I found this place 3 weeks ago and have came back once a week since. Recently moved to Deltona, I came from downtown Orlando so finding good food spots has been difficult. Their food is FRESH, FLAVORFUL, and the service is A1. I’m a Taurus, so you can trust this review 😂 #foodislife.

We were at the store next door and decided to stop in to try the margaritas. We tried the first option on the menu for Margaritas and it is absolutely amazing. A perfect blend and perfectly presented. I will be back.

The food is great and the people are even better. Always a good time!

Jane was very sweet and knowledgeable, the best service I’ve had at Pepe’s! Food was great! I love love love how many vegan options they have! I only wish they’d have some tufu and/or seitan instead of only meat alternatives as well as vegan refried beans but the Beyond Beef and black beans they offer are very good!

The options are authentic Mexican meals. Quality and quantity were above average. Will be going back because I experienced everything in a positive way.

The place looks wonderful very clean and nice atmosphere, the service is very fast and kind. Only issue I had was the food, for the prices definitely not worth it and the ground beef tasted very weird and off, the rice was really good but when we got our nachos the queso was cold and not melted. Even the Salsa tasted funny too not the best salsa I’ve had.

At arrival we wanted to sit outside but didn't bc the music was LOUD! Like in the club loud. We got sat in a booth that connected to another and when the guy at the other table moved it moved our booth. So much so we switched seats to the other side connected to a stable wall. We then got salsa that only one of us three enjoyed. I thought it tasted off. Too much cilantro or something. We added queso and the queso tasted fine but it was so cold we couldn't dip we had to scoop. My carnitas came with veggies that were cooked to perfection but tasted incredibly bland. No s&p on table, No hot sauce offered or at table. Had to ask. The salad on the shrimp plate ($22) had no dressing and none offered. No oil and vinegar at table either. The prices are even more off putting. My carnitas plate was $20. A vegetarian quesadilla is a whopping $17!!!!! Will never be back not even for free food. The one and only thing this place got right was presentation. The food looked amazing until you put it in your mouth! Shut this place down please.

Yeah. Definitely overpriced. But food and service was fine. It’s nice because it’s new of course. Hopefully they get some better tasting salsa though. We were able to sit outside with our dog. Salsa tasted better. And the teramana marg was very good.

Awesome place to eat. Make sure to ask for Johnny, he is an excellent waiter.

We had beef enchiladas and chicken/spinach enchiladas. The flavor, quality, presentation and service is superior to other Mexican restaurants in Volusia county. On a different level than a mom & pop family joint. I would give them five stars except for a few things. With the open dining/bar situation, it's far too loud. There were no children dining and it wasn't bar or kitchen noise. Just too many dinners for the small open space with no walls or partitions. Next the, diverse, menu lacks combinations and substitutions aren't allowed. I love enchiladas but if ordering a supreme enchilada plate, I like to pick the enchiladas that I like. I am happy to pay an upcharge for substitutions. Other than that, everything is delicious.

I'm teetering on 3/4 stars. The food and drinks were good but really expensive. I'm used to paying $14 for a margarita at Disney. Not at a restaurant that looks like a hole in the wall. (It's a white building that is easily passable if you're not paying attention.) I did enjoy the food. I got the shredded chicken enchilada which was $17. It came with your choice of rice and refried beans or black beans. The portion size was perfect. The service was extremely slow. We came in at 5:30 and were the only ones there. We had to tell our server we were ready to order. At the end, we all had our credit cards out hoping that he'd take a hint that we were ready to leave. We didn't leave until about 7. The place was filling up but I'd say there was still only about 5-6 groups of people and a few at the bar. It got extremely loud in there too even with so few groups of people.

This was our first visit to Pepe's Cantina. The service was great. Our server was attentive and on top of things. The stuffed Avocado appetizer was great. We had the salmon bowl, which was very tasty and a chicken dish. The taste was great but the chicken was a bit overcooked and dry. The refried beans looked appetizing and were delicious. The Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend Pepe's for a nice night out.

Food was delicious. Chefs tacos were amazing and the carnitas verdes was packed with flavor. Hidden gem in debary. I highly recommend this place. I’ll be back!!!

OUTSTANDING even when delivered. Great food and very fresh!

We ordered their sirloin steak XXL burritos. Oh My God Delicious! Everyone complaining about Chipotle check this place out. Their burritos are the most flavorful and delicious you will have. Cannot wait to go eat here in person. Update: We went in person. Delivery was great, but in person was so much better! The staff is so attentive, and enthusiastic. This is our new spot for Mexican food. Everything is delicious, the prices are on point for the quality of food and portions.

I ordered the Fajitas for two <Steak, Chicken and Shrimp> We were very pleased with amount of food and how well it tasted. The shrimp were numerous and plump. Asked if the tortillas could be both flour and corn. Yes they did. I ordered an extra side of the black beans as it came with refried beans. The fresh tortilla chips were bagged in a brown paper bag vs a container. This allowed the chips to drain some of the natural cooking oil in the paper. This made the chips really good. I ordered 2 different desserts. The pina colada cheesecake and their Flan. Although their sizes was on the smaller size, they were both delicious. It was my first time trying this restaurant. But it sure won't be my last time.

Best Mexican restaurant in Debary!! The waitress was super nice and helped us chose our drinks. The atmosphere was very welcoming, it felt like I was eating at my friends house. The food was really good and freshly cooked. The manager came to us after our meal and we had a great conversation about the restaurant and Mexico. I would definitely come again, make sure to say hi to the family of Pepe’s Cantina in Winter Garden!!

Amazing food, service and ambiance. Everything is made in house and it feels like you are eating at home. Don’t skip on the cocktails.

Good place to share with family or friends.

I decided to try Pepe's cantina for bite30 and I thought everything was just okay. I went ahead and placed my order all at once but I didn't expect everything to be brought out all at once. So let's start off with the Mexican street corn. It was my first time having Mexican street corn and I really didn't care for the mayonnaise I think it was on the corn. It kind of tasted a little sour I'm not sure. The entree I chose was the birria tacos and they were warm they seemed like they weren't exactly fresh. Lastly I chose the churros for dessert and they were pretty good but they did taste a little like they'd been in the freezer. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but it definitely wasn't for me.

Pepe’a Cantina is always great! Location is a 10 and service is even better. I definitely recommend. The chefs tacos are great and the portion are good too. Edwin is a great server.

Silvana was our server and as always I’m never disappointed! This restaurant has by far the best tacos in orange city! The atmosphere is great, kind and friendly staff. I would recommend all and anyone to join in on the fun and delicious tacos! Hands down!!!

We are from San Diego California so we are always on the lookout for Mexican food that reminds us of home. This place is amazing and this is where we will come from now on! The empanadas, the tamales, the enchiladas, everything was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend.

This was our first visit to the area after doing some hiking nearby and we are glad we chose this place for lunch! Excellent food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere! We will be back for sure.

The best food, the best service. Love it

The service here is excellent. The atmosphere is not great, which explains exactly why there was nobody in there at 12 o’clock on a Sunday for brunch. But what’s worse than anything else is the food. This was the first time we ever went there and I was so excited that they had brunch. I had the huevos rancheros, and it kinda looked like vomit. What was worse, it tasted that way too. I hate to say this because I really had high hopes but I will say the tortilla chips and salsa were good, especially the salsa.

Over All the food was delicious and flavorful Ordered soft chicken tacos and chimichanga Not excessively portioned which is ok but if I was starving I would have wanted more .

Everytime I walk into this restaurant, is so clean and happy feeling. Silvana took my order, she is always on top of her work supplying information on all and every item menu, ordered my favorite steak burrito and wow..it was so tasty and delicious 😋 mhmhm so good and tasty...and hot and fresh. Perfect 10/10 on service and food. Silvana is a great staff to have in the team.

Brirra tacos were amazing!!!! Conosme actually had delicious flavor and didn't taste like roast beef grease. Super super delicious - definitely something to try! Probably the worst salsa I have had it a mexican restaurant. It tasted like vinegar as if they used jarred salsa or made it with pickled jalepenos.

They never disappoint, always great food and service.

A little heart broken. We have been coming to this restaurant since they opened. They just changed their menu on Monday and the price increase is ridiculous. A pitcher of skinny margaritas used to be $45 and now it’s $65. You only get four margaritas with the serving. The single price for a glass is $14. So if we would have just ordered by the glass we would have only spent $56. So we lost $9 by ordering a pitcher which usually would save you a few dollars. The kids meal was almost double what it used to be and everything else was a few dollars more. So they raised the price astronomically on everything that wasn’t the main entrees which is what most people focus on when ordering. I just don’t know how you justify a 44% increase on a menu item. Needless to say even though we love the service and food we can’t justify the price anymore.

Outstanding food. Great service. Reasonably priced. Dishes were bursting with flavor. Soup was a perfect temp. Nice to see a place that’s really on top of their game. Most are not these days. We will be regulars know. Steak tacos and Bowl were outstanding!

We have eaten here several tines, food is good, service is great and atmosphere is pleasant. Tonight we ordered fajitas for 2, and it was very good, and reasonably priced for what was served. The issue is we asked for the small amount of quest on the side and were told is was $2. We received the below bowl(see pic) and assumed it was what we ordered for $2, but we were charged $7, which is the price for the appetizer of quest. We asked our server and she said she brought is the appetizer portion and would therefor be charging us $7. I wish i had taken a picture of it full, because it was barely half filled for $7? We like Pepes, but if we are going to be charged this much for so small an amount, we will be looking elsewhere for our rice & beans. Also, $1 for a tablespoon( I am not exaggerating) of sour cream? Server apologized, but said she had to charge that much. Shame on you, Pepe's Cantina!

Stopped by because my niece recommended their Spicy 🥑 Avocado margaritas. We had it on the rocks & frozen style. I preferred the drink over ice. Nice atmosphere, and our bartender was great, bonus...she was funny too! We had a few drinks @ the bar before their dinner hours, so it was nice, fun & relaxing experience. Perfect afternoon activity after a lady's day and getting our nails done.

I just stopped to have lunch and I was excited to try this for the first time. I was not disappointed. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was how clean it was in here. The hostess say me quickly (I beat the lunch rush) and the service was impeccable. The food is absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients. Authentic. And lots flavor! I'm excited that this is here in Debary and I can't wait to bring my wife for dinner

Update: was better when it first opened. Not sure what has changed. Good quality not as good now. Great place and staff. Was seated right away and service was friendly and quick. The food and drinks were great! Table side guacamole is a must! We couldn’t finish our meals, brought home and had for dinner. Def will be going again soon. We love spicy food, so ask for A side of the habanero spicy sauce if you like spice, a little goes a long way.

This is not a huge place, but it was very nice. I really enjoyed the food even though we got appetizers. I enjoyed the tostada de pulpo. As far as I can tell, not a lot of restaurants actually have that at least the ones that I've seen. I also appreciate that I did not have to ask for water. They just gave it to me automatically.

We were happy to see that there were vegan options on the menu. My husband emphasized that what we wanted, to make sure it was made vegan. Unfortunately even though the items were supposed to be vegan, they were indeed not. My husband calls and all he got was an apology. What if there was an allergy to something in the food, would all we get be an apology?

I had some high expectations and this restaurant did not disappoint! Lovely atmosphere. Super cute building with posh landscaping. Ambient lighting and comfortably quiet place. The food is AMAZING. Almost as amazing as our server. She was warm, friendly, timely, kind, very informative and genuinely sweet. We are definitely going to be back to try some of their delicious entrees. My significant other had the chimichanga and I had the burrito. Large portions and the drinks never ran out. The flavor of the food was a true Mexican style. Which I absolutely LOVE! HIGHLY recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Mary helped us out tonight and she was a phenomenal individual who had amazing energy and made sure everything we needed was delivered. She is the shining star of the Cantina and I highly recommend you ask for her if you eat here.

Girlfriend and I showed up hungry 25 minutes before close (unknowingly) and were greeted by Mary. Sat, ate, paid and were out the door before close! Absolutely stellar service, speed, and quality. Thank you, Mary!

This must be one of the most focused on experience restaurants in volusia county. Edel leads her team with a focus on quality of life for both her staff and customers. Mary makes for one of the strongest team players and servers. Her personable attitude and attention to detail makes for a great experience for anyone! The staff knows their menu and drinks well. They host large groups efficiently and unintentionally knock you on your butt with the drinks.

Awesome lunch! and great customer service by Jane. Thank you we enjoy the octopus ceviche salad, my wife loved this dish. I had the sampler and it was all delicious. We'll have to come back and try some of the other dishes. Oh! Their doggy friendly in the outside back patio.

Since moving to Debary, Pepe’s Cantina has become a favorite of my husband and I’s. Mary was our server at our most recent visit and her customer service and kindness was beyond amazing. Our food came out accurately and quickly. The drinks were amazing (house margaritas were $5.75 that night!). Although the service is also great, Mary took it to amazing!

Absolutely WOW'D! Service was the best service we've had in any restaurant in the area, Deland, Orange City, Deltona, Debary, or Sanford. Johnny was outstanding, he was courteous, attentive, prompt, and offered up great suggestions. We ordered a house marg and the homemade horchata, both of which were really good. For apps, we got the queso fondito, octopus ceviche, and 2 steak tacos. For our mains, the steak tacos and the chimichanga entrees. Everything came out super quick, tasted fresh, was cooked perfectly, the flavor was amazing, and the presentation was on another level. Definitely adding this spot to our regular rotation of food/drink outings for us.
