Pana Roma Pizza & Pasta - 3.5/5 Unfortunately it was nothing special. It wasn't bad pizza but didn't stand out. Flavors were okay. Cheese was decent. Sauce wasn't good. Crust was as expected. We all agree that we wouldn't have it again.

I was dropping off a tuxedo next door and my wife and I decided to try this place for a slice of pie, but they said they had a chicken parm special that day, so we ordered the special. It was unbelievably excellent. My wife and I had just gotten married the day before, and we were talking to the staff about it. Afterwards our server said the meal is on us. "Are you serious?" Wow!

Hadn't been there in a while but food was great as always with friendly service.

My Eggplant Parmigiana was very tasty and my wife’s Manicotti was also very good! If you order anything from here, you have to get an order of their garlic knots. They are definitely worth the money! We are very pleased with the food quality and freshness of the meals and salads. Give it a try, you’ll really enjoy their food!

The food was great. I like theirs spaghetti and Alfredo with slice sausage. Dining in sometimes took 30 minutes to get my food. When I do get it was hot and ready to eat.

Been coming here for years. Love the girls that work up there and everything is always fresh and hot! I’ve never had a bad experience here! It’s a must have! It’s also been in Panama City for almost 50 yrs!! It’s a piece of the history of Bay County! ❤️ If you’re in the mood for pizza, try the Bianca white pizza! AMAZING! Also the calzones is a lot of food for the dollar!

I live in Tallahassee and called Pana Roma yesterday and ordered a charcuterie board for a special anniversary. Lisa did an outstanding job. It was beautiful. It was very much enjoyed by the happy couple. I highly recommend them. Thank you , Lisa.

1st time here and AMAZED!!! Ordered the bruschetta, garlic knots, wings, veal Parmesan, spaghetti and a pepperoni roll. Everything was amazing!!!

This was my first time visiting, Pana Roma Pizza & Pasta. It was really good. The pizza was delicious. The atmosphere was nice for a casual dining place. Great place for lunch or dinner if you want something easy.

Not the same as when Tony ran this place. Why change the sauces?

$33 never ate Brought back to store and server wouldn't help She was too busy and couldn't cope.

First time, plan to return. Both items ordered were very good with good quality and fairly priced. My sausage,pepper and onion sandwich was just like at the fair. It was yummy!!

This is our favorite place for good Italian food. I also used them for catering my birthday dinner and it was excellent, everything was made fresh and packed very well for travel. Thanks so much for making my birthday dinner special. I will definitely use Pana Roma again .

Four of us went for lunch and due to previous good experience ordered the eggplant parmigiana. When the salad came out we mentioned to the waitress that it was wilted and full of lettuce heels. She said that they had changed suppliers and had several complaints and should have rejected the last delivery due to poor quality. When the eggplant came out, all four orders had a heavy overcooked crust and an unrecognizable inside. When we told the waitress how this did not compare to the great dishes we had in the past she apologized and called the cook (chef?). She came out and said that they had changed suppliers and that the eggplant was so thin that when she cooked it , it was mushy and she had to deep fry it and consequently it was so hard and overcooked to be not edible. She offered an extra helping of spaghetti as compensation but when that was turned down she said that was all she could do without calling the General Manager. Later she returned and offered us $2 each off of our tab. When I asked if that was what she thought the entree was worth she said that was all the General Manager would approve. I don't know if this is a result of cost cutting or new help or what but the changes and lack of concern by management has cost them four good customers. PS The waitress was excellent and tried her best to smooth over the situation.

The pizza was delicious but the salad greens didn’t look good.

Rubbery tasteless crust. Italian sausage was overpowering. Skimpy on the cheese. Sauce not bad but tasteless. I suggest gas station or frozen pizza before the pies here.

Pizzas and calzone were spectacular. We were seated immediately. Service was fast and efficient.

Atmosphere/cleanliness: Quiet, calming Italian music really sets the mood. It's quaint but could use some serious updating to the tables, chairs, and decor. Perhaps some simple table cloths with stunning center pieces with a fresh paint job and new lighting structure would be a low cost investment and bring much needed new life. Bathrooms need a serious wipe down on the walls, fresh paint, and less clutter. Service: service was top notch. Server was fantastic in every way. Nothing more needed to say here. Food: Jalapeno poppers were quite good, although they lacked any heat whatsoever. The Tonys Sub was one of the servers recommendations and it was a solid sub but nothing that will blow you a way. Just a great sub, and there's nothing wrong about that considering the price. Excellent sub roll, nice and soft. Pizza was okay for the price. Unfortunately their pizza doesn't compare to a place like Slice House or Joe Mama's pizza. It was a decent pizza, but not spectacular by any means.

After hurricane Michael I thought Pana Roma was gone forever, then I just happened to see there sign next to academy sports and was so happy, there stuffed meats pizza is too die for, BEST PIZZA EVER, it's literally a 12 pound pizza, but it's almost heaven when u eat it,

Ordered the lasagna and the side Caesar that comes switch it..... Only got the Salad. Waited about 30 minutes wondering when I was going to get my food and then eventually just got my check lol. A half eaten salad on the end of the table should have been indicator that I was under the impression other food was coming... I really don't understand how that miss communication happened but lady if youre reading this please know their might be a misunderstanding if you think they just want a small salad for lunch and isn't elderly or something. Just paid and left because I had a meeting to go to.

Pizza was good. Fresh mushrooms are always a plus. Just seemed to be light on the sauce. Hand tossed crust also another plus.

Staple of Panama City that remains open since my childhood. One of a kind. Consistently great customer service and food! Favorite items are the eggplant parmigiana and the pizza.

We have loved this place since we started going to the mall in the 1980's. The jukebox is gone, but the pizza is still fantastic!

We just happened on this amazing little place! The food is incredible! The jalapeño poppers are the best we have ever had, made in house. Everything was delicious! Being from Dallas we know and love good food! Cannot recommend enough! Friendly fast service too

We were looking for a new place to eat because the choices in this town are horrible. We decided to give it a try because it had a good rating. My fiance ordered a pizza which was pretty good. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The waitress comes back and says they usually use baked chicken on it but they were out and they could use a breaded chicken they use for the chicken parm. I said ok. As we sat there thinking about it we came to the conclusion that they were going to give me a frozen deep fried breaded patty. The dish arrived and of course we were right. To make it even worse, the patty was probably a 2 inch diameter pice of meat very thin. Can it get worse? The answer is, yes. The bill came and I was charged $5 for the chicken. I'm astonished how restaurants are using frozen food and charging high prices for it. I didn't even mention that the sauce could use more flavor, It was probably out of a can. Needless to say but I don't recommend this place for anything other than pizza.

So we are pizza people we have been here over a year found this place and what a great place it is been here for over 40 years and such a great place service outstanding food amazing love it

Not the local establishment it used to be. We ordered the child’s spaghetti and meatballs. With an S, plural meatballs. It’s in the menu that way. Well, my daughter got one meatball. I just very simply and tongue-n-cheek asked our server. Her reply was. Yes, be we hear that all the time. With a sigh as if she was so annoyed to have to explain this just one more time it was going to send her over the edge. Moments later she very snotty dropped a meatball in front of my child and told her, not me mind you. ‘Don’t worry about it!’ I told her that we were not in fact ‘worried about it’. We left our cash payment under the ramekin holding that meatball(caught in the middle of this whole thing). And we left. Never to return again. I remember going to PanaRoma pizza way back in the day at the PCM with the red vinyl booth seats and the peninsula countertop and we used to watch the carousel of pizzas in the oven. Well. The memories will have to stay in the past and I’ll take my daughter to other places besides this one so that she can build her own fond memories. Thankfully dad is here today to we threw the crummy places that exist today.

Won't even answer the phone to place an order. Bad for business. Have enjoyed Pana Roma for many years. Sad to see a good family run business go this way.

I went here for lunch. It is a smaller restaurant at the end of a shopping center set way off the street. You can miss it without trying. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and a salad (one of the lunch specials). The salad was a good size with fresh good looking items. The pepperoni pizza was average. The price was ok for what I got. I would have rated this better, yet they need to pay attention to the overall look of the place. Please clean the air ducts. If they can look bad, what is to be said for the kitchen.

Usually get great service, but this time I had to clean off my own table and waited 30 mins to be asked what I would like to order, which I knew before walking in and without looking at menu, as I order it everytime I'm there.

A hidden gem in the wild world of pizza and Italian restaurants, everything is fresh and homemade, true Italian food, with great daily specials. The staff is always nice, and I can't go on enough about how fresh the food is. Always a pleasant experience. Don't forget the breadsticks and a side of marinara.

The pizza was pretty good but the toppings reminded me of that old commercial, “where’s the beef.” Okay owner, I’ll admit when you provide a good meal. To answer your question, I got a meat lovers on 10 Jan 22. It wasn’t very good. I ordered the chicken parmigiana today and it was very good. Large portion and good flavor. As such, I have adjusted my rating.

Delicious little pizza and pasta restaurant! We went at lunchtime and there was one server, and she was phenomenal. Many restaurants are struggling to get staff these days, so I expected to wait a lot longer, but the wait was quicker than I expected. The garlic knots are hot, soft, and come swimming in the most addictive garlic herb butter and are served with delicious marinara. The lunch portion of eggplant parmesan was perfect, and it was served with a small salad. The house made Italian dressing was delightful. My children enjoyed the generous sized pizza slices. We will definitely be back!

The wait staff is wonderful.. They work together as a team if your waitress is busy the other one has no problem refilling your drinks.. They are super busy on Fridays so don’t go expecting fast food service instead enjoy a glass of wine, or a beer and definitely get the garlic knots as you wait on your delicious dinner..

I don't think I have had Pana Roma pizza since they were in the Panama City mall. We were NOT disappointed. The best pizza I have had in a long time. We chose the Tony's Special. YUM!! Our waitress was Shannon and she was amazing. She was very sweet and knows how to treat customers. She's definitely a benefit to their team, she gets 5 stars too. We will be back! Oh, and they have drive-thru if you're in a hurry. 😁

As a local, I have seen the restaurant a million times driving up and down 23rd St. The location is noticeable, I just never really tried it until I saw them on Door Dash. I own a local business not far away, I always try and support other small business owners and Pana-Roma didn't disappoint. The pizza is simple, yet bursts with flavor and tastes like someone literally made it with pride. I have since Door Dashed them several times, saw them at the St. Andrews Mardi Gras Parade and Pana Roma is def on my go to list for places to eat.

Found this in TripAdvisor and the reviews were good so we gave it a try. Was not disappointed as often happens. The garlic knots were outstanding and we got a couple of orders. We had pizza, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Fettuccine Alfredo all of which were good. The only thing I has any problem with was the large Greek salad. The dressing was very vinegary and it had no feta cheese on it. The cheese was listed on the menu so I guess they were out or forgot to add it.

1st time and it won't be the last. Pepperoni pizza was great, meat calzone was delicious, and the steak and cheese was awesome. The young lady who took my order was super nice. Can't wait to go back and get that steak and cheese.

Had garlic knots and a pizza on this visit. Service was fast and friendly. Cozy inside seating with minimal distractions. The food arrived fast and hot with garlic knots in a tasty buttery, oily and garlic coating...they were very tasty and we could have eaten more than the 4 that were in the order. We actually kept the garlic butter sauce to dip our pizza crusts in 😃 it was a good decision and will be doing this in the future. Our choice for pizza toppings we kept simple, going with pepperoni and mushroom. The pizza was piping hot and covered nicely with the toppings and a good cheese blend. They perfectly baked the crust so it wasn't to doughy and not to crisp. We enjoyed our visit and definitely will be back.

Food was very good, but I used to cook for Tony and Sal when the store was in the mall. I ordered the Lasagna and I was disappointed that it was not the same recipe I remember. Owner said she uses their recipies so they must have changed the recipe over time. Too bad, it used to be my favorite. Good thing I remember how to make it

From the start we were very happy for not getting turned away after ordering 5 minutes before closing time. I didn't realize this until she let me know to go through the drive through for pick up since they would be closed when we would arrive. We were glad we placed our order just in time. The food was very good and satisfied our craving for pasta! We will be returning!

Fried Ravioli, I had Manicotti, my husband had 2 custom slices. There house dressing is delicious. I'm from a heavily populated Italian town. This was the only place I could find Manicotti. Huge portion. I was very satisfied. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Found this little gem by accident, it is in a strip mall and sits off the road. The restaurant is cozy, ( small about 12 tables) The food is phenomenal! Four of us were staying in Panama Beach and craved Italian food. The spaghetti and meatballs were amazing, the lasagna was delicious along with the calzones! Everything tasted homemade and it was truly delicious! Beer and wine are available. We met the owners mother who was so genuinely friendly and welcoming! What a wonderful little restaurant!

Love at first bite! I got a 12" Supreme Pizza and it was fantastic! The pizza crust was phenomenal and you can taste and feel how it's made from scratch. Service was fast and friendly! I wish I lived around here because I would go here quite often.
