Pho Star Bowl in Riverside ca is pretty good! We usually go to Anaheim ca for our pho fix because we don't like any places out here. Well, Pho Star Bowl has changed that. The service was friendly and welcoming. The decor is inviting and warm. So dont let the outside appearance fool you. Food was yummy hot and fresh. The pho combination was delicious. The beef banh mi was yummy. The Thai tea was perfect. Everything was delicious. My only complaints are that the Bahn mi comes with fries, but they were very skimpy on the portions. Then the pho veggies there wasn't enough of them. Needs more basil and bean sprouts. Other than that, everything was good! I'd definitely recommend coming here, and we will definitely be back.

My wife and I went to riverside for a wedding and wanted to check some spots because we were hungry. Friend told me about this place and it was close by. We had bun bo hue, spring rolls, and Cafe sua da (viet coffee). It was good! Service was great, atmosphere was great, pricing was also great! Recommend this place to anyone that's in riverside! A plus for vegetarians because they have a good amount of choices for vegetarians! I'm not a vegetarian, but had a friend with us who is and he even said a good selection! He had the shaken tofu and veggie eggrolls! It came out hot! Owner was very attentive to customers as well! Will come back soon!!!

It was a first time we dine in because we’re craving for Pho and when we found one near our place we just want to give it a try. We didn’t regret it because the food is really tasty.. I am highly recommended this place… service is quick and the food is yummy…

Some of the tastiest pho I’ve ever had. Definitely one of the best in Riverside. I ordered the #11 I believe. Food came out quickly, and service was good. Pho was on the cheap side and was a massive portion. They didn’t check up on us at all after the food arrived though, but honestly they didn’t even need to because it was so dang good, and there were no complaints. They brought out 2 mini vanilla ice cream cups on the house with our bill which was a nice touch. Can’t wait to be back!

Ordered the shrimp pho and the food was absolutely divine. The soup, noodles, and vegetables was immensely flavorful, complete bliss. My only critique was the shrimp itself was bland. And the server could have been more attentive with checking on us. Overall just amazing and will definitely be returning

Really, really amazing place. The food was delicious. We had the pho ga and pho tai and a crispy wonton appetizer. The staff was so kind and thoughtful, quick, through. The decor was great my mom and me, generations apart, both LOVED all the art. Really quality place. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back.

This place is a great hidden gem,you can't see it from the busy street but when you do it's worth the visit. The service is quick and their food is hot and ready, taste like mom's delicious home cooking. We been there a few times and each time didn't disappoint.

I ordered an Arnold Palmer. It tasted like soap. I only had one sip. They did not remove it from the bill.

This is hands down my favorite place to get Phó in Riverside. The inside has really cool paintings on the wall of musicians and actors. I've only gotten take out but would dine in as well.

I've never seen a pho shop like this. You should definitely go. It's a cool restaurant, so don't let the modest exterior fool you. You'll open the door and it will definitely surprise you. This place is full of character and style (and artworks). And most importantly, they make an excellent bowl of pho. The broth is hearty, and the meat is plentiful, and the service is excellent and efficient.

My new favorite pho place! Been here about 5 times now, both dine in and to go. I always get the rare beef bowl and it's delicious. Egg rolls are great! The broth is flavorful and everything is always fresh to order. Even to go orders, the broth is always very hot and all sides and fixing are there. Took me a while to find the perfect place in my area and this is the one!

A typical Vietnamese restaurant with comfortable seating and unique interior design. Bánh mì (Sandwich) is very delicious and good size but pricey. Pho is good but a smaller portion compared to other places. We like this restaurant but wish the price was lower. There's a hall that displays the owner's collection you may want to check out.

Great little spot! Amazing art everywhere you look including the bathroom that was painted by one of the owners. The food was cooked to order and delicious! Will be coming here again.

Wow I just had the most amazing lunch. I would always just drive by this place. Well today I finally stopped and the only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. The customer service was amazing but the food was even better. If you haven’t been here yet, put it on your to do list. Yum Yum Yummy

Everything was great here. I got the beef pho and egg rolls. Loved it! Also the beautiful art! It’s so calm and relaxing here and clean!

Wanted some pho but wanted to try a new place and came across this place. The reviews were spot on My husband and I had the beef and chicken pho with steamed veggies on the side and ohhhhhhh my goodness it was AMAZING!!! The server (Tin) was patient and answered any questions. Everything was delicious!!!! And the atmosphere was great such an amazing place to just look at. The whole decor was amazing.. I was like a kid in the candy store!!! Definitely will keep coming back!!!!!!!

1st time here. I thought the decor was fun, and the mural which is hand painted by the owner is amazing! I was pleased to see that the restaurant was extremely clean and cute. We ordered their egg rolls which were very good! Then came our Pho, which was hot, ingredients were fresh, and lots of flavor. This place is now my favorite place to come and have Pho! Our Server was friendly and always checked on us to see if we needed anything. Great place to bring your family too. This restaurant is on my top 5 list!!

These guys were great. They hosted a VERY large party for us (~35 people) and we're very happy and helpful. They seated and served us well. The male waiter was very accommodating and made us feel welcomed. Would definitely come here again!

Amazing food. Best Pho I have tried to date. I grew up in Riverside and this was my go to for pho for years, moved to Central California and every Pho place me and my wife tried since just hasn’t been the same. 2 years of being away from this Pho restaurant and we still haven’t found a replacement. Can’t recommend enough.

Favorite pho place by far! Food is always good, place is nice and clean and the waitress (with glasses) always so sweet and smiling. I enjoy this place a lot it shows that the owners care for every detail.

The restaurant was very cool inside. I could spend a long time looking around. The food was good. Not the best out there but it was good. They close early so don't come for a late dinner. They closed at 7 on the Friday night that we went.

This is our go to pho place since it’s so close to us. Can’t beat the price and drink combo! I love that they offer vegetarian option as well. Our server is always attentive and friendly.

This Restaurant still has not change at all after 6 Years of giving them a negative review, they are still rude and have a fast talkative attitude towards their customers. Last night I went in to place a simple order, and one of the waiters that was there was not so welcoming to me nor my group of friends, and instead of a proper greeting, she just went to the point of what we wanted to drink. Of course the simple beverages where expensive, and the food that I ordered had noodles and pork cutlets. I was dissapointed on their cooking quality in the way how they prepared their dish. The pork looked old and has a odd smell. To make matters worse, she didn't say anything of whether or not we want anything else from the menu, and instead just dropped the check in our table. Of course I left no tip and just paid the basic cost and walked out of there. I will not recommend anyone to this place if they are going to be that way to non Asian consumers. Because looking at them they are deemed kind of racist to non-Asians.

Good food, great atmosphere. I was very happily surprised once I walked in with my wife and kids. The decorations were very nice to look at. The bathroom is awesome. The food was great, my wife was feeling sick for a few days and was not eating much, but after she ate the vegetable soup she was feeling like her normal self.

Smaller menu but tastier dishes. Pho has a more pronounced flavor that dazzles the tastebuds and the bahn mi is awesome w the addition of jalapeno, all bahn mi's need jalapeno, lol.

Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das Licht im Restaurant könnte etwas heller sein,denn durch die dunklen Möbel,wirkt es leicht erdrückend. Das Essen wurde schnell zubereitet. Leider habe ich mehr Fleisch erwartet und auch hätte ich gerne mehr Nudeln,die auf einem Salatbeet waren gehabt. Man ist ja gewohnt viel Nudeln oder Reus beim Chinesen,Koreaner oder Vietnamesen zu bekommen. Preis und Leistung geht in Ordnung.

Always amazing always attentive great food

For a Vietnamese, I felt like this place had smaller servings and was a bit more expensive. The pho had an overpowering flavor (not sure what) and my fiancée's fried rice was surprisingly dry.

Every time we come here we have a pleasant experience. Everyone there is so sweet, they really add to the experience. I love how clean the restaurant is too. And, I absolutely love the decor! The owner does all the art. I think they should sell the art and make that a side hustle ;) it’s that good! The food is absolutely delicious! We love the pho and the fried rice (that’s what we usually order). My kids love it too and they are picky eaters. This is our spot when it comes to family dinner! The owner let us know that there will be a new menu and I cannot wait to check it out! I’m sure it will be delicious. I cannot say enough about this place. Great costumer service, great food, and overall great experience. I 100% recommend this place!

I’ve been coming to this place since 2007. I think the owners changed but the food is just as great. The staff is always so friendly. My favorite is always the egg rolls with the lettuce and white rice. Brought my husband here today and he loved it too!! It’s so quiet and dim inside. Makes it for a relaxing dinner or lunch. This is probably the nicest and cleanest pho restaurant I've seen. That's not a knock on other pho restaurants, because that's typically what I assume is par for the course, small hole-in-the-wall joints. I just stopped in here on my way out to Idyllwild, and I was very happy with the stop. The food was delicious. The servers were helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stop here again if I am going to be in the area.

Service was great, but as a pho lover the broth was mostly tasteless and the pieces of meat in it instead of being thinly sliced or shredded (to make them more easily edible) were as large as a small deck of cards.

They have the best Vietnamese food in Riverside! My favorite is the veggie vermicelli and their banh mi sandwiches (especially the beef!). They know me and my family and always make us feel welcome. Additionally, they have decorated the restaurant with their own created art that looks beautiful!

Star Bowl is the best Vietnamese food in town, hands down. We love the staff and every dish on the menu is worth trying. Their coffee is the best I've ever had. You have to try it !!

This is my favorite restaurant in the entire world. The people that run it are the most genuine human beings. Tien, the owner, paints the most amazing paintings on the walls. The Pho blows my mind! They never skip on the sprouts and fresh basil. Their Vietnamese coffee is perfection. Consistent quality always!

Had the pho ga and the pork banh mi. Both were very good. Did not like the thai tea as much as it was very sweet even though we asked for it to be less sweet.
