Nice dinner. The food was just okay. We found the menu options a bit pricey for the quality.

I have been coming here about once a month when I am in Renton for business. I highly recommend the duck with rosemary and pomegranate. The butterscotch creme du pot is heavenly.

Wow — we knew from the web site that this would be a great dinner but boy were we underestimating this great bistro! My husband, brother and I visited while staying at the nearby Hyatt - in town for our father’s homegoing. My husband and I were just home two weeks from Bordeaux, and you can imagine our delight when, upon stepping into the entry, we spied a bottle we had enjoyed while there. What a great omen for the night! The liver pate we began with was fantastic, and was served with warmed crostini. It was the perfect complement to the Bordeaux wine we felt so lucky to have found again. Each of us loved our entrees - salmon, tagliatelle with meatballs, and beef burgundy. Presentation was beautiful and the flavors were outstanding. If you have room for dessert the warm brownie with ice cream is just sublime. Staff works as a team which shows — the service was seamless. Anyone living in the area condos or even nearby would be lucky to call this restaurant their neighborhood place. Believe me if we lived here we would be here every week. Well worth your visit!

This restaurant is excellent. The service, food, and ambiance was superb. The beef was so tender. The pasta with meatballs were good. I loved the meatballs. This place is a little expensive, but they're great!! The butterscotch dessert is out of this world divine!! The pavlova is also very good and has a lovely presentation.

Boeuf Borginot was SUPERB and the Halibut my guest had was a wonderful texture and full of flavor. A butterscolch pate desert was extraordinary. Pity the list of entres are so short. They are soooo good. Crowd was sparse 3 tables taken. By the time we were through it was almost full at 11 tables. Very gracious attention paid to my disabled friend throught the dinner. Parking was a little tough to find but, weirdly enough, a public lot was directly across the street. Just didn't see it.

Really wonderful restaurant nestled next to the Hyatt. Excellent food, portions were just right. Good service - friendly and attentive. Convenient parking in the garage across the street - the restaurant will validate your ticket for two-hour parking.

Well tonight was the second night I've been in and it didn't disappoint. Everything on the menu sounds sensational and I'm sad I couldn't try it all, but it just means I have to come back. The service was wonderful, our server tonight was very kind and kept thanking us for coming in. My last review of this restaurant was in 2019 - and we've gone back twice since then when we are visiting Seattle. We recently moved to Renton, and everyone said we had to go to Peyrassol. We finally got a reservation and although it was nice enough and the food and service were good, I thought the atmosphere was too stark and boring. We had been birding along the Lake Washington shoreline and I wanted to make reservations at a nice place to celebrate our second Covid booster. I had a place in mind that was within walking distance, so I called before opening hours and left a message requesting a 6:45ish seating for two. Just after 5PM opening time I received a callback from a cheerful manager who suggested 7:15 instead, to which I readily agreed. We birdied a bit longer and programmed the address into our GPS. As we drove a few minutes longer into an unfamiliar neighborhood I realized that I had picked the wrong restaurant, but decided to go ahead with the reservation. A good choice that was. We were greeted warmly and seated at a table in a well covid spaced room. We think that the restaurant was trying to affect a french bistro experience, and it was not too far off. The menu was fairly deep with several hard-to-cook dishes. We started with the Antipasto, which was delightfully heavy on the meats. For the mains my wife chose the Breast of Duck and I chose the Bouef Bourguignon. Both were excellent. While I thought the broth of my dish could have been a touch richer, that is a quibble, it was excellent. While we would have preferred a Washington wine, Peyrassol stocked their cellar mostly with Italian and European wines. Our capable server, Kristi, helped me select a very nice Sangiovese to accompany our dinner. We had great difficulty in choosing a dessert to share, so we chose both the Crepe Suzette and the Butterscotch Pot de Creme, with a Courvoisier to share. Kristi even made sure that the cognac was in a warmed snifter, a luxury I have not been offered in some time. The wait staff was warm, and never too rushed to see a picture of a grandchild or some penguins that we recently met on the other side of the world. Although we ended up in a different restaurant than we expected, it was a welcome mistake. Peyrassol Cafe is a gem.

This place is amazing I have a bit of an embarrassing story I thought that my friend had told me the owner was a Somalian and not a Sommelier. So when I showed up and the owner came over and talked to me I was shocked by his appearance. Walked over for dinner from the hotel next door. We checked in and were led to a gated patio space for dining. Seating was a bit tight, but a large party left soon after we arrived which helped. We shared the house salad with our cocktails. Dinner was seafood pasta and crepes, both good but the saffron pasta was amazing! Our server was friendly, but we did have to ask for things more than once. They did seem understaffed for the evening. This was not our first time here, and it won’t be our last.

Their Covid plan is to meet you at the door, your meal will be sealed in a paper bag, I thought it felt light but since I haven't eaten there before took it home. For the price of the meal I expected an adult portion, I received what I would expect to be a child's portion, plenty of pesto, not sure if that was being used as a vegetable as it was everywhere and a major detraction. The bread was hard and approximately 3" long. Cannot recommend. This restaurant will survive as it is next to the Hyatt and they will need somewhere in easy walking distance. Know before you go.
