Great place for yummy gorgeous pastries!

All of the staff have been extremely kind and patient, and the food has always been amazing. The chef will regularly put out new items every once in a while so it's always worth coming back. There's classic pastries and more unique ones, so it's easy to find something you like.

This place is great. They bake fresh everyday. Delicious pastries. They will do custom cakes too.

This place is beautiful! Get there early before they start to sell out! Great variety for such a small store! Editing to add that I got a sourdough loaf here today and it is delicious! Such a great value too!

This is the best bakery I have ever been to. We tried 6+ pastries and all of them were out of this world. Can't wait to go back !

When planning our wedding, we knew we didn’t want a wedding cake. Instead, we opted for two croquembouches (creampuff tower bound by spun caramel). We had one with chocolate filling and the other with vanilla. Finding a bakery that could make one proved to be an arduous task. We called many bakeries before we found Patisserie on Main. While it wasn’t advertised, they said that they’d love to make it for us. Olivia was so helpful with planning and communicating with us. On the day of the wedding, my brother brought both croquembouche to the venue without incident. The looked beautiful on our dessert table and tasted delicious. Our guests loved having them as an alternative to a wedding cake. Our coordinator made sure to save a few of each flavor for us as the rest were happily consumed that evening. Later that weekend, we had the chance to visit the shop and thank the chef directly. We happily tried more of their pastries while we were there and savored each one. We highly recommend Patisserie on Main and found it to be the most delicious bakery we have ever been to yet.

We stopped on Thursday evening on the way to GA from AL “by Chance” and then after having a good selection of the delicacies offered….we came back on Sunday on our way back home! It will Be a for sure stop when we roadtrip again! Everything we had to eat was delicious!

Absolutely Delicious and Fresh!

Beautiful bakery. Its delicious smell reminded me of the authentic bakeries in California that you could smell down the street. The young lady that helped us was so helpful and friendly. She never rushed us while we attentively and slowly looked at all their delicious treats. Everything we purchased that day was fantastic. We will return as a family to get more of these outstanding, mouthwatering, flavorful baked goods.

Finally tried the sourdough (which is made daily, in-house). It was fantastic.

The pastries are nothing short of incredible. We came into town for a week and have ended up getting pastries 4 times. They're absolutely delightful. The croissants and danishes are so fluffy, flaky and buttery. The Fontaines have an incredible flakiness and the perfectly sweetened cream. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I wish I could take this business with me when I go home.

Since moving down from NY 9 years I always complain about "doughy" bread with no crust. I no longer do. The crust on their breads is about the best I have ever eaten. Boy, am I glad I moved to Madison.

Quiet, delicious, beautiful. The closest place to a French bakery since I have been to France. They have REAL croissants and their tarts are phenomenal. A must try!

I'm pretty sure this place is actually heaven. Everything I've tasted has been fresh and absolutely delicious (and trust me, I've tasted quite a few). It's always worth a stop in to get one or multiple of their amazing and beautiful treats. Our favorites are the croissants (plain or with ham & swiss), the cinnamon rolls and the cherry pistachio danish, oh and I cannot forget the strawberry fontaine.

OMG this was the best place I have eaten at, I saw the strawberry tarts and I knew I had to get it and it tasted like heaven! I wanted everything in there, like the chocolate tart, or the baguette! Definitely coming back!

Oh! My! Gosh! Delicious! We drive an hour just to get pastries here! Treated my kid on the way to camp and now we have to stop every time. Be aware there is no place to sit.

The Eclair is the 10/10, I’ve never tried a Pastry like this before, note is not as sweet which make it very special 🤩 The key lime tart was great as well.

The 2 pastries I purchased in my opinion they were delicious. Not too sweet. It's a little pricey but well worth it.

My Granddaughter and I stopped in while in town, Best Chocolate Eclair ever great choux dough, perfect amount of filling and delcious icing. We each also got a loaf of the whole wheat bread. Lovely customer service. Thank you

Our friends from France couldn’t believe the quality, taste and variety we found here in Madison close to Lake Oconee. Quote: “the best tarts I ever had anywhere in the United States, even competing or better than some I had in Paris”. There you have it.

I went here yesterday for school and it smelled so good I wanted one so bad

I like fruit tarts. I try to have a fruit tart in as many places as sell fruit tarts. I have eaten many, many fruit tarts in many countries in my life. This was the absolute best fruit tart I have ever eaten hands down. It wasn't the cheapest tart I've ever eaten but it was absolutely worth the price and I would pay even more for one that tastes as good as the one I had did.

It is so rare to find a patisserie this beautiful and delicious in the States. Going here and trying some yummy pastries was like being back in Europe! I just wish they had coffee and some tables so I could sit and dive into my pastry immediately!

DO NOT PASS THIS BY!!!! Patisserie on Main has thee best tarts I’ve ever had in my life! This was the highlight of our stay! Everything is freshly baked with the most beautiful fruits added, the cashier I had today was an absolute pleasure to speak with, it’s clean and bright! We got 8 types of tarts, and every single one was a dream! Seriously don’t miss this place!!

This place is amazing. My wife and I made the mistake of coming in hungry. We bought almost one of every tart, and boy howdy, was it worth it. French pastries have such a perfect sweet and savory blend, and the baker has perfected it. It's definitely worth the drive!

Just tried the Patisserie and it took me back to my favorite city-outside of Madison-Paris. Loved the Almond and Pear Torte and the bread was perfect!

Beautiful place, with delicious pastries. We got a ham and cheese croissant and it was the freshest croissant I've had (she told me it had just come of the oven). We also got a strawberry Danish and a blueberry tart, all fresh and delicious. They had some other gorgeous looking pastries, more breakfast items, and baguettes,along with sourdough and brioche loafs. Will be back!
