This is probably the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Flavors did not match entree descriptions. Customer Service was not great and authentic. My wife and I had the worst stomach ache once we got home.

The dishes seem to be a bit sweeter than my two other fave Thai restaurants (noodle house and Bahn) but overall it’s very good. Vegetables in all the dishes were cooked crispy and the chicken and beef was tender.

This was our first stop after flying into Fairbanks and we were not disappointed! I got the tofu pad Thai (hot) and my husband got the shrimp pad Thai. We were both impressed by how much protein was in our dishes. The flavor was great, and mine was truly hot, but not sweat your face off hot. The portions are huge! So it was great for lunch the next day as well.

Delicious, good portions, and nice Fairbanks Cabin x Thai atmosphere inside. My go-to. And easy for picking up takeout too.

Best Thai food in town some of my favorites: panang curry, green curry, garlic herb fried chicken, pad Thai, and pra ram chicken. And I plan on trying much much more!

We had veggie pad Thai, pa nang beef and green curry chicken. They were all excellent. Probably some of the best we've had.

I have been coming here for the past 3ish years and have NEVER had a single thing wrong. Service and food is always amazing. Tonight the food was not so good. I ordered pad thai, crab rangoon, and a Thai iced tea. The pad Thai had no sauce/seasoning as it usually has a ton from here and the noodles were so overcooked. Their crab Rangoon has always been handmade!!! Today it was from a freezer bag. Thai iced tea was not sweet at all but that’s whatever! I tried calling after looking at my food once I got home but it went straight to voicemail twice. Very frustrating as this was my go to spot ☹️

I did have gluten-free and vegan options here which was best. Such a lovely hidden gem this place was. Amazing food and the lady was so sweet and welcoming. Highly recommend to visit this place in Fairbanks

My sister and I visited from California and Florida and we were getting a little disappointed with the Fairbanks cuisine. That’s UNTIL we found this little culinary gem. From the moment you enter, you are greeted with warm hospitality, and the tantalizing aromas that waft from the kitchen leave you eager to explore the menu. With its authentic flavors, attentive service, and cozy ambiance, this place is a must-visit for anyone seeking a flavorful Thai dining experience.

Great Service, good food, large portions. Perfect for a late lunch or dinner. Great prices too! We would eat there every day if we stayed in Fairbanks longer.

So I came here to have lunch the other day and to try a new place. The food is absolutely amazing, I got the beef rangoon (it was a first time and amazing) and I was recommended the Panang Curry with pork hot and it looks just like the picture and OMG amazing. I told my wife about this place so we got takeout the next day and she got Pad Thai with chicken and she loved it, I again went with curry but this time my favorite Mussaman Curry with beef and hot and all was a amazing. I love curry but several places here it’s thin like a soup which sucks or its like straight white people Thai which sucks, not this, it’s thick and creamy and loaded with flavors. I now have a new favorite spot, hot is not too hot if you’re not into spicy, it’s probably more like a solid medium spicy. The noodles in my wife’s food were perfect and the dish had really good flavor. If you’re like me and have driven by this place a thousand times, stop and enjoy. 10 for 10 recommend

Had the green and yellow curry, both very delicious! Love a good curry and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. Service was great and the waitress was super welcoming!

Super friendly lady working there who made me feel very welcome as a new customer. I ordered the pad thai medium which I feel I could have done hot, and it was yummy. The drunken noodles were one of the best I've ever had, I loved the big pieces of Basil and it was all cooked to perfection, got the medium spice which was perfect for this dish. Both dishes had tons of protein and were huge portions so definitely worth the price!

I have tried 4 Thai restaurants in Fairbanks and this is the best. My husband and I love garlic fried chicken and Khao Soi (curry noodle bowl). Pad thai and pad see ew are also yummy and flavorful. Location is also great.

What a great little gem 💎 of a restaurant, the flavors are great and traditional healthy and delicious, the staff is kind courteous and fast. Our go to thai for any day of the week, and the drive through pick up window is so convenient on our busy days.

Delicious!!!! The green curry was the best I’ve ever had as was the tofu Pad Thai! I think we’re going to have to go back again during our five day visit!

The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were huge, the people that own it are so nice, and the prices are very fair, what more could you ask for? Excellent choice for tasty Thai!

Cute place, poorly insulated so your food and hot drinks will get cold fast. Server was friendly, service was okay, food came out hot and fast. Thai hot tea ($3) was good with free refills. The green curry with chicken and extra vegetables (20.95) was flavorful and good portion size. Like Lemongrass, you have to pay for rice ($2) separately (which is still weird to me, because, who doesn't eat rice with their curry?). I'd rank them behind the Noodle House and tied with Bahn Thai for 2nd in flavor, but lower on the list for their choice of vegetables. Pricey for what you're getting.

I absolutely love their Pad Thai w tofu & Xtra veg. My favorite out of all the local Thai restaurant options. I do wish they'd open an hour earlier. I know many restaurants hours have changed since Covid rocked our world so I understand.

This place is actually really good and authentic. Comparable or even better than many Bay Area/LA thai restaurants.

First time visit. Definitely would visit again!

Hidden gem in Fairbanks! Amazing food

Pad Thai is one of my favorite dining options in Fairbanks. The food is authentic, rich in flavor, and consistently fantastic. I’m prone to opting for takeout or delivery over dining-in, however I’ve eaten inside a few times and it’s a lovely (small) space. Warm and welcoming ambiance, friendly waitstaff.

Food and service was fantastic! My boyfriend doesn't like fried rolls but he ate them right up. I usually get nervous about rubbery chicken, but the chicken yellow curry was perfect. The medium spicy was spot on. 10/10

Our family often orders takeout here. The online ordering option makes it easy for everyone to get what they want. In a city of great Thai food, this place is among our favorites.

It was so good, the place was so clean and I managed to make it Vegan by choosing tofu. And the lady was super nice :)

The drive-thru situation confused me (there's only room for 2-3 cars before you're sticking out in the street) so I parked and ordered to-go. Happy I did - cashew chicken wasn't much to look at but was very tasty.

I had also heard the legend of Alaska's Thai food being some of the best in the world and we had to investigate that claim. This place did not dissapoint! They are located in Fairbanks near the University. We had the Pad Thai noodles and Fried Rice and couldn't get enough. We ended up getting it to go though, so I have no pictures for you guys...the sun was going down, it was starting to snow, the road was icy and I still had an hour and a half to drive to our next lodging, so sorry about that...but take it from me. It was to die for.

Really good drunken noodles! Have ordered takeout here several times as well as dined in. Can be a little slow sometimes but always worth the wait!

Small and informal, but hostess/server was very personable, friendly, and quite competent. The food was excellent. Our group got the pad pak (mixed vegetables) with chicken and a peanut dish with chicken. We will definitely be returning here!

The best pad Thai I’ve ever had

Not sure if this was considered the best place in town or the only one open, but they....were...BUSY!!! It took a while for me to get help to be seated in the tiny house turned restaurant. When I did get seated, the single waitress, hostess, cashier, cleaning lady eventually got to our table. She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off but she did it with grace and a smile. I'm not sure if they were normally short staffed or someone was out or what but as for the food, we LOVE Thai and have a Thai friend who has even made the food in our home before, and this was sub par. The Thai iced tea tasted like the leaves were reused so it was watered down. We ate Drunken Noodles (good), Panang Curry (pretty salty), yellow curry (can't make a comparison as we haven't had this particular dish before). We saw at least 2 tables of customers get up and walk out after being seated and not helped for quite some time. I took our kids out to the car to wait for hubby to pay the check and it took him another 15-20 minutes. I probably wouldn't go to this location again.

Came here for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the food and the hospitality. It feels like being in a magical Alaskan Thai cabin inside. Beautiful antiques and real art. Fresh flavors. I got hot level 2 green curry, but I wish I had gotten Thai hot, as it wasn’t as hot as I had hoped. Yummy fresh vegetables. Huge portions with a brown rice option. It is a very romantic spot to eat. They even have candles ready to go. I will return.

The yellow curry is really good. I recommend it.

Authentic Thai food in Fairbanks. It was only take out when we were there, and it was still delicious. We will be back.

I love this place. Pad Hed is my go to order and it is almost always wonderful. Today was a little salty, but overall I really enjoy it.

Delicious Thai food. Creamy Yellow Curry goes nicely over rice. Appetizer sampler was a great way to try a little of everything. Avocado chicken salad was so good!

My boyfriend and my go to Thai restaurant. I have been going there for 6 years and I have never had a bad experience. The place is small but has a homey feel too, though the bathroom is a little scary for me since it's in the basement. The food is always good and in big portions, especially during dinner time. I highly recommend this place.

This place is very quant. Run by what appears to be a small Thai family. Good prices, though maybe not the best pricing in town for Thai food. ~$15 for a bowl of curry, chicken with rice. The interior is very cute and has a fun rustic feel with tons of exposed wood.

Great place for thai food in the fairbanks area! It feels like a solid local eatery. Every one their is very friendly and the food is on point. Some of the best pad thai I've had in town and the test if the menu stands up very well.

They can be a bit inconsistent.  My mother likes this place (Tom Kha Gai). In my opinion they are way over priced. It's going to cost you over $20 for soup and rice. I've ordered Pad Thai, twice, both times it tasted a little off. My mother frequents this place (four times a month) and sometimes brings family. On one occasion my niece was with her and ordered something, requesting no mushrooms. Mushrooms ended up in the dish and she mentioned it to the waitress, waitress replied 'those are expensive mushrooms' (expensive for whom) and would not correct the order.So as a result, me mums doesn't eat their any longer.  

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience in Fairbanks at Pad Thai Restaurant. The fpod was authentic and the service was great as well. No wine or beer as of yet but maybe sometime soon. Enjoy!!

Very nice little place to eat. Warm staff who serve delicious pad thai that is super hot and ready to be devoured. The interior was nice and clean, even kinda fancy with the white table cloths. It turned out to be a great place to go for and date. My husband enjoyed a thai chicken salad - #13 on the menu (I cant remember its name). He got it with medium spice which really complimented the salad. I had the tofu pad thai - mild - and even my hubby was stealing the tofu off my plate (he normally doesn't like tofu). We had a great experience and will definitely come back - next time I plan on taking advantage of their outside seating.

I order online all the time, love their food. However, recently, when I've selected and PAID for tofu to be in my dish, there hasn't been any. I let them know about the issue this last time I ordered. I received my food, pulled it out of the bag, and on the container it said "EX TOFU" with a star drawn on it! THERE WAS SO MUCH TOFU! I really appreciate them doing that for me. Highly recommend them.

So expensive!!! A bowl of soup will cost you $17 add rice $3. My niece specifically asked for no mushrooms, they added mushrooms. They didn't want to have anything to do with reordering or anything else. The only response she got was, Those mushrooms are very expensive. I can only explain it as Greed.

Excellent food, good service. My wife asked for a hot curry but only got mild, which is relatively minor. However, the curry was very milky and more like soup. The pad Thai was delicious though.

The food in this place was out of this world. Everything was authentic, and the owner even changed things for our party of 3, such as adding more soup to the soup for 2 without extra charge. Menu is extensive withunusual and tasty vegetarian options. The place was a bit small for their volume of business and the bathroom was lo ated down steep stairs in basement. Food and service great, facilities less so.

We got into Fairbanks late and were craving some Thai food. They were still open, the service was great and the chicken pad himmaparn was amazing.

Good food for the price. Definitely one of the better Thai restaurants in town. Ordered the Panang Curry with Chicken, Seafood Tom Kha and Thai Salad. All three entrees were great. Ordered them all in Thai spicy which definitely added some kick. The dining room area was a little bit limited but wasn't bothered by it. Definitely recommended.

Really authentic and tasty Thai food.

Fairbanks and Anchorage have this sort of rivalry where we look down our noses at each other. On one front we here in Anchor town quite simply kick but, cuisine, except for Thai; they are the self proclaimed kings and deservedly so, A trip to Fairbanks usually means so, so to terrible eating, till now. My daughter and I ate hear and let me say it is so cozy, imagine wandering in to this little cabin in the Spruce, its dark cold, very cold and soon piping hot delicious food drives at your table. We had hot Thai tea that was delicious and needed no, milk or sugar. She had the drunken Udon and I the Drunken egg noodles, ample portions, quality food and delicious. Plenty of veggies, tofu and meat, they did not skimp. Now for the spice, oh baby, mild, med, hot 1, 2, 3 and Thai. Look i'm no light weight so I went with a 1. Flames people, flames in my mouth, but still tasty. Who those people are that eat Thai hot, I want to meet them. I will just say if you are visiting Fairbanks do your self a favor and try one of the many our standing Thai restaurants, you could not do better than this one.

I've been going there for about 4 years and they're always nice, have great tasty food and thoughtful.

Personally not fond of thai food. My Granddaughter LOVES everything here as does her family. Drive thru service if you call and order ahead.

Our visit to the Pad Thai Restaurant, located at 3400 College Road, almost to University Avenue, here in Fairbanks, Alaska, was, at best, a mixed-review. It borders on being a sweet-little-place, to a bit-of-a-mess. Parking is somewhat limited in the back. The outdoor seating area for nice weather alongside of the main building is, to put it mildy, more than a tad cluttered. The food. Now we are at the nubbin of this review. Food? We wanted to sit inside and eat. We did not want a take-out order. Our party of four were not able to get any food to enjoy within the restaurant. The rest of the story. We are staying at Billie's Backpackers Hostel just up College Road from the Pad Thai Restaurant. We heard great things here at Billie's about it so off we went. We got there at (count them here) eight minutes past 9PM (9:08PM). Got it? The sign (I have a photo of it attached) showing their hours indicates they are open until 9:30PM. We were told " We close at 9:30PM." and were not served. Go figure. So if you want to eat here, if you woulld like to dine-in, I suggest that you go early.
