It was a good time, a little chaotic but that made it fun in its own way. :))

Our son and daughter have attended different cooking camps here and they have thoroughly enjoyed them!! The staff is always amazing and we love all the varying types of food they teach to cook! I would like to add though-please be mindful of bullying and upholding the rules in place for not allowing that type of behavior. Kids can be very cruel.

My daughter did summer camp here and absolutely loved it! She wanted to go back right away and stay longer. They were great communicators and very organized. The kids came home with lots of delicious treats - way more complex than we'd ever make at home. Huge win. We'll be back next summer!

I would not recommend the couples cooking class to anyone. $100 is steep for barely any food; we left hungry and got dinner on the way home. There was hardly any instruction, not hands on, almost everything was already prepped/made. Many people had no idea what was even going on. It seemed like the instructor’s first time cooking the dishes. There was a significant issue with food safety as we were expected to use the same cutting board for raw and fresh food. Didn't even give us a tour of where things were. I had read reviews prior and was very excited but realize now that they are all very old. I hope that this review saves someone else $100 to get a nice dinner somewhere else.

We had a great time at Pensacola Cooks Kitchen! The classes were booked up for a while so make sure to take a look at the schedule. We were able to grab last minute tickets which was nice. The instructor was great, we ended up cooking Indian food. I think it was a nice balance between hands on and demonstration. There was also a little history lesson thrown in. You can bring your own drinks, and they provide glasses. Prices are actually pretty good, we were full and able to take home left overs. We have already signed up for our next class.

I love to cook about as much as I do eat. I’m always looking for ways to expand my cooking knowledge and become a better cook. When my wife and I travel, one of the things we do is take a cooking class or a food tour. If you are in the Pensacola area, I highly recommend Pensacola Cooks. They are a hands on school. You’ll be wearing an apron, cutting veggies and cooking your heart out. All under the watchful eyes of your chef. Tonight we made Veggie Pulao, Masala Vada, Chicken Curry, and Nimbu Pani to wash it all down with. If you like Indian food, you would love this. This is true authentic Indian Food. The kind that puts beads of sweat on your forehead while you’re eating it. You can tone it down a bit if you don’t like spicy. When you’re done, you sit down with the new friends you met and enjoy an awesome meal. They also send you home with the recipe so if you forget like me, you can make it at home with no worries. I highly recommend Pensacola Cooks. Try it. I don’t believe you will be sorry.

It was phenomenal. Just beware that if you get there past a certain time they may be out of things. I had the schnitzel with bacon macaroni and cheese and their house chips. It was very good and very filling. I suggest the schnitzel with the mushroom sauce. It was almost like being back in Germany and having a jaeger schnitzel. Great place. Will be going back!

Great Find! Looks like a hole in the wall (& it is) but loved the food, and staff is great. Varied menu. Some outside picnic tables too. Had meatloaf and pork snitzel, very, very good. Smashed potatoes with yummy gravies to choose from, collard greens so flavorful. only took a star off as smashed potatoes were barely warm but everything else was piping hot.

The food here is amazing! I didn’t realize that they served meals, I thought they just offered cooking classes. But when I discovered they served lunch, and heard a rave review from someone, we checked it out. We had a BLT which was amazing on their fried bread. The homemade potato chips are probably the best chips we’ve ever had. We also had their meatloaf which was definitely the best meatloaf I’ve ever had especially with the mushroom gravy. We had their vegetable of the day, which was broccoli, which can be a tough sell, but the way they seasoned it made it probably the best broccoli side I’ve ever had. They also had delicious desserts and other very interesting sides. It’s very small and dated inside, and most likely you will watch your food being made. However, the quality of the food and the service will make up for any deficiencies... Give it a try!

Pensacola Cooks Kitchen provides meals that make you feel like you're at home. The ingredients are typically locally sourced. Tasting their delicious asparagus makes it evident that this place cares where their food comes from. Not only are they great at making dishes like meatloaf, they give back to the community. Attending one of of their classes could definitely be a confidence in booster for a new chef in the making. Don't forget dessert. You won't regret it.

This place reignited an enjoyment for cooking for me. My friend and I took a Thanksgiving Sides Boot Camp class where we focused on non-traditional sides that awakened your taste buds. The parsnips with fresh rosemary and walnuts and homemade apple pies were awesome hits. The place is run by family which gives it a genuine and relaxing feel. Plus, the recipes for the cooking classes are handed to you in the beginning so you can jot down personal notes. Unleash your inner creativity, step up your cooking game, and give a cooking class here a go! The only slightly negative element is their sign is easily missed. I'd recommend googling the area and surrounding businesses before coming.

I would definitely start off by saying "Don't Judge a book by its cover" this place looks less than ideal on the outside and inside but with that being said the food and service is phenomenal. So tasty, fresh, and a different out take on food. They have some unique dishes and I can tell that this is a popular place. The hours are limiting (10:30 - 3 pm). We arrived around 2:45 and they were still serving, thankfully for us. As I watched them cooked the meals right in front of you and you smell the aroma - your mouth can't help but water and then when you see the meals presented to the other patrons - it makes you anticipate what's to come. We ordered the pork loin with stuffed sausages, jasmine rice, green beans and fried potato chips. The hubby got dessert as well. The food was soooo good. The meat was tender and moist and covered in mushroom sauce ( I don't care for mushrooms, but I devoured this). The green beans were fresh long green beans, sauteed and sprinkled with like a garlic salt (they were great, a nice snap). The jasmine rice tastes awesome as well. Everything was great, surpassed my expectations. The exterior - gravel parking lot, adequate parking space. Interior - limited seating, just a bar (right in front of the grill), some side seating. Space is crowded with necessary equipment for the restaurant. The staff was great - nice and helpful. I like that the restaurant seemed to be involved with the community, they had a board sporting upcoming events - some included - kids camps for cooking, kids cooking lessons, being involved in food truck events. I would definitely recommend this place based on the food!

The food itself is okay, for a plate that's $9 I believe they can add a roll, bread or make the portions bigger . The establishment needs work, it looks unorganized and uninviting to say the least. If they put my meal on fancy plates, and had a waiter between me and the chef, they could have called it gourmet and I'd have paid forty bucks for what I just ate, and left happy, but it only cost me nine. I'd eat here daily if I was from the area.
