocktail that was mixed perfectly and presented beautifully.

Great vibes and unique drinks using their single estate rum! Great tour as well. Will definitely be bringing visiting friends and family here.

Really enjoyed this tour with my brother-in-law. Sal did a great job with us and spent extra time answering our questions, etc. Very interesting and informative. It was really neat as I realized that the Sugar Cane comes from the Alma Sugar Plantation in Lakeland, LA. 5 months ago we rescued a Dalmatian through Dante's Hope that had been found on that Plantation and her name is Alma based on where they found her.

Took the tour with my family - it was entertaining, fun, and very informative. Then, we enjoyed some terrific drinks. Just a great way to spend an afternoon in Baton Rouge. Special shout out to Keith, our tour guide, and terrific drink mixer! He made our experience next level!

Stumbled upon this place, but I'm so glad I did! This is a family-owned distillery and they use locally sourced ingredients. Everything is made with love and it shows - don't miss out on the rum tasting! A special word of appreciation for my man Keith, who made sure my experience was enjoyable and fun. Come visit!

In town for a few days thought we’d give the Oxbow Distillery a try. We did a tour of the Oxbow that was led by Keith. He did a fine job explaining the process of how they made their rum from start to finish. And the rum tasting at the end of the tour was great! We ended up buying about six different varieties. I’d definitely recommend the Oxbow Rum!

The tasting with Kieth was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Every bottle had a story, every story had an anecdote, and every anecdote had a personalized recipe with a story and a personalized setting for each recipe. Kieth definitely has a love of his craft with an even deeper appreciation for the product he was representing. Every flavor was explained, every taste was enunciated with commentary, and every cocktail was lathered in respect and love for the taste and process. Not only did Keith deliver on the front of of a tasting, he went over the history and presentation of every bottle with a brief showing of the barrel room. Kieth went above and beyond to make our experience a personal and well aquatinted friendship with the distillery, especially for people from middle Tennessee. From tasting rendezvous with his anecdotes and out tasted, to the cocktail recommendations and their vehemently palatable citrus cocktail, all brougit to me by Kieth himself. After going over his house-made ginger, simple syrup, strawberry syrup, and personalized recipes; Keith had earned himself a 5 star rating amongst any distillery connoisseur or just an out of town aficionado looking for a wonderful experience. Keith went out of his way to make our rare experience one for the books. He offered anything he could, from imagery to information. Any question was met with a response full of respect and admiration, and any compliment was met with an avenue of exploration. His personalized mixologist twist on everything we said or asked made our experience one I won’t forget. His personality made our tour and I can almost guarantee it couldn’t be matched.

Such a beautiful little facility! They staff was very accommodating and we loved every minute of the tour and learning how they make the run from the ground up! Our tour guide was very friendly and personable! Would definitely go back!

Oxbow Rum Distillery was our first stop for Ladies Day Out. As soon as we arrived the gentlemen greeted us pleasantly . Our tour guide Keith was a delight and he continued with the tour even though all of the ladies were distracted by all the rum 😊 and the chitter-chatter did not detour him. I had the best conversation with the guy behind the bar and he answered all of our questions. We can’t wait until the temperature drops so we can come back and sit out on the nice patio area.

We only had one afternoon to spend in Baton Rouge and we pick this great distillery to tour. Keith gave us a tour of the establishment, answered our questions and educated us on the process. He made it a great experience for us. The rum was great and after our tasting we left with two different rums to bring back to Illinois Thanks!!!

I’m sad. I came by at 12:10 on Sunday to buy some bottles of Rhum Louisianne as a gift. They told they couldn’t sell me any for 45 minutes because they were giving a tour. I guess you should call ahead, they are supposed to be open at noon but I guess that’s an estimate. :( Bad part is that I’m headed out of town and can’t sit in the parking lot for 45 minutes. I was able to find three bottles at Albertsons, so all was not lost. Would love to see the place next time.

We step in side there were two guys behind the bar, one said hi. As we stood there looking around I guess They didn't want to wait on 2 old ladies. Finally, the third one walking in they started talking among themselves, to us it seemed like no one wanted to do the Tour. Finally we ask and Sal started the Tour.

We are from kansas city- my husband and youngest son enjoyed the tour and tasting! Incredible experience filled with history and wonderful sights and smells! Dont pass on the cocktails! Thanks Keith and all who shared the Oxbow story!

Tour started late but was good. Rums were enjoyable.

Hey there buds, this concoction isn’t bad but it’s not vodka. I spent a lifetime as a sailor and this is almost tequila. Vodka comes from potatoes or rice. You are using a high sugar plant. It’s not vodka. It’s more like Mezcal.

It was a great experience. I really enjoyed the environment. The employees were really on their job ,and they made you feel welcome. I'll definitely be back.

Great place to spend an afternoon. The bartender was friendly and helpful. We toured the distillery and sampled a lot of they rums. The rums are excellent and made from sugar cane grown in Louisiana. The atmosphere inside and on the patio is welcoming and comfortable. Plenty of parking also.

This place was amazing!! Great atmosphere and the bartender was so passionate and loved doing what she does!! Drinks were great! A definite need to go if you're in the area!!

This is a really nice place that we happened upon and had a nice drink and chats with the bartenders, who are great by the way. I will definitely be going back and their house brands are worth a try because they are good 👍

I can't recommend this place enough. Stopped in for a tasting, but stayed for the fellowship and incredible cocktails. Not sure what brainwashing liquor they feed the staff, but it's working. Caipirinha was as good as I've ever had and you can tell they take care in thier products and how they are served.

This place is so cool. The rum is amazing! The vodka is REALLY amazing! It was great to see the entire process from ground to glass under one company. It’s hard to find that. These guys really have something special! Ryne was super knowledgeable and friendly and walked us through the whole process. Thanks Ryne!

Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff (Keith was great). Beautiful tasting room with incredible live music. I highly recommend the agricole rum tasting since it’s very unique.

I stopped by to ask for directions and the bartender was more than helpful. I figured since I was there I might as well get a drink. I asked for his recommendation and he said the spiced rum on rocks so I had two. Delish! While I enjoyed my drinks he provided great conversation and I had the pleasure of meeting other workers that stopped by for drinks. All were very friendly and made my night a pleasurable experience. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back.

This place is AMAZING from the time you walk in the door until you leave.The personalities of the staff are engaging, the aesthetics are great. I love that they have made a variety of themed and cozy spaces. I can't wait to go back!!!!

The drinks are amazing! I'm not usually a spiced rum drinker, however the Rolled fashion(an old fashioned with spiced rum instead of whiskey) is amazing and I could drink them every day.

Single source distillery, delicious drinks, cool but casual dig, but the high light is the amazing staff/bartenders! Thank y'all! Be back soon!
