We ordered chicken biryani and it was not at all tasty it was horrible. I had to go to Jersey city for another restaurant because I didn't like it.

I recently visited paradise Biryani Pointe and enjoyed a satisfying meal. The biryani was aromatic and flavorful, with perfectly cooked rice and tender meat. The goat curry was rich and comforting, with just the right amount of spice. The tea and puri also super good. The service was friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience. I orderd a 2 order of allo gobhi but when I saw my order there lots of gravey in allo gobhi that is first time saw that vegetable with gravey. 👎

I was traveling back from Rhode Island and stopped at Paradise Biryani Pointe in CN to gorge on some biryani. Although I ended up going to the wrong location in West Haven (which was only a takeaway place, not the actual restaurant in Norwalk), the owners were so gracious and warm to accommodate me and my family, and let us dine there. I have to say, such amazing and authentic biryani!! The chicken 65, boneless chicken biryani, malabar fish fry and dal fry were all finger-licking good! Most importantly, we were touched and grateful for the hospitality we received by the owners despite the place not being a typical restaurant setup. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for its delectable food and fabulous staff!!

Food was good. Doesn't appear that they was equipped for large groups of people. Beer and wine are only selections available.

Customer service was horrible.I placed an order for pick they gave me 30m for order to be ready.when I got there there was no food and they didn’t have my order told me to wait 10 more minutes because of that I was late from work so disappointed

I visited this restaurant few times. Overall my experience was okay. But my recent experience made me share this review. We follow vegetarian diat. And ordered vegetarian food. But after waiting for more than 30 mins for it to be served, what we were served was non-veg food. We were thinking to leave immidiatly but as my kid was very hungry we decided to wait. The server said my order is ready but she accidentally brought wrong order to my table. So was thought to wait. But the wait was almost 15 more mins. They just replaced the curry and by the time it came the Nan was very cold and rubbery. Food quality: Not good. We ordered panner butter masala. The paneer pieces were tiny and hard to find. The Goby Manchurian was soggy. Service: they messed up our order. And service was very slow. Not going again here.

The worst customer service and very rude behaviour by the manager

I ordered Egg Biryani, I am very disappointed with it. Traditionally, in Egg Biryani shouldn't have Ridge gourd as part of vegetables. It was terrible. Secondly, after consuming the food, I had a very bad stomach upset. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Chicken Pakora is full of maida flour and red food coloring. More than 50% of the order is just burnt out flour. Reporting to Norwalk Health Dept.

This needs a better management.. food is below standard.. unbelievable that they don’t even heat the food properly before serving .. looks like cook only cook once a week and keep the food refrigerated. The only good part is it not rotten… definitely over priced.. and good help with the service . It is more like one man show ..

This is nowhere close to Paradise Biryani in Hyderabad. It’s just the name that’s same, also the biryani had no taste or flavor, it was just rice and mutton. The mutton and chicken were not fresh and had a bad smell. A v bad experience.

My husband really enjoyed this place and their customer service is very friendly.

I came on a craving i had for some spicy foods and from the moment i walked in the restaurant i felt i was not welcomed. I came in at about 2 pm and sat at a table where i was not even greeted or given a menu but only saw 2 workers standing and talking at the bar while i was seated. I saw they had a QR menu so when i proceeded to scan it a worker came to me and told me that they were closing soon and would prefer to me doing takeout. At this moment i just didnt feel welcome and decided to leave to a restaurant next door. First i was treated poorly by the staff the moment i came in as it seed i was not even there, and then proceeded to “kick me out” using the excuse the were closing soon and to order takeout. Never coming back to this restaurant again

I went with my friends today and food was amazing I totally felt like I'm having food in Hyderabad taste. All non veg food tastes delicious and I would like to go again and again here and if I want to refer a non veg restaurant first I will suggest this only. Thank you for the yummy food🙂🙂🙂🙂🙃

Good food. Gobi manchurian is an absolute treat to the tongue.

We ordered goat and chicken Biryani for a take out. We got home and opened the food to find just rice and chunks of chicken--no cilantro, mint , no onions and other masalas. We had the same biryani the night before at a friends place and had all the above. I called the place and the guy was so rude that he started making excuses and asked when did I order the biryani last time. He said that they only put garnish when you order fried rice which was a lie. So instead of accepting the mistake he started arguing and made excuses to cover it up. Not going their anymore , horrible food , horrible service, pictures of the food online are very deceptive, Paradise franchise should look into this and if you do order from there, double triple check the food.

We ordered takeout and it was delicious! We’ve tried a few other Indian places in the area and this has been the best so far. They have several levels of spice and they’re all accurate. Veggie options were great! The place was nicely decorated and very clean.

We ordered egg fried rice and jeera rice which were too oily and salty - not so great. Even the chicken biryani was not so great

Fried chicken biryani was horrible and smelled bad. Regular chicken biryani’s quality is also getting bad these last few years.Not sure how they’re still in business.

Hello, The food is ok ok but the service these people provide is worst. Many times they messed up with ToGo orders. They don’t have courtesy to apologize or provide refund. In place of veg we got non veg, our order was missing.. these kind of issues we have faced so far. We never got good service. Disappointing!!

Imagine a restaurant full of families celebrating Mother’s Day + newly grads celebrating graduation. Now picture all of that with one overwhelmed girl trying to wait on all the tables plus trying to accommodate new walks in. The manager clearly couldn’t care less he barely moved from behind the bar area. The kitchen staff was just as understaffed, they had 2 cooks trying to cook for a full restaurant! We waited for over 3 hours for our food. We finally got tired of waiting and left.

Terrible……The order was taken through phone and we booked a table but after reaching the restaurant the order was not processed and asked to wait for 20mins for table. The order was taken again after we had the table and this was worst experience and we received our food after 30mins … Terrible

04/15/2023 I ordered Chicken biryani at Paradise Biryani Pointe in Norwalk and after going home when i opened the box i see that they mixed white rice with small amount of Biryani and also there is no Biyani flavor. So disappointed and will not go again to this place. I request the restaurant owner not to do this cheap things to make money.

We ordered catering from Paradise Biryani Pointe for a birthday party and it was a huge hit. The food was ULTIMATE! Gobi Manchurian, Chicken 65 (chennai style), both Veg and Non-Veg Biriyani was awesome. Everyone in the party liked the food so much and was inquiring about the caterer. Thanks to Siva for tailoring the menu for our party by working with us closely. And, thanks to Madhu and Mano for executing it beyond the expectations. You guys are amazing!

Ordered Goat dum Biryani, Dum Murg, Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka takeout on Friday night. Terribly disappointed since nothing was fresh. Goat pieces were stale and rotten. Dum Murg had boiled eggs in it, seriously 😳. Chicken Tikka was simply pieces of dry chicken tossed in turmeric powder. Unbelievable that they expect customers to pay $20 per dish and serve stale/rotten food.

I think they need to close down this restaurant. They’re ruining the paradise name with pathetic biryanis.

Delicious but HOT. I ordered Veggie Biryani (mild) - the flavors here are outstanding, but it was overly hot. I can handle a decent amount of spice and this was uncomfortable from the first bite. Prices are very affordable and the quality is great, just proceed with caution on the Biryani spice level.

Food is alright. Spicy as it’s South Indian not a traditional Biryani spot. Interior and vibe is good. Just hyped up with the name and the fame.

Ordered Boneless Chicken Biryani. They gave Gobi Biryani. When I enquired about wrong order. Restaurant owner was rude and replied foul words. Disrespectful and mannerless people. Never visit again.

I traveled from New York to come to this great restaurant for their biriyani! This is by far one of the best biriyani I have ever had in USA! Even better is their customer service! The manager especially and rest of staff is very attentive to our needs, knowledgeable and very joyful atmosphere I must say! I will be a returning customer for many years!

I must say, I enjoyed every single bite of the Chicken 65, Chicken lollipop, Mutton roast/chukka and mutton biryani. Also, Malabar fish fry was out of this world , a must try!! Service was delightful and very professional. We can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for great Indian food!!

I will give 3 1/2 stars. Although we were only ones in the restaurant, it took awhile before food was come out; might indicate food made from scratch. Food was delicious, especially the nann was really good. Service was good. But when got home, felt quite thirsty, msg?

Biryani quantity is a joke. I tried three times to come this fact that they cannot make biryani. And yes I am comparing to other US restaurants not with India. Over priced and portion size very less.

The place was halal, nice and cozy, the atmosphere was good. The goat biryani was so good, it was just on point. Be ware of the chicken (boneless) biryani tho, it’s more like a Chinese tasting dish.

One of the best Biryani point in Norwalk. I had chicken sukha and gobi Manchurian they are really very good and awesome !! I loved it. I recommend this restaurant & enjoy the food.

Quality and taste went down considerably. If they don’t get their act together, they’ll end up losing a lot of customers. As of now, I can’t recommend this restaurant.

I tried there paneer biryani and it was good though the size has shrunk from my past order but it could be due to shrinkflation. Overall it was above average food.

I have catered for two events so far from Paradise Biryani in Norwalk, CT. Their quality and quantity is consistent. Suresh Thamuraj who is the owner, personally delivered the food on time both times and made sure the quantity was very generous and more than enough. He did go above and beyond and worked within my budge constraints and gave ideas for a good wholesome menu still. Will definitely recommend and will use them for future catering orders too. Just discuss spice level appropriately!

Update as of July 2022 - It's not as it was 4 years ago. I feel that the quality and customer service have gone down considerably. Staff were more or less grumpy.

This place used to be really good. Not anymore. Charging high prices but quantity also reduced ridiculously. Quality of food also horrible now. Ordered Veg Biryani, got white and saffron rice mix, no veggies at all in it. No rice given with entre curry ordered. Please turn AC on, it's 85+ Fahrenheit.

Because of the name we went to this hotel. We dint like any food except the mango lassie . Don't order the chicken biryani you will never feel the Paradise biryani taste. Chili chicken is too much oil.

I have been to many Indian restaurants from Stamford to New Haven and a few around Hartford, and I can say that this place is really good overall. It offers a lot of good food varieties. Some of my favorites here are: Biryani (chicken and lamb) Fried Rice (Veg) Goat curry and Chicken Curry. Chefs do a great job making the dishes as authentic as possible. The key is to ask how you want the dish prepared.

Had a great experience there, food was really good (we asked the server for recommendations and took his advice). A chicken dish with Hyderabadi spices, a dal of some sort, some Chicken Tikka Masala for the kids, etc. We all agreed that the food was great. Price felt reasonable for what we received. Restaurant was clean & tidy, service was prompt and courteous. I can say with a high degree of confidence, that I expect we’ll visit again!

Stay away from this place. This place is called Biryani point for some reason, but they can’t get biryani right. I mean, isn’t that what you should be famous for? Biryani was super mushy, and chicken was overbooked. I am not sure how they can run a business like this. We ordered Biryani and Tandoori and came to out about $50 including tips. That’s high price for the quality they offer.

Something was wrong with the casher/server. We called in to make an order for dine-in since we were 15 min away from the restaurant (total 1hr drive and we were starving)... he clearly denied our order (That's fine I understand...) Now, when we reached the restaurant we order biryani, here again "we don't have biryani" this was around 7 30 pm and after 10 min I saw him serving biryani to atleast 3 customers who just arrived. Now why would you do that! Lastly not really sure why would you take a 2 hrs break right during busy business hrs from 3 pm to 5 pm. Reason for 2 stars was because of the other food we ordered was alright ignoring the fact that the salt was high on one dish and no salt on other.

Good is great and most times delivery service is great as well, however, tonight was an awful exception. When I placed my order I was messaged that it would take 35-55 minutes for delivery. Then after an hour and a half wait I call the idiot driver William who had dropped it off at some undisclosed location. I will never order delivery again, restaurant takes no responsibility for lost orders.

Quality is not same anymore. I keep ordering here all the time and last few times, I noticed huge difference in their food quality. Yesterday we ordered Gongura chicken and the pieces were hard. Last week we got Chicken biryani, ran into bad stomach with sharp pain. They definitely need to work on the getting some fresh chicken

I ordered on Seamless and found that the quality and portion of the food has improved a lot compared to a few years ago. I liked the lamb korma so much that I came here to dine in today, and am happy to find consistent quality. Give this restaurant another try

Had a Biryani take out today.. Spicy rice with less meat... Its average.. One time thing.. Not gonna go again though..

Place isn't big but it has good taste ... but they did take a long time to make the food ... & seemed many things were made together to make it look like it's different dish by just adding rice to it or pita bread ... taste wasn't bad though... we asked for chai 5 times and got it after 15 mins ...

The food at paradise was outstanding. The chicken and goat biryani was very flavored and the rice was cooked well. The staff was very polite and helpful, especially Taksheel. Would definitely recommend Paradise to anyone that wants very good indian food!

Ordered for takeout. I eat biryani a few times a month and try all types. This spot is my new favorite. Although a little out of my way, the Hyderabadi-style goat biryani here is so good that I ate only the rice for a few minutes before even touching the meat. And the goat meat was so tender that it almost fell apart. Only complaint if at all is a full hard-boiled egg vs the half. Othewise, superb.

Best place for Indian food in Norwalk

Food was not bad, actually quite good. But the lack of customer service makes up for a bad experience. The order to serve time is not always consistent, many times they are pretty late by the time food is served. Other things to point out, is not all accompaniments are served along with a dish. We have to try to flag them down which takes several attempts because they don't pay attention to you and don't maintain eye contact. This past week we had to flag them down for water, sauces and rice, that is three times in one visit and there wasn't any care to take care of these things automatically. Basically there is a lack of understanding of what a customer wants

Great food with amazing flavor and taste. The price is also not too high, the only issue I have is the service. Usually, there are not many waiters (1 or 2) and they are not very attentive. They take too long to get back to you and they never come to check on you. Great food, good price, but terrible service. Would only recommend to my most patient friends.

Good taste. They have varieties of biriyani and all are good. Specially I liked the goat biriyani and chicken boneless very much. Staffs are friendly and good. Weekend buffet also nice with varieties of food with good taste.

We had an excellent Lamb Saag. The Chicken Biryani was good but beware that the chicken chunks had small bones. This may be authentic, but it required care. Portions were adequate but not huge. Service was extremely slow. It seemed that the server was occupied with the continuous stream of takeout orders. That's good if you want to spend an evening with friends, but not good if you expect a quick dinner. As with many Norwalk storefront restaurants, it was quite chilly, especially with the door opening frequently for the takeout. Perhaps wait for warmer weather.
