It's a Panera bread. Decent coffee and tasty but overpriced food. Clean tables

Have been going to panera for years, like the food but really like the bear claws as does my entire family . Can't believe panera discontinued the bear claws. Not sure who made this awful decision but obviously no marketing or especially customer input was conducted decision Recommend bringing back the bear claw!!!

Service through the drive through was fantastic! I got off work and just wanted some soup from Panera and went through the drive through for the tomato soup but when I pulled up to pay, the Team Leader let me know they were all out. He was kind and gracious enough to let me try other soup options(as I have never had any other than the tomato), it was almost closing time and he didn’t rush me, was professional and helpful through and through! Ended up with the Broccoli Cheddar soup and it was delicious :)

Went into the store. Waited for a couple of minutes thinking the girl who was slicing bread wasn’t aware that I was there. Said excuse me. She turned around and pointed to another employee who was putting in new drinks. She put the one in, pulled out another and walking past me said I’ll be right back. I assumed she would place the container now and wait on me. I assumed incorrectly. She filled it up and when I left after not being waited on for at least six minutes, she was returning the full container to the drink area. Customers first.

Updated menu with lots of new items to try. I had a Southwest chicken salad this time. I was very good with a great variety of ingredients. Creamy dressing pulled it all together. They have the best bread in the sandwich business too. Will be back soon.

Really slow service, they charge things that you haven't ask and then they ask you if you want the receipt.... horrible

I am so irritated! I order a pick two with a baguette as my side. It’s lunch time and I’m rushing to get back to work. I quickly check ands see the soup and sandwich in my bag, but run home ands guess what… no baguette! Well, now I do not have time to go back! Is it that difficult to check the order before you push out out of the window? You can clearly see the baguette on the order.

Best Panera I’ve ever visited. Spacious, cozy outdoor seating, clean. Staff was so pleasant and Wendy was delightful! Had hot coffee, perfectly toasted bagel, and a truly beautiful sandwich that filled the 2-day void in my stomach. A godsend of a pit stop.

Food was good. Service? I wish I could put no stars. The girl who placed my food on the pickup table was rude. I looked at two cups that I thought were mine and she said “no. The order is not done yet. And no, those are not yours.” Her tone was beyond rude. I don’t know what her name was but she had two braids on the back of her head. I wish I caught her name. All I know is she was snooty.

Ava in the drive thru is so helpful and kind and efficient. Super star!

I have been to several panera bread locations, the service and management is the worst of any panera I have been and probably one of the worst restaurants as far as customer service go. I will never go back to the Waynesboro panera bread.

Food is always great, but I'm sad they got rid of my favorite salad and seem to keep changing the menu.

The kid in drive through at 11:08am was pretty rude. Ordered 2 sandwiched, was given plain chips, didn't know there was an option where I could have gotten an apple. He took our money gave us our bag, closed the window, no recite next time we'll stop at Starbucks

This location is super convenient right off the interstate. They built this one different than the others, so it goes well with the mountains. The staff was very friendly and I got my food in a timely manner.

Very disappointed that Panera has discontinued my favorite Cran Orange Muffin. 😞

Came in at around 4:10. We weren’t aware they closed at 4:00, obviously, so we place our order and sit down. After getting nasty looks from the young man practically sweeping under our table, our name gets called and they then tell us that they closed at 4 and we will be refunded. Sure, no problem. We didn’t know. But my thing is , why look at us nasty and stare at us ordering when you know that you’re closed? A simple heads up would’ve been fine. Whole experience was rude LOL will not be back

The restaurant is very cozy especially with the fire place going. The food was good but not excellent the pastry we had was pretty stale but the sandwich was tasty and fresh.

I would have to say that Panera seems more expensive now. But my experience here made it okay. I stopped here for some food and had a great experience. The staff here is very friendly and I enjoyed that. Cashier was very kind and it’s obvious that everybody here cares about their job and their guest. I was about to throw my food away when an employee insisted she would do that for me instead. Who does that? Nobody, you are lucky to have her. She went the extra mile and does it with a smile so I appreciate that and her and I hope y’all do too.

Kinda expensive, so we don't come here often.

I’ve been really impressed by the specials they’ve run (Sips club, $1 soup, etc) but what keeps me coming back is Ms. Carolyn! She walks around and offers smiles and hugs and makes sure you have everything you need. She’s so welcoming! Great job with the customer service!

Delicious food but price is very high for the small portions so I don't go there very often.

Looks like an old Perkins, but this is a Panera. The layout inside is a bit off, but the food was prompt and yummy. The staff was extremely courteous - not just to me, but I noticed them chatting with other customers, including several who were apparently regulars. Heck, I'd go back! The place was clean. Large, free parking lot that was easy to enter and exit. Grassy area to walk my dog. To go ordering was fast and mostly accurate (forgot to put a fork in the bag for a salad). This is a great stop if you live nearby or are moving through on the nearby Interstate. I recommend!

While this Panera may lay somewhat off the beaten path, they deliver some of the best Signature Panera treats money can buy this side of the Mason Dixon line. The standout of this location is the large amount of varied seating from tables to booths to more hidden booths deep with the back of the venue. You will definitely be able to find seating to serve your needs, whether it be for an intimate encounter, family pit stop, or solo trip before you escape to New Zealand. I am a big fan of their Smokehouse Cheddar Chicken sandwich served on a brown, buttered toasted bun. You'll likely be able to find something here that you like of you are a first timer. Enjoy!!

Excellent food, super fast take-out!

This location marks pick up orders as completed to improve their own metrics without actually having the food ready. It's quite inconvenient. Would recommend if you're putting in a pick up order for a group set the pick up time 15 to 30 minutes before your pick up time.

If you like your overpriced food served with a side of being treated with rude indifference, this is the Panera for you.

We had a wonderful breakfast there Sunday. It was special because one of our grandchildren was working there.

Meal was ok but is overpriced for what you get. Probably won't go back.

Love the food, grilled cheese was delicious, as well as the chili and squash soup. Creamy and well made. Hot Chai tea is ddelicious and well made. Polite, well mannered workers and definitely recommended!

I’ve gone twice to this Panera bread, both times they couldn’t give me the correct order on a simple pick 2. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Panera's is a welcome place for a meal while traveling. They have "duets", which a selection of two items that are $6.99, even though I have never seen it on the menu. I always get the tomato soup and Greek salad and it's always exactly right. This particular Panera's has the most efficient and friendly systems I have seen.

The Asiago sausage egg and cheese was wonderful 😋

Waynesboro Virginia Panera has watery broccoli and cheddar soup, brown lettuce the entire Greek salad, portions are ridiculously small for the amount of money you pay for there products this should not be happening!! I haven’t eaten here in years now I remember why!!!

It's still Panera food but they're all so darn polite. Great experience

Don't go there unless you want to break a tooth trying to bite into the bread on a sub 24.00 for 2 of those . Had to take my wife to subway after she tried to eat the Panera sub

World’s largest Panera (probably). Converted old restaurant. Bonus is that it has a drive thru. Quality wasn’t quite up to par with other Paneras.

I love Panera bread so much! I go here so the time and my experience eatch time I go is priceless! The guys is delicious, the staff are friendly and great, and the atmosphere is so quiet and peaceful!

Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is consistent - you can get a healthy meal at a reasonable price. Ordering line was staffed by one person and it was quite busy so there was a wait. Kitchent & lobby adequately staffed. Limited items ordered that's why it got a 4.

I’ve been stopping here to use up a gift card… now that it’s finished, I won’t be returning. This location is absurdly slow. Like, I’ve waited over 15 minutes for a sliced and not even toasted bagel when I was one of two customers in the store. Hard pass.

Update: The lady working in the restaurant, cleaning tables and stuff, is the BEST. Super friendly and helpful. A real delight to meet her. Staff is super friendly. I used the drive-thru. The wait wasn't bad at all. Everything I ordered was correct. Delicious toasted bagels with cream cheese!! There are new breakfast options on the menu. Come check it out!! Support local businesses

I love this Panera! They have always. Even so accommodating. Food is good. I have used the meeting room several times.

It was alright but I doubt if I'll return and it was a little spendy also.

Consistently great food and atmosphere, we had a community meeting in the room which was free to reserve.

Pizza was undercooked. Bagel was hard as a rock (without toasting) Out of 5 different items. Pizza tasted like lunch able. We had to clean off a booth just to eat. Literally spilled smoothie in a booth. Trash everywhere. We went in just before 8pm. So an hour before closing. I promise we will never do that again. That was awful all around. 40 bucks for hospital food.

The soup was not what I expected. It's said he has chicken but is not. It tastes like beans.

For a bakery this cafe is horrible at slicing bagels. I have yet to get a bagel here that is even remotely close to being sliced in half evenly. One time the top was just barely cut. Why even bother to offer slicing if this is what you are going to offer? Do better Panera.

I'm a new customer and this visit did not meet my expectations. I had a chicken sandwich and drink. My wife had a half sandwich with a small salad, chips, and drink. The food was good, but not excellent. (Panera is certainly not a leader in the chicken sandwich wars.) Very pricey for a small meal. It was over $37 for the two of us. What service? You order at one counter and pick up at another counter.

Bbq chicken salad and chicken was cold and watery. Warm chicken bowl and again chicken was cold and watery. Tell manager and he only apologized.

Q: Is $13+ for one "Signature Take Chicken Sandwich" worth it? A: It is not worth even close to that. Dry chicken breast, smaller than competitors, and not worth paying $8 more than the Popeye's Chicken Sandwich ($5.00), the Chik-fil-A original ($5.00) or most other restaurants that sell a chicken sandwich through a drive-through window.

Clean clean clean. Great staff. It’s oddly slightly pricy here and there aren’t the same deals as everywhere else But it’s all still great. This is the biggest location I’ve ever been in. They got crowded and opened up an entirely new room I’d never seen before with so much space. The staff are kind and quick to assist customers and bust /wipe any dirty tables left behind. This location has a kind hearted woman who encourages the older generations to let her clean the tables for them in attempts to ease their physical burdens while departing. Just really touched my heart. This location also allowed me use of their microwave. I am grateful. ❤️

Am I missing something? This is terrible, overpriced food with a confusing menu. We just paid $12 for a bowl with undercooked broccoli in it and teriyaki sauce that is salty as hell. Never again…

Went with a group of friends, and we all had a blast. We could sit together in the side dining room and pull tables together to make one big party. The food tastes excellent! It is made with pure ingredients as well. Some friends of mine who usually get sick from eating out, can eat at Panera. The one downside here is a long line to order that can move pretty slowly. This can be avoided by mobile ordering ahead if you go during a rush hour. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and tend to make it feel as though they are hosting you. It is a pleasant and wholesome place to eat.

The gentleman at the front was pleasant, inviting, and helpful. The restaurant has a wonderfully cozy and peaceful atmosphere. We almost didn't want to leave. It's probably one of the cleanest restaurants I've eaten at in quite a long time. Everything was fresh and delicious, despite coming in closer to closing time. Also, we never once felt rushed to leave, like we were a nuisance, due to it being almost closing time. Instead, we were left to enjoy ourselves and our meals. Thanks to all the staff for your hard work! Awesome job!!

The tea dispenser needs to be cleaned or replaced. I shared this with the assistant manager. I hope he takes my concern seriously. I didn’t want to drink from this.

Been to Panera once b4. This was good! I had the pepperoni sandwich and some masala soup. It was great! My wife had the buffalo chicken sandwich and some broccoli cheese soup. She enjoyed hers as well. Their green tea is stupid dumb good imo.

I am a regular customer at my local Panera, despite knowing that some of their "wholesome" food is not so wholesome. An example is their orange scones which I love. Read the list of ingredients. There are a lot of unfamiliar chemical type ingredients. However, the reason for this post is to complain about the change from paper to-go salad containers to plastic. THAT is definitely not wholesome. I would like for all Paneras to use only paper containers; NO PLASTIC! Humans are destroying the planet with our plastic trash. I have stopped going to this place due to the absolute chaos and poor management of food prep. I've seen way too many actions by staff that are not up to health codes.

Huge Freestanding Panera with a drive through. Clean with friendly employees. Great location, easy on/off highway. You can’t beat the sips club, especially when traveling.

The workers acted extremely confused. Genuinely sounds weird but it was like none of them had any idea of what they were doing when we ordered, when they gave us the food, and when we had to go back cause we weren't given utensils. Also the food was not good, which I'm not sure how they managed to get it wrong since from what I understand it's just a frozen bowl

Carolyn Swanson that works here is a legit angel! I worked on my computer and did breakfast then lunch here and she greeted all the regulars and brought them things left and right like it was a service restaurant! She legit make so many people's day bright by greeting them by name!!

One of the nicest Paneras I have been in. Very spacious and clean. The ladies working there are very helpful and friendly. The food was great!

My daughter, my grandkids and I love coming here because of Carolyn. Carolyn always greets us. She loves our children as if they were her own. She goes out of her way to acknowledge them and they love her. She is definitely the reason we keep going back. Panera is so lucky to have her working hard for them.

We love panera and food but they are terrible about giving you the entire order...you get home missing some food and it's not worth trip to go back...losing 6 to 8 dollars a visit is getting expensive, if I'd known I didn't have all my food I wouldn't have tipped.

What a fantastic location! Traveling through here headed to Richmond, we stopped and enjoyed the Panera experience as intended across their brand. Service was great, food was on par, and the tea was so fresh. This is probably one of the largest locations we've ever visited.

I was disappointed with my experience at this location. I ordered online and the food I got was a far cry from what I expected. My sandwich was haphazardly thrown together and the ingredients were all clumped together on one side of the sandwich. When I say this, I mean that I ate a few bites of only chicken and then got two bites of only onion. I got my son a kid's grilled cheese and the cheese was brown from being overcooked. Couldn't help but wonder how that even happens with a grilled cheese..? I will probably not be back to this location, but I still like Panera. Giving 2 stars because it was ready on time and on the shelf where it was supposed to be.

i'm local to the area and this place is always consistent with bad mac & cheese and bad food. the mac & cheese is always chunky and never smooth & creamy like all the other paneras. it's too expensive to not have good food. go anywhere but here.

First trip to this location and my coffee order was ready in less than 2 minutes. I couldn’t find any almond milk but two different employees asked me if I needed assistance within a minute. Definitely one of the best chain experiences I have ever had. Also, best iced coffee from a Panera.
