This fish camp in Ponte Vedra Beach did not disappoint! They had tons of fresh seafood options and are right on the intracoastal in Ponte Vedra. The restaurant has a neighborhood feel with amazing views and is the perfect stop for your next meal!

Doing a once in a lifetime vacation at TPC Sawgrass and found this place for lunch. This is a hidden gem for sure, just outside the gate to TPC. Starting with fried artichoke hearts with a lemon aioli, excellent crunch on the outside with a smooth interior and the aioli just adds to the flavor bomb. Enjoyed the scallop ceviche just wished it was served with plantain chips not crackers. The ceviche was perfectly prepared and well balanced, but crackers are for fish dip. The shrimp and grits was on point, creamy grits with perfectly cooked shrimp very flavorful just had to add some hot sauce for me. The wife enjoyed some fish tacos with avocado and potato wedges, excellent flavor and great combination of flavors. If you are getting your golf game on check this place for an ace at lunch. ✌️😎⛳️

This restaurant is located in a high end residential area. It sits on a waterway in beautiful Ponte Vedra Beach. The atmosphere is very comfortable and pleasant. We stopped in for a late lunch which consisted of fresh fish and a calamari appetizer. This’ delicious meal was quenched with a local IPA that was refreshing. Our server Tom was very good and made the outing a success. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have fans outdoors that make the Florida heat comfortable. This one goes on my favorite list.

I came for dinner with my companions. Sat outside by the Intracoastal waterway at a picnic table under a huge tree.. Delightful view. It was hot outside and humid but this was tempered by two huge fans. Tried the broiled seafood platter. This is composed of shrimp, scallops, fresh fish, parsley lemon butter, red potatoes and seasonal veggies. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned without so much salt that it overpowers the food. I highly recommend it. The dinner rolls are $0.75 each and though I wanted one to soak up the sauce, I declined. I eat too much bread as it is. I did have the key lime pie for dessert and a taste of my dinner companion's cranberry bread pudding with white chocolate served warm with vanilla ice cream a la mode. Oh, those desserts were so tasty! Service was warm, friendly and attentive. There is valet parking which I recommend. It can get crowded. Handicapped accessible. When in the area again, I will return!

Only one dish review. Crab cakes were not good. Very very fishy beyond any I’ve ever had before. Wine on the expensive side for casual. Great river views.

First time here and decided on the blue crab crab cakes. Not so good. Tasted as if they were dipped in sea water. The dish included boiled potatoes mixed with zucchini. The wine was a bit expensive for such a casual place. Finally…the river views were excellent.

The Blackened Ttigger Fish was outstanding. The steamed oysters and the ceviche as appetizers were great. Excellent service and atmosphere!

Came in on the evening of 5/6. We had a reservation at 7:45 and were seated several minutes early. I can normally determine how the service will be by how quickly the server cones to our table. We waited and finally someone brought us water and said our server would be with us. After waiting a bit longer, he showed up and apologized as said they were busy. We ordered appetizers which took longer than expected but they tasted good. We placed our main order and proceeded to wait. After almost an hour of waiting our server came up and said our food would be ready soon but did not arrive. Our server then returned and once again apologized and said he would see if he could comp our appetizers for the extended wait. Shortly after that, the manager came to our table to apologize and proceeded to tell us our waiter had never put in our order and was going to be another 10-15 minutes before it would be ready. We had sat down about 7:35 and it was now pushing 9pm. Needless to say we chose not to stay. If you want to waste your time, I encourage you to eat here. If not find someplace else. The manager did not even offer to comp our meal if we stayed. Will never step foot in this place again.

Relaxing Florida atmosphere, excellent service and food was good!

It's always a pleasure to visit Fish Camp. The servers are always friendly, and the food is delicious. I'm not the biggest fan of a few of their in-house sauces and dressings, but that's a personal thing. The clam chowder is amazing, and I highly recommend the whole fried fish, especially the fried snapper, if it's available. As for dessert, the bread pudding is to die for. Just note that it takes a minimum of 10 minutes to prepare.

Unassuming from the outside until you see the jam packed parking outside then you think wow this must be something good going on here and boy we were right! Lovely food, great service but the deserts are amazing. As a brit we had been disappointed many times with the offers of bread pudding which were nothing like bread pudding but here it is spot on! Great flavours, great ingredients and friendly staff. Well worth a visit here, was one of our favourites during our stay visiting relatives!

Amazing!! A must go to place. Ask “what goes good with Tasso gravy??” and just get that.

Palm Valley Fish Camp never disappoints. It's the first place my wife and I went when planning to move to Jacksonville. Since we moved to JAX Beach we've went to Palm Valley Fish Camp many times. Their oysters – raw or fried – are amazing and so are the fried calamari tossed with Pecorino cheese and rosemary. Simply the best I've ever had. The ambience is relaxed, cozy overlooking the water. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here after a busy day. The service was exceptional and the food was fresh, cooked and seasoned to perfection. We highly recommend this place when you are in the area and we'll be back to visit them and try some of their other establishments!

Arrived early, plenty of good parking. We had whole fried snapper. Fresh fish and great recipe but a little over cooked. My dry gin martini became red wine. They only serve beer and wine. I got over it. Terrific focused and professional server. Would definitely go back.

Food was just ok. We waited a good while to get water or a waiter. Mot my type of environment but the waiter tried to serve without partiality. Dockside is way better

This place made our whole weekend! The service was top notch. Patricio was the best and made excellent wine recommendations! And the food was absolutely delicious. There were many specials offered. We enjoyed the red shrimp, halibut and fried shrimp and also the calamari. Don’t miss the bread pudding! 10/10 Highly recommend!

Great casual place for a nice bite and drink. Great service. The only warning to all is do NOT make a reservation online. Apparently while you’ll receive an email “confirming” your reservation, the restaurant does NOT get them. We arrived very early for ours, thankfully, and were told “the online reservation system doesn’t work”. But as we were early, we were able to get a seat. One might ask what they would have done had it been busy, or, why don’t you remove that option if it doesn’t work. In any event; good food and drink. Just call for a reservation if you want one.

Great food, friendly staff and great location. Very unassuming from the outside and walking in but the outside is beautiful. The inside was comfortable. Only disappointment was 2 of our meals became unavailable quite a while after ordering rather than just as we'd ordered and it was one after another with a gap inbetween but we enjoyed our meal so much I won't remove any stars for this review. Bread pudding is exactly how it would be in the UK. We've tried others in the USA which are nothing like the UK version but this was spot on and delicious. Gator bites were a first for us too and we're thoroughly enjoyed! So much so when we drive past St Augustine Fish Camp we stopped for a take out of gator bites!

Red shrimp scrumptious! Trigger fish overcooked. Shrimp & grits delicious. Salmon BLT extraordinary! Praline cheesecake—divine—even though not made in-house. Our server was perfectly attentive—absolutely fabulous!

Very disappointed with this experience. We were told a 30 minute wait, and ended up waiting an hour and 10 minutes. The bar took over 20 minutes to get our drink, and food wait time as incredibly long as well. Our server Alex was fantastic, he was serving as many tables as he could and doing a great job, but was at the mercy of what seemed like a chaotic kitchen. The food itself was really good, I would recommend the seafood. However due to wait time and tense atmosphere I would not recommend.

The food is just the best. I had the beet salad and shrimp and grits (with an extra side order of collard greens because they’re just that good). My husband had the fried oysters and said they were the best he’s ever had.

Tons of potential here. Most of the food was excellent, especially the whole fried snapper. The fish with pasta and trout dip were good. The scallop ceviche had a mysterious and scary fizz to it (we sent it back) and the coleslaw tasted a bit past its prime. No biggie. The main dining room was great but outdoor seating was under a tent and had a second-class vibe. Service was professional, knowledgeable, and engaging but spread too thin resulting in sporadic service. When we called, we were told tables were available inside and outside but when we arrived 5 minutes later, there was a 30 minute wait, relegating us to the outdoor tent.

Tuesday night shrimp special was awesome. Happy hour on menu is misleading.

Loved this place. Went for an early lunch / brunch. Food was great and sitting outside was wonderful. Only downside was no hard drinks like a Bloody Mary. I’d go again as this was a positive experience.

Very upset with table we had. It’s was very wobbling.They have different sides for certain special and if you ask for them they tell you they only make a certain amount. Fish Camp is not very good and fitting the needs of their customers. They need to change up their sides that they’ve have for years!!!!

Clam Chowder was excellent. Chef special salad with butternut squash was also very good. Shared the fish tacos which were nicely prepared and presented. All in all a good experience. I would recommend trying to reserve the tables closer to the water for the best seats.

Tried to have a nice dinner there when I pulled up I told Vallet I have a company car and I was the only one that can drive it.. he told me I had to park next door and walk along a busy dangerous rd to eat there. I will never come here again

I ordered a Cod fish sandwich. Basically what I got was a roll with almost no fish in it lettuce, tomato and a ton of mayonnaise. My wife order a Salmon sandwich without the bread. We were both shocked about how tiny the piece of Salmon was. For $17 dollars a sandwich you would certainly expect more. We will not be going back.

A charming, more cozy version of this Fish Camp franchise, compared to the one in St Augustine. Lots of friendly service people. Was solo and sat at the bar. Kept it simple with a wedge salad and soup. But the all-day seafood soup deserved an honorable mention. Tomato based chowder that was stock full of seafood in stewlike consistency and ever so slight touch of heat. Delicious. Oh, and salad was good too!

Awesome restaurant on the water/river beautiful outdoor spaces with heaters & fans. Delicious southern comfort, seafood. Tried the red wine based daily seafood chowder and the New England clam chowder both excellent. Delectable steak, fries, and hot sauces, but by far the grits were the best we’ve had since Houston! Pecorino or Parmesan laced with fresh thyme. The chef seems French trained! Food does not come out fast, but it’s delicious. We had a very sweet server but he wasn’t super polished. Would recommend this location and their other locations that have similar menus with slight changes and different atmospheres. We also like the one in Atlantic Beach area this one was in Ponte Vedra Florida. They feel like local places versus tourist traps.

I've eaten here twice, a few months apart, and had something different each time. Both experiences were excellent.

Waited an hour and a half for my fish sandwich. I finally got it and it was about a quarter inch thick and might have weighed about 2 ounces nothing but bread and very very disappointed with the service as well. Horrible place don't go

Excellent food horrible service. Found it hard to tip my waiter. I did though (an undeserved 20%). Took over 3 hrs for a meal with appetizers.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch Friday afternoon and somehow got lost in the shuffle. We could not get any service whatsoever when a big strapping man named Paul came by and asked if we had been served yet come to find out later Paul is owner of this establishment took care of us in short order and picked up the tab for the neglect of the servers old school Big Time! Flawless service and food. This place caters to its customers by including many thoughtful details to your experience as a diner. Our server was exceptional in his recommendations and added a lot of value by describing dishes with more insight than you get from the menu. We had a starter of Prince Edward Island Oysters, the avocado shrimp 1/2 salad, clam chowder, grilled Ahi salad and bread pudding for dessert. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Made a Togo order, everything came great . This is one of our family favorite place to eat . My favorite two plates are the octopus salad and the linguini pasta. Also, they have really good oysters from Virginia.

We had been here before but a while ago. It feels like it geared more towards locals and some of the staff seem complacent with average behavior. The young woman greeting seemed on top of things, as there was another one also flitting around. We finally got seated about 25 minutes after our reservation time so what's the use if you can't do better than that? We spoke to several folks sitting at the bar with reservations as well who were waiting. We ordered our food and it seemed to take a long time but I kind of got that sense from standing near the front and waiting on our table as food sat with no one picking it up, tickets put up but missing condiments, fried or coleslaw. The food is ok, not great as many reviews says it is so I guess it is what you are used to. On our way out, someone seated at the bar commented they thought there was some foreign item in her food so I asked her if I could take a picture because they were one of the ones who had a reservation but had to wait. We overheard the converstation between them and the manager and he appeared non-chalant there was something in the food that did not belong. I would have hoped he comped the food but I doubt he did. We saw one of the cooks eating with his hands and then placing food on plates. Really? While I am not OCD, first, you should not be eating in the kitchen, second, if you are going to handle food with your hands, put on gloves but to do it and no gloves, no washing hands, etc? Ridiculous We won't be back.

Great selection of local craft beers and looked to have a lot of wines (not a wine drinker). Servers were experienced and professional. Food was served hot and delicious. I will eat there again when in the area. Outside overlooks intercoastal waterway creek. Lunch entries were ~ $17-$25+. The fish and chips sandwich on long hoggie roll can feed two people.

My husband and I come here often and absolutely love the food but we have to mention the staff too! All of the servers and managers have been great but we usually see Josh who is so friendly and always gives the best service! Our meals are perfectly prepared and while we have our list of favorites we usually end up ordering the fresh fish entree that always proves to be creative and delicious! Thank you PVFC!

Went in for an early Sunday brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Morgan did a fantastic job, and all of the staff was welcoming. Seafood delicacies galore! Great specials, and huge variety including our choices of a dozen raw oysters, fried shrimp, oysters, and scallops. One of us had the eggs Benedict with Deviled Crab and added bacon and he loved it. An all-around fabulous seafood spot on the water, and it's no wonder you can't get in without a reservation. A real fish camp-feel jewel!

Great service and excellent quality food. Royal Reds taste just like lobster. Grilled mahi with grits and collards were dynamite. White chocolate and cranberry bread pudding with vanilla ice cream was delish.

It's not a fish camp but an expensive restaurant. If you look at it, that was it good.

The setting is really beautiful if you're sitting outside, and the inside is very nice too and not noisy. The wait staff was excellent. The fried calamari appetizer was excellent. I had the seafood linguine with the oil and garlic and it was good but not great. The crab cakes were good, and the salmon was very good. The bread pudding with cinnamon was outstanding.

You will have a good food experience if you get at the point to have someone taking care of your orders. Disappointed. This is the second time we come here to have lunch and can’t get water bring to us in less than 10-15min seating - and this when we don’t decide to just leave. You guys need to get better on service. It’s such a nice place and good food but how are we going to have the goodies from here if it takes more than 15min to somebody show up and take care of us?

Absolute favorite place in Ponte Vedra and St Augustine and we never miss an opportunity to dine there when we are in town. Great selection of ocean delicacies and very well executed. It’s a celiac’s dream…they have a gluten free fryer. Fish and chips, clam, oyster and soft shell crab fritters, whole fried fish, calamari. All that isn’t possible for the person avoiding gluten, but all possible here! Not to mention it’s also very pet friendly and one can arrive by boat. Servers are so friendly. Always make us feel at home. No wonder they’re always booked so make a reservation or arrive very early to avoid disappointment.
