Visited a new West Miami neighborhood restaurant tonight and was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere and very tasteful decor. Service was excellent with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The chef was quite helpful except the menu. We had the short ribs with malanga and ‘not your every day’ arroz con pollo. Starter was goat cheese filled dates wrapped in bacon (mmm). Too full for dessert- maybe next time. Highly recommend

Vivo Miami, located in the heart of the city, El flavor Latino is an authentic refuge for lovers of Latin cuisine. From the moment you cross the door you are greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the menu is a celebration of flavors, with typical dishes from different countries. As a main dish, “Arroz con pollo” took the top prize. The customer service was exceptional, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes, thanks to Miss Viviana and Mr. Alfredo for their attention. .Without a doubt it is a place worth visiting.

I don’t know who my waitress was but I absolutely loved her! She was so nice and let me take pictures of the place (which by the way is absolutely stunning) I ordered pizza and it was not the best of my ENTIRE life but it was definitely delicious , we ate the whole thing , so definitely 5 stars.

An excellent option in the west Miami area for a casual dinner The decor and am since is beautiful, to immerse in a relaxed atmosphere, my only “but” that night I found the volume on ambiance music a little louder. We found out the place was reopened 2 weeks ago under VIVO name and new menu Staff is working on update the menu an photos We indulged literally with the tropical hummus HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I choose As my main dish the pork tenderloin because the pictures Alberto our server showed us literally sold me into and was greatly impressed with the tenderness and flavor not to forget the detailed presentation, I felt In a 5 stars Michelin restaurant. The desert was superb guava infused cuatro leches And espresso was delicately served in a lovely earth tone cups So many more items on the menu to try I was recommended by Alberto to try the filet mignon and the yellow tail dishes On my list for a soon next time

We just had an excellent lunch with my wife and parents at Vivo! You have to try it! We have traveled the world and we’re not easily impressed. But we were impressed today with their fillet, Caesar salad, and dessert. It is amazing! You have to go!

Excellent food, a 100% recommended place, and above all the attention of Miss Vivi, very friendly and professional.

The pleasant, very calm atmosphere to enjoy with the family, the food was super incredible, the chicken with polenta was highly recommended. Thanks to the very pleasant attention of Vivi, Chef Juan in each dish and his excellent explanation!!! And also the manager Sergio for making sure everything was perfect. Excellent staff, highly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous food. A culinary experience for everyone. We loved the cauliflower with pistachios in crema sauce appetizer. Generous pour on our Malbec wine and so full bodied. House salad was huge and delicious wit buttery greens, radishes, carrots and cucumbers in lemon vinaigrette. My personal favorite was the plantains, cooked to perfection! As good as any dessert. The 1/2 chicken dish with black ciopinni onions was generous and paired with the creamiest polenta we've ever had. Just so yummy. Our server Veve was delightful, informative and attentive to our every need. Excellent service, romantic atmosphere and extraordinary flavors in well prepared dishes. Definitely, we will be back soon. Highly recommend!

Excellent place for a romantic dinner, the atmosphere is super cozy. The salmon is a delight. And the 🍷 Amurado with the ceviche, I recommend it. And everything has the taste of homemade. And Sergio is super attentive.

Amazing quality food for a very reasonable price. The only con is that it's in the middle of nowhere, but the price to quality ratio is so good it's worth the trip out here. Just do it!

I'm typically quite selective about where I dine, as my palate is rather particular, but my recent experience at this restaurant was nothing short of remarkable. The chef exuded a warm, welcoming charm, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. As for the meal, the steak I ordered was an epicurean delight - undoubtedly one of the juiciest and most flavorful I've ever savored. This establishment has earned my wholehearted recommendation. Should my travels bring me back to this area, a return visit is not just an option, but a certainty.

The best food I ever had in my life, incomparable to any other restaurants! The Chef greeted us and explained the menu. The quality and presentation of the food was second to none! Highly recommended if you are in Miami or on the way to Everglade, definitely worth the drive.

My only observation is that apparently it is a decent place and I observed how they exploit their employees doing jobs that are not their responsibility, they had their staff outside working on gardening work as if they were still in Cuba. The owner is a cheapskate.

We had dinner at Pasion Restaurant for our first time Friday. Once inside, the restaurant was attractive, inviting and quiet. I ordered the octopus starter which was large enough to share. It was tasty and quite tender. The other couple shared a burrata salad which they raved about. For the main course, I had the black paella which was delicious. My wife enjoyed her branzino immensely. Portions were fairly large but I had room for desert—the Fondant de Chocolate--which was extremely good and visually dramatic. Our companions shared a cuatro leches which they praised. Our server- Jenny- was professional and knew the menu well. Prices were reasonable and the wine list was limited but good. This place is a gem and we hope it does well.

What a great find! Got together with a group of fiends and were looking for a place to dine and chat. Went to the wine place across the street but it was very loud and decided to cross the street and try Pasión restaurant. What a wonderful place! The service was top notch and the food excellent. We had various dishes and desserts and everything was awesome: The unique thing is that they are part of the culinary school across the street and the students have the opportunity to participate in the kitchen with the chefs. Really liked this place! Go try it.

My partner and I were in Miami for a night before flying out and decided to give this place a shot based on the other awesome reviews. And I have to say, they're spot on. You'd be hard pressed to find a restaurant with better food, service, or prices. Everything we ate had unique ingredients/flavors and was absolutely delicious. Our server Rene was delightful as well and talked with us for a while about the culinary training program they do there, which is so cool. A really excellent place for a nice dinner!

I recommend this restaurant with my eyes closed... Every time I come to Pasion, I leave this place more passionate... There is always something new on the menu, Excellent service from its staff, 100% attentive. Its embracing atmosphere makes you not want to leave this place. Its desserts...uf!!!!...😍 When I found out that the cooks are graduates from Florida Education Institute...I immediately googled the school, I wanted to learn about Culinary Art.👩‍🍳

Beautiful little spot ! The food is absolutely delicious, the service is exceptional and the deserts are just amazing ! I took my family last weekend and we had a great experience. We didn’t expect the area to have such classy and high end food restaurants , we were definitely pleased . I recommend it 100%

I had the grouper with almonds and asparagus, what I dish! I was delighted with our server , she took amazing care of us. I definitely will be coming back with my family next week, I wanted to order the desert but I was so full I didn’t get the chance . I recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience an intimate restaurant with amazing food.

Good food. And done pretty quickly. Wine by the glass a very expensive at $14 a glass. Also desert was tiny, not enough to order 1 for a group. Over very expensive $$$ Otherwise they appear to take great care to prepare a very good plate. 👍 Rene the server was absolutely excellent!

I'm left speechless as to why this place isn't packed and crazy booked all the time. One of the few times in my life where I can say that this place meets every check mark. Beyond my expectations. 5 star service. 5 star food. 5 star quality. These are culinary student chefs from the school near by along with a professional chef who prepare these dishes and recipes. Once this place gets discovered they are going to need a bigger place. Brunch was fantastic. The French toast and the eggs Benedict are perfection. The lobster linguini is crazy good and the Salmon tartar is nothing short of amazing. I will be visiting again very soon. I would rather spend my money here and get REAL 5 star service and food instead of placing Russian roulette with other places.

Pasions is a like a restaurant speakeasy in Calle Ocho! We were suprísely impressed with the place. It was small (30 tables including outside) tables were adorned with white table cloth. The minute we opened the door Rene was very welcoming and attentive to our needs and educated us on their menu and the birth of the restaurant. The dishes were well curated with great presentation and the taste was great. We recommend the Paella, the tuna tartar and of course the croquetas de bacalau! Desert was very good as well. Give them an opportunity to dazzle your palette!

Just amazing food at an incredible price. We had a couple of different dishes from the menu and they were all amazing. This picture is of the avocado toast. So if you are looking for a spot for lunch, dinner or an delicious brunch, this is a spot you have to try out! 💪🏽 Congrats to the entire team, what a great add to my list of favorite restaurants
