The food was very bland, very minimal flavor. One of the dishes we got tasted good, but all of the other dishes were bland. Beverages were perfect.

This is a one of a kind place in Sarasota. Very special wine selection and delicious french food. We have been coming here for years for a special evening out. The crepes are the best in Sarasota. Everything on the menu is outstanding. If you have little time sit at the small bar and enjoy a quick glass of wine and a crepes dessert

This is a very authentic feeling bistro with traditional bistro fare for lunch. I only gave the food 4 stars because I think they can add a bit more creativity to some of there dishes. They also might be able to expand their dinner menu a bit. You will certainly not be disappointed I just think they need to challenge themselves more.

LOVED the skirt steak special with red wine reduction and shallots. Luis is a fabulous server. This restaurant is one of the originals on Main Street and there is a reason it is still around. Delicious food !!

It is an acquaint place. The food is really good. I had breakfast food and my husband had lunch food. Both were really good. The orange juice and the coffee are good.

A very nice place with good atmosphere and service. It scores 3 on food as they serve what is in effect a vegetable quiche instead of vegetables with the entrée. I would prefer sautéed or steamed vegetables in season. Addionally it would be nice to have the option of mashed or roasted potatoes.

We eat at Paris Bistrot regularly and consider it a hidden gem in the Lakewood Ranch community. The food never disappoints and a great value. Wine list, especially the champagne selections, are exceptional.

We've been wanting to try here for a long time! We made reservations for 7:30 last night. We were greeted by a charming French man :) this made the night very sweet to hear a French accent. The atmosphere was lovely and not loud. We are vegetarian and so I knew before we went that our choice would be Quiche or risotto. We went for the risotto and it was outstanding! The fresh baguette that came with it was literally melt in your mouth bread! My only slightly negative was that the sangria didn't taste like sangria and tasted weak. We can't wait to go back for crepes! We were so full from dinner that we couldn't fit dessert in!

Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, and impeccable service! I've eaten here multiple times and everything is always tasty. Friday we dined with a large party and had a young girl serve us, she was phenomenal, wonderful recommendations for our friends that hadn't been there that were visiting from France. I'm always a sucker for French onion soup, several people in our party also enjoyed the fish soup. We enjoyed ordering off the chef's menu which allows you an appetizer and a dessert at at set price and many options. Save room for dessert!

One of our favorite places for breakfast and lunch because of the food and the ambience! We also love that it is owned by family from France! Athough service was a bit slow today, it gave us quality time to catch up with family from out of town. (I think they were short staffed - one server and one busser.) Am returning next week for lunch with a friend to celebrate her birthday! (It is season so be sure to get a reservation!)

Paris Bistrot offers genuinely authentic French cuisine, and we have enjoyed visiting several times already. It always feels very relaxed, the staff is very prompt and friendly, and we just love the food! This is fast becoming our favorite restaurant.

Delicious dinner and great ambiance. Very busy place and reservations are probably best. Service was very good despite being very busy and not heavily staffed. Went with friends and have a delicious meal. Everything we ordered, we loved. Escargot was perfectly cooked, foie gras was superb, as was the fish. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

The service for lunch was a bit slow but knowing you’re going to get an excellent meal it really doesn’t matter.

One of the best restaurants around here. The service is always exceptional, as is the food. The inside is charming, but we prefer sitting at one of the outdoor tables.

My wife and I had dinner last evening with an out of town couple and all had a fabulous experience. It was not our first dining experience at Paris Bistro; it finally dawned on me that this restaurant is one of the few LWR restaurants that “consistently” delivers great hospitality and food. Leo, the young waiter and exchange student from France was OUTSTANDING. He will be a loss when he returns to France in 2 weeks, but he states he will return during his next school break. Appetizers, entrees and desserts were delicious. And, the $15 wine corkage fee is a bargain by today’s standards. It’s great not to feel ripped off as is often the case today. J.C., we will be back soon. Kudos to you and the hardworking staff!

Paris Bistro is my favorite restaurant. The owners are dedicated to their clients to have the best experience possible. I have had most everything on the menu. My favorite entree is the sea scallops. My favorite appetizer is escargot. It's simply the best and I highly recommend it.

We usually go to The Paris Bistro for brunch on Sundays with my sister and brother in law. . It’s been a month as we were in NY for the holidays. Back today and it did not disappoint. The service was superb as was the food. We had a couple of mimosas, caught-up while we ate, and were not rushed. It was so relaxing and wonderful to be back at the Bistro on Sunday Morning. Thanks everyone at Paris for a fantastic time.

This is a great spot for local foodies. Have not had a bad meal in over 14 years of regular patronage, and my wife and I have more favorite dishes here than at other restaurants we frequent. Food is wonderful and servers are friendly. We come here for both brunch and dinner.

Sat at the bar. Great wine recommendations! Wonderful Pinot Noir. Hands down the best risotto I have ever eaten! This place is perfect.

The service we received was awful. Our soups and appetizer came out right away but our main dishes did not come out for at least 30 minutes later. After I noticed at least two other couples who were seated and placed their orders after us almost finished their meals, I asked one of our servers if our foods will be coming. I felt that our main dishes were not prepared until then, after we questioned about them. We honestly felt mistreated. The male waiter who took our orders and payment never came over to check on us or apologize for the delay on getting our foods. Every customer that walks into your restaurant pays equally and therefore should receives the same service. If you decide for whatever reasons not to treat your customers equally, please let them know and they will be happy to go somewhere else. Please be a decent human being and treat ALL people with respect.

Great food, interesting and knowledgeable staff. Only has beer and wine, but it is a good list.

A snug and cozy little bistro with excellent service. They pay attention to details here. Recommend the filet mignon with potato, quiche, with generous pepper cognac sauce on the plate. The french onion soup and crepe Suzette was excellent. Coffee was excellent. Service attentive. Prices reasonable.

A bit disappointed by the food. Doesn't taste like in France. I spent many years in Lyon and I couldn't find the same quality of freshness Service was just ok on a busy day

We are upset because we didn't learn about Paris Bistro sooner! Having traveled in France a few times we certainly missed this level of authenticity and quality. We have since found the Paris Bistro to be very consistent on a high level every time we have visited, about 5 times in the last 3 weeks! The truly casual elegance of the service and atmosphere is comforting. We will continue to visit regularly now.

Initially I was skeptical of the restaurant, French names for things i wasn't sure what they were. Reluctantly I ordered and the result was an incredible lunch, not over-fed, but just right. We have been back many times since and have never been disappointed. The French onion soup is the best we have found down here, the service is always prompt and professional, and the atmosphere is nice. Well worth the visit, and never disappointed.

We had high hopes but unfortunately we won’t be going back. Service was ok, but the food was really lacking. I ordered pork and it tasted like a cheap cut of meat. The shrimp we ordered were completely smothered in a sauce that wasn’t all that great.

It was a beautiful evening with the lowest temperature in days and we were seated perfectly to watch a beautiful sunset through the open portico across the street. Everything was perfect. The wine, meal (appetizers, entrees, and dessert) and, most especially, the service--which was second to none. Wyeth waited on us and made us feel welcome--almost like family! He was waiting on all of the outside tables but, somehow, was up to the task. He was there when we needed him and he left us alone when we wanted privacy. It was ideal. A wonderful restaurant in an unusual suburban setting with consistently good food and service. Highly recommended.

This one of our favorite restaurants! We have been eating there for 15 years and never had a bad meal. When we walk in we feel like family. Delicious food and wonderful service.

We had dinner at this wonderful restaurant. It is a shame that we passed this place many times on the way to a pub or other pedestrian spot in Lakewood Ranch. The menu was typical, classic French, with extremely modest pricing, especially post covid. Our onion soups were some of the best we had ever tasted. The intensity of flavor of the broth brought back memories of eating in France. Our main courses, both pork dishes, were delicious and came with potato Dauphinois and an absolutely different and delicious vegetable complement prepared similar to a quiche. We finished the meal with simple crepes which were delicious and not too rich. Our bill was similar to what we would pay in a pub or simple fish joint! If you appreciate fine food, lovely ambiance and excellent service, I highly recommend Paris Bistrot

I am visiting the area and came here for dinner with my relatives who are regulars. It had the same atmosphere as a restaurant in Paris, with staff who were just as friendly. I am not much of a meat eater but I ordered the Pork Parmesan upon recommendation and my god was it delicious. The food tasted just as good as Parisian food. I hardly finish full servings at restaurants and here I did. We also ordered a desert which was pretty good: something simple and sweet to satiate your palette. I don’t remember what it was called, but it is a crepe with ice cream inside. The owner even let me go back and see the griddle they used for crepes when we inquired. Overall great experience, and outs other dining experiences to shame. Eating out will never be the same after this!

There were 4 in our party and we were somewhat disappointed with our brunch experience. Cute restaurant but the tables are kind of small and very close together. Our 4 dishes did not come out all at once. One crepe breakfast was very bland. Side potatoes weren't very hot. Eggs Benedict was tasty. One of the egg sandwiches was supposed to be over easy and it came out way over done. We asked them to remake and you could see that the chef was ticked off through the pass through window to the kitchen. The restaurant wasn't that full but they seemed to be a bit overwhelmed. Service was mediocre. Prices are very reasonable though. I had high hopes for this find but was disappointed. Not sure I'll go back. 😞

Absolutely incredible. We had such an amazing lunch that I’m having trouble putting it into words. The food is beyond anything you can find in the area and the environment is very cozy and comforting. The service was top notch and I can recommend this place wholeheartedly. Thankful to have found this gem.
