This place has some of the best sushi in my area. They have so many options to choose from and the prices aren't terrible. They have a to go location next door for those looking for food on the go

I called earlier in the day to reserve a table for 10 and they were very accommodating. Our table was ready when we got there even though the place was packed with patrons. Food and service was outstanding so we’ll be back soon.

Got sushi to go. Not sure if they were running out of supplies, having a bad day, or what, but we ended up throwing most of it away. The rolls were mostly rice and cucumber with very little fish and what fish it did have was super fishy and tasted like it had gone bad. Made Kroger sushi look gourmet. We also had an order bibimbap which was again mostly just rice with very little ingredients. Possibly better food served in restaurant but the take out was not good.

The server took 30 minutes just to get our order and we were the only people there!!! And then our rice was under cooked! And the sushi was so bad it made my friend puke! Never going here again!!

Great sushi, raw and cooked. Chicken fried rice is very different from most places, my wife didn't care for it but I love it. Nice people who work there too, will definitely be going back. Wish there was a little more fish in each roll for the price though, but can't win em all I guess

Just had dinner with my daughter and the server was HORRIBLE!!!! He barely came to our table and it wasn't even busy. He never refilled our waters and it took forever to flag him down for our bill. Needless to say, he did not deserve a tip so he didn't get one. The food was okay, nothing special. Won't be back.

Best Sushi spot in Michigan, nothing comes close. Been here so many times and it never disappoints. Get the popcorn lobster roll and tuna tartare. Also somehow they have the best fries anywhere.

Honestly, nothing really stood out as phenomenal. The food came out fast, but it wasn't anything I would come back to. The tempura was so HARD. Not appetizing in the least. I ordered a pineapple juice and it was all foam, and was warm. I didn't even drink it. The waitress was sweet, but not attentive.

First time here - not the last time. Very clean restaurant with beautiful aesthetics. Service was great. We had the S&T and Triple Fish Sushi, Tuna Tataki, Avocado salads, Miso soup, and a complimentary dessert with fried Oreos. Everything was fresh and presentation was beautiful! Typically, I'm not one to find sushi unappetizing, but the rolls I ordered left much to be desired. I tried three rolls: the Phoenix, Popcorn, and Chef's Selection. Unfortunately, none of them impressed me. The Phoenix had chewy, flavorless shrimp smothered in an excessive amount of sauce. While the Popcorn roll was passable, it lacked the finesse found in other establishments' basic rolls. As for the Chef's Selection, it was the most disappointing with its overly sweet sauce, that gave the impression of melting/thawing fish, which was off-putting from the start. Sampling six other rolls from my friends' orders didn't salvage the dining experience either. The spicy avocado salmon was mediocre at best, easily overshadowed by options elsewhere. The visually appealing lemon-topped roll was disappointingly bitter, failing to deliver on its promise. I've had lemon-topped rolls elsewhere that were top-tier and refreshing, but this one missed the mark. Even the seared roll, while boasting good quality fish, was marred by an excessive amount of cream cheese that I had to spit out, ruining an otherwise decent dish. Beyond the food, the service left much to be desired. We waited for 30 minutes and many failed attempts of signaling for assistance before a server finally took our order, and his rushed demeanor only added to the disappointment. We finished our water quite early on and had no one come to fill it up again, even when we were still getting food served to the table. The lack of attention was glaring, but the best part was other tables with women there did not face these issues from what we noticed. Given the hefty price tag of over $50 for three rolls and an app split 3 ways, the underwhelming food and service were particularly disappointing. Even during iftar, a time when most foods are enjoyed post-fast, the experience fell short. It's puzzling how this establishment maintains its ratings when the food isn't good and the service was far from satisfactory. Miso soup was good, though. I'll give them that. Though, how can you even mess up miso soup really.

We come to Oyaki 1x or 2x a month, and have never left disappointed. I dined In with my daughters and their friends on Saturday. Besides the food being amazing as always the service and kid friendless was wonderful. The owner was talking to my daughter and her friend who are 7 making sure they finish their food and once they finished he even brought them out a delicious dessert fried Oreos with ice cream on the house-they were thrilled!!!! This is our favorite sushi place , it’s always clean the food is fresh and delicious and they treat us like family! 10/10 highly recommend
