Can only rate this place based on my experience. Sat in line for an hour to finally get to the window and the blinds were closed and no one there. No love for the folks who waited in line. At least give me the word your out of chicken or your now closing. Thanks for wasting an hour of my life. If you want to try it get there at opening cause it takes an hour for 4 customers to get service.

Pete's is an absolute gem of the Flathead Valley. He has a massive selection of seasonings and sauces, but I decided on the fried chicken sandwich with Cajun seasoning, house made slaw, and gochujang mayo. I was absolutely blown away! One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Seeing as he is by himself slinging made to order chicken, you can expect a little wait, but it is totally worth it.

I used to think that fried chicken was kind of "Meh." Until I had some of Pete's Fried Chicken. 👌

Best Chicken sandwich Ever!!! You will not be disappointed. Make sure you give yourself enough time. I travel for work, and this is literally the BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH. I can eat this daily. Shouldn't be in your face if it doesn't get all over the place!

Good things come to those who wait! And you will likely have to wait a bit, but what you get in return is hands down the best chicken sandwich ever. There are many choices of seasonings and sauces. I've had the truffle parmesan seasoning with chipotle ranch sauce and the Cajun seasoning with Sno-b-que(white horseradish BBQ sauce), and both were absolutely amazing. And Pete is such a nice guy!! Make sure to get extra napkins, or better yet, bring a paper plate and half a roll of paper towels. Also be aware that it is drive-thru only and cash only. Git you some!

Someone finally did it... Chicken perfected! I can't overstate how impressed I was with my sandwich. Excellent crunch, pkenty of juice, packed with flavor without tasting like a salt block... will be back!

The fried halibut and fried chicken sandwiches were 5 star delicious!! Tater tots are double fried so extra crispy. The only negative is the “truffle Parmesan” seasoning which is actually made of furikake (dried seaweed bits, black sesame seeds, sugar & salt) and fake Parmesan. I recommend every item except the fake “truffle Parmesan”. I have eaten real truffle fries and real Parmesan many times so I trust my taste buds. Dessert not available when we were there otherwise we would have ordered them.

The votes are in. The election is over. It's official, Truffle Parmesan seasoning and Chipotle Ranch sauce are the best combination. If you haven't tried it yet, head over there right now. Be prepared to wait everyone else knows it's the best chicken in town and made fresh to your order. WOW! Excellent.

This isn't a Fast Food Restaurant. It is gourmet food in a unique environment. The chicken is always moist, tender and flavored to perfection. The Tater Tots are GREAT! Portugese Mayonnaise is a great choice for sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Pete’s chicken is next level, I only wish they were open more hours. If you are ever between Columbia Falls and Evergreen this is 100% worth a stop.

Slow and steady wins the race - boy, Petey does it right! Made to order, fried chicken sandwiches with alllllll the seasonings and sauces you can imagine. I had high expectations from the beginning based on the chair lift review I heard the day previous on big mountain. One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had and it’s right here in the valley! The combo of seasonings, crunch, tender chicken, and delicious slaw is a guaranteed win. This is a made to order spot, so if you’re in a rush head to chick-fil-a because what Petey creates, pure satisfaction, takes time. You can’t rush a masterpiece. Thank you Petey!!!!

I really never make reviews but the fried chicken sandwich with pickles was absolutely 10/10 delicious!! Best one I’ve had in the valley. Also got some bbq sauce that was delicious as well!

Absolutely delicious and juicy chicken! I got the Hot B Q chicken Sammy and my wife got the chicken bites and truffle fries. One of the best chicken sandwiches of my life. Everything had extra seasoning and full of juicy flavor. Strongly recommend!

Some of the best fried chicken and fries I’ve ever had. The wait can be a little long because of how the operation runs, but it’s worth it.

Delicious chicken sandwiches! The sandwiches are huge and the fry portion is enough for 2 (or 3) to share. I tried the Old Bay and my husband got the Honey Garlic sammy's. Both sooo good! We'll definitely be back!

I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and added pickles and chipotle ranch. They were NOT stingy with the sauce and the sandwich was huge! Worth every penny. Can't wait to impress friends with this place!

Excellent!! Went there yesterday and we ordered Cajon chicken bites, side of Cole slaw, chicken sandwich with hot BBQ sauce, and one other chicken sandwich with buffalo spice. They don't have shrimp on the menu anymore but replaced it with a Halibut sandwich we are looking forward to trying next. Cash only and soooo worth it!

So good. Don’t let ANYTHING get in the way of you and Pete’s delicious chicken sandwich. I recommend adding the pickles, as they are a game changer. Fries are on point as well. A lot of sauce options. Great seasonings. This place is special. Can’t wait to go back! CASH ONLY and it’s take out only, just a heads up, worth the trouble of stopping at the atm.

Just had the first bite of our chicken sandwiches and they are absolutely unreal. Best chicken sandwiches (and fry’s) my husband and I have ever had. He even gave our dog a piece of chicken! We’ll be back sooner than later!

Pete's is a drive-through stand with amazing Chicken! The sandwich was large and delicious, and worth the wait! His BBQ sauce is sweet and flavorful without being overpowering, while the chicken is perfectly cooked with a generous crispy layer on the outside. The Coleslaw is easily among the top 5 I've ever eaten, and compliments the sandwich well! (Note: the slaw is served atop the sandwich by default, and is quite nice!) Pete himself is friendly and is happy to answer new-customer questions. His chicken and sauces are all prepared and sold from inside the tiny building opposite Bullwinkle's espresso. Drive up to the sliding window for service, and don't wait until 5pm or he might be sold out for the day! One star off "ambiance" for the location, as the unkempt lot detracts from the "diamond in the rough" that Pete's truly is. Excellent food sold by a nice guy! 5 stars; I will definitely be back again for more!!

Absolutely the best chicken sandwich, hands down in the valley. In fact the french fries absolutely rock it as well as the chicken bites. Best not the visit here though, I'd like to keep this place all to myself 🙂.

Amazing. Hands down. I asked for my sandwich without coleslaw. I really, really don’t like coleslaw. He asked if I’d like to try it, so he gave me a small spoonful. Wow! The ONLY coleslaw I’ve never spit out. The sandwich was amazing. The tots were also on point! Remember it’s CASH ONLY. :)
