I am gluten free! The clam chowder was listed as gluten free and had the same description as regular clam chowder. I asked the waitress why this was and she said all the clam chowder was gluten free! Surprise - It was not as I had a gluten reaction and suffered intestinal problems upon arriving home for two days!

We went in for a drink at the bar, but Leslie and Gretchen were so engaging we stayed for drinks, apps and then dinner! The pepper calamari was fabulous. Dinners of baked haddock with extra asparagus and baked scallops were delicious. We will be back!

The three people I interacted with were very friendly, tasty hazy IPA, California Lobster BLT special was very good, beautiful slab wood bar to eat at, and enjoyable music in the background. Even heard some Weezer! 🙂

My girlfriend and i’s experience was absolutely incredible! The Blueberry Lemonade infused vodka special was one of the best I've ever had! We ordered the mussels and fire cracker shrimp which was so delicious! The garlic and white wine broth was perfect and the fire cracker shrimp was perfectly battered and had the perfect amount of sauce to it. For entrees, I highly recommend the Maine Stuffed Haddock as I didn't want to put my fork down no matter how stuffed I was. My girlfriends blacked haddock salad was also perfectly seasoned the same goes for her, she did not want to put the fork down either. And as for our amazing server Gretchen, your hospitality and service was one of a kind!

Newish spot in Ogunquit. My family loved the food. We visited twice. Our server was really sweet and now I can't recall her name but she served us on both days. On day 2 we did the happy hour and no one was disappointed.

Fish was fresh, Suzanne and Nikki were sweet and accommodating , highly recommend, will return!

My sister took her bridal party here for her bachelorette weekend and we had a great time! Family friendly establishment, everything we ordered was delicious and brought out within 20 minutes. There’s a lobster tank at the end of the restaurant where you can watch lobster get pulled out by hand to be cooked. The lighting was a little bit bright for dinner hour, but we didn’t mind at all. The booths are very large and easily accommodated our party of six. We staff were friendly and tables were bust quickly. As a native New Englander I can be picky about seafood and this place didn’t disappoint!

First time experience. Gretchen was a great hostess. The OGT lobster roll was delicious and paired well with their local brew, Champs. Finally, the lemon blueberry cake did not disappoint! Looking forward to going back next time I visit.

We went to Peppers in Ogunquit for the first time this 4th of July week. My friend recommended it, stating this was the best lobster roll he’s ever had. And he was not wrong. The atmosphere was lively, a little loud because it was trivia night, but energetic. The service was stellar. Gretchen is a rock star and I would recommend asking for her if you have a chance. She brought our boys extra cherries, upon request. She was attentive and kind during our whole dinner. The lobster rolls were amazing. Would recommend getting the Footbridge. This bar/restaurant caters to families. The gigantic pretzel was fantastic. At the end of our meal, Gretchen brought a ‘treasure chest’ for the kids to pick a prize. It really made the evening so special. Affordable, delicious, and overall 5 stars!! ⭐️ Definitely try it out. Peppers is now added to our list of go-to restaurants.

One of the newer restaurants in the center of town. Outdoor seating is available. Live entertainment is available in the evening on weekends which is very nice, but the sound level is elevated. We had calamari for an appetizer with were fried and tasty with a tomato sauce. My entree was seafood pasta and a gluten free option was available. The dish was tasty With a large portion and ample seafood. Fish tacos had haddock which was fresh and tasty. The clam chowder had nice flavor but had too many potatoes and not enough class. We visited on July 4th weekend and the servers were stretched thin, which certainly affected the servers ability to pay proper attention to her patrons. We waited a long time for food. Our wait person apologized for the delay on several occasions. All in all a new alternative in town with some good choices and several gluten free options. I would give an overall rating of 3.5/5.

We just had THE best chowder since coming to Ogunquit- over 10years. The Buffalo cauliflower was delicious, as was the haddock taco salad. The mango sangria just added to the deliciousness of this meal. And the waitress was an absolute delight.

Bella made our afternoon meal a great experience. Quick service, very friendly, and frequently checking on us. Caroline was so nice and accommodating with our wheelchair needs. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I came for karaoke night on a whim, and what a blast it was! Great food, great staff, and an amazing atmosphere.

We visited today, it was slow. They took forever to get our drinks, no plates and most of all I ordered lobster roll that literally only had 1 1/2 once’s of meat- just disappointing! We will not be back..

Been going to Peppers Landing since it opened excellent food and service spent 4 night in Ogunquit this week went there twice had Gretchen for our bartender she was awesome we will be back next month

We took the fisherman choices. Basically everything is fried served with sauce. The scallops and shrimp had no flavor except with the sauces. The fries were excellent and so was the sangria. The place was very clean and welcoming and the service was excellent too.

Usually the only reviews I leave are for places I like. Unfortunately, this is probably the 1st negative review I have ever left. I have no idea how this has a 4.8 star rating. Mediocre is the only word I would use to describe the whole experience. When you walk in to a restaurant and every single salt and pepper shaker on every table needs to be filled, something isn’t right. The food was bland, and the service was lacking. I think there was only 1 person that was actually working, the food runner. Our plates, as well as those around us, sat empty on the table after we finished. This was even after the check was brought and we paid, and there were only a few seated tables. Overall, just a bad experience.

Great food and drinks. Bartender was working hard while 2 hostesses stood around.

We came for breakfast because my group didn’t want to walk another 13 minutes to my recommendation of “Egg and I pancake and Waffle House.” The service was nice and attentive. The eggs Benedict was bland and the hallandale sauce was not even noticeable. The baked beans were so bland it was like just eating beans from a can. Even the homemade blueberry muffin was bland. It was obvious that the grill was up too high as the eggs were undercooked on the inside and burnt on the outside. Too bad because I bet this place is great for dinner. This is not a breakfast spot I would recommend in any way. I hope they do better in the future but O won’t be back.

We stumbled upon Peppers Seafood on our walk and decided to give it a try for dinner. We were very happy we did. Food was excellent (seafood pasta, lobster roll, hand cut onion rings) and our server Mike was terrific. We sat at their outside barstools and enjoyed people watching while eating. We will come again ❤️

Oysters were huge and delicious the day we went. Baked haddock was light and succulent despite the richer topping (a great balance). Wings were good and meaty, not super crispy or the most amazing but plenty of flavor and spice (I’d get them again but wouldn’t come here JUST for the wings- they have too many other great options) Crab quesadilla is genius and was so glad to see someone finally do it right.

So delicious for a fair price. We got 4 1 pound lobsters which ended up being $17 each. And then we got Caesar salad, pepper calamari, sweet potato fries, and halibut taco. Everything was incredibly delicious except the pepper calamari because it was quite soggy. Everything was super fresh otherwise very delicious!

We come up to Ongunquit about 3-4 time ayear for years and have eaten at just about every restaurant here. We came into Pepper's tonight for my wife's birthday. She ordered the stuffed haddock. The haddock was dam near raw and the potatoes were cold. Haddock is a great fish that "when cooked" is firm and flakey. This was grayish and mushy. Obviously my wife wasn't going to eat it. Now she was not interested in seafood, so she ordered a chicken sandwich. That took another 20 minutes, and they forgot her sides. By now, I had eaten my meal, with my wife waiting on hers.... Mine was OK, at best. We just wanted to get out of there. Her birthday dinner was already a flop. We should have gone to one of our regular favorites. So to top it off, it took the girl 3 times to get the bill correct. "3 TIMES TO GET THE BILL CORRECT "!!!! The entire time we were there, the manager never came over to talk to us, knowing of the issues. But when we went to leave, she came over and said the cook said your fish was cooked perfect????? You would think she would have came by earlier to ask what was the problem???? Then she said she you again soon, come give us another try! Really!!!!! Most of the time you have a bad meal, you give them another try..... Not Pepper's. It was a terrible birthday dinner for my wife and we wouldn't go back if the meal was free. We stopped by a place down the street for a drink and told them about our dinner. Seams they have heard others mention similar complaints. It's so sad that a restaurant can be that bad and the management be even worse....... To many great places to eat in this town. This one won't last........

THE most amazing full belly clams I have ever had! Flavorful, crisp and quite the generous portion. The restaurant itself is clean, bright and has a fun but relaxing atmosphere. The staff were wonderfully friendly and extremely helpful. We will be back again this summer for sure!

I loved the food! Delicious with very generous portions. The mussels were the best I’ve ever eaten and the fried oysters were tender and cooked perfectly. Mike, our server was attentive and helpful. Prices were reasonable and a value. I look forward to going back!

Unfriendly Hostess. Seemed annoyed. Waitress, Nicky however was wonderful. Restaurant was very loud and with 2 kids screaming throughout our meal we could hardly communicate with each other. One couple left the restaurant as the screaming was unbearable. We wanted to play trivia but could not hear the person emceeing. Another one of our waitresses was nice but difficult understand. It was her first day on the job. Clam chowder was excellent! Mashed potatoes were cold. Since the reviews we read were excellent we may give Pepper's a second try!

OMG! The best steamed mussels we've ever had! Wife had the fried oyster po' boy which came with a huge serving of tender & super-delicious fried oysters! I had the Southwest burger, cooked exactly as I'd ordered, also very delicious. The fries were great, the remoulade for the oysters was tasty, the cole slaw was yummy, and the white sangria was refreshing & delicious. I almost never give feedback on restaurants, but this was a stand-out experience of great food!

Located at the old Maxwells's spot. I sheepishly asked if I could reserve a table for eight and the maitre'd said "Of course!". I called an hour later and increased it to table for 12 and the Maitre'd didn't even flinch and said "Done!" Food was excellent and our server Gretchen was very good. Prices were perhaps a little higher than I expected, but that's seafood for you. Very enjoyable experience and had glutten free choices.

Wow! We are visiting from MA and had an outstanding experience at Pepper. The service from Gretchen was amazing, she was attentive, fun and great with kids! She immediately came over with crayons and a coloring sheet which made my daughter very happy. We have been to a few restaurants during our stay and Pepper has topped all of them. Gretchen gave the best service and we had the best food! If you want a family friendly place with amazing food! Here it is! (Kiddos meals come in a cute paper boat and at the end they get to choose a prize from the treasure box!) We had: Fried Fiddle Heads (yummy). Onion rings (hand battered!). Seafood pasta with AMAZING bread. Chicken sandwich with homemade chips. Chicken tenders with fries. Mac and cheese in a paper ship/boat. All of the food we had was fresh and clearly made to order. We will be back!!!

Not sure if normal but we waited for 30 minutes at the bar to even put in a drink order. The beers were $12 and $13 each, more than at a sporting event. Pretty bad experience. Seemed like the staff were arguing with each other and no one seemed to know what was going on. I would not have written a review if the beers were not criminally priced.

Best fryed clams any where in Maine

Ordered takeout, the crab and spinach omelet + a “craft” your own omelet. Both options were solid, we enjoyed the crab a lot. Fresh squeezed orange juice was also tasty.

This place is amazing!! Things we tried: Clam chowder, soft pretzel, lobster mac and cheese, lobster roll, Maine blueberry daiquiri, blueberry lemon cake. I’d give them all a 10/10. Service was fast and I’d come here again and again.

Had just a bowl of chowder. It was creamy and in the thick category. Plenty of bits in it. 16 Oz bowl for $12 seemed reasonable. Overall I think they make a good bowl.

The crab quesadilla brought us in and we are so glad! The food was outstanding. My lobster roll was tender and very tasty. My whole family enjoyed their meal even though half of them did not order seafood.

This place is awesome. We had Pepper’s platter and it was so good. So fresh. We also had the firecracker shrimp and it was great. This was a new find for us and we will be back definitely. Stop in the staff is great and very friendly and polite. Thanks for a great meal.

From the moment we walked into Peppers, we knew we were in for a treat. The atmosphere is fresh, clean, and welcoming, with a uniquely designed bar that instantly draws you in. But what truly made our night special were the people who brought the experience to life. It was Josh's first night, and he was absolutely great! However, the star of the show was our primary server, Gretchen. She was nothing short of spectacular, providing exceptional service and representing the business in the best possible light. Her professionalism and warmth are the reasons we'll continue to return to Peppers. The food was a culinary delight. We indulged in many "1 buck shucks" from the Damariscotta River, which were fresh and delicious. My wife, Amy, enjoyed the seafood pasta, while I savored a cheeseburger cooked to perfection at medium rare. The flavors were spot-on, and each dish was a testament to the kitchen's expertise. To complement our meal, Amy had a lovely Chardonnay, and I enjoyed a couple of great, cold beers. Everything from the ambiance to the service and the food made our evening at Peppers an experience we thoroughly enjoyed and will fondly remember. We can't wait for our next visit!

We went there on Sunday and Monday during our long weekend. They had just reopened after losing power for three days after a storm. The food was excellent both times and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed Gretchen, our bartender on Sunday, but all staff were great! We signed up for the rewards program even though we’re likely to go there once or twice a year because it’s about an hour and a quarter away. But we know we will be back. Highly recommended.

First time here tonight, I came in with my friend as it seemed to be the only place near me that was open a bit later, and I have to say I have never been more impressed with a first time experience at a restaurant. The quality of the food is phenomenal, super flavorful juicy perfectly cooked burgers, crispy fries with a soft interior. Pretty sure the honey mustard was house made, everything was absolutely perfect honestly. And the service was GREAT! Huge shout-out to Gretchen she was super helpful and kind, the food came out nice and quick and she was wonderful to talk with, definitely a highlight of our night! Thanks for the great service! We will 100% be coming back! Can’t wait to come again! :)

So much to like about this location. One of the only places open during off season and you wouldn’t even be able to tell. Staff is excellent, friendly and engaging. Richard is hands down the best. I met him at patio and saw he was working tonight and he treated us like we were royalty. I couldn't recommend this place enough. My food was delicious, my fiancée loved her oysters, and the drinks were perfect. He knew exactly what I wanted when I explained what I liked. Highly recommend you visit, such an awesome place.

atmosphere is welcoming. Food was incredible. We got the warm lobster rolls and they were melt in your mouth delicious. The owner Richard waited on us and had us in tears from laughter. Highly recommend!!

First off Peppers is OPEN. It was meant for us to eat here. Stopped at several other places and walked out. The food is phenomenal. The service was phenomenal. Gretchen was our server and we had a great time with her. Her recommendations were spot on. The Restaurant is super clean. Clean bathrooms. Definitely a must try.

I just wasn’t impressed - small portion, mediocre service at best. I commented on the on the tiny lobster portion and the meathead meandering about stated - “That’s a whole Lobster”. That’s what you get.

This is a really nice place right on the road. It's a great place to eat after shopping. I had the clam chowder and twin lobster. They also have a great haddock chowder too!

The food was tasty and they have some pretty great deals on both food and drinks. On Sundays happy hour (which is solid and includes appetizer deals) runs all day, and they have an excellent ‘Sunday supper’ which is your choice of their special entrees plus dessert for an amazing price. Definitely worth checking out’

Was a great experience! Lobster rolls are tasty and very fresh and the Lobster Mac-n-cheese was also excellent. Big chunks of Lobster meat and well worth the money! Definitely go here if you are in Ogunquit.
