Bloodys and mimosas in the morning! Food is great!

Really good food at a good price. NY Strip Quesadilla was killer, and the Death by Chocolate cake was great.

I always get the same at a diner. My 2 eggs over easy with a side of bacon white toast & home fries with a small oj & my coke or Pepsi. It was yummy 😋

The food was good. There was a bug on my strawberry but it's ok bc it wasn't touching the rest of my food. If our waitress didn't smell like a bottle of vodka I think she would have given better service.

We eat here often because it's so close to work. The food is always pretty good, so is the service. Bring a sweater with you though, it's always freezing.

Classic Diner experience. Excellent food, awesome service. Nice portions for breakfast and they have top notch desert counter with cakes, pies, canolli and chocolate covered strawberries are a must for the road.

I feel like I cheated this place on how much food I got for the price. And the seafood and pasta dish was really good. With a great soup. Beyond impressed.

I edited my previous review from over 6 years ago. It used to be 5 stars and I loved it. Now it’s not even 1 star. I ordered the gluten free shrimp scampi which comes over rice. They gave it to me over spaghetti. The spaghetti was terrible anyway—it’s just like buttered noodles at a school cafeteria. No taste. No parmesan or garlic or anything. My partner ordered the gyro platter and there was hardly any meat, it was mostly soggy fries and pita bread. We shared some buffalo chicken dip, but there was no buffalo sauce in it. It was just some chicken and cheese. Underwhelming. Disappointing. And I used to recommend this place to everyone. I don’t know what happened but it’s awful now.

Ordered through Grubhub. Don't waste your money. They got my wife's order wrong, even though we asked for the gluten free option (She's allergic). My meal was alright, but I've had way better diner food. I won't be ordering again. Queen II or Larry's II are much better.

We wanted to go somewhere different. It reminds me of an upscale diner. We only had breakfast. I had chipped beef on biscuits.

We odered 2 seafood lovers combos for takeout and everything was perfect! My only regret was not taking a picture to show how wonderful it was and the quality of the food. Would definitely order again. Simply wonderful! Edit: seafood gorgonzola salad is also top notch!

Service wasn't bad , lady was polite but didn't get my order correct 2 times , bummer . Nice on inside but everything is to close together unfortunately. Food was blah at best I actually very politely asked them take it back n they did take it off my bill so I did appreciate that . Broiled crab cakes never disappoint. They are my favorite.

I haven't been here since the 90's. So, I was really looking forward to coming here for the first time in over 25 years. No sweet tea. No suger on the table to sweeten the tea. Server brought me the wrong order. (Ordered clams and pasta, got lump crab and butter sauce) the waitress walked away before I could say something. When she came back, she told me that since I started eating it, I would have to pay for both plates if I wanted what I ordered. The food gave me diarrhea and an upset stomach. Terrible experience! Maybe I'll try again in another 20 years.

Everyone was very friendly and the service was great. But the food wasn’t the best. The chicken parm was like old or something. Maybe the chicken is reheated from days before and then sauce and cheese added.

I come here frequently. I celebrate birthdays, holidays, baptisms, graduations, you name it, here at Pegasus. I enjoy coming, but with each visit, my experience becomes worse and worse. Right now I am currently sat here to take my family out for a Father’s Fay breakfast, and the experience has been terrible. The staff had hardly helped us and was very abrasive, though I can put that aside to how busy it is today. But our meal was very unpleasant. To start, the waitress taking out drink orders was rude. When my parents asked for some cold creamers for their coffee, she directed them to a cup of creamers that were warm from before we sat at the table. When my parents put the creams in, they found the cream had gone bad, and the solidified cream floated at the top of their coffee. Whatever. We wait a while for our food, also I cut it out to how busy it was, but then we open our silverware, my fork was covered in dried food. It took nearly 5 minutes to garner the attention of any staff for a new fork. In my meal I asked for them to remove the peppers, and my meal was full of them. The food wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t great, and I am utterly disappointed by how terrible this experience was.

DO NOT EAT HERE! The atmosphere is not welcoming and a bit dated. I came here with my mother. I ordered a salad and she ordered a pastrami reuben. After taking a couple of bites, she realized that she did not like what she ordered. The waitress offered to order something else but my mom politely declined. Next, the manager came out asking why she didn't want the food and my mother explained that it was covered in way too much melted cheese and that she didn't like the taste of the russian dressing. The waitress then came back out and said that the chef said, half of the sandwich was eaten (which was a lie because she only took a couple of bites) so they can not take it off the bill. First, how does the chef dictate the outcome over the restaurant manager? Secondly, when does a restaurant not accommodate the customer? This was ridiculous! We've never been to a restaurant that treated us with such disrespect as Pegasus did and we were first time customers (that won't be returning obviously). STAY AWAY! Especially if you are a Black person.

I called and ordered string beans and potatoes. They get it right every time. The staff is great but the food is better!

One of my favorite local Diners. I stick with the Greek food when I go that is what they specialize in. Their meat loaf tower is very good as well

Our waitress was one of the nicest waitresses we have ever met, so happy and on top of everything. We had to send a panzarotti back (it needed another minute of cooking) and she was quick and apologetic. Definitely will go back and hope to see her again!

I maybe write one review a year, and I literally just left this diner. We got the worst table in the restaurant even though many were open, we were the very first table when you walk in the door, practically sitting with the register. Fine, we didn't ask to move, it was only a little drafty even though it's wet and rainy out. We were planning to be quick. The waitress (who was very, VERY sweet) saw that we were in a hurry and that I didn't look at the menu I just ordered buffalo chicken tenders and fries. My husband ordered a breakfast platter. When our meals came his was not hot, not cold but just kind of warm like it had been sitting out a while. And it had a small hair in which we didnt bother to mention be ause hed alreafy eaten half his meal anyeay. My meal? I got a plate of fries and a separate plate of 11 PIECES of chicken tenders. This was easily enough chicken for 3 people, maybe 4. And on top of that I don't know what kind of Buffalo sauce they used to toss the tenders in but it tasted terrible. I ate 3/4 of the smallest piece on the plate and realized if I don't send this back I'm paying for these, taking most of it home and eating these gross chicken tenders for the next 3 days as leftovers because I don't waste money or food. I HATE sending food back, I NEVER do it but in this instance I had to. When I said they were not good I also asked why is the portion so big and our waitress admitted that because it's dinner time she does not bother asking if you want the dinner size or the appetizer size, she just puts in the dinner size which is this enormous platter. Check padding??? She asked if I wanted anything else and I said no, I just ate the fries. They did take the chicken tenders off my bill, as they should have because I didn't eat them. Then my husband asked for an orange juice and she left to get it AGAIN without asking what size he wanted and when she returned he asked what size it was and she said a medium. Check padding #2. When I went to the register to pay I was feeling depressed and kind of gross after only eating fries so I got 3 chocolate covered strawberries to go. It's a treat and it's also fruit, so win-win. The person at the register asked if I'd like to tip on the card and since I only had large bills on me I said yes, she asked me how much I'd like to leave and saw me think about the tip for a second and she suggested that 20% would be $7 or $8. I nearly said yes when I realized she was trying to get me to tip on the strawberries I had gotten to go. CHECK PADDING #3. Beware of this place, be careful what you order, be specific about menu items and sizes and don't expect them to ask you, they will automatically try to upcharge you.

It was OK. Their food isn't great. Their menu is so big that I feel like the chef may forget what is included in alot of their dishes. I got a burger and it was obviously a frozen patty. The environment was not a place that would make me want to stay. I would go back for their homemade deserts. Very impressed.

Wonderful food if you're eating in the restaurant. If you're ordering through the drive through or pick up you have a 90% chance of get 80% of your food. There hasn't been a single time I've ordered pickup and have gotten everything I ordered. But don't worry, they'll ask if you want to add a tip 100% of the time.

Hard to say anything bad about Pegasus Diner/ Restaurant, it's clean , food is good and portions are ample, prices are reasonable and the waitresses are friendly and are helpful with choosing what to have for lunch or dinner that day. The menu is extensive and kid friendly. Desserts are made in house so it's a complete meal.

Haven't been there in a while. Decided to try it again and it was very good. Our waiter was really good. Food was really good

The atmosphere was ok. The service was good. The food was ok. The pricing and portion size was ok.

I was there for a seminar. The room we were in was nice, spacious, NOONE was sitting in another's space (like others I've been to). The food tho was not 'special'. The "roast beef w gravy & mashed potatoes"- roast beef was tender, plentiful but very bland. The gravy was 'canned" and the potatoes, several folks felt they tasted like instant. I had the shrimp Caesar salad. Had a few bits of "old very brown & wilted lettuce to remove, & another at our table had HAIR in hers and it was nowhere near a color match to her own hair. I had to ask for my water & raspberry tea several times before even water came out. Yes, they had a lot of folks to serve, and for the most part, kept all the orders correct. So it was 'just ok". That being said, they get A LOT of business....we don't know why, but they are fairly busy all the time. The chicken dish at our table was 'eh' - he picked it apart because the breading was very soggy.

This restaurant is a very large dining destination with multiple rooms and a fancy version of a Jersey diner. The menu provides the usual suspects of any diner that you would expect. Prices were reasonable and service was very friendly with a family friendly feel to it. I had the crab bisque that was ok and the roast turkey dinner with mashed potatoes with gravy, apple sauce, and stuffing that was average. If you need somewhere that everyone can get something at a good price this is a decent option.

This was a take out order. Food was really tasty, but they forgot the soups.

Ordered a black and blue salad rare. The steak was cooked well done and I asked for extra blue cheese crumbles instead of mushroom and olives. There was barely any blue cheese crumbles. I went in my car to check the steak. Gave my dog a tiny piece of the steak went back in and was screamed at by some guy and he told me to never come back. First of all yelling at a customer is despicable to say the least and very embarrassing. Screaming at me in front of employees and other people waiting to get their food is just disgusting. And he said to never come back. Well no worries there. I will never go there again. Be warned people. This is going on every social media outlet I can find to warn others. He should be ashamed of himself!!!!! 0 stars if I could !

I am updating my review from 3 years ago. I had a bad experience there regarding my server disappearing several times and being short with me verbally. I genuinely didn't want to go back until my grandmom mentioned it's her favorite restaurant. Thankfully, that experience with her was made out to be much more enjoyable than before. The past three times I have gone, the Server named Tim makes sure my experience is better than before. He's always asking what my 17-month-old son needs to go with his meal. He has made a great meal suggestion for us every time. Most importantly, he corrected the mistakes that your other servers and cooks tainted my life with years ago. He took responsibility for something he didn't even do, which to me is a sign that he takes pride in his career when the one who made the mistake disappeared. Top notch food! And now I can finally say top notch service!

We had a great lunch here, service was friendly and food was great. We will go back next time we drive through the area.

My family had been going here for a decade and this past visit will be our last. The staff was rude, the food was cold and bland and when we apoke our feelings of the experience to management, she yelled at the server making it very awkward for us and to make this worse, the server confronted us tableside to ask us why we didnt speak to her personally. How uncomfortable for a holiday family brunch!

White seafood pizza was good, but the calamari? 8 rings in the whole order? They closed a half hour early so I couldn't even get a new order. It was soggy anyway.

A very good dinner that has been in the area for a long time. I always enjoy getting breakfast anytime of the day. The waffle was good. My husband had the tuna club with fries. Wait staff are always attentive but not intrusive. Guaranteed a decent meal at a reasonable price by today's standards.

This review is late, We dined here on 10/28/23 for a dinner. And it was my first visit. I was going to get the recommended big Greek salad. But, the fragrance of scampi, once I walked in, changed my mind. I was not disappointed 😋

Was there last night. Staff is very friendly & accommodating. The diner is spacious & clean. Hugh selections on the menu. Prices are very reasonable. My meal was enough to share with someone. Highly recommended.

First time ever eating at Pegasus. It was in recommendation of my sister in law to celebrate a special life event. We received a wonderful greeting, escorted to our table. The bus boy was friendly took our drink Order. This is where the experience took a downward turn. The waitress arrived, dud not introduce herself. She appeared to all three of us not interested in being our waitress. Food took a bit however we attributed that to one of us ordering food that took longer to be prepared. Food was very tasty, we all enjoyed the food. Again the low rating was due to the waitress being MEH!!!

use to have the best clam chowder soup around, it is the worst now it has a bad taste ordered out for a small group no one liked it, go back to the old recipe.

Very small inside compared to most NJ diners. Food was okay albeit on the expensive side for what you get. Service looked like it was much better for what seemed to be "regular customers". Our experience wasn't an unpleasant one but rather an average one. Based on prices I would say that breakfast is very profitable for diner/restaurants.
