The Pete's folk are really nice the drinks are cold the atmosphere is friendly and to top it off they have a farmers market with local vendors from 5 to 7:00 on Mondays during happy hr with a very neighborhood vibe. Some of the nicest people I've met in New Orleans and they can mix a mean drink as well! Ps: Don't skip the red beans n rice

Been there twice. First time was after Iris and Tucks and I fell and scraped my knee and limped there with my friends and the bartender gave my friend a firs aid kit to patch me up. I took a shot of whiskey and left because I was embarrassed about just bleeding all over the place. Second time was last weekend. I went with a friend that's a regular. The bartender came from the behind the bar and greeted me with a handshake and a smile. Patio was nice and had a grilled cheese pop up. Great vibes. I drinks were fine I had a gin and tonic and the wells gin was exactly what you wan for a g & t.

Went last week. They had bingo on Tuesday, but we showed up too late to play. Seems like a great crowd! They had a popup in the side patio and seems like a fun locals bar.

This bar is a true old school gem in NOLA. incredible pop ups, cool bartenders (especially Mike on mondays), and the best happy hour in the city from 5-7 with $2 domestics!

If I had a nickel each time I went I would be a rich man and could spend more money here. Great Juke Box and even better...the people! Bingo nights raise money for charity, pop ups (Degenerate Burger!), and it is a great place to watch a Saints game with the DIY Bloody Mary Bar on Sunday (try the countdown - just ask). Quiplash Mondays are a great way to start your week. They also have the best ice water in town.

A cozy neighborhood bar with great drinks. It's worth a trip if only to see the bartender Heidi, she's truly a delight.

One of the things I love about NO is these neighborhood bars! I don't want a crowded place, I want to bend elbows in a chill tavern. This place fits the bill, great drinks, and a warm welcome, ya can't beat that![

The most little quirky Irish Channel neighborhood bar. Cash only. There is an ATM machine in a separate little room around the side. Check the hours because it is not open every day. And also, for security sake, the door may be locked even if they are open, BUT RING THE DOORBELL. They’ll let you in. There is an old school jukebox to flip through, and they have a covered patio out back.

Still a typical corner bar in a great neighborhood but it lost its dive bar character with its change in ownership. Now has bingo & pet adoption nights...Sorry to see Kevin go!

This place has a great neighborhood corner bar vibe because that's exactly what it is. An Irish Channel staple that has been around for years. Great bartender, cheap drinks and no frills. Don't come here. I don't want it to change.

locals call it Pete's after a longtime owner. current owner is Mike, that being said... refreshingly old school, operational since 1931. nothing fancy, if you dont like wood paneling, stay away. exudes all kindsa history... International Longshoreman's Association is up the street in same neighorhood. use your imagination as to how many riverfolk have darkened the door of this joint. enough already, come down and git a drink y'all!
