I think the pic speaks for itself lol these are the $7.50 chicken skewers. The Thai tea was delicious and the service was great. The chicken though.. tiny and underwhelming.

Terrible service, the waitresses with bad smoke serve the super dirty salt jars, I do not recommend it in any way, the food is poorly filled with salt.

We got the chicken skewers to start and we each had chicken pho, mine with extra chicken and veggies and his with extra noodles. Both were phenomenal and, as always, the staff is friendly and very attentive. Great prices too

The Pho was perfect. The portion was huge. I have no idea how hungry one must be to finish it..... starving for sure.

Great attention to details!! They have one of the best bun bo hue I’ve had in the area. The thinly sliced banana flower and cabbage add delicate texture and flavor to the soup. I also like their cha gio a lot! The mushrooms, with meat and everything else, taste full of umami. Friendly service. Chill vibe. I hope to try more items from the menu soon.

My review could be biased as I didn’t order Pho which might be what they are better at. I got some rice dishes and they were disappointing. We ordered one pork with lemon grass and one chicken with onions. As you can see in the picture, both look (and taste) pretty much the same. The meat isn’t fresh either. The rice, lettuce, and tomatoes were fresh however. I will try ordering something else in the future and update the reviews if warranted. The Vietnamese coffee was on point.

My fiancé and I visited Pho Viet in Newington for dinner, which was the first Vietnamese meal we had eaten in a while. The whole menu looked great and had a bunch of authentic options. For appetizers, we were really impressed by the flavorful chicken teriyaki skewers, and the fresh garden rolls were great too. We were very happy with our pho and rice noodles with grilled beef. Every dish used really fresh ingredients, and we noticed that the prices were very reasonable too. It was nice that they had bubble tea and smoothies available to have with our meal as well! We would definitely come back for their authentic food, quick service, and bright & inviting dining space!

I enjoyed this place. Took my family here for a nice lunch on a cool Sunday Afternoon. Everyone was friendly. Service was good. We all had their PHO. I had Shrimp Pho, my wife and daughter had the Pho Ga (Pho with chicken) My daughter also had their Bobba Tea (Strawberry Green Tea) absolutely amazing! She enjoyed it. We will be back!

It appears that Pho' Viet made a comeback. I've been a patron since they opened around a decade ago, and now with new Management, it's exactly the same with a slightly different flare. The young folks running this place are a step above, and highly professional. I stopped in for an Appetizer and some Pho', and settled on a beef stew I had never ordered. Rich and meaty with the perfect blend of veggies and thick hearty broth/gravy. I'm surely headed back on my next time through Fenn Rd Plaza.... see y'all there!!

I have been going to this place for *years*, in fact ever since it opened. It used to be a really good place but not so anymore. Over the past year or so the waitress they hired has been incredibly rude to me. Every time I come in, she seems disgusted I'm there. Around this time my orders have been repetitively wrong and I've been charged more money but never offered the difference in their mistake back on more than one occasion. I have been given rotten vegetables that had mold or the lid on my soup wasn't put on causing it to spill everywhere several times. I check the lid everytime now but seeing it off or loose so many times is disheartening. Today the waitress couldn't even hand me my order she placed it randomly on the counter away from me for me to get. I am once again missing ingredients in my order. I've tried to give them several chances but there are other pho places. The food tastes great when they get it right but between the mistakes and utter rudeness, this place has lost a very long standing customer.

I came here with my mom today and It was my first time trying pho and I loved it. The broth was very flavorful and it had a good aftertaste. I also got the lime soda which was very refreshing and tasted good. The guy up front was very nice and made me feel welcomed. I ordered to go but I think I would’ve like it more if I ate at the restaurant. I’ll probably come back to try more pho⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

i ordered on door dash and every piece of meat was spoiled. It had a green metallic color to it and no peanut sauce was given with my tofu.

This hidden gem of a restaurant has delicious pho at affordable prices. I ordered the chicken pho, and it was incredible. Their portions are huge, and they don't skimp on the veggies, noodles, or protein like some other places do. The broth is also really flavorful. Very friendly staff as well.

I'm not quite sure what went wrong here. The last time I dined in I ordered the Beef Pho which was fantastic. This time, I ordered the beef rice bowl with lemon grass, onion, pepper and pickled carrots through takeout. The beef was unexpectedly spicy as the online menu didn't have a spice icon for this item. The beef itself had a weird texture. The pickled carrots, peppers and lemon grass were also missing so I had practically no veggies to go with my meal. I didn't get the fish sauce either. Very disappointed this time around..

Got take out. Absolutely miserable. Ordered the Com Ga Xao Sa Ot - (Chicken with lemongrass, peppers and requested no onions, extra spicy.) Miserable, deeply miserable. The dish had tons of onions, inexplicably tomatoes, the rice was overcooked and hard to the point of almost having a hard layer to it. The chicken in my photos was poor in the worst ways possible. The chicken was overcooked, to the point of being so over done it squeaked as I chewed it. As you can see it also isn't even sheered off from the general tendons or gristle. Multiple pieces are like this, making attempting to get to the actual meat a chore to hunt. Spice level was slightly above black pepper. The flavor was barely there. My partner got the Hu Tieu Bo Kho ( Vietnamese Beef with Rice Noodle) Again, subpar levels of meat quality ruin the meal, the beef I'm told is the same quality of Din Ty Moore. The absolute lowest grade above pet food. This is baffling. I've never had a single Vietnamese meal in the dozens Vietnamese restaurants I've tried that resembled anything as close to as low a quality as this. I truly have no idea how they have the current 4.6 rating they have. Tried it once, won't do it again, complete disappointment and waste of money. Avoid, there's plenty of places that are doing amazing things in the area if you want. I'm going to shamelessly plug Thai 29 in New Britain, because you can get a much better meal for the price range. Seriously not sure how if folks ate what I ate, they are thinking this place is worth anything beyond the 2 I'm throwing down in food. It was edible, bland, overcooked, poorly seasoned, and improperly prepared with subpar meat. If the owners read this review - you went too cheap with your poor ingredients and lost a customer and gained a bad review. Folks are paying $12-$20 a plate and you're trying to being cheap on your basic ingredients. Shameful.

Family friendly and so DELICIOUS!!!! Best pho in Newington. They also have kid sized portions which is very nice if your kid enjoys pho too. Highly recommend!

The restaurant was recently run by a new owner. I ate this restaurant with my wife about twice a month for 5 years. Sometimes, even if I asked for a little more broth, the former owner did not accept any additional money. But two weeks ago, when I asked for an additional broth, the new owner charged $7. I think it's because the owner's greed is too much to get 7 dollars more by giving a little soup. I will never go to this restaurant now.

My wife and I have been going here for a couple years and it is fantastic. Recently under new ownership and the food is just as great and the customer service is wonderful. Huge portions. Best pho place around.

What a cozy spot ! My partner and I got the roasted quail appetizer (which is super unique, we don't normally see that on a menu), combo beef pho, chicken rice with lemongrass. The quail was a good size portion. The broth was great, although the size of the bowl was a tad small. Would definitely recommend going for a large bowl. Chicken was cooked just right - juicy, flavorful. I would definitely recommend !

Me and my husband come here all the time! There is usually not a wait and the food comes out quickly. The phone is flavorful and so fresh. The staff is very friendly. We've tried a lot of things on their menu. We had the soft spring rolls, the fried spring rolls, the chicken pho, the beef pho, multiple teas and all of it has been very good!

I love this place! I’ve been there 3 times and I love it! I get the same thing everytime. It seems to be a small family-owned business so I like supporting them. They’re all very nice and friendly! And the food is absolutely delicious and healthy!

Ive tried this place when they first opened, and compared to now the Pho broth is way better. Decent size serving. Noodles cooked just right and meat was tender. Its on par with many places and if I need a fix, this place will be added to my list. Vietnamese coffee also on par with other local places. Doesnt stand out, but isnt horrible. Give it a try. Parking is plentyful with a huge shared lot. Very convenient.

The owner charged me over tax , can he do that ? I thought in Ct the tax only 6.35 but he charged 7.35 Is this a legal?

I used to work at a Vietnamese restaurant and when it closed I went to a lot of places to find somewhere as good as what I was used to. This is the place. The pho broth is perfect. The Bún is something that I end up craving more of. I usually get take out but the couple times I’ve eaten in have been good experiences, friendly people.

It's been a 5 or so years since I've visited here and unfortunately it's gone downhill in quality. Disappointed that the first thing I ordered was limeaide, I paid for it but never recieved it. It was not busy inside and it smelled wonderful. The pho broth was delicious and warm. The garden rolls cracked before I made it home, they were surprisingly dry and the shrimp inside were discolored and chewy.

I absolutely love this place. I go here every week to get the Pho soup and it's delicious. The environment is super clean and most of the staff is friendly. Thinh in particular is a very good server and always attentive. There are some girls who work and their pretty good as well.

I have been to Pho Viet many times. I am also extremely happy with the quality of food and the friendly staff. My favorite thing is Bun bo hue with everything. It's a very rich and spicy soup with even more veggies to add such as cabbage and banana blossom on top of the typical bean sprouts and thai basil. The soup has both beef and pork pieces and is extremely tasty. There are soft thicker noodles as well. This soup is amazing and has been tasting better than ever! I always also get a jasmine tea because they have a really awesome whole leaf one. Additional things that are always great are Pho, spring rolls, fried spring rolls, and many more.

i love pho and i’ve had it in basically every town i’ve ever set foot in and the soup at Pho Viet is truly absolutely delicious. the nuances of the spices was more present in the pho viet broth than anything i had had before. flavorful and savory but not overpowering— delicious my vegetarian friend was also happy that they had vegetarian options.

If you like pho you'll love this place. Everything here is wonderful and made with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the A2- fresh garden rolls and BB1 which is a spicy pho with beef and pork. They also have different types of bubble tea

Beef combination pho with vegetables. Fragrant, delicious broth. I didn’t want it to end! I also got beef skewers and chicken wings. Both sweet fragrant umami savory, very good. This is on our way to one of our grocery stores so we will definitely be coming back.

Excellent quality food. The Bun Bo Hue and Pho were very savory, good portion. My only gripe is the meat, not enough not just of it. From the pics you can see broth was there's no stacked meat over it. Attentive friendly staff. Decor like another Vietnamese restaurants.

This is probably one of the best and authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the NorthEast. The Bun Bo Hue is sooooooo good! And the ice coffee too!. I will definitely stop by this restaurant if I am even remotely close to the area!

We order from there a lot and usually it’s really good but today not so much. The rice spring rolls were falling apart and the noodles in the soup were under cooked. Not as good as they were before. A lorikeet disappointed.

The pho here is absolutely amazing. Pho Tai is my favorite, the broth is so good. Everything is so fresh. The beef is very good quality as well. I've eaten at Vietnamese restaurants all over CT, and other states, this one is top notch. One of my favorites.

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant!!! I drive here about 2 times a week, 40 mins total each time just for their pho, bun bo hue, and bubble tea!! Their milk tea and strawberry tea with boba is so good! Must try! The broth is so flavorful you don’t even need to add any condiments.

Delicious BBh 1 with spring rolls and shrimp paste the best

This was first stop coming off my blood thinner (I can finally eat greens again!) the pho was amazing! I’m pretty sure I threw in everything (including the basil stem) and it was nothing but smiles from there on out.

Excellent Vietnamese rice, rice noodle and soup (Pho) dishes. I had the beef with rice noodles.They also have some very good appetizers, I really like the fresh rolls made by rolling rice noodles dough, fresh vege"s, shrimp and pork and served with peanut sauce. Besides coffee and soda to drink they also make homemade lime soda, great teas and vietnamese coffee drinks.

Regularly come here for pho, bun bo hue, pho sate. Definitely holds up to pho in San Jose and LA. Two thumbs up

The BEST Vietnamese restaurant. I am not the typical customer wanting Pho (though it’s awesome). Their Bun and Bo Kho is my absolute go to. Everything is authentic and a must try. They make Viet iced coffee like it’s supposed to be made. Love them!!
