Food is always good, I've never had a messed up order, and the workers are always super nice! The issues I do have though is every surface is sticky to the touch everytime Ive been there. Also the drink machine tastes funky at times I'd be curious to know when the last time the nozzles were cleaned and the thing was calibrated.

The food was good but a little pricey.

Bit crowded but the bread was fresh as we're the ingredients. It was a good sandwich h and was served fairly quick, definitely glad I stopped in for a bite.

I had a toasted club on white and it was pretty good. Seemed a little pricey, but it was a good sandwich. I got there close to closing time, about 30 minutes, so I could sense some minor hostility but nothing I wouldn't do at the end of shift too.

The food was good and the service was great but the store was kinda dirty to be honest

I've been going regularly for 3-5 times a week, for at least 4 years , staff is great, take the time to learn my name and memorize my order , the process have gone from under$10 to $12.70 it's too expensive, I'm probly dropping to once a month if I don't boycott all together, hope somebody is watching the demographics because it won't add up!

While I do love the food and it’s great every time the service is horrible ordered a regular pizza with no onions, mushrooms or ham and added banana peppers while Brooklyn behind the counter only got half the order right didn’t add peppers and didn’t even add the drink I asked for it’s not like there was a huge line it’s like she didn’t even care love the food hated the service

First and only time the food wasn't quite up to par, very greasy, made my family sick for a day. Everyone has a bad day though usually its amazing and worth every cent.

Absolutely terrible! Fries were not cooked & I got a small BLT & it had 3 pieces of bacon on it - so to me, that in itself is ridiculous for the price! My husband got the Philly cheesesteak - it wasn't horrible, just greasy. At least his had meat on it! We won't go back.

Management here is just terrible. They never get the order correct. They don't even try. Have contacted corporate about this location several times. Avoid it 54 is much cleaner and much nicer employees.

Best Italian sub. We sat besides one of the workers kid who had her cell phone watching videos that we couldn't even talk or hear. The food was great.

The first time I went to Penn Station was very good . The employees were very helpful. I will be returning very soon to try a different sandwich and one of their Huge cookies that are baked fresh daily

I pop in this bad boy and an employee by the name of Ernest Waistline takes my order. This guy was chubby, i mean a real commode choker... Anyway i get my sandwich quick but its wrong! A chicken parm? I ordered a chicken teriyaki! But i hate to complain so i go with it. Come back tommarrow and ol Ernie takes my order again. Ill have the rubuen, again i get a chicken parm. 8 days of different orders and Freakin Ern is sending me out with a chicken parm each time! Maybe its a language thing so i bring a slang-lator to this "East Coast Subs" shop. "Ya bruh gimmie jawn those hoagies wit a pu pu platter clucker, no ghetto mcD yall hear!" Ernest is like yeah dude here's the chicken teriyaki just say that next time boo. Such a slap in the yam yams!

Rude workers who ask customers personal questions and harassing men, acting like they are on something like they are HIGH!

Great place and food, they tend to be a little sluggish on getting orders out to customers sometimes.

Disappointed in the rueben sub, I think, it was, the bread & it's over priced.

Got the family dinner there, with two large fries that were expensive, soggy, and raw. Disappointing to say the least.

This place used to be a lot better years ago. Good ingredients but the bread was undercooked and the tomatoes are supposed to go in the sandwich not on top of it. The idea is to be better than subway. It’s a low bar to achieve. I would’ve complained to the manager but she had a cigarette hanging out of her mouth looking for a lighter, and realized I was going to get nowhere. Here’s some pictures of what I got.

Friendly greeting when we came in. Delicious sandwiches as we ordered them. Hot fries were yummy. Took it to go and wasn’t a problem to get separate bags since we drove separately. Will be back again!

I ordered online for it to be ready at 12. I get there at 12:08 and wait ten minutes for my fresh cut fries that had been dropped. My sandwich was finished as I saw the gentlemen get it off the bread warmer and load fries into it. If fries were dropped when I came to get my order and my sandwich was ready there's no reason for me to have needed to wait that long to get my order. Also store wasn't busy

Always enjoy eating here. I enjoy the artichoke sandwich so much I haven't tried anything else!

The place looked a mess - uncleared counters and tables, floor unswept, no one behind counters wearing masks. Friendly personnel. Just need clean up

First of all, I believe the lady who waited on us was high on something. She was talking so fast you couldn’t understand a word she said. She didn’t give me back my change at the register and said she would bring it to me later. When we went to get our drinks, there was no ice. When I got my salad, I had no fork. She said she would bring me one. About 10 minutes later, the other girl working there came and finally gave my change back. Then she told me they were out of forks and just walked off. In the meantime my daughter and son got sandwiches which u could tell the cheese and meat had been sitting out way too long and the french fries were not done at all. Finally, the girl that had waited on us found a box of forks and brought me a fork. We just threw the food away and left. I usually never complain about my restaurant experiences, but this was the worst service and food I have ever had.

I like the food, but SOOO expensive for what it is. You could go to Texas Roadhouse and eat a steak and baked potato for less.

Came here to eat as we were in town for work. First time to Kentucky! I enjoyed this restaurant. The food was really good and the cookies too. The employees were nice. I had the chicken cordon blue monthly special and my teammate had the philly. Their fries are salty. My only negative comment would be the tables and bathroom were dirty. I tried to wipe off some crumbs with a napkin so we could sit and the napkin stuck to the table. I moved our stuff to a different table. I give three stars because of the cleanliness. Debating to four stars so I’ll give 4 stars as it could be a bad day... Need to clean the tables and use clean or properly rinsed rags! I looked at six tables and they were all dirty and the place was empty when we got there. Bathroom was dirty. Stuff all over the floor.

Very slow. 45 min for a sandwich. Employees were fighting. Lost my order. Sloppily prepared when I finally got it , no one there seems to care a bit.will not be back.

I ordered two cheesesteak sandwiches to go. My husband got a large and I got a regular. I added onions and lettuce to his sandwich and I added lettuce. Neither sandwich had lettuce and my husbands was also missing the onions. The girls who was adding the condiments was texting on her phone and clearly should of read the receipt that was attached to each sandwich. Each receipt said what should of been on the sandwich and clearly they don’t read them. $21 is a lot to pay for two sandwich when they clearly can’t put what you want on the sandwich, why ask? I called to tell them that they forgot to add the lettuce and onions and she said she couldn’t do anything for me unless I came back in. She could of at least gave a credit or something because it was their mistake.

Didn't add the condiments on wrap and fries were burnt

We came in to pick up an online order, had ordered 20 mins previous to entering to pay and pick up our food. Our food wasn’t made, and we stood in the lobby for 5 mins before we were noticed. Three other people were helped and out of the store with their food before we were asked again what we had. In the middle of us talking to the woman behind the register, another person walked in and she began helping him, completely cutting us off. He was in the store no longer than 3 mins and out with his food and drink quickly, while we were left ignored and waiting.

Great place to get a healthy sandwich. I have been going here for years and they never disappoint. Fast and friendly staff.

The Lady who cooks by noon on the weekends is my favorite cooker... (My opinion). Great ajob!! Also you guys have one of the best sweet tea!!

Just so everyone that decides to eat here, just be aware of the fact that the chicken and steak and all deli meat is just sitting on ice because the coolers don’t work at all. Oh and don’t forget the fact that the ice machine has mold in it so everyone is getting moldy ice. Oh and also they leave all dishes soaked in bleach with out even rinsing them off because they feel that it’s “clean”. So enjoy y’alls meals. If ya get sick you know why 😷

Sandwiches are always delicious from here, and the service is friendly and fast. My only complaint is that the prices are a little high for a deli shop.

With all the other sandwich shops in town, I tend to forget about Penn Station - but, I'm glad we visited! The restaurant was warm and inviting as were the employees and our service was so fast. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. I'll definitely be visiting again in the near future! Highly recommended for a quick bite on one's lunch break - you'll be in and out in no time.

The order was wrong. The sandwiches were eaten before the fries were ready. My son went up to ask for a bag and was ignored by the staff. It's expensive fast food for the service to be so poor.

Food was average. Service was....how can I say this... basically....never had a tran male hit on/serve me before. The associates "running" the restaurant show were loud and unprofessional to say the least. I will not return to this location. That said....PennStations RUBEN IS THE BEST FAST FOOD VERSION. Just wish I didn't have to spend 25$ to deal with all the loud drama.

Holy cow this is an easy pick for best sub shop in the entire state, and Owensboro is blessed enough to have this store right on Frederica street, it's friendly it's clean its fast enough, try the chicken parm and add pepperoni ;)

Usually when you work at a restuarant you get sick of the food you serve, however I've worked at Penn station for 4 years roughly and still crave a sandwich all the time.

Love it. The ppl that work at the one I go to are so super friendly and helpful. The manager even came and was talking to me. Absolutely love this place! Oh yeah and the food is amazing too!

Although the food is a bit pricey its definitely worth it due to how fresh and tasteful the meals always are!

The food is great here and the location is usually kept pretty clean. The customer service is great. My only complaint is I feel like some of the prices are inflated more than they should be. If it were a little cheaper, I'd visit more often.

Ok -at little high in price. Dark inside and $1.99 for local made cookie I'll never buy again. The veggie sandwich had way too many onions. I'm sure their meat sandwiches might be something i should try.

The food is absolutely fantastic. Amazing jabs cut fries. Best fresh squeezed lemonade I've ever had. The customer service was stellar. Polite, quick, and accommodating. Best restaurant experience in a very long time.

Food was good, shop was clean, would have been a normal penn station 5 star experience accept the manager.... the short haired round woman was way, way over stressed from having a catering order, and she was snapping at people on the phone and at her employees. It was super awkward and unprofessional, she needs to be replaced.

Friendly staff, but extremely slow on the food delivery of everyone during the lunch hour rush!! We we're on an hour lunch from professional development at Apollo High School and there were about 3 different parties of 3-4 people from our PD that had to ask for their food to be boxed up and they had to eat it during the PD presentation.

Penn station is a long time favorite place for sub sandwiches. The fries are so plentiful and fresh, the subs come in so many varieties. And they make fresh cookies every day. What's left to say about a sub shop?

I have only had two of their different subs so far, the steak and cheese, the Italian and both are fantastic. I usually just get the steak and cheese because it is so good. This June the Italian was the sub of the month so I tried it. It will now be hard to choose. They make their fries from scratch and they just may be the best fries in Owensboro. I don't drink lemonade; but they make it from scratch too and friends have told me it's great. The iced tea is fresh brewed and quite good. I like strong nonsweetened tea and theirs is right up my alley. I do not know how the sweet tea is. Worth a trip for lunch any day. Or if you just want a sandwich anytime.

Got there an hour before close, and the girl working the grill acted upset that we came in near closing. Another guy showed up 15 minutes before, and she told him that she wouldn't turn the grill for him.

They have the best subs around.

Had the 8” Philly Cheesesteak with medium fries and couldn’t be more satisfied. The service was excellent and the establishment was clean. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for this place.

I ordered a 8" artichoke sandwich and a small fry. I usually love the food but this time the artichokes were hard and the fries cold and hard. I don't think I will be back for a while.

Comí aquí cada vez que volver a casa porque no hay ninguno en el estado que actualmente vivimos. Siempre limpie la mesa con un barrido húmedo porque tengo niños pequeños. Más tarde la mesa 5 toallitas todavía estaba sucio, con algún tipo de potingue pegajoso. Miré el resto de las mesas con los mismos resultados. Tras la toallita seca, que se le pegue, con una servilleta de porquería negra. El suelo estaba tan sucia y pegajosa tus zapatos pegado como entrabas a. No me gusta comer en la suciedad, y eso es lo que yo estaba rodeado de. Incluso los asientos de la cabina estaban cubiertas en la porquería verde negruzcas/ ¡PUAJ!

Service was fast, friendly. The Philly cheese steak is a decent choice the fries are soft and taste pretty bland definitely recommend ketchup with them. Pricing is a little high for fast food.

I had a wonderful lunch break here today. All the employees were very engaging, fast, and personable.

I have been here a few times. Every single time my order has been wrong. I tell them what I want and they read it back to me. What they read back to me is right but the food is always wrong
