The dishes were excellent and plentiful (shrimp with pesto, Cajun shrimp, lasagna). The waitress very friendly. On the other hand, the prohibitive price of wine, $58 per bottle Kendall-Jackson; the same bottle paid $22 in a restaurant in Natchitoches!

Love, love, loved it. The food was phenomenal. I got the pasta pinnate with a side Caesar salad. It was amazing. We couldn’t stop going on and on about the salad even. The pasta was delicious as well. My friend ordered the crawfish pasta and Caesar side salad as well. Waiter was great, friendly and attentive. Would go back every week if I lived closer. Definitely recommend.

Been eating here for a couple of years when I visit my bestie in Natchez. The food is a delight and service is always kind and prompt. The atmosphere is somewhere between bougie Italian and southern speakeasy with beautiful lofted ceilings and soft lighting. Reservations recommended for weekend visits as it's a small venue with limited seating. The risotto, bruschetta and chicken pasta are amongst our favorites. Caramel cheesecake too!

The wait staff were friendly. The place is very cramped and hard to get around in due to the number of tables and the fact that they're right next to posts that apparently support the ceiling. The food was not bad, just a little too salty and somewhat overpriced. The place was recommended by a friend.

We stopped in for desert one evening last week with plans to have dinner there the next night because the place came highly recommended by two different friends. (We stayed 3 nights in Natchez.) We were seated promptly. Our party of 4 each ordered a dessert. We got the distinct impression that our server (Shannon) was not happy (maybe because the tip would be less than for a complete meal?) so she almost immediately passed us off to another server also named Shannon. We were not in a hurry and the restaurant was not really busy, either. We realized we had been waiting for right at an hour for 4 desserts (cheesecake and brownies with ice cream They were out of crème brûlée..). No one had checked on us, and we had decided to leave when we looked up and the server was approaching with our desserts and a half hearted apology about having to wait on the kitchen. (All of the desserts were cooked well before we got there- so what were they doing in the kitchen?). The cheesecake was delicious, but not worth the wait…It was sad because we were looking forward to dinner there the next night. We elected to go elsewhere. I hate that, but the ambivalence of the waitstaff (and seemingly no management presence, either) left an overpoweringly bitter taste in our mouths. (And that server lost out on what would have been a VERY nice tip the next evening, too!)

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and service here during our overnight stop in Natchez. And the food was DELISH!! We had the Alfredo chicken pasta, Farfalle pasta, tuna salad, and pepperoni flatbread pizza and garlic bread for appetizer. The portions on the pasta dishes were huge and they came with a side salad. Yummy (sweet) dressing to dip the garlic bread! Highly recommend!!!!

I was sadly disappointed with our dinner while visiting Natchez for NYE weekend. We were hopeful for a great dining experience as the reviews seemed pretty good. We tried to communicate with our server that the salad she delivered didn't have the ingredients that were listed on the menu. Unfortunately, she brought the same food twice. In addition, the soup of the day was obviously the final remnants of soup that may have been a couple of days old. It was a thick glob of potatoes--definitely not edible. After communicating to the server and not eating the food she still charged us.

We were on a riverboat cruise and Pearl Street Pasta was recommended by one of our tour guides, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Noel, was very helpful and very proud of her community. I was a joy just talking with her. We're glad we asked her advice, as the portions were more than ample. We both had the Shrimp Pesto and found it amazing. Light, flavorful with plenty of shrimp. They have a good selection of wines and prices are moderate. Would definitely go again and try some other local cuisine. There were many good choices.

Let me start by saying I have eaten at Pearl Street Pasta several times in the last decade and have traditionally had a wonderful experience. HOWEVER, this time was the WORST restaurant experience I've ever had. I went with a group of 11 people and we were understandably seated at two adjacent tables. Our group was there around noon and did not get food for TWO hours. We were one of the first groups in the restaurant and were the LAST one to get our food. After being there for 90 minutes, I politely asked our server how much longer it would be before the food came out. She said she didn't know and that the kitchen was backed up because they had gotten a bunch of call-in orders. I've never heard of any restaurant putting call-in orders AHEAD of seated customers. Two hours after we were seated, our food arrived. Three minutes later and we had a HUGE cockroach fall out of the ceiling and onto our table. Everyone jumped up and quickly moved to other tables. The Pearl Street Pasta staff said "Well, it's an old building" as though that made it okay for a huge bug to fall onto table while eating. Although the server said she was sorry several times, at no time did a manager come out and talk to us. No one offered to comp us a drink or meal or simply offer an apology for the service and the roach. There are lots of other great options for lunch and dinner in Natchez. Look elsewhere unless you are trying to start a bug collection.

Wonderful little spot just a half block off the main drag. While exploring the town we discovered this gem and went in to make reservations for that night. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. When we went back they remembered us and took great care of us. The food was well above my expectations and they have great deals on bottle wine. My wife and I would go back in heartbeat if we ever found ourselves back in Natchez.

First Dish: I started off with a salad and their house made balsamic vinaigrette dressing. It was amazing. I'm not sure what the issue was with the main dish (Shrimp Primavera) per the reviews I've seen. Order took a while to prepare though it wasn't too long. Got a drink and waited. Food quality was good but the taste and texture was not. Oily from Olive Oil that wasn't cooked in or drained, 3 shrimp on a shrimp dish, rubbery veggies and just an unpleasant all around main dish. The cheesecake was amazing as well. Second Dish: Cajun Shrimp Pasta included 4 shrimp in the entire plate and had the most dull flavor and oily texture as opposed to when the pasta is coated with oil for cooking and presentation. Garlic bread was cooked well but didn't taste fresh.

Me and my girlfriend visited with our two daughters on 5 and 1 year. We had sparkling water for a seafood risotto which was ok and a lasagna which was served medium warm. At the receipt was 3 bad and new restaurant experiences in USA. 1. The sparkling water was served in 2 glasses and 2 plastic cups and was billed to have been 3 canned pellegrinos priced at 18 dollars. 2. As we had 2 extra plates to share some food with our baby and the 5 year old, this was billed an extra of 10 dollars. 3. As we were foreigners we were automatically billed 18% for the service and an extra 4% for using a visa creditcard. In all the other restaurants we had visited on our trip to USA so far the totall amount without service would have been around 55 dollars but here it was 110 dollars. What a rib off!

Stopped in for lunch, myself, my Mom and my sister. We stood at the entryway for approximately five minutes before we were asked how many in our party. We were seated and waited ten to fifteen minutes before our server acknowledged our presence and asked us what we wanted to drink. We ordered three waters with lemon and we ordered our meals. Our waters arrived without lemons, we had to ask for lemons. I ordered a salad and a cup of soup. I was never asked which item I wanted out first. Our table was then served with our salads and our server immediately brought my soup out. After approximately five to ten minutes my Mom and my sisters entrees were brought out. I took one bite of my soup and could not eat it….it was over-the-top salty. I set the cup of soup on the edge of the table. Our server never came back to ask us how our meal was, did we need anything, no refills of water..NOTHING. We sat for roughly fifteen minutes waiting for the server to clear our plates, ask us if we wanted dessert, ask us if we wanted to-go containers, ask us how we wanted our bill split…NOTHING. Our server then arrived with three separate bills and two to-go containers. I told the server, I was not happy with the soup, that I took one bite and it was too salty and that I was not paying for it and I wanted the charge removed from my bill. She told me that she would go back to the kitchen and have someone taste the soup. Our server returned and told me they tasted the soup and found nothing wrong with it and that there was no manager on duty that could remove the charge and if the charge was removed she (our server) would have to pay for it. Upon our departure I asked to speak to a manager and the kitchen manager came out and I told her my dissatisfaction and she attempted to remove the charge. Our server then appeared and once again said the charge could not be removed. The kitchen manager reimbursed me for the terrible soup and we started to leave when our server told us we owed more money. We gave her the $3.00 she said we owed. At this point…it was BEYOND RIDICULOUS. WE WILL NEVER EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. TERRIBLE SERVICE and TERRIBLE FOOD!!

The food was wonderful!! The wait, however, was over 45 minutes. We kept seeing the staff run in and out the front door and finally realized that they were taking golf cart rides around the block, over and over, laughing and playing while the customers inside waited for their food. When we finally left the restaurant headed for our B&B, we saw the golf cart, loaded down with Pearl Street employees, ripping through town on a joy ride. Another employee was in the alley crying and another was outside attempting to console her. If they can stay open with half the staff, they should probably hire one or two more responsible employees and let the rest go.

The hostess was exasperated upon our arrival and asked if we had a reservation which my friend and I said no after exchanging very confused glances. She then went into the kitchen to get the manager to be our waitress.. The manager never smiled and kept giving us petty looks. There was a complete lack of compassion, empathy or customer service from her. I have no idea where this behavior came from as this was our first time at the restaurant. The food was okay, but as salty as the managers attitude with a mound of parmesan cheese on everything. Awful service, mediocre food, inflated prices. Make yourself some pasta-roni at home and add parmesan. I promise there will be no difference.

I was highly disappointed with this experience after having selected this restaurant through online research. I feel sorry for anyone who actually thinks the food is good here because that means they’ve never even had mediocre food in their life. Just because something is expensive doesn’t mean it’s good. The ambiance was nice, the tea was good and the server was friendly enough. My husband had the chicken Parmesan and it tasted like they just opened a can of tomato sauce and poured it over the noodles with no seasoning whatsoever, very bland. I had the shrimp pesto which was better than his but it still wasn’t good, the heaviest flavor in it was salt and it was a lot of it. The calamari was satisfactory but nothing to write home about and nothing you would ever crave. Overall the entire experience was awful and what’s worse we waited over an hour for this miserable meal. I highly suggest just going someplace else.

Our first night in Natchez and we were looking for a restaurant near our hotel and we happened on Pearl Street Pasta. The food is well prepared and nice portions. My wife had the chicken picatta. She said that it some of the best that...

We are here working a wedding and wanted something light and quick before we headed over to the venue for the day. Pearl Street Pasta was an excellent choice! We arrived around 11 on a Friday Afternoon and had no wait and the food was delicious! I had the Cajun Shrimp Pasta with a simple side salad and my husband had the Cajun Chicken! We will definitely be back if we are in town again!

Cannot say enough good about this place. Good service and food. We ordered their namesake dish, Pearl Street Pasta, and the Pasta Piccata with their steamed mixed vegetables on the side - both dishes were great. Also - a note about the girl who answered the phone before 5pm and kindly informed us that I could place my order when they opened at 5pm made me definitely sure I wanted to eat there. And then when I called to make the actual order, I had a connection issue but she managed that fine - better than I probably would have. I give her high marks and had I saw a manager, would have said so.

The service was pathetic. We waited an extremely long time to even have them bring us water or take our order. The food took so long to come out I was left to assume the scallops had to be captured to be cooked. The waitress was rude, nonexistent and forget about getting a drink refill. I do mean rude, horrible, nonexistent service. The bread was very stale. My daughter’s pasta and meatballs were terrible. The meatballs were dry, the pasta was like glue and the sauce was mostly flavorless. Now as far as the blackened scallops they were absolutely the best scallops I have ever eaten. If I ever go back to Natchez I would order them to go and skip the dine in experience.

They must have been having an off day. The salad was old, didn't remove the casing off of some of the sausages and shrimp were little undercooked. Our server was great and did a great job.
