Randomly found this place when out with family. I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I've tried the Beef and the Pork plates. The pita was so good. The only thing that just wasn't working for me was the rice. With everything else being so good, the rice was a sad let down with no flavor.

Great food and atmosphere. Love all their food. Always fresh and hot. Plenty of room since the renovation. My opinion is this is probably the best Greek food in Tucson, maybe the state!

We stop in here for lunch occasionally. Always good service, great value, and good food. Clean and well run. The Greek Salad with Gyro meat is the best deal!

I really enjoy the food and service here. The specials make it easy to choose something but the menu has a wide selection as well. Would recommend this place for work lunch break or to meet family and friends.

The worst Greek gyros we've ever had. The meat looked like it was microwaved and super greasy beef jerky. No tomatoes on the gyros and the server was super rude. I've had better gyros at a craft fair in Mexico.

My absolute favorite gyro spot in Tucson. Always fresh, served quick, and super friendly staff. The meat portions are huge, the tzatziki sauce homemade, and the veggies crisp. Oh and don’t hesitate to border a baklava. Holy cow, theirs is soooo good. Flaky, buttery, and not overly sweet. No matter how full I am I can always have Atleast a few bites.

Only think that I wasn't happy with is the temperature in the restaurant. It's 106 outside and felt like they didn't turn the AC on, only the fans.

Love this spot. The food is always fresh and good. We love the saganaki cheese and the gyros. They are on our dinner rotation. They never disappoint.

Food is good, however is definitely more expensive than it used to be. Baklava was not my favorite.

Best Greek I've had in a long time. And affordable

I am not a Greek food expert. I have never visited Greece. But I used to live in Milwaukee where there is a plethora of Greek and many other ethnic restaurants. I have been told by many people that I am extremely picky about restaurants and this place is currently my favorite restaurant in the restaurant desert called Tucson Arizona.

I just love the gyros here. I drive from Casa Grande just to get a Gyro.

The gyro was WAY too onion but the fries were good! The bartender was very friendly and attentive. My problem was when the owner started yelling at construction workers and I think a delivery. So unprofessional, cursing and yelling in front of customers IS NOT respectful.

My order was wrong and the staff were so stuck-up. My chicken was pink and undercooked and the bathrooms were gross and had a roach in it. Any place with poor hygiene in the bathrooms likely has poor cleanliness kitchen too. This place looks nice at first but the more you see the worse it gets. Would not recommend.

Was the guys, never dealt with her, even came back at 10:50 asking if you can just take my money and I'll wait, they said they can't cause chicken isn't ready and to come back later. Never dealt with her, was everyone else.

Would not let me place an order because they are just opening, which is fine. They did however decide to take the next 5 customers who walked in, without any problem. Perhaps it’s discrimination, at least how I felt. They told me to go wait in the car and come back later to place an order but no one else was told that. Interesting stuff. A shame, I enjoyed eating here. Oh well, plenty of other options.

We’ve been twice in the last 6months. Once for dinner and once for lunch. Love this spot. Has great views of the Catalina’s, great views and the bar was an unexpected delight. We’ve had the gyro sandwich which will feed two people! Even the takeout versions was massive. Greek potatoes were yummy, pasta salad I’m currently eating for breakfast as I couldn’t finish yesterday and it’s even better after marinating overnight. Kids serving was perfect for my hungry 14yr. Definitely turning into a go to place. Oh yeah and balaclava and cinnamon pita are both delicious. The place is bigger than I expected.

We tried Pappoule's for the first time today and enjoyed this place so much. The food was delicious and fresh, reasonably priced, and prepared quickly, especially given how busy the restaurant was. 100% recommend.

We shared a Valentine's feast at Pappoule's. Wow! Let me start by saying, the atmosphere is very modern and nice. The customer service is great, very polite and friendly. We dined on the patio, which was very spacious. The food, we ordered the Gyro platter, which consists of a delicious Gyro alongside a huge Greek salad. The plate technically could have been split between the two of us, huge portions. It was phenomenal.Also the price for each plate was very reasonable. I highly recommend.

This is my favorite restaurant in Tucson. The staff are amazing. The menu selection is extensive. The vegetables are fresh and the meat is perfectly seasoned. If you are craving authentic Greek food you will be delighted. Service is fast, too. Check them out.

First time trying this place. Flavors are great, however, I noticed some pink in my chicken. When I cut open another piece it was super pink, almost raw looking. They seemed busy but I really hope they check meat temperatures. Willing to give another shot but disappointed.

I loved to eat here when I lived closer. Pappouiess has gotten a tiny lift a beautiful full service bar, bartender was thoughtful with my drink it was so tasty. The the food cooked almost perfect. I will be back soon

We each had gyros sandwich and were amazed at the generous portions of meat with toppings! Great food, service and atmosphere which is their recipe for success! Many happy customers return repeatedly so glad parking is no problem. 🙂👍

Always delicious but I really wish the had delivery. We would prefer to order from here more often than most places in the area.

Wonderful Greek food. Went for lunch and it was busy but not crowded. The food came out super quick, like less than 5 minutes, and was absolutely delicious. The pita was good and the meat had good flavor. They also have a little bar that's got a decent selection. Clean and modern atmosphere. Would make a great first Greek place or a perfect date night, especially with how close it is to the movies. Highly recommend.

Just like all the restaurants, they are getting really skimpy with the food for the price. I wish I would have opened my containers before I left. I ordered the chicken pita dinner. There were 3 bite size pieces of meat…and the rice was like a 1/4 cup if that. Now I know that is not even nutritional food serving sizes… the rest was a Romain salad mix with a pita. My husband ordered the gyros and was disappointed too. Normally he would have enough gyros for 2 sandwiches with all the meat and 2 pitas. Not now. We have been going there since 2017…He actually told me don’t go there anymore. So disappointing as good restaurants are hard to find. Too bad they cared more about the remodel than the food. It was way better before.prices went up about 50% and food amount went down about 50%. So disappointing. But I guess they have to pay for that remodel somehow…

The food and serving is excellent. It’s only the rice on the dinner plate… it wasn’t cooked well. It’s dry and hard.

So delicious. Their avgolemono soup is the best soup I’ve ever eaten.

There was hair in 2 separate orders and my salad had a bug in it. I showed the worker at the front, and they said that's typical and no matter how much they clean, there are always bugs like that. definitely won't be going back.

The management here judged me the second I walked through the door. Maybe it was because I was wearing a t shirt and basketball shorts. It seems like they thought less of me from the moment I walked in. They were rude, condescending, and their bathroom had dead roaches in it.

First time trying! I really loved the chicken pita and it's a huge portion! The dolmas were not bad, just more on the sweet side rather than super tangy. I do believe they contain meat in theirs as well. Ordered to-go and was out the door in 10 minutes. Great experience and I will be back!

What a great eating experience! Generous portions and yummy food. Super friendly staff. Nice to see so many patrons clearly regulars. Not fond of ordering at a counter and it's a bit noisy. We will be back and try more menu items.

A little pricey for a Famous Gyro, Gyro Deluxe, Two Drinks, and some fries, but the food is well worth it, in my opinion. Some of the best gyro's I've EVER had!

First time back since all the construction at Foothills Mall. Great, new improvements. Enjoyed dining on the patio. We enjoyed the Gyro Plate. Folks are very friendly. Food is excellent. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

The renovations are done; it's roomy and beautiful. Serving the same delicious food. The chicken souflaki is my favorite. Love the new look. The service top notch. For great Greek food, it can't be beat.

I have been coming here for years and ordering the same thing large Greek salad with chicken. Seems like you must have a new chicken supplier or maybe it’s just how you’re cooking it the last few times here it seems to be over cooked dry, tough chicken and this time the tomatoes were pretty green. Haven’t given up on you yet But a $16 salad needs to be spot on every time. Add a 3 dollar tip and a drink and tax it’s 24 bucks. Thanks.

This is hands down the best Greek food you will find in Tucson. I'm over on the east side and I wish it was closer. That's my only complaint. The service is excellent the food is fantastic, the feta cheese is the best I've tasted. I'm not sure but they must make it in house. Really recommend this place and I'm glad it has survived the construction work surrounding it.

The Gyro Dinner Plate and the lentil And Sausage soup were fantastic! Tasted great, came out hot and fast, and great happy customer service all around. The seating outside was a great addition and didn't decrease service expediency at all!

This is not your average fast food. It's at the level of any full service restaurant. With more reasonable prices. Which is why it's always busy. I had the steak platter the last time we were there. The steak, served in cubes, was tender and cooked as requested. My husband always has the chicken platter and is never disappointed. The salad is one of the best Greek salads I've had. I've tried many different dishes, have never been sorry. And, to top it off, this is the only place I've been able to get Galaktoboureko. If you know you know. If you don't, it's an amazing custard pie.

I love Pappoule's. They have great food, excellent salads 🥗. It's awesome! Their atmosphere is beautiful since the remodel! My only suggestion would be to add ramps for people who are handicap or have limited disabilities. They are necessary.

Order delivery and was not impressed with their platters. Hardly any onion, and no cumbers at all. The Tiziki sauce was not flavorful at all. The meat and pita was fresh and good, but overall I would go elsewhere if I had other options to try.

This is some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had. I enjoy coming here with my mom for lunch. Prices are good & food is always fresh. I’ve been to several other Greek restaurants in town, but none of them compare to Pappoule’s.

Good service. But, basically this is a fast food restaurant. The falafel “balls” (these were more like footballs) were nicely spiced but a little drier than they should have been, and their tahini tasted more like watery hummus than tahini — it lacked the toasted sesame flavor that is the hallmark of good tahini. Also, the soda offerings are minimal, and they offer Pepsi instead of Coke. Not bad. Not exceptional.

Has really gone down hill. Charge more give less dried out gyro meat. used to go a couple times a month. Well they have lost me and my family as customers.
