Enjoyed my brunch after running errands. Wanted to stop by for a while and finally had a chance to. It was amazing so much so I wasn’t able to take any photos! Thank you Jeremiah for the amazing food and service you give!

Truly a hidden gem in San Antonio! I pass by this place on my way to work all the time and finally got the time to stop by. Oh my goodness it was like I teleported back at my grandma's house as a kid again! The different varieties of Pb&J sandwiches you could get amazed me. The banana pudding was no joke AMAZING dare I say better than my grandma's!The owner was lovely and so kind as well! 10/10 will DEFINITELY be coming back again!

What an amazing experience! Jeremiah is a great dude, awesome customer service. Makes u feel right at home! The sandwiches take you back to your childhood and are made with so much love! Love this freakin place!!!!! 😍

I've been waiting for a while to eat here since seeing it on TikTok and it was definitely worth the wait. The gentleman who was working welcomed us warmly. Very cute spot, with a lot of personality, it was like taking a step back in time. I loved that they had almond milk as a drink option to pair with my sandwich, the Egg-Cellent. The banana pudding was absolutely delicious and refreshing. I look forward to eating here again. :)

We placed a catering order from our friend Jeremiah for 60 servings of the best PB&J. We served these at my daughters first birthday party and each guest was amazed. This is such a unique spot for some awesome PB&J style-sandwiches and worth every penny. The environment is so welcoming and in such a neat area. From the friendly service to the quality ingredients, it’s definitely a hidden gem of the city and perfect for an afternoon meal when you’re craving something sweet and comforting.

Ok, of the hundreds of reviews that I've done, I've only classified 4 restaurants as hidden gems and only one in San Antonio. I'm definitely adding this place to that list. My daughter found this place on Instagram and bugged us about going for 2 weeks. Finally, Wednesday we stopped by right before they closed. I'm not going to lie, i wasn't too excited about a PB&J place but wanted to keep my daughter happy. Well, I'm happy she convinced us to go. There were so many choices. I ended up getting strawberry/jalapeno jelly, bacon, cream cheese, and peanut butter (on toasted bread). I had never eaten anything even close to this crazy concoction but i was there so i figured, what the heck.. In short, it was dang good! My wife got the PB, strawberry, cream cheese with banana slices and my daughter got the PB, nutella and grape jelly. I'm happy to report, we all loved the sandwiches. The atmosphere is like you grandmother's old pier and beam house with similar decor; very homey. To top it off, i asked the owner about his place, how he came up with the idea, ect. He was very excited to explain the story, how he prayed about it, etc. He advised that he had two jobs, his PBJ place and a massage place after he finished work there. He emphasized how he worked long hours but stressed his concern and desire to manage his time effectively to spend the most time he could with his kids. You could hear the love in his voice about his family, his love of God and to say he was friendly to his customers is an understatement. I didn't say much but i knew exactly what my wife and daughter were going say as soon as we left and i nailed it. As soon as they walked out, both the wife and daughter said, "that was the nicest guy...i really like this place, you better give him a good review!" So... Here i am lol. Honestly, this place was getting a great review without their input. I'm fact, I'm adding this place to the hidden 💎 (gem) list, one of only two in San Antonio, Comfort Cafe being the other. This place is clean, great atmosphere, has a great selection of sammiches, the owner is a God loving Christian man who loves his family and treats his customers like they're family. This place checks every box to qualify as a hidden gem. My family and i cannot recommend this place highly enough.. We pray for his continued success! Oh, almost forgot, my wife also got the banana pudding and says it was the best she'd ever eaten.

Visited after seeing a review on the SA food FB page - our crazy foodie group of 4 definitely had to try the only PBJ shop in San Antonio! Choosing an assortment, we sampled the Elvis w strawberry jalapeño, Hawaiian, Elvis w strawberry, and the KJB- They were all amazing on fresh grilled white bread. Smooth, creamy, with a burst of flavors that you didn’t expect to taste so perfect together. As much as I love marshmallow fluff, the KJB came in second to the strawberry jalapeño warm kick on the Elvis! We definitely didn’t save room for dessert but still had to try the award winning banana pudding- and OMG it was devine! From the personable friendly owner and his family, to the warmth and comforting dining room that feels like you are at grandmas and she just made you the best PB&J ever…. Everything was perfect! We will be back to taste more creations and see if any can beat that Elvis! We should have taken more photos, but got distracted eating!! Hhmmmm….. Menu suggestion -A sampler platter so we can try an even bigger assortment! Lol!!

You might wonder "do I really need artisanal PB&J in my life"... the answer is yes, yes you do. The customer service here was the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time, and it was well worth the drive. Will be recommending to coworkers and friends in the future.

We took a trip to SA and this was one of the places I was dying to visit because of my love for pb&j sandwiches. Staff was welcoming and very friendly. We ate inside I must say, the whole environment was comfy and cozy. Everything about this place was AMAZING. I had the Elvis sandwich and the banana pudding, it was DELICIOUS! This place is making me wish I lived in SA.

I love small privately owned venues. This sandwich shop is wonderful. Nothing pretentious about it. They have a wide variety of PB&J sandwiches, some you never would have thought about. Drove by on a Sunday and decided i would stop in after seeing the sign 100x’s since moving back to town. I ordered the Tay sandwich with strawberry jelly and it was AMAZING! super light on the cream cheese and peanut butter. All the flavors together made the sandwich, great shop and great idea!

This place is definitely a hidden gem!!! I had the Elvis and my son had the Rocky Road. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!!!! The banana pudding was so gooooood; highly recommended if you like banana pudding.

The sandwiches from this place are delicious. I was able to add additional things to my sandwich without any issues. The owner was very friendly and made some good suggestions. There are two setting sections which aren't very large but the decor has a lot of interesting things to look at. So overall a very pleasant visit.

My husband and I saw PB&J with Tay on the Texas Bucket List and we made it our mission to make it was on our stop in San Antonio. I had The Elvis and my husband had Make My Tay they were delicious and very filling. The atmosphere was very homey and the owner was very nice and friendly.

Picture this. You’re walking up the stairs to the restaurant. Once you enter you’re welcomed with a smile and “come on in room” vibe. You get walked through the menu of a variety of options and ways to make your own version of a classic. Then bam. You walk into grandma’s house and feel home. Then you look up and see that it’s a southern farm house. The eclectic style works so well here! Now sandwiches. Who would have ever thought to add bacon to a PB&J? They did. That added salty crunch pairs really well with the sweetness of the jams there. If you’re feeling spicy. Well throw in their homemade strawberry jalapeno jam. Added a nice subtle kick to it. If I had to summarize how this place made me feel: Nostalgia meets simple yet refined PB&Js. Highly recommend the Texan!

I can’t say enough about this special spot. We saw PB&J with Tay on The Texas Bucket List and made sure to stop by when we were in San Antonio. I brought my family of 8, and within five minutes after ordering, we all had our food. The selection of unique PB&J combos was amazing! We each ordered a different version to try. The standouts were The Double Decker, The Elvis, and The Rocky Road. It was a perfect twist on a nostalgic favorite. The bread was soft and fluffy, but perfectly toasted. The different jams and jellies alongside peanut butter and toppings like bacon and banana were delightful! The owner, Jeremiah, is incredibly warm and friendly, and made sure everyone got the full rundown of the menu and all the combinations we could try. We will be back for sure! In fact, we ate so fast that we didn’t even get a picture of the food, but grabbed a picture of Jeremiah and the famous Tay!

Takeout: sandwich was ok . Any other Bacon lovers like myself seeing Bacon multiple times on the menu be aware: what you get is cold Bacon bits on your sandwich. Side chips are a child-sized handful in a plastic baggie. Banana pudding was pointed out, "won 1st prize in a contest" so, have to try that! Didn't see a price but if you have to ask.... Elvis sandwich + banana pudding + no drink = $21.50

This place definitely earns the five stars. As soon as I walked in Jeremiah greeted me like I was an old friend who’d been there a thousand times. Since it was my first time there he gave me a break down of the menu and had my order ready for me as soon as I was done paying. The atmosphere is great as it reminds me of my time as a kid, playing outside all day over the summer, and coming inside for a PB&J and a glass of milk. I had the Make My Tay and it was incredible, definitely worth the money. The food, the hospitality, and the atmosphere make this place what it is, the true definition of a family-run, small business.

Brought my family here after seeing a post on Instagram. The things you could never imagine making with a PB&J, this place does it and makes it taste delicious & excellent. Everyone liked and loved their choice of sandwich, along with the atmosphere the environment setting. The pricing is ideal for the food being prepared in front of you, in a quick and warm plate fashion. The books and games kept the kids busy in the grape jelly room after their meal, allowing time for the adults to sit and enjoy conversation. There was additional seating in a separate room for smaller groups of people. Ah, as the sign says outside, the restaurant is on the second floor. This is an original concept that I hope catches on in and around San Antonio.

Me and my little sister stopped by for lunch.... Amazing pb&js, the Elvis and the Pooh bear and the banana pudding,the vibe was awesome.... Stopped by on a Saturday for a to-go order to have lunch at a nearby park. There's a small grass parking lot on one side and a larger shared parking lot on the other side. Restaurant is located upstairs on the 2nd floor. Was immediately greeted as they did with everyone who walked through the door. They explain the menu above the counter with their signature sandwiches or made your own way from the list of ingredients. Ordered the Pooh Bear signature sandwich and a custom sandwich with peanut butter, peach jalapeno jello, cream cheese, and walnuts. Also grabbed a banana pudding from the mini fridge. Both sandwiches were ready in a few minutes. Each was placed in a brown bag to go. Both sandwiches were very thick and generously full of peanut butter and the other ingredients. As simple as it sounds, the peanut butter and jelly was very good with the other ingredients. I'll definitely come back to try more sandwiches and my own custom one as well.

Really big sandwiches on Texas toast, lightly fried with tons of good ingredients. The kitchen sink is a double decker and overflowing with all the yummy stuff. They don't stint on the ingredients either. No sodas but with pb and j milk is always best! 2nd floor with outside stairs. Small price for good food. Found it on a whim today. So happy I did!

I’m pretty consistent in what I eat and don’t venture out much, so this was a departure for me. WOW! Make My Tay was awesome! My wife had Mega Crunch and it was equally great. I’m so glad I stopped by to pick up a couple sandwiches. Sorry, no pictures - I ate it all.

Passed that place many times and finally stopped by and tried their sandwiches! They were surprisingly delicious and fun for them making those for us instead of making at home! Staff were so friendly and courteous. Enjoyed the amazing environment. Two cons are no elevator and the price.. the place is upstairs. A plate of sandwich and chips was about $11. It was pretty pricey.

Best decision i made all week. (And i had a big week!) Stop by & get the Texan. You’re gonna love it!

We used PB&J and Tay for a corporate event and they did not disappoint! We had food delivered ahead of time and everything was nicely labeled and packaged so it was easy to grab lunch. The sandwiches were delicious and our clients/employees were so pleased. We will definitely be using them in the near future!

I’ve seen the reviews and watch the instagram foodies try PBJ with Tay out and it did not disappoint. If you’re thinking about trying it, do yourself a favor and go quickly, the milk is cold and the bacon is crispy and the strawberry jalapeño jelly is next level.

It’s weird to have someone else make you a peanut butter sandwich…but Tay makes it extra special😋So good. A real treat…try all the sandwiches or make up your own 👍

Holy cow I've never had a better PB and J in my life. The staff is amazing and even gave us a birthday coupon a while back. It's right next to my fencing club (yes, the sport not putting up fencing for houses) and after tournaments, I can guarantee that this will be the first place I'll go to afterward.

Our friend got “The Double Decker”. Let me tell you. They were PERFECT. I would have never thought putting jalapeños into the mix with a PB&J would’ve this life changing. This place changed my life!
