New Englander here....to be honest, I was very impressed with this place. Kind of a hole in the wall, in an otherwise bland strip mall, but well worth the stop. My sandwich was made to order, hot (toasted) and fresh and very tasty. The place is cute and functional. Quick in, good food and quick out!

One of the BEST subs in the area! Fresh,, made to orders and delicious! My favorite is the chicken teriyaki sub.....incredible! The fresh cut fries are the best around! Remember, perfection takes time, it is worth the wait.

This place was so good I didn’t even get a before pic. We were going to go into Teriyaki Madness next door, but before a festival decided on something lighter and this was the closet sandwich shop. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Protein, veggies, are all of good quality. They have a good selection of chips (the basics). A worker even came around to collect our trays when they were all empty! And even asked us about how the food was and if we needed anything. Also grabbed a large chocolate chip cookie. Love it!

The warm Italian sub is hands down the best sub there is. Better than Jersey Mike’s, and I love JM. And the fresh cut fries are amazing. I just wish there were more locations!

😍 This is by far our favorite sandwich place! We especially love their hot Italian sandwich and out of this world chocolate chip cookies!! Everyone who works there is very friendly! We ordered two chocolate chip cookie trays recently. They were ready on time and we were even offered help bringing the cookie trays to the car. Try this place! They’re awesome all around.

We tried this place for the first time earlier this evening just for a break from the usual Jimmy John's and Jersey Mike's and holy cow, it was amazing! The sandwiches were excellent, the hand-squeezed lemonade was extraordinary, and those chocolate chip cookies, my goodness! Those things tasted so homemade and fresh. The restaurant was extremely clean (they were actually mopping the floor when I got in and quickly jumped to help me), and the employees were quite friendly and went above and beyond to greet me and say goodbye as I left. I will absolutely be returning here. Thanks, guys!

Party of two visiting on a weekday for lunch. Ordered the 12 inch artichoke and mushroom sub as well as the six inch veggie which includes a variety of vegetables. Overall, the sandwiches were really good. The artichoke sub felt a little dry with a lack of sauces outside of mayo. The bread was super soft and nice. The subs can't be eaten without your hands really messy since the sandwiches are full of ingredients making the bread too soft to hold the vegetables. Would definitely come here again.

Unsuspecting little hole in the wall with a pleasant dine-in atmosphere. The subs are FANTASTIC! So are the fries! Best sub shop around this part of town. Fresh ingredients, good portion size, friendly service, and clean restaurant. 10 out of 10 highly recommended.

Good sandwich just didn’t have much meat on it.

We drove 2.5 hours from Wisconsin to eat here. I'm not joking. 10/10 the best hot sandwiches on the market. Would drive 2.5 hours again.

Never disappoints! I don't know what it is, but the food is always good. I get hot sandwiches, so I can't comment on the cold ones. Also, the fresh cut fries are fantastic, as is the squeezed lemonade.

This Penn Station location has the best staff out of any sandwich shop in the area, and that is why it is my top choice. Particularly, Gordon is an employee that ceaselessly carries a smile and friendly demeanor. He welcomes you, he makes sure you are taken care of and satisfied with your order, and he genuinely asks how you are doing. It is people like that that make the world a warmer place through small acts of kindness. Great job, Penn Station and thank you Gordon.

I ordered online the Philly, a cold Italian and a medium fry. I do live that far and left to pick it up almost immediately. I arrived within five minutes after placing my order and was handed one bag. I told the worker that I ordered fries and was informed it was they were in the bag. I asked why would you put my hot sandwich and fries in the same bag as my cold sandwich and was told to have a good night. I get home, open my bag and the sandwiches were OK but really my medium fry looked to be half eaten and cold. Great sandwiches very poor customer service. If I ever order from there again it will not be online. That way I can see and avoid this type of situation.

I stopped into Penn Station for Lunch. I ordered a Off the Grill Philly Cheese Steak. It Tasted Amazing on Garlic Bread. Great Tasting Fresh Cut Fries. Defiantly the Best Tasting Sandwich I’ve had in a Long Time!!! My Only complaint is for $17 I expected 3 times the amount of meat. It was light on the meat otherwise I would have given it hands down 5 Stars!!! #Ricks2Cents

Had a 9 inch Philly Cheesesteak Subw/everything, small fries and a medium drink. Some of the best fries I've had in a while. Everything was made to perfection! Told them it was my first time there, the gentleman that took my order explained everything very well and how it worked. He took his time and I didn't feel like an idiot or rushed. This place is 5 stars all the way! Food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Highly recommend. The total bill with tax was just over $16. Worth every penny.

Food is good but very expensive

Learned about this place going to college in Indiana. The bread is on par or better than any other sandwich place. My wife and I moved to the area about a year ago and now this is one of our favorite haunts. The guys are always really nice and attentive. Always a positive experience.

Good place for subs and other multiple options, like the artichoke sandwich, regular potion is large and fills up easily. The food is really good and the service is pretty good as well

Stopped by and ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich and fries. The grilled steak and peppers were delicious. The bread was put face down on the flat top and grilled, but the outside remained nice and soft. Great fresh cut fries. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the amount of meat on the sandwich. Put some more meat on the sandwich and I will give you 5 stars.

THE BEST CHICKEN PHILLY IN A VERY LONG TIME. Everything about the food, service and atmosphere was on point. Forgive me for stepping on toes but Charley's need to take a lesson or two from Penn. I could go own and own but I won't. When I come back towards Downers Grove I will return for a nice juicy sandwich. Excellent job over and beyond

Easy to order at the store, quick service. friendly staff. Ended up having a classic Italian. Tasted good, veggies stood out on flavor. I think their warmer options tend to be better and like their veggie and chicken teriyaki.

They asked how we wanted the sandwiches made. No mayo on either sandwich. ..hot peppers on a specific sandwich. And they still made them both with mayo and put peppers on wrong sandwich.

Penn Station has the best philly cheesteak in the area. From the onions to the mushrooms, all the ingredients are harmonious and create a perfect bite. It is a little pricey but it is definitely worth it.

Don't let their dark windows fool you,, they ARE open!!! They have multigrain bread option now too!! So good!!! Excellent Subs! Warm with melted cheese and grilled veggies! The bread is cooked fresh there and very tasty! Then there's the fries... the best in town! Fresh cut and just the right amount of salt on them, lightly salted and not overpowering like so many other places. It's not a low calorie dinner but VERY tasty!!! The service is also top notch and always friendly and welcoming!

The staff here is super cool and super friendly also I love the atmosphere because it's very modern and super clean. I kind of feel like it's priced a bit High but I did enjoy my food and my visit so if I'm in the area again I'll stop by and thanks for being so friendly and welcoming.

One guy was packing up 40 minutes before closing time and ignored us. The other guy shook his head and ran to the back. It’s a sandwich shop. It’s not a three course meal. Don’t be lazy, it’s your job to make sandwiches. Walked out of the place. Will take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic cheese steaks. Mojo’s is nearby and claims to be more authentic which may be true, but overall I’d much prefer these sandwiches. Fries could be seasoned more but overall they’re great too.

Great sandwich, wish they add a bit more deli meat in the sandwich, however, it was really good. Definitely going back asap.

We are risk totally addicted to Penn Station East Coast Subs! Ever since we discovered this chain we won't eat subs anywhere else. I'm a native New Yorker and the subs definitely represent the east coast! My family loves the grilled subs. My favorite is the Philly cheese steak! Don't forget the fries! Just like homemade seasoned fries!

Food was delish. Had a salad, sub, and fries. Only lost a star since I was picking up, paid online, and showed up 10 minutes after the time and food was not ready. I'm assuming he wanted to make the fries fresh, which I can appreciate. But just wanted to pick up a bag and go. Otherwise staff was all friendly!

One of my absolute favorite places whenever I'm in the area. Great group of guys there, always smiles so service is always pleasant. Subs are fresh and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend

Penn Station is really great! Their menu here is very nice, their selection is so big, and they have so huge variety to choose from. Everything at this place is great. All of their food are really worth a try. All of it are fair and reasonably priced. You can actually try anything you want and order all of it without breaking your pockets. They are very affordable. While eating an awesome and quality foods you can also save a lot of money compared going to other resto around. This place is really convenient. Penn Station is exceptional! Their employees here are so nice, they really care to all of their customers, and they making friends to the customers by doing their job so perfectly. Delicious sandwiches and great fries!

Great quick service sub place. Their sandwiches are solid, particularly the turkey sub and the teriyaki sub. I'm a bit of a cookie nerd, and Penn Station has my favorite cookie ever. It's a chocolate chip cookie that has the perfect amount doughy-ness to it. The fries are excellent as well, and I'm not even into fries generally.

Love the service, energy, and most of all the food! Sandwiches and ingredients are so fresh, not to mention their chocolate chip cookie! The cause is great, so going here is my favorite! Way better than jimmy Johns or subway!

We frequent this Penn Station location often for lunch. The chicken cheesesteak is our go-to and it is always excellent. This location also has great service. Everyone here is very friendly and attentive.

First time at this location. Busy but the guys making sandwiches made it clear he was a little busy but it was well worth the few minutes. I had this year's ago and loved sandwiches. Glad they brought one here
