Good food, service was fast, no complaints.

Avoid this diner at all costs. The food arrives cold and is disgusting. I never knew that eggs could taste that bad. The service is really bad. Take the extra drive to any other diner and thank me later.

Fabulous Jersey diner! We stopped for dinner on our way to a nearby funeral. The food was so good, burger was cooked well and cheese steak delicious.

Just looked at the menu and the prices are WILD. Havent been here in a few months and looking at prices, i wont be back again.

Nice looking place and staff was friendly although the waitress was inexperienced and couldn't tell us anything about the food. The problem was that the food was not very good, utterly lacking in finesse in taste and presentation. A plain Patty and cheap tasting bun with onion rings on the bun, iceberg lettuce, some so-so whiskey sauce on the side, limited condiments, no onions, pickles etc. I had the salad and woke up vomiting later that night. We would not go back, and in fact, it was so disappointing we swore off restaurants for the rest of our trip and stuck to deli takeout from Whole Foods.

Never consistent whether food or service. Some Servers are polished while others are not. One time the Server was covered in beads of sweat, and wasn't crazy about him handling our fiod.

Large portions and reasonable prices for grest American food. My party of 5 ordered 3 burgers, a cobb salad, and chicken panini. All were amazing. Will definitely return after another trip to the beach.

Food was great, I had the Asparagus omeltte. We'll prepared. Typical diner atmosphere but someone unkempt. Waitress was awesome, but it seemed short staffed.

Waiter wasn't the best. Food is always good. My son loves this diner! We were overcharged but the manager made up for it.

We ordered orange juice and the waiter brought us 2 glasses. When our check came each glass was $9 because it was freshly squeezed....... WTH? Absolutely ridiculous! The waiter should have told us about the regular OJ that was just a couple of bucks. Outside of that I think they are decent for a diner

I hate when places say they close at 11 PM but when you get there at 10:30 just for a sandwich, the doors are already locked. This is one place now I will never go back to

Food was amazing. Been going here for years and it's been great food the whole time. I love breakfast food though so other items I cannot speak of, except the matzah ball soup! Sooo good

While eating my pancakes I bit something wierd and I pulled it out of my mouth, it was a clump of several long black thick curly hairs. Owner was informed and would not comp our meal or even come to our table and apologize. Beware!!!!!! It is now evening time and I am so sick to my stomach it appears as if I may have food poisoning. I have painful stomach cramps, vomiting and non stop trips to the restroom! 😔 This was a bad experience. I DO NOT recommend this establishment.

Gorgeous, outdoor dining available. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Easy access to boating, fishing, beaches and boardwalk. Competitively priced with area establishments.

Service Excellent ... Clean, fast, Delicious! In addition to the Lox Benedict which comes with the Benedict on the side (good choice so you can put as much as you desire) was Awesome, my wife had Chocolate chip pancakes that were Perfect - All FOUR of them 😯 and her fruit cup was filled with fresh strawberries which she loved! Shoutout to Vinny ... Love his attitude! Friendly! And his Shell necklace is AWESOME :)

All around decent place. Food, service are good. Only real complaint is they charge a fee for all card transactions. Charging a fee for debit cards is against the law in NJ.

It’s your typical Jersey diner, good food, but nothing that stands out from the rest

Excellent food and service! We were there for breakfast, and both had a cheddar cheese and broccoli omelet. The omelet and accompanying home fries were quite good. I thought that the broccoli was cut a bit too large for inclusion in an omelet, but that's a matter of personal taste. The atmosphere was fine, but just like many other NJ diners. One interesting point is that there was one employee whose only job seemed to be roaming among the tables and refilling coffee. I have never seen that before, and though it was a great idea. I was a little surprised that there was a charge of what I estimated to be 3% of the total bill labeled something like "post-payment fee." The cashier confirmed that this fee was to cover what the credit card company charges the diner. I understand that the diner removes this fee at checkout if you pay cash. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit, but bring cash to avoid the credit card fee.

Delicious food & and terrific service. Their breakfasts are delicious. I also love their desserts. Terrific people working there, like Renee. Roman is such a hard worker. I love this restaurant.

I ordered the grilled chicken gyro "delux" from the online menu- There was controversy from the start since they weren't familiar with the item and thought it should be fries or salad. According to the online menu, it was the gyro sandwich and fries with a greek salad, the hostess said the online menu is outdated? So why not have removed or corrected? Greek salad came on the side, and a separate box with a limp and taste less grilled chicken tender between two soggy pita halves, the best thing about the "delux" were the fries. Not to mention they forgot the tzatziki. Totally disappointing experience all around. I gave one star for atmosphere because I didn't dine in.

If I could’ve gave a 0 I would’ve, he put semen all over my pancakes and I didn’t ask for an extra testosterone. Very angry that I just had to put nut in my mouth not happy, also guy had terrible hair cut and I couldn’t concentrate because he blinded me with his bald head

Chose to go here at random and were pleasantly surprised. The specials were listed on a board as soon as you walked in. We were seated quickly and our server was attentive and efficient. We had the appetizer special of stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat and it could have been an entree. So much crabmeat in the stuffing. My girlfriend had the stuffed filet of sole and had a lot of stuffing in them as well, fresh carrots, tater tots, and chicken noodle soup (homemade). I had the pork and figs which had sauteed spinach and fig chunks in marsala sauce over pork medallions. I chose the New England clam chowder which was also homemade. It had whole clams in it, that were cooked perfectly and had no grit in them. Everything was absolutely delicious. We will go back there again. Highly recommended.

We have been going to this diner for years. This week we went for lunch and had a very poor experience. 1. We ordered a cheeseburger deluxe medium. The burger was rare and the two slices of tomato were completely unripe. The chef and manager must know they are serving tomato’s that are not ripe (hard and all white and green inside), and there is no excuse for cooking a burger like warm and juicy red, when a medium was ordered. 2. We also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with American cheese. One bite and we said to each other, this is cheap processed cheese, not the real stuff you buy at a ShopRite deli. It tasted poor. We will not be going back any time soon. As it was my wife’s birthday we did not complain, just said, forget this place.

It's a diner! Expect diner food options, and you will be fully rewarded. Burgers, omelets, club sandwiches, etc. Food was great, service was great. I only took off a star for atmosphere because nearby patrons were quite loud, which is not really the establishment's fault but there's not a lot of room between seats. Overall, I will happily return when I'm looking for comfort food with my family.

What a gem, I can't say enough, my first time, just down going to a Special Olympics at tge bowling alley across the street. I gentleman that greeted us was so nice, then our waitress, she was a doll, I'm a tough customer, I wanted to know if they could leave my Salmon med rare, it came out perfect, very generous portion, my salad, was great, also a generous portion, my broccoli was done perfect. If I lived within 10 miles, they would see me a couple of times a week. Unfortunately I live in Maryland, Great diner, with terrific food, and very fair prices,, my salmon was $21 a steel

We come here almost every weekend for breakfast. Love the omletes! Never have to wait too long. Very friendly staff. That's why we keep going back!

Your usage of sacasm is very distasteful. Perhaps a bit of jealous is to blame. Since my post is only to let the hostess V know that I think she's extremely attractive. Nothing about the rest of the staff. People think she has an attitude , she doesn't. Perhaps she's tired of all the judgemental statements. Did you ever think it's normal for a man to be attracted to a gorgeous woman? Apparently not. It's human behavior. IDC as long as she knows who this is , and I'm sure she does. No need to respond.....

I always love a local diner! The french toast was really good! Very cinamony and sweet. The fresh squeezed orange juice was really yummy as well tasted so fresh

Very nice diner and I really enjoyed eating here. Our waitress was amazing and the food was all very good! I’d love to come back sometime soon and it’s one of the better diners I’ve been to in a while. Definitely check this place out.

Just moved to the Aberdeen area and decided to try this place out. Would not recommend. Steak was rough and eggs were nothing special.

I’ve never had an issue with this place until recently. When my coworkers and I ordered food from here a couple weeks ago, I went in to the store to pick it up. The person who rung me out gave me my receipt. I asked if I could please have an itemized receipt (so my coworkers and I could know how to split the bill) and he said “You should have asked me before. I can’t give you one.” I’m like ??? Never have I had an issue anywhere before with asking for an itemized receipt. He starts sighing at me. I said I would really like a copy of the receipt and he rips his copy of the itemized receipt off of his pile and throws it at me. I’m like, okay, great thanks. Sorry for being such an inconvenience. And he’s like “No no it’s fine” as if he didn’t just shove a receipt at me. So silly, I work in customer service and there is such a better way to handle that situation. I would have been fine taking a photo of the receipt. Anything was better than him shaking his head at me, sighing at me, and being incredibly rude overall. Not to mention the food my coworker ordered was so overpriced and honestly tasted so horrible that she ended up returning it. I will definitely not be going back here after such an overall poor experience. Don’t know what happened to this place, it used to be great.

I've been coming here since I was young and it's always been great. Whether it was after football games in high school or with my family, it's always been a great environment. The last time I visited the food was great and the service was incredible as always. They always make it feel like family in there and I love going!

Very typical NJ Diner. Many choices and all of them are delicious. Service is always good, busy place, so many men bussing, keeping the tables cleared off. Its a busy place, but fortunately our last few visits were mid afternoon on a Sunday, and each time we were seated immediately. Something for everyone on the menu.

You get whatever you’re looking for on this menu…served fast and always fresh ( haven’t run into frozen fare yet! ). Lunch specials are a bargain three course meal with soup/salad, entree and dessert…usually around $10-15. Liquor license is unusual and a beer, wine or drink always available. I think there may be new owners but service has held up and value is still there. Usually seated and served quickly ( not Sunday AM ).

As always delicious food and very generous portions. Only thing the challah bread french toast is a small portion. Waitress very friendly as usual.

The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I have also been there on several occasions with a special needs adult. They made him feel very comfortable. It is a very clean and they give you alot for your money. I always have plenty to take home. Try this place out I guarantee you will not be disappointed and will be back time and time again. So disappointed. Ownership must have changed recently and this place went downhill fast! We've been loyal customers for at least 5 years, coming in with the kids almost every weekend. The service was great, the food was good and quite affordable. Not the case anymore. The servers all look miserable, the food went down in variety and quality and the pricing seems to have almost doubled. Not sure I'll be back anymore...

Since the new owners took over, this diner, which I have been going to for over 30 years, has gone down. The menu choices are less, the food is not as good. And where Park Place was reasonable, now it is the most expensive diner I have been to in a long time.

Love to eat breakfast here on the weekends. Service is always great no matter who your server is.

I went in to order to go and I asked if they had chicken soup. The guy helping me (maybe new) walked back to ask and the manager came out rudely pointing at the soup menu they have behind the register. Not for nothing in front of a customer was rude and unprofessional. Poor kid should find a new job if that’s how they treat the new hires.

We drove to Matawan from Brooklyn to meet my daughter and grandkids for breakfast and decided to meet at Park Place Diner and the place was great, delicious breakfast, good coffee and good waitress. What more can you want at breakfast. 👍👍👍

This is a regular for us. Service is always excellent, people are very friendly. Food is always good and on the rare occasion it's not, they always make it right. Business is 100%

Normal good quality dinner! Don't expect to be blown away. The waiter was nice! Atmosphere is ok. Food is a normal dinner food, nothing special. I don't even know how to rate something like that!

Park place is a staple diner for NJ, with a menu offering anything you could desire at anytime you want it this is a good stop. Park places pricing is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food as well. This place is certainly worth the visit.

Great local spot! Everything you want from a diner - huge menu, good food, welcoming staff, fast service. I always get an omelet and homefries as the litmus test for a good diner and Park Place knocked it out of the park. Perfect for breakfast or a quick, late night bite. 5/5.

We have been here before for breakfast and it was great. Went for dinner because we saw all the great selections they had. I ordered the meat loaf and it was very dry and the mashed potatoes were instant. Next time I'll try something else.

Yesterday evening we celebrated my brother’s birthday. We were a party of 9 coming from a local community church in Aberdeen. The host Patrick was super accommodating in helping us with our plans with a birthday cake after dinner. The waiter Rocky was also super friendly, accurate and fast. We were made to feel at home and everyone said the food was great … and we all ordered different things … from pancakes to barbecue ribs. This is an awesome diner with great food, wonderful service and professional hosting! It’s a 10 out of 10 for the Park Place Diner in Aberdeen!

Two women standing in the front were not welcoming and gave me a dirty look as I walked in. Sat at a table where I wasn’t greeted and then left without anyone even saying hello to me. I guess go here if you want to feel like you’re not welcome and want to wait forever for a meal.

Really good specials menu here (main, soup, salad, dessert, vegetable, and potatoes...whoa!) Service was good, and it's a typical diner. It's a real bummer that Fox News was on every TV. Definitely impacts the vibe, especially on a holiday.
