Beautiful establishment, clean and visually stunning. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious

Food was delicious and fresh! Our waitress Evita was nice and polite. She suggested us what to choose from salads. I highly recommend everyone who loves grilled meat, fish and fresh vegetables salads.

Very delicious food. The cauliflower was made to perfection, just soft enough. I enjoyed the hummus, bread, and chicken the best. I enjoyed trying things I hadn’t eaten before and expanding my palate. The ambiance of the restaurant was great too. It’s well decorated and has meaning in the design.

10 out of 10 would recommend. It’s a family owned restaurant with great service that prepares food to perfection. They take pride in their restaurant, which is hard to come by. I enjoy the most that it’s a scratch kitchen. They’re cooking everything, not pulling it out of a bag and microwaving it. The food is light and doesn’t make you feel bloated afterwards.

Authentic Lebanese food full of flavor served in generous portions. Their complimentary oven bread + zaatar and olive oil was amazing. All the dishes we ordered were really good, with a special shoutout to their tabbouleh, hummus, and toum (garlic paste). The service is very hospitable too. The clients coming in seemed like regulars.

The food was so good. It was big portions and reasonably priced. They bring out great and oil which was so good. The service was also wonderful, she was very attentive but also gave us our space. I got the gyro fries which were great. I will definitely be returning.

Came here for lunch the other day. Interior is very generic and the food felt like a sad imitation of Lebanese food I have had in the past. My fattoush was very sweet and the lettuce leaves were old. Kofta was dry with very little flavor, and hummus came with vegetable oil instead of olive oil. Definitely skip this place.

The food here is phenomenal. I’ve tried the Kafta Kabobs, Mixed Grill, Shish Tawook, gyro, and hummus. Everything is delicious. I can’t wait to try the whole menu.

Avoid at all costs! We ordered for an office today (before they even opened) called ahead to confirm with Mohammed and still our food was 2 HOURS LATE AND GROSS. With so much good Mediterranean food in Austin, go elsewhere!

The food was good. The quantity of the food was worth the price, even though we might seem it to be a bit pricy. The chicken shawarma is pretty big and filling . The falafel is the best that I have had in the US till now. The mixed platter grill is also decent. The ambience and the seating could have been better. Overall a good place to have food.

Honestly so disappointed because I've heard great things. Ordered online and even though delivery was pretty speedy, the food was cold, the meat was dry, and the order was missing items. Way too expensive for what tasted like it was a day old.

Garbage, don't waste your time. Disgusting bathroom, tea is stale and cold, server is unhygienic and made multiple mistakes on the orders. Worst of all there was a hair found in my dish, but I guess it wasn't too disappointing because the food was trash. Anyways. Nothing about this place is authentic, and the chef's are ethnically not even Lebanese which explains the flavors being completely off.

In this place, you can try real Lebanese cuisine. The meals not only look good but they taste even better. The servers are so friendly, and the cooks are real professionals. My top favorites are Phoenician Get Started and Splash Garlic Chicken. They even serve some Ayran/Eran there! You will enjoy, I bet.

It was a pleasure to visit this institution. the chef definitely knows his stuff, some of the juiciest meat I've ever eaten. Separately, I also need to say thank you to the staff, everything is fast, clear to my surprise.

The best kept secret of Mediterranean cuisine in Austin! Big portions and great food!

So many of these restaurants around campus…and the fact that it replaced Milto’s with mediocre food is another one of Austin’s greatest strengths. I tried to order something that sounded good…so I went with chicken schwarma (minus the ketchup 🤮). I will just say that I ate half, the other went in the trash and I had a stomach ache the remainder of the day. It’s hardly worth the effort to eat out anymore.

Without a doubt the best Greek food in Austin. Surprisingly it’s hard to find good Greek in Austin. This place rocks, in every way.

OMG! The vegetarian plate was incredible! I’ve been looking for a plate like this since I moved from SF Bay Area 20 years ago. This plate exceeded the Mediterranean plate I loved in San Francisco. Everything was so fresh and delicious, and the presentation Wow! Beautiful plate! Needless to say I will be coming here often for this healthy and delicious vegetarian plate. I’m honestly surprised this restaurant wasn’t packed and overflowing with people. Wake up Austin! If you love Mediterranean food this place is a Must try!

I rarely take the time to review restaurants anymore but Phoenician Resto Cafe was amazing. Great serving staff, great atmosphere and the best Greek food we have had in Austin. Prices are crazy reasonable and the Turkish coffee was a new experience that definitely kept me up a little late with caffeine. Will be back!!

This place was extremely good. Everything we had was delicious and flavorful. Service was great and prices are very reasonable. If we are ever in town again, we will be coming back. Shish tawook was incredibly juicy chicken with great seasoning. Took a bit to cook even though I was the only one there, but I didn't mind at all.

Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Food arrived fast and was delicious.

It was nice place near campus to dine in. I had a greek salad, mixed grill platter and beef shawarma bowl. I like all of them but I think the amounts of proteins are bit small. Sauces were really good especially the garlic one. Hummus was also good. It is a bit pricey for me but I think it is still a god place to dine in.

Best Mediterranean food in Austin! The dolmas taste so fresh and the hummus and baba ganoush have the perfect flavor and texture! The food came out just minutes after I ordered it and they are so friendly! They even brought me a cup of hot tea with fresh mint while I waited :) So happy I found this place!

The food was good but what I enjoyed most was the atmosphere when sitting in the outdoor seating area. Me and my gf actually spent 2 hours sitting outside just talking watching people at the thrift stores walk by.

This place is delicious! The tenderloin kebabs, fat gyro and babbaganoush are all amazing. The gyro fries are interesting and super tasty.

The restaurant is in the UT area near the drag and I tend to think of restaurants in this student area as being below par, and so I was suspicious of the overwhelmingly number of great reviews. We went for lunch one day to check it out and it's true! The food is very flavorful, the restaurant clean and cheerful and the service couldn't be better. I had the falafel wrap, which was really good - I wished I had ordered an order of hummus to go along with it because it was slightly dry, but nevertheless very tasty. My husband ordered the lamb kabob and thought it was one of the best he has had it Austin. The surprise was the salad, I'm not sure why, it was a simple greek salad, but it was delicious. They also have a nice patio. I'll be back.

The gyro wrap was fantastic. Pita was large but thin so it did not overwhelm the filling. Meat was cut in thick slices so not hidden in the mix. Lots of fresh tomatoes and onions.

We had am amazing experience at this awesome Phoenician restaurant. Our server was very attentive the entire time and the food was excellent and came out at the perfect timing. They have a lovely little patio and we loved all of the staff and how friendly and endearing they were. This was the perfect week night out.

Solid menu and grill. The Phoenician Grill Special is a beautiful dinner...as well as everything else, but the stacked skewers on the rack are just so well presented. The sides are very good. About the only place we've found a Shanklish in town and the Fatoush with pomegranate molasses really freshens up the palette. And omg that fresh garlic paste hits it home.

I am happy to finally have stumbled upon authentic and great tasting Mediterranean food here in Austin. I’ve tried quite a few dine in places that weren’t so great but this one takes the cake so far. I got the mixed grill with rice and Greek salad. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. I was also very impressed by the service. I could tell that the owners and staff take pride in their business. I will definitely be returning to this establishment to try more dishes in the future.

We were thinking of getting take out, but I am so so happy that we decided to eat inside. I have never received such good service at a restaurant before! The server was so kind! He offered us suggestions from the menu, gave us a student discount, and later brought us extra side dishes from the kitchen on the house. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I really wanted to this time because our server was so wonderful. I will definitely come back! Also, everything we ordered was really good! I got the lamb kebab, which was very juicy and delicious, but their rice was also so flavorful! I’ve gotten takeout from this restaurant in the past and everything I have ordered from here has been great!

INCREDIBLE SERVICE YOU MUST VISIT!!! Our server was so pleasant we wish we got his name. So underrated. I wish more students knew about this place. They gave us a really great student discount. Incredible hospitality, server brought us all kinds of sauces and salads to have us try on the house. We got enough food for two meals. Cannot recommend enough. We were so so so pleasantly surprised with this place. I don’t think I have ever experienced better service in my life. I felt like I was visiting at a relative’s home. I will most definitely be coming back. Rice was delicious, hummus was delicious, bread was delicious, salad was delicious, fries were delicious! If you are looking to just have a great dining experience at an extremely affordable price this is absolutely the place! Wow! I never write reviews, but we had such a great time here. I wish I could give 10 stars.

First time trying Mediterranean food and let me say the food was delicious. The staff was very nice and attentive. The over all atmosphere and experience was amazing. I saw that they had an outdoor patio that seem very inviting. Must go again to try the patio vibes.

we have been coming here for a long time, since it was located on i35 frontage road. we have also tried many Mediterranean places around Austin, this one is the best. the food is always consistently very fresh and everyone working is always so nice. always a pleasant experience!

I dislike the interior. The lighting feels like a doctor’s office and it’s noisy. The artwork isn’t bad. The fried cauliflower with tahini is a good side or appetizer. I like that it is not over fried. I got the vegetarian platter. The salad was green and fresh but I forgot to ask for no cheese. The falafels were soft and stood out to me for being so spiced (not hot spice tho). Dolmas and hummus and bubangoush (sp?) were decent, not abnormal. The pita was flat and neither soft nor hard.

This place is great! The people are nice, they serve really generous portions of tasty food (the falafel and hummus are amazing; even the rice by itself was delicious), and they even worked with me with my dietary restrictions at pick up. Food tastes great and left me feeling good, and I often have a sensitive stomach, so I highly recommend!
